Fun little vegan and gluten-free cafe. The staff working were friendly and kind.
It is a small place and the serves are to the smaller side, too. Maybe more of a snack and treat spot I’d say. We came for lunch and had a pizza and burger plus cake and smoothies and drinks and weren’t full after. The rainbow cake looks beautiful, but wasn’t too flavorful. Tiramisu was more enjoyable. Great alternative cafe if on the search for gluten-free and vegan or dairyfree sweat and savory treats!

Excellent place for people with celiac disease! Everything is gluten-free and delicious. We tried the pepperoni pizza, a baguette, a bacon braid, and a kind of vegan curry-filled bun. It's a small takeout place, although there are a couple of benches outside where you can eat. The guy is very friendly and speaks perfect English.
100% recommended, but we recommend getting there early because they're so fast.

Went there today for a quick lunch and got a hummus sandwich for takeaway. I will tell you it was so so good! There's fresh veggies inside and the bread is phenomenal. I wish I could have this every day 😊 the staff are incredibly sweet so I felt like I was at home. If you're vegan and gluten free this is a great option !

Holy cow!! What an incredible meal. To be anywhere in the world, let alone Japan, and have an entirely gluten free meal is a real treat. I can’t even eat like this in the massive American city where I live. This was dreamy. Incredible food and service in an intimate and comfortable space. Very affordable for what you get. 1,000,000/10!!!!

My friend is gluten-free, therefore she was really happy with the wide selection. I tried the sesame ramen, but it was really bland, and the little bit of soy meat tasted like nothing

I happened to come across a gluten-free bakery so I went there with my husband. Everything looked delicious and it was hard to choose. The staff were friendly and very likable. When I received the bread, some were warm and I couldn't resist, so I tried them on a bench in a nearby square. They were plump and had the aroma of rice flour and were delicious. I'm going to buy some more now. I hope they still have some left.

Saved our trip! My son is gluten free, and Japan (largely) is not. It was very hard to find food for him, and other gluten free shops either weren’t really gluten free, or just tasted bad, had very small menus, or were closed when they said they were open. But Biossa had exactly what we needed. Good, fresh, delicious gluten free bread, muffins, baguettes, and croissants! That way we could pack and carry the breads around Tokyo, so my son could eat almost anywhere (by swapping out the provided breads with these gluten free ones). Game-changing. Thanks Biossa!

This place is amazing. A quick walk from Kichijōji
station, there's several pleasant spots to tuck in and eat. My wife is celiac and she had a life-restoring Ratatouille moment of eating a cake and creampuff unlike anything she had eaten since she was young in Europe and able to have gluten. Thank you so much for a great treat!

I ate here no more than 20 minutes ago and it was wonderful. It’s difficult to find gluten free places in Japan, especially along with being vegan - This restaurant was lovely, the food was great and the staff are so kind, friendly and sweet.
We had the lunch plates (where you basically get to try a bit of everything, everywhere should do that am I right?!), donut, chocolate waffle and regular waffle - Everything was so nice, I’m vegetarian and my partner is a meat eater, we loved all of it but had opposite favourites to one another so it’s definitely worth a try!
Enjoy everyone!

Atmosphere was chill and lounge-y like a hip living room or speak easy from the 1920s. Felt like a secret 一言こだわりclub. It was 80% foreigners a from all over the world, so we felt comfortable speaking and laughing at normal sound levels without worrying about disturbing others. The Japanese there seemed happy to have lively foreigners - unlike a lot of places in Japan these days.
Also, there was another restaurant nearby that had a sign that said VEGAN but later said “sorry that’s just “design””.
This restaurant doesn’t just have a vegan menu, but rather can make vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, or MEAT versions of almost everything on their menu!

I discovered this baked confectionery shop while strolling through the back alleys of Roppongi. There are many sweets that are gluten-free and made with rice flour.
Today I had a berry pound cake. The taste was very good.
The price is a little high, 600-700 yen per packaged piece, and the pound cake has no additives, so it has a best-before date of 1-2 days.

A small gluten free bakery. A lot of the desserts suffer from the usual issues with introductory gluten free baked goods. The cookies are dry and crumbly, more like biscuits. The recipes could do with a nice bonding addition such as xanthan gum which would keep baked goods moist and springy.

I’ve been a devoted fan of Riz Lie Amande’s creations since 2023, when I first came across them in Ningyocho. As the pastry chef and owner, Misa-san’s attention to detail and passion for gluten-free baking truly shine through in every treat.
From the éclairs to the Gâteau Fraise and every other delicate dessert, each item has a moist, smooth texture and flavour that simply melts in your mouth. The gluten-free éclairs are so delicious, you’d never guess they’re free from wheat, even when you’re told. The Gâteau Fraise, with its perfect balance of light, fluffy layers and fresh strawberries, is my personal favourite.
I couldn’t recommend Misa-san and Riz Lie Amande enough. Their gluten-free creations are nothing short of outstanding!

When I was having lunch at a nearby restaurant called Otamaju, I saw a flyer and found out about it.
As it is a gluten-free sweet,
Don't worry about that! I asked.
These are the most delicious sweets ever.
All muffins except those containing chocolate,
chiffon cake,
and,
I bought gateau chocolat, which my 4th grader loves.
without feeling guilty,
I bought it as a morning gift.
I ate one to taste in the car on the way home, and...
Really delicious,
Texture, exquisite blend, sweetness,
Everything is very delicious,
I don't snack,
I ate it with all my heart's desire.
The few remaining muffins,
Morning of the next day,
I also received it in the morning the next day,
No change in taste,
I thought it might have helped because it wasn't nearby.
If you go nearby,
I will also buy everything except chocolate.
