They offer a dedicated gluten-free menu, a separate fryer, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable about cross-contamination. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food in a great setting!

Very nice dining atmosphere at this venue and there was an acoustic music gig as well on Halloween. There's a gluten free menu too which is great. Overall, the service was very friendly, especially from Mallory the waitress who served me. The shop could be stocked with a wider variety of souvenir items though.

Unfortunately this restaurant contaminates all its deep fryers with Halloumi cheese (they deep fry it, even in the fryer reserved for Gluten Free food) which means anyone with a dairy allergy or dairy intolerance cannot eat their fish and chips without becoming ill. Such a shame they do not operate good cross contamination practice.

Adapted gluten-free breakfasts, without contamination. They give you gluten-free bread if you want and the menu says what does NOT contain gluten. Celiacs, you can have breakfast in peace, my celiac wife was not contaminated.

As a coeliac, it can be really scary ordering food as you are never sure if you will be really ill for days afterwards. I've just had the best experience with the lovely manager of the Silverburn branch. Its so good to speak to someone who understands how important it is to get it right. What a great place!!!!!! Admittedly I prejudged the place as it looked too "chainy" and didn't think it'd be good. Thanks to a work lunch I've been introduced to this place, and it's great!!! There are loads of options and filling combinations available -which are REALLY delicious! I look forward to going back and trying need things. You basically select a main, add a filling (or two) and then lots of different toppings! Even better; there are gluten free options available; rice bowl and nachos Staff were absolutely lovely, down to earth, friendly and helpful Freshmex started out in Aberdeen and this is their next branch, great to see! I'm a new fan now and look forward to my next visit Price wise I think it's good; ~£12 for nachos and a drink.

Went in today on a rare trip into Edinburgh & it started pouring down five mins away so we entered soggy & I now know this dress goes see-through in the rain! We got there a few mins before the end of breakfast service so ordered drinks and waited for the lunch time to start (there was some confusion on both our side and the server about the food ordering and when we asked another server he explained then saw to us personally even though it was Natalia’s section. I would like to reiterate we were not complaining about Natalia’s service it was just cross wires) I ordered the vegan burger (beetroot and bean on the menu but they’d ran out and replaced with with a soy burger which they informed me of before ordering) The vegan burger is cooked in the same fryer as the chips so gluten free vegans need to look elsewhere on the menu. Hub had peperoni pizza and ordered extra fries which I managed to help him eat. I know - such a chore 😎 The gent who helped us explained there was a bit of a wait for food because whenever it rains everyone rushes in at once and whilst it good for them the kitchen can get backed up. It was about another 10-15 mins before we could order but then the food came out in normal time afterwards. They automatically add a 12.5% tip which they say is discretionary but the service was fab, they both did two check backs on us and for as busy as it was we didn’t feel neglected or ignored.

If you have allergies be wary. Both me and my friend are coeliac (cannot eat gluten). Manager was clear with what can be eaten however our order was taken wrong and we received the wrong food. After this was sent back and we got the correct dishes (which took an hour…), we had our meal which was okay. Sadly, we have both had contamination issues since. Would not recommend for people with dietary restrictions/allergies.

No draught Peroni anymore and when I was given the alternative bottle of same, discovered it was Gluten-free. There's a worrying trend of venues on the west coast of Scotland deciding for whatever reason to stop selling draught Peroni and it makes me sad

We had a great experience at this TGI Fridays. Alisdair was our waiter for the evening and did a brilliant job helping my mum find gluten free options that went with her allergies. He called in the manager to help her place a special tailor made order. Next to that he made us feel welcome and was happy to answer all of our questions. Coming from the Netherlands this location isn't easy to revisit, but if I'm ever nearby I'll definitely visit again.

Great cafe with classic range of meals on offer. Good choice of gluten free dishes including gf bread, gf batter for fish and chips and a couple of cake options. Would recommend and nice spot to sit in the sun whilst waiting for the ferry

Finding somewhere to eat with a Coeliac can be challenging, so we looked up the menu and allergen information before we went. My daughter was excited to see on the website that she could have a burger with a gluten-free bun. She was given a book with all the allergen information to use alongside the menu, which was really helpful. However, when she ordered the burger with gluten-free bun, she was told that they never have the gluten-free buns at the restaurant. She was disappointed but opted for the hunter's chicken with mash instead. I ordered steak and the steak itself was beautiful - a good size and cooked perfectly for my taste. It's a shame that the peas that came with it were inedible as they were far too overcooked. The food was good overall, but the toilets need a refresh and some toilet roll. It was also disappointing to be sat in the family dining area as our children are mature teenagers, though on the plus side it was quiet because we were eating later and for most of our meal we were the only table in that part of the restaurant.

Very disappointing! After asking for gluten free, the lady behind the counter took the point to joke about this, then went on to get the order wrong, even though I had only asked for a plain cheese wrap. I was then given the plain cheese wrap only to discover when back in the car the wrap was not gluten free! Shocking experience, and left feeling embarrassed as the counter was very busy with customers.

Lovely menu with most dishes gluten free. Very amiable and attentive staff. We went on Saturday prior to a matinee at the Tron Theatre so had the pre-theatre menu which is very reasonable. Music is played at a suitable volume to allow you to chat without having to raise your voice! Ideal location for the theatre too.

We had the meal for two takeaway (£22.95 August 2023) and we were definitely not disappointed. Loads of food of extremely good quality. The large lumps of chicken and lovely sauces (none too overpowering) made for an excellent meal. The kitchen even put what was gluten free and what wasn't (my wife is gluten intolerant) on ever dish. The staff are super friendly and the restaurant looked very clean and comfortable. If we visit this area again we are definitely going to order from them again. Thank you.

Popped in for a catch-up with my neice. Staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. Prices are reasonable. I like how the menu is marked in colour dots for gluten-free. Much appreciated as its hard to navigate otherwise, but they have a separate menu on request if required for easy reading.

The new chef was amazing! Catered to us with gluten allergies and was even able to have the chicken carbonara ! It’s was delicious . Going back for gf fish and chips this weekend , as the chef said his kitchen should be better stocked to accommodate most things on the menu as GF. Winner winner chicken dinner!
