This is a great spot for food allergies. My wife had a fried chicken sandwich which was gluten free and she was in heaven. I had their signature black bean burger and the jalapeno jam was very tasty.

English and Spanish: I have been to this restaurant several times and have loved it every time! They are allergy-friendly, 100% gluten-free, and are willing to make accommodations. They have this vegan cilantro sauce that is phenomenal. I’ve gotten the vegan beyond arepa with avacados, lettuce, and Fritos. The rice and beans (the beans depend on who is making it; there have been some inconsistencies there), but everything else is good. I also love their fresh juices. FULLY GLUTEN FREE RESTAURANT 🤩 We’ve been frequenting BIBIBOP in Cary since it has opened. Most all gluten free people know gluten free Asian foods are few and far between. This place is DELICIOUS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I describe it like an Asian chipotle in set-up. You go through line and build a bowl. VERY FRESH and clean ingredients. Tasty teas and lemonades. Yummy free miso soup. Friendly staff and clean space. 10/10 recommend (I promise there is healthy greens under our toppings in the pictures lol)

So I have autoimmune disease called Celiac Disease and that means gluten and me do not get along at all. This place has great gluten free reviews and was super excited coming here. Well now I am about ready to lose my mind. I asked my usual questions concerning gluten free items and preparations for their food/drinks. I ordered a CIDER and got served a BEER without hesitation. This is actually absurd. When somebody asks you about gluten free items and safety precautions and then immediately within 2 minutes get served a gluten containing item, it’s just actually ridiculous. The server was apologetic and kind but not knowing the difference between beer and cider is disheartening.

Was in town for work and wanted something marginally healthy with gluten free options for my friend. I got a salad, they let me sub shrimp for chicken for a small fee and the salad was delightful. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. The staff was nice. Lots of tables inside and out.

This is by far one of the BEST Italian restaurants I have ever been to! My friends and I were visiting Asheville from Charlotte and stopped in for takeout after coming across Strada on my Find Me Gluten Free app. I have never been to an Italian restaurant that was as accommodating for dietary restrictions as Strada. Just walking in, I knew this place would be great. The staff who greeted us were extremely friendly and professional. They made us feel welcome and cared for. They went out of their way to make sure our orders were correct. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and was so excited to find out that not only do they offer gluten free pasta, but they offer rice-based gluten free pasta! A lot of places only offer corn-based gluten free pasta and that doesn't taste as good as rice and it's harsher on my stomach. This pasta tasted amazing! The gluten free pasta didn't even cost much extra which was AMAZING because I went to another restaurant in Asheville that charged me an additional $5 just for a side of carrots as I couldn't eat any of their other sides. Strada also has a lovely set up with a gorgeous bar and lounge area. The next time I am in Asheville, I definitely want to eat here!

Besides all the food being absolutely incredible, from the appetizers to the dinner to the dessert, all fantastic. The service was amazing, my family and I went and the server, Tatiana, was the most attentive server I've ever had in my life, was so on top of everything, drinks being topped off, above and beyond and incredibly friendly. I don't reveiw often but felt like this deserved it, definitely suggest this place! Also side note, my mom has celiac and they are very careful with food allergies, her plates even had allergy warning stickers on them. The menus made note of what was gluten free, and spice levels, as well as a low calorie specific menu.

Let me just say- a cafe that is SPACIOUS, open EVERY DAY until 8pm, has tons of flavors, is affordable, GREAT service!!!! this was my first time here and i got a cold brew with sugar free chocolate and raspberry it was SO GOOD!! i am gluten free and appreciated the separate case for gf items, but unfortunate it all contains nuts so i wasn’t able to try any of it… however it looks fantastic!!!

Their head chef is actually celiac, so very knowledgeable! The food is delicious and the atmosphere here is unmatched. As long as you share your allergies, they are very accommodating and knowledgeable in how to keep you safe!

It is so cute (not at all a dive) inside! They are very knowledgeable about gluten and have many options. The fried chicken was delicious and I really liked the fries. They also have fun cocktails, and my friends enjoyed their meals as well.

Wowza!! I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious these gluten free deserts were. I stumbled upon this place by happenstance and since I’m gluten free decided to try the brownie, pecan pie and gingerbread cookie. I’m use to gluten free deserts having a slightly odd flavor or grainy texture so I was expecting this from what I purchased. Boy was I wrong!! Everything taste divine and the textures were on par!! Again, I was so pleasantly surprised that I had to write this review right away. Can’t wait to come back and try new things 😁

We had salads and pizzas delivered for our large group one night. They were fast and efficient. Salads were fresh and delicious (Greek salad). The pizzas satisfied our cravings and went perfectly with the wine we had at home. Solid crust and ingredients. We had a guest that was gluten free and she was able to pick her option and enjoy a great pizza alongside everybody.

I want to start by saying, we really liked the restaurant and food was great! Their gluten free bread was really good also. The reason for the 3 star review though is solely based on our experience with the waitress. When we ordered I ordered their Turkey club, hella good btw, and asked for gluten free bread. I then asked for the french fries. Her body language and attitude immediately changed very aggressively and replied, “I can’t give you that” I asked why, and she said “because they’re fried in the same oil as other things”. I then tried to explain that I have more of a gluten intolerance and would be fine. I live with it and know my body. “She then got even more rude and defensive and said “ Well I will not be responsible if you get sick then” I have never been treated like that over gluten before. I greatly appreciate the concern she was trying to convey however the level of rude and tone of talking to me like a child was extremely off putting and honestly will never go back there because of her. We genuinely really loved the atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant until her. Maybe she was having a bad day but to be nice and friendly and then a complete 180 difference was extremely disappointing.

Gluten Free selections available on a designated menu. Hubby is GF. He enjoyed his fish. Smaller portion but I'm sure it was all based on market price of the fish. I believe it was Maui? Wish I believe is more expense anywhere. Non gluten-free hush puppies were out of this world along with chowder and fried trout and okra.

Yikes. Don’t even know where to start. Long story short - don’t come here. We waited over an hour and a half for our food and after that we walked out. Never typically leave reviews for restaurants but this was an exception because it was so bad. I mean the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. We kept getting different excuses from the waiter and the manager. At one point it was that “gluten free pizza takes longer” (which has never been a hold up in the past at Mellow), another time it was “the kitchen made your orders wrong,” and the third time it was “the kitchen lost your ticket and your order hasn’t been made.” After over an hour and a half of waiting and the server asking us our order again and getting the order wrong on the ticket, we decided to leave. Manager and waiter never seemed to care that we had been waiting over an hour and a half, there was no sympathy or apologies, and they were rude. Exceptionally bad customer service. Other tables were waiting for their food and the food pick up section had a large amount of people waiting a long time too. So don’t count on pick up being timely either. Understand delays can happen because of staff shortage and busy hours, but the restaurant was half empty and tons of servers standing around. None of our group will be coming back. Highly recommend you don’t go here or if you really want Mellow Mushroom to visit the Cary or Durham location.

Great spot if you’re gluten free! We ordered take out and when I talked to them on the phone about celiac they were very knowledgeable and accommodating! Lots of options! I had a gluten free grilled chicken sandwich and a house salad. The gf bun was great and the grilled chicken was also very good! My (gluten eating) boyfriend got the cheese steak sandwich and enjoyed it (he’s from Philly)

I love this place. I've been here a few times and I like it more the more I visit. The food options are numerous for me (Gluten allergy) and I'm all about organic foods. They are also very conscious of allergies and accommodate accordingly. The staff is friendly and playful, too! They clearly care about the principles of this place. And atmosphere is nothing special, but gets the job done. 5 stars for sustainability though, with their steel cutlery and plates. Come check it out! Totally worth it.

I love the vibe! The inside is super cute with a very pretty floor, they also sell cute clothes to go with the amazing ice cream! I have a gluten sensitivity and having it makes me very sick, so it was great to find a place that is gluten free! They also are dairy free which means my vegan friend could also try this amazing place! I tried the butter pecan and cinnamon sugar swirl, both were great! Very creamy, good scoops, and neither flavor was overpowering! The waffle cone..oh my god it was delicious! It was like eating a graham cracker!!! But with the waffle cone texture!

Amazing savory and sweet crepes, and best of all for me, all are available in gluten free. We discovered this restaurant when we visited UNCW with our son, and now that he is a student there, we make sure to visit Our Crepes & More whenever we’re in town. My favorites are the Monte-Cristo savory and the Mont-Blanc sweet, but really, we’ve enjoyed everything we’ve tried.

Amazing menus that you would not know was over 90% gluten free. This is how it should be done. Most people just go here because the food is great, and those of us who can’t eat at most restaurants can just be like a normal customer here.

The best place for GF eats!! Everything on the menu can be made gluten-free except for the mac & cheese! The owner’s daughter is gluten-free, so she wanted to make a place where everyone felt safe eating! Fried chicken tenders, fried flounder, barbecue, hot dogs, fried pickles, fried okra! Cake! They have it all! Separate prep area and fryers!

They have a small selection of sugar free options as well which is amazing!! The first time in 6 years I was able to have a waffle cone that was gluten free! The flavors are absolutely amazing! Our waitress was Kate and she was fantastic! She recommended the fried chicken which we got in two different dishes and it was delicious (and gluten free). Yanni Bistro is truly a hidden gem in Matthews, NC. I’ve been here a few times before and always loved their food—especially the salads, which are consistently fresh and flavorful. And let’s not forget the gingersnaps. It seems like every time I visit, they’re generously offering complimentary gingersnaps. Today, I stopped in on a whim during my day off and ordered a lavender latte with almond milk and a gluten-free BLT. I decided to sit outside, soaking in the minimalist decor and letting the sound of birdsong become the soundtrack to my morning. Then something unexpected and lovely happened—the owner brought my BLT out to me personally and struck up a conversation. What started as a quick meal turned into a 30-minute, soul-filling talk about food, wellness, and the importance of clean ingredients. I learned that everything on the menu is sourced locally from the farmers market next door, and I could genuinely feel his passion and care behind every bite. Yanni Bistro gets 10 out of 5 stars for their incredible customer service, peaceful atmosphere, and commitment to healthy, locally-sourced ingredients. They also offer fantastic gluten-free and vegan options, which is a huge plus. If you’re in the area—go. Take yourself on a breakfast date. You might just leave with more than a full belly.

Really nice outdoor seating space, and the crab cake sandwich I had was fantastic. What I appreciated most is when I had questions about ingredients in some of the dishes, the cook came out and talked to me and made sure I ordered something completely gluten free. The Crown Restaurant Brasstown is a true gem. The restaurant was recommended to us by an acquaintance and it did not disappoint. It is a quaint restaurant with amazing views, food and service. My husband and I have found our new favorite restaurant. I’m Celiac and can’t have gluten, dairy or egg. The whole restaurant is gluten free and have many vegan options as well. It is really hard for me to find “safe” places to eat. The food was AMAZING!!! Megan was our server and by the end of the evening we felt as if we had a new friend. She was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Megan even wrote down the name of a cookbook for me to try with gluten free and vegan options. Try out The Crown Restaurant! Trust me, it will be your new favorite place too! Also, make sure to ask for Megan and you will have great service and you’ll make a new friend!
