Gluten restriction or not, this place did not disappoint with food or drinks! Service was also some of the best. Wish I could remember our server's name because he was awesome and knowledgeable of the menu.

It's a sports bar, busy and loud during happy hour. Great food and plenty of options for my partner with celiac disease (who is very concerned about cross contamination and staff are knowledgable)

Delicious multi-course lunch with creative and tasty food. Loved the Roma salad, calamari and salmon entree - all perfectly prepared. The gluten-free pizza was excellent - one of the best I’ve tried! Lovely space and warm service.

I was just diagnosed with Celiac and looking for a place in Toronto that takes celiac seriously and doesn’t cross contaminate. Normally it’s hard to find places that taste good and do this, but I was so happy to find this spot! The food was unreal and Sandra explained the menu and was such a great server. Highly recommend!

Dave's Genuine is comfort food—pure and simple—especially if you grew up eating deli sandwiches, or Kosher favorites like matzoh ball soup. The turkey club is probably my favorite sandwich of all time, and Dave's Genuine makes a killer one. Best of all, it can be made gluten-free—safe for someone who has Celiac disease, like me. In fact, Dave's Genuine makes a real effort to accommodate gluten allergies because the owner's daughter also has Celiac, so he understands the ins and outs of cross contamination. In my most recent order, Dave's even sent me a free batch of fries with a kind note on it, promising they're prepared separately and fried in their own GF fryer. After trying these fries for the first time—crispy and light, by the way—I knew I needed to write this review. The customer service here is truly impeccable, and so is the quality of the food. Pro-tip: Try the smoked meat, it's insanely good.

The food excellent. We ordered two dishes of amatriciana pasta and they were excellent. One of the pastas we ordered was gluten-free (handmade) and it is one of the best gluten-free pastas we have tried. The service was very attentive and the restaurant is very nice and had a very comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.

Absolutely love eating here, the vibe is amazing and the staff are top tier! The food and atmosphere are so unique and as a Gluten Free Vegan who doesn't drink, trust me when I say this is a haven.
I have been a few times so I have tried most of the food. Alot of the menu is already edible for me as is, but the majority of the menu can be accommodated to a vegan and/or gluten free diet which is amazing. The mocktails are equally fantastic.
Watching the chefs at work in the open kitchen is the best, and the Management team and Madison in Events are always the most generous and accommodating. If you are so lucky to have service from Joseph, you will leave a very happy and full man!

This place has a fabulous vibe right from the get go! Decor is rustic & eclectic, & there's much to catch your eye....like trees! The menu has pasta (no gf) & pizza (gf/vegan options), accompanied by lots of drink selections. We ordered 1 gluten free pizza, 1 gluten/dairy free pizza, & one regular pizza. I have a load of allergies & the server - Ceci - was very accommodating & knowledgeable about what the kitchen could do for me. We were super impressed! All the pizzas were amazing (like the best gf pizza in the city imho) & my husband polished off the whole regular pizza himself it was so good! We can't say enough about Ceci (& Mark) as they really took good care of us! We highly recommend Bar Poet, especially for the pizza & beer special!! Can't wait to go again! PS - we were able to get a photo with no one in it bc we came in right at open on a mega snowy Monday!

Had a work night dinner with some out of country guests and oh my goodness did this restaurant went above and beyond. Attentive service, fully could accommodate the menu for each dietary allergy (dairy and gluten), and had an amazing variety of options from land sea and farm. A bit of a spend but it was worth it for a lovely night out, and the ambiance was divine.

My first time at Chop/Dixon Road - met a friend arriving from UK for a stop over en route to the Islands - both the food and service were just outstanding! Our server Dieter could not have been more attentive and accommodating (as were all the staff there - just lovely warm folks) and the manager (sorry I think it was Brian/Ryan) was so kind in acknowledging my diet restriction by a sampling of gluten free amuse- bouche - just a wonderful dining experience and evening - thank you to all at Chop/Dixon Road (including the kitchen perfect steak/salmon/ yummy salads and the truffle mash is to die for!!) I hope to return again even though I live downtown - SO GOOD!!! Guess I'll have to visit the Downtown and Burlington locations now - CHOP DIXON ROCKS on all counts - highly recommend for any occasion- SO GOOD - okay I said that already lol - and the Agave non alcoholic herb cocktail is so refreshingly tasty KUDOS to all - my palate thanks you!
Great vibes on a busy night, with attentive service that anticipates your needs and plenty of options for diverse diets.

We enjoyed the fixed dinner menu which had great choices and was a very fair price! The risotto was our favourite (my boyfriend had the tagliatelle salsiccia which was well done just not "AMAZING!"). The orange polenta cake was gorgeous and on a vegetarian & gluten free diet I still had so many choices. Cocktails were beautiful and unique also. We will be back!
This was, without a doubt, both the best meal I've had out and the best service I've had since discovering I have a gluten allergy. Our waitress Kate was fantastic, checking in with the kitchen regarding alternatives and substitutions to accomodate me so I could enjoy the items I wanted without worrying about getting sick.
Kate herself and several other employees stopped by our table to assure me that they'd taken every step to guarantee no gluten would touch my food, and took the time to ensure myself and the rest of my family didn't have any other allergies they should be aware of.
It was the best prime rib I've had! The meat was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned, letting the beef shine through. Literally have been craving this dish for years but I tend to avoid eating out because of how difficult It can be to find safe food.
Everyone I was with enjoyed their meal immensely and hours later, all we can talk about is how fantastic everything was from the moment we walked in to the moment we left.
Kate was even kind enough to tell me to never apologize for having an allergy. It's the first time I've ever felt comfortable at a restaurant even asking to be accommodated - and I will say my family did speak up on my behalf at first, as I usually just avoid asking entirely.
Overall it was a lovely experience and I would love to go back to this specific location solely for the staff even though it's one of the ones further away from me.
Cozy vibe with a heated patio, perfect for sharing a sampler platter and creative cocktails, plus a commitment to fair wages makes it a must-visit!

We enjoyed the Rendez-Vous Meat Combination plate/platter with a gluten free injera. It was absolutely delicious with nice spice if you like alittle heat. It was nice to also eat with your hands. The customer service was good; our server took the time to explain the options that we didn't understand.

Definitely a little pricier. Customer service was great our server was very kind. The food was okay, it was a little bland in my opinion but I’m not an avid eater of Mexican food. Hot House Restaurant in the St.Lawrence Market stands out as one of Toronto's most popular dining spots, renowned for its exceptional food, vibrant and spacious ambiance, and impeccable service. The menu is a delightful mix of international flavors, featuring gourmet pizzas, succulent steaks, pasta dishes, seasonal salads, and decadent desserts. The extensive vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options cater to diverse dietary needs, making it a top choice for all diners. The Frutti Di Mare, Sunday brunch buffet, and expertly crafted ribs are notable recomendations. My favourite as a vegetarian is their Winterlicous menu of imaginative dishes as pictured from the last one, of Tuscany Farro Soup, Vegetable Kebabs and Cardamom Olive Cake. I'm looking forward to the next.
The ambiance is equally impressive, with spacious, colorfully decorated interiors and a sunlit 150-seat patio perfect for enjoying fine Italian wines or Canadian craft beers. Whether it’s a heatwave or a chilly evening, the restaurant provides a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
Attentive and friedly staff go the extra mile to accommodate guests, including handling dietary restrictions with care.
Located in the heart of Toronto at 35 Church Street at Front, Hot House is steps away from local landmarks like St. Lawrence Market. With street and nearby parking available, it’s a convenient and memorable spot for any occasion, which I recommend.
Unfortunately, this restaurant is unable to accommodate non-standard restrictions (I am dairy and gluten free). I expect more if I am paying for a chef to make a meal. The atmosphere is very loud without the more quiet, private atmosphere of other Kegs I have been to. The wait was also atrocious.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with impeccable flavors and attentive service that elevate your dining experience to another level.

I went to CRAFT Beer last week and had an amazing experience! Our server, Gabby, was absolutely fantastic—attentive, friendly, and super knowledgeable about the menu. If you're looking for a place with quality food and amazing staff look no further. Our server was a gem and made sure that we knew all of our options in detail. He even brought out gluten free crackers for me without me asking. I've never had someone do that but it's the little details like that which set this restaurant apart. I ordered a gluten free pasta and my boyfriend got a pizza. Both were delicious! Their chocolate mousse is the perfect balance of decadent and light. Celiac safe! Such a cozy environment with amazing artwork on the walls and really wool bar wall. The wait staff explained clearly their process of how they are careful about cross-contamination when it comes to gluten.
I started with their guacamole and cornchips, which was so tasty. Then came the brazed ribs with corn tortillas to create your own tacos. Chefs kiss. It was amazing.

The pizza is making me write this review. Wow. I had the vegan gluten free pizza and they nailed it. From the dough to the cheese, I was impressed. They have a wood burning oven also so you know it's legit. Peter/Dieter was our server and was super friendly and helpful with our group. We had an amazing time celebrating a 40th birthday here. First time diners, based on a recommendation from a friend, and we were not disappointed. The dining space is beautiful, and despite being busy, it was easy to converse with our dining companions. The cocktails offered on the regular menu and a specials menu, were also amazing and highly recommended! The food was phenomenal to say the least. Every option on the Pitmaster’s platter was flavourful and delicious. The service staff were knowledgeable about a noted gluten allergy - they advised which sauces were not gluten free, served the gluten containing fried chicken option from the Pitmaster’s platter separately, and offered an alternative side salad to fries (which are cooked in a shared fryer). We were grateful for their expertise which contributed to another safe and delicious dining experience. We will definitely dine here again!

Delicious food, with gluten free options available. We sat on the heated patio with a group of 5. The service was great but after sitting there for a while it was cold if you weren't sitting under/right beside the heater. The flour less chocolate cake was very delightful and overall a nice place to have dinner with friends. PARKING WAS A HASTLE. We went around 7:15 and there was nowhere to park I drove around for 15 minutes before finding street parking that was a decent walk away.
Had dinner here with my spouse after a visit to the gallery. Came without a reservation but they had quite a few empty tables, probably because of the holidays. My partner has some dietary constraints (gluten, dairy) and they were very accommodating. We both had fish, the Branzino @$26 And the prix fixe menu with halibut at $45. Both mains were excellent, the cabbage roll appetizer a bit ordinary, but the apple tart dessert was superb. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Total without wine came to $92.49 plus tip. Worth every penny.
Experience vibrant energy and top-notch service in a lively setting, perfect for celebrating special moments with friends and family.

I recently visited The Keg on Airport Road, Mississauga, near the airport, and it was quite an experience. The ambiance was lovely, and the location was easy to get to with ample parking at the back.
We were greeted pleasantly at the door, which set the tone for the evening. While waiting for our table, there was plenty of space to stand around comfortably, and the cucumber water available was a nice touch. Although I wasn’t initially pleased with the area we were to be seated, the staff kindly prepared a booth for us without any fuss, which I appreciated.
As for the food, I decided to try the new menu item: duck. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The outside was crispy, but the inside was dry. The server was understanding and had it removed from the bill, but the accompanying sauce didn’t help either. The lobster tail was also overcooked and too salty, so I don’t plan to order it again.
On a positive note, the steak was excellent, which is what The Keg is known for. Pair it with the twice-baked potato for a great meal.
The garlic Mashed potatoes was also very good.
The wings to start was very good. If you can handle a little spice go for it.
The bathrooms could use some upgrades, , and touchless faucets would be a good improvement.
Despite some drawbacks, I enjoyed the ambiance and overall vibes. They offer a lot of gluten-free options for main courses, and I’d definitely return for another dining experience.
I ordered takeout from Miku for the first time on Family Day and it will probably be my last.
I ordered the signature 12pc set and the gluten free soy sauce I requested tasted like gasoline.
The food is way too overpriced for this to happen. It ruined the whole meal.
The pieces were also way too big. It feels like they are catering to North American expectations of ‘the bigger the better’ but it is very off putting when a roll can’t fit in your mouth. J San sushi is much better at this and their prices are much more reasonable. The pieces also didn’t seem very fresh. So disappointed.
With a focus on scratch-made dishes and a unique separate menu for dietary options, this spot offers a casual vibe but could improve service timing.

I've been to this place before and had quite a pleasurable experience. I came back for the last evening of Winterlicious. I made a reservation and they seated my self and one other person right away. It took over 25 minutes for a waiter to come check in. After one did (she apologized for the wait and said she wasn't even supposed to be our waitress) then 5 minutes later someone else came (over 30 mins total). The restaurant had some tables but it really wasn't too busy. The meal took a VERY long time to come out. The only decent thing was the Apetizers, but the food took so long to come it wasnt worth sending it back and waiting for more. The dessert did come quickly. Both meals were plain and tasted like nothing special. They were able to accommodate for a gluten allergy. I was disappointed since I have had such good experiences there before.

I picked this place to satisfy a variety of dietary preferences in my party, including gluten-free and vegetarian. Food was excellent, it didn't seem very customizable though, because some things were pre-made, but I will say, it tasted good and there were a lot of options anyway. Prices were decent, cheaper than other options for dining out, but the portions seemed a bit on the smaller side...not ridiculously small, just a bit below what I'd expect. Service was friendly, parking a small hassle. I'd definitely return, but not if I was starving.

It was my first time visiting the Keg. We had a lovely time. Our server was Anna, and she was really sweet. The service was excellent. I also appreciated that they have gluten-free options, and their pistachio salmon was cooked to perfection. We were there on game day, so it was a bit loud; otherwise, I had a pretty good experience and will return.
