One of the best gluten free sushi places I have found. They have a big gf section of the menu, plus really good teriyaki sauce that is too. One of the main things we go here for is the gf salad dressing.
The sushi rolls were decent, but the fish was great on the nigiri.

We came in for lunch during our layover and had Sheila as our waitress and she was amazing!!! I have a gluten allergy and she was incredibly knowledgeable and walked me through all the options and made sure I had plenty of GF soy sauce! It’s always hard to find safe options while traveling but having her to guide me through helped me feel so comfortable!
Stylish vibes and a clean atmosphere make this spot a go-to for takeout and tasty dishes that keep patrons coming back for more.

I was visiting from Seattle and went to SOMI. We were seated quickly. Our server wasn't the warmest, but she did her job and got us served. There was a really nice server at the table across from us and he was very friendly and even said hello to us with a big smile, so he made up for that. SOMI offered gluten free choices, so we started with the Crispy Spring Rolls and they were delicious. My daughter and I had the Grass Fed Wagyu Pho (GF) and my son-in-law had one with the meatballs and other meats in it. The broth was nice. The portions of meat and noodles were smaller than the Pho restaurants in Seattle, but it was enough. The ingredients were fresh. The garnish plate didn't have a lot of sprouts, basil, etc. to split between 3 people and there was only one lime on the plate, but I'm sure we could have asked for more. Taking a look around, everyone seemed content, the large parties were being served well and the restaurant was almost full. Our meal hit the spot. It wasn't overly loud, so we could hear one another speak. We were in and out quickly. I'll probably not be in Salt Lake City any time soon, but if I were, I'd eat there again.
A go-to spot for flavorful dishes with natural ingredients, plus easy parking and solid meals at a decent price!

This is my safe food place for when my stomach hurts haha. The ingredients are natural and chicken and rice are easy on the stomach. I'm gluten free and their teriyaki sauce is delicious, I usually ask for an extra cup of it. Easy parking and friendly employees.

Been going to this tsunami location for over 20 years. The quality has always been top notch. I'm also a mom with the Celiac kid, so tsunami is always been a safe place for us to enjoy dinner together.

My husband and I ate here for our anniversary. Every single thing we ate was delicious and the service was great. Couldn’t be happier with the experience. Can’t wait to come back!
Also I’m gluten free and they did have a gluten free menu and were able to accommodate changes to any specials I ordered to make it gluten free.
Craft your own sushi burrito with fresh ingredients while sipping on delicious boba tea; it's a fun and tasty experience despite nearby construction.

It's like Chipotle, but for poké. I like building my own sushi burrito and getting a boba tea. They offer raw, seared and cooked fish/meat. They offer gluten-free sauce options and are very helpful if you have no idea what you want to create. I was very overwhelmed the first time I went, but after the second time I knew what to do and what flavors I wanted. They were very friendly each time I have come with my family. The fish is fresh and the boba is fantastic. Don't be thrown off by the construction going on, they are open!

I have always loved this place for Pho! I know that’s not what they’re known for, but it is excellent. My husband was just diagnosed with Celiac disease and they were accommodating to his gluten allergy and had multiple options and were willing to answer our questions. The person that helped us was G and we are very grateful!
Delicious dishes with fresh veggies in a casual setting, but the atmosphere needs a little TLC; expect a small card payment surcharge.

Food is always good. Atmosphere could be improved its cold and dirty. They have good gluten free and vegetarian options. Expect a 0.56 noncash surcharge for card payment. Prices a bit high for type of food.

We love Ekamai. Very friendly for gluten-free eating - we love that they are so fluent in this and can make almost anything on the menu gf. In addition, the staff is friendly, the service is great, the food is good, the portions and prices are very good. It's casual - nothing fancy, but a nice place to eat. In addition there is an outdoor patio & they even let our dog sit with us during dinner on the patio one evening. We're pretty loyal to Ekamai for Thai food in Salt Lake.
I've been here several times, but this is my first review for Tosh's. The first few times, I was just so happy to get real ramen, so I wasn't being judgy. Now good ramen is easier to find, and SLC has some great options. Tosh's is still a solid choice, but the obsessive attention to detail is gone, and we are left with good simple ramen. The noodles are excellent, and there are non-traditional options for those of you that don't actually like ramen or think that gluten is the devil. I had the miso ramen this time, which was nice, but light on miso flavor...more like 80% tonkotsu, 20% miso. I got extra chashu, and I'd say don't bother...better to get an extra eggcellent egg. I got nori, and it must not be a popular pick, cuz it was stale. The menma was yummy! I'm not sure if I will go back...it might be worth the drive to Draper for a better bowl.
A lively spot popular for its flavorful sake and late-night accommodations, albeit bit affected by 'shrinkflation' lately.

Not gluten-free friendly. They have “gluten-free” noodles but if you have celiacs disease you’re best to stay clear. 10/10 would recommend Jinyas ramen for the flavor and how it’s filling. Ambience is great.
Innovative self-ordering and a vibrant atmosphere set the stage for some of the best ramen in town, leaving diners eager to return!

Food is great. My main complaint is the gluten free noodles I got for my wife were not good, the texture was off on them. If they buy them we’d recommend Lotus gf ramen noodles. I did wait for like 5-10 minutes just standing there waiting to pickup my to go order, it was crazy busy though.

Yellowfinn is a Sugar House gem serving exquisite Japanese food in an environment that exudes major neighborhood pub energy. I don't recall ever feeling more at home or authentically welcomed to a place on my first visit.
The menu is about 80% gluten free, so it makes it easy for diners with those issues.
I recommend the hamachi nigiri, Utah roll and tempura banana for dessert. The creamesicle saketini is perfect.
This is a place you need to try.
Experience a top-notch sushi bar with unique special nigiri and sashimi in a cozy setting that’s quickly become a local favorite.

I had very high hopes after hearing about Kyoto. For years it has had a great reputation. Perhaps it’s just their teriyaki and tempura that is so highly spoken about…or maybe they just don’t have good gluten free sushi roll options. But we were very disappointed in the 4 specialty rolls we got. It’s also probably not fair that we just ate a few days ago at Uchi in Austin which is a totally different high end class of sushi. But we were disappointed all the same. The nigiri ocean trout was excellent, but I would rate all 4 of the rolls we got as below average (even for gluten free). We got the Kinkaku roll, Ichigo roll, Mai Zuru roll, and the Geisha roll.
We also gave the chocolate sushi roll a try for dessert. I wouldn’t recommend it either. The chocolate shell needed to be darker, and it had what tasted like Hersheys syrup on it, and the raspberries were overpowered by an overly sweet raspberry syrup.
I wouldn’t get them again. It’s a better bet in my opinion to go to Takashi, Tsunami, and even Itto.

This is our go-to place every Monday when we are in office! They have so many options, great prices, great quality, and they are all so friendly! We have been going here on repeat ever since we found them a few months ago! Definitely recommend trying them out; you will be hooked!
Oh!!! And MOST of their items are gluten friendly and they have a list right where you order! Huge bonus for those of us who need it! It means a lot that they care!
A memorable spot with a fun, unique atmosphere, offering specialty drinks and take-home items, though some found the noise level a bit high.

This is not the kind of restaurant I would normally visit, but because it is my brother's favorite (and we were celebrating his birthday), I decided to give it a try.
Myself and multiple people in our party need to eat gluten-free and one vegetarian. I was a little nervous about regular soy sauce getting into my dish, but our chef Quinn went great lengths to ensure that everyone had food that was safe for them to eat. They were sensitive to the birthday boy not wanting to be sung to, and made sure everyone was comfortable and felt included.
They have a gluten friendly menu available on their website (helpful for me to be able to check it out ahead of time). I ordered the Ocean Treasure, and everything was absolutely delicious.
I will say that this place gets LOUD. I have a neurodivergent kiddo that is very sensitive to loud noises, so I was glad we brought their noise dampening headphones. Without them, they would have found the noise level unbearable.
Overall, this was a very pleasant experience. If anyone from management is reading this, give Quinn a raise. They made all the difference!

They CupBop location is super chill and quaint. The staff was really nice and helpful. The K Dawg was delicious. My son loved the cornflakes and ketchup on his dog! The Noodle Bop was yummy and just right for someone with gluten sensitivity.

Our server was very helpful when suggesting gluten-free options. We ordered vegetable lettuce wraps and fried rice. The food was excellent, the portions were substantial, and the prices were very reasonable.
Really tasty food. Some of the menu is gluten free. The server takes you seriously, even if they don’t know off the top of their head and have to go ask the chef

The server was friendly. But my husband and I ordered all you can eat sushi, and it took quite a long time for the first helping. In fact, I had to ask at the front desk where our food was. The sushi itself was good, though it seemed room temperature, neither cold nor hot (for the "seared" pieces).
My daughter and her friends thoroughly enjoyed their hot pot meals. But it continued to take quite long for our sushi orders to appear, and there was a 2-hour limit on sushi orders. Is it on purpose that it takes forever to be served sushi orders, so that one cannot eat much sushi in that time frame? Also, our drink refills tended to take a long time as well.
I want to give this place a good rating...it's hot pot feature seems very well run, but the sushi side needs work. Also, offering more gluten-free and dairy-free options would be nice.

Best wings in the area hands down. Seasoned well and crispy. You can tell they brine their wings because the meat inside is tender/ flavorful.. I got the cumin wings by staff recommendation..
House beef rice noodle soup was good, spicy tangy broth, beef was tender. I would recommend the regular noodles tasted better than the rice noodle but I do appreciate that there is gluten free rice noodle options.
Service was good and the ambiance was casual. I appreciate the lemon infused water. I will definitely come back for the wings and maybe try a different style noodle.

Awesome environment and staff, however their Pho is not good. The chicken tasted like it was from a can, they don’t have any veggies to add on or gluten free sauces. Overall probably fine but a bit or a let down. The broth was excellent tho. Also you order and pay your self.
They came and checked on me and made it right and said they are working on improving. Very impressed
Delicious. Great atmosphere. Fantastic service. The chef made a separate batch special for my friend who eats gluten free. I would recommend to anyone who likes Japanese fare.
My go-to Chinese take-out place! The food is always so good, fast, a great price, and I love all the customizations they offer (gluten free, brown rice, spice level, etc.). Best Chinese in Salt Lake!

Poke bowl, sake nigiri, Avenue roll, spicy salmon roll, spicy Hama roll, and Hamachi sashimi. The poke bowl is a great value, with lots of fish. They even included gluten-free soy sauce :) The food was delicious.
The food was delicious! I requested gluten free noodles and they actually had some, most Ramen places don’t, they were very tasty. The service was fast. The menu had options everyone liked including our picky kid. We have eaten at a lot of Ramen places and I don’t always like them but this One is tasty with Modern decor and is my new favorite. We will definitely come back.
