I don’t live in Italy so I think my pizza standards are lower, but this was the best gluten-free pizza I’ve had so far in my 2 year long gluten-free journey :)
We came today for the first time and we ordered everything! Both the savory and sweet departments were delicious, a variety that even "classic" pastry shops and bakeries would envy, so much so that we couldn't believe it was all gluten-free. It seemed like a good quality/price ratio, and the person who served us was really friendly and kind. Excellent parking next to the place.
Really recommended as a reference in Pisa and the surrounding area for those who are celiac and lactose intolerant.
A place located right outside Pisa airport. We chose it both for its proximity and because it has gluten-free bread. The raw materials used are very good, such as the potatoes that I recommend. The gluten-free sandwich is less good. The service is very friendly.
Visited 1/5 at 9pm.
Rather noisy environment, very crowded. Despite this, the service is very good, waiters fast and attentive. Very long wait, 45/50 minutes to get the first pizza. The staff explained to us that it was a problem related to a lack of staff in the kitchen, only for that evening.
Gluten-free pizza: separate menu, with a reduced choice compared to the traditional menu. Very careful about contamination, the pizza arrives covered.
Dough created by the pizza chef, not an industrial mix. You can feel it. Tastes good, chews bile, not rubbery. Well cooked.
Abundant and good quality seasoning.
Small personal detail: I didn't like the oil on the raw ham and the unseasoned tomato at all. A little difficult for me to cut due to the bottom.
Sweet we are not there. Little choice (2 options) and too expensive (9€) for the quantity.
Overall a good place, we'll be back
We stumbled upon it by chance because it makes gluten-free pizza. We took both takeaway and ate in. Excellent pizza both with normal and gluten-free dough. Delicious, good ingredients and stringy mozzarella 💕 Informal environment, friendly waiters, excellent value for money. We have become regular customers. Thanks 😊
One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten! Tasty pizza, and digestible immediately. From this you can also understand the quality of the dough which is excellent! They also had the foresight to ask immediately at the time of booking if there is anyone intolerant to gluten. I highly recommend! Thank you ❤️

Super friendly and helpful staff! I was served by both the pastry chef (alas I didn't ask his name) who prepared gluten-free things, and a super kind and cheerful girl! He was super patient and was able to immediately answer my thousand questions and give me advice. They have a display case completely separate from the gluten-free display cases.
There are both savory options - not in the photo - and sweet ones, all lactose-free. Some desserts are even vegan. We tried nine small sweet pieces on site and 3 mini cakes to try at home (cheesecake, chocolate and hazelnuts and "pie de limon"). There were also larger cakes made by them frozen in case you wanted them. The mini dessert type Kinder fetta al latte is absolutely a must try, I loved it even though I'm not crazy about chocolate. The cheesecake was really good. The desserts were balanced, not too sweet or cloying, we liked them all from the crema catalana to the red velvet. The price is around €1.20 per piece if you eat there, €35 per kg to take away.
If you are allergic to wheat, the leavened products contain deglutinated wheat starch but not everything else. For celiacs, however, there are various things that can be reimbursed as shown in the photo. 🫶🏻
Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Really great restaurant!
I was there on Thursday night and called about twenty minutes in advance for a table for 2. The gentleman who answered us was super kind and helpful, we were able to bring our 2 dogs with us.
Between the alteo they make a truly EXCELLENT gluten-free pizza!! It really makes the classic pizza jealous.. I also highly recommend the mixed fried food with gluten-free breading, this one is also excellent!!
I will definitely go back to eat that delicious pizza 🥰
La Baracchina an inclusive environment
A very nice place, relaxing view and atmosphere. Friendly service, good local products and options also for those with intolerances (such as gluten-free). Accessible, which is rare in places like this. A nice evening with friends, I will gladly return.
Tried it by chance while passing through, despite having considerable requests... Ice cream tub for celiacs and vegans! 😅
PLEASANTLY SURPRISE! Many hard-to-find flavors for vegans (hazelnut, pistachio, coconut, coffee, etc...)
Furthermore, the cone pods are all basic for celiacs and vegans! 😲
Congratulations to the owner, young and kind!

Excellent, one of the best ice creams we have ever eaten. Original tastes, good quantities and a huge congratulations for making everything or cadi everything gluten-free and delicious. The celiac's paradise. Thank you
Very creamy and rich ice creams, and all of them gluten-free! Thank you very much for providing such delicious options for celiacs!
We ordered the fior di latte and the nocciola and they were both incredible!
Located in the city center.
With an "old tavern" style appearance with bricked ceilings with exposed vaults.
Cozy place, with numerous gluten-free options which in my opinion are very good, and staff who are also very friendly and helpful.
Multitude of “free use” books along the walls.
Perfect place to read, study and spend a few hours.
Highly recommended
Highly highly recommended. Super friendly service. They were very fast. The food is very good. Variety of gluten-free and vegetarian dishes. We will return. Remarkable spaghetti with wild boar ragout

Terrible place, I came here because it said it was gluten-free.
arrived at the bar, welcomed after 10 minutes, rude and incompetent staff, there was a focaccia, three brioches all packaged and ugly looking.
The focaccia was inedible.
Very disappointed and I strongly advise against this place.
Medical emergency the next morning.
I am celiac. Never in twenty years have they served me a dish with gluten while reassuring me that it was gluten-free. The owner did not train the staff properly, otherwise it is not clear how it is possible to exchange a vegetarian dish for a gluten-free dish. I felt sick and left. The bill was paid and no apologies were received, therefore the customer management was also terrible.
Exceptional food and service. They also offer a very good selection of gluten-free or vegan dishes.
The waitress was very nice and helpful finding a gluten-free dish. Also a huge wine selection.
If you're in Pisa, go here.
It was a great experience here! We traveled over the North Italy and of course wanted to wisit Pisa also.
We found this restaurant next to the Pisa tower and it was the best pizza what we have eat until now. We really loved it!
The best on it is that I am gluten free and I really loved the taste of GF pizza (photo).
The service was warm and friendly. They welcome us and also our dog! Thanks!
Restaurant with Tuscan cuisine (also pizzeria for dinner).
The place is small.
The choice of dishes is sufficient to satisfy all tastes (there are both fish, meat and vegetarian dishes).
We went there on the advice of the lifeguard at the nearby thermal pool.
Really well made dishes, express cuisine but fast service.
We ate very well (linguine, steccato, tripe... all excellent!)
Highly recommended.
Also GLUTEN FREE cuisine (Merlo is present in the guide and is authorized by AIC)
Lovely little place for a takeaway or even a dinner in. Plenty options of piadinas and a few gluten-free options. Possibly one of the best vegans options in Pisa
The restaurant is located right next to the Cisanello hospital in Pisa. It has many seats and if you don't book you have to wait your turn. We had dinner in the veranda which is welcoming. We chose it because they also have gluten-free pizzas. Both the normal and gluten-free pizzas are decent. For gluten-free you can only choose a few types but it should be noted that there is no extra charge. The bill is very very honest.
We visit this restaurant every year for the past 5 years and it’s beyond amazing. It’s hard to find a glutenfree friendly restaurant that serves pizzas that great. My mom enjoys the glutenfree pizza and I like to share a “pizzone” with my dad. It’s a mega pizza served on a wooden platter. If you are up for something special, please try this. It’s only 16€ and you can choose 3 different pizza types like the picture I added. Normal pizzas are around 8-9€. Hats off for this place, thank you and see you next year!
Great ice cream, pistachio is super good! Friendly staff and knowledgeable about gluten and lactose intolerances. The cones are gluten free and are delicious.
Nice place and welcoming environment but in my opinion it was a little too hot inside despite the air conditioning. We requested gluten-free first courses, with excellent seasonings but the spaghetti was really undercooked (I understand the difficulty with gluten-free pasta but I expected more attention). Friendly staff and prices certainly within the current average.
Delicious pizza, brilliant service. We were very impressed. My husband was able to eat pizza for the first time in 6 years, because you can order gluten-free pizza in the restaurant. We highly recommend it, the best pizza we have ever eaten!
We were looking for gluten free pizza and found this gem Incredible wood fired pizza both regular and gluten free. Wonderful people - fun atmosphere - don’t miss it!
