I ordered from JP Pastry’s as a gift for my aunt who’s gluten-free, and she absolutely loved every single treat! It can be tough to find gluten-free baked goods that actually taste good, but she couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was—especially the cinnamon rolls. The ordering process was super easy and convenient. I also noticed how many people mention the kind, thoughtful service—and I experienced that firsthand. The team really seems to care, and that makes a big difference. Bonus points for being a dog-friendly bakery! I’ll definitely be ordering again—whether for my aunt or myself!

Holy smokes, Batman! As someone who often struggles to find great food options (especially gluten-free), Irregardless blew me away. Our waitress—whose name I regretfully forgot, and it’s not on my receipt—was phenomenal. I told her I was torn between a few choices, and she confidently recommended the Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich (GF). Honestly? One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in over 12 years. Crispy, flavorful, and totally worth the hype. 🌱 They accommodate a ton of dietary restrictions. 🍽️ Portion sizes? Generous. 🌿 Food? Incredibly fresh and delicious. 🏡 Location? Adorable. 🚗 Parking? A bit tricky, but it’s the only “meh” part. 🪑 Inside? Cozy, charming, and quiet enough to actually enjoy a conversation. If you are GF, this is the place; everything is gluten-free. We happened upon the summer menu filled with fresh ingredients. Highly recommend the cheddar biscuits, the beet appetizer, the braised short ribs, finished with the chocolate torte. Unique selection of cocktails, and the wine menu is extensive. My glass of Malbec was very good. Service was attentive, personable, yet not always in your space. Highly recommend!

English and Spanish: I have been to this restaurant several times and have loved it every time! They are allergy-friendly, 100% gluten-free, and are willing to make accommodations. They have this vegan cilantro sauce that is phenomenal. I’ve gotten the vegan beyond arepa with avacados, lettuce, and Fritos. The rice and beans (the beans depend on who is making it; there have been some inconsistencies there), but everything else is good. I also love their fresh juices. I was so excited to try Burtons with their huge gluten free menu, but I was really disappointed. I ordered an appetizer of the bread and it was so tough and dry. Still, I was excited for my entree. I ordered a warm lobster roll with fries. The fries were AMAZING. I actually have a hard time finding good GF fries but theirs were fantastic—which is why I gave 2 stars. The lobster was okay but the bun was pretty gross. The whole thing was just dry and not flavorful at all. The service was not good either :( I got 1 refill after eating most of my meal without a drink (except the table water), and we sat there for 30 minutes waiting to pay. Hopefully today was just an off day for them but based on my experience today, I don’t recommend it.

I hired Neomonde to cater two back-to-back parties I was hosting this June (for 75 and 25 people, respectively.) I chose them because I have always liked their food and they were recommended by a friend whose event Neomonde catered back in 2020. Neomonde did an excellent job, and they will be my go-to caterer if I need one in the future. First (and no surprise) the food was excellent and my guests raved about it. The buffet presentation was lovely too. In addition, the catering manager Saida was a delight to work with, and made everything as easy as possible for me. This included suggesting great options on a tasting menu, helping me figure out how much food to order, answering my many questions about logistics (ice, buffet space and set up, how much wine/beer to have, sustainable utensils, gluten-free options, etc etc etc), and managing the set up and tear down of the buffet and packaging all the leftovers for me (yum.) Saida’s support was especially helpful to me as I had never hosted events of that size or complexity before. I highly recommend Neomonde!

The best gluten free burger bun I’ve ever had!!! It was a seeded bun so it had great flavor and was soft and didn’t fall apart at all. The gf chicken nuggets were also delicious paired with the cheer wine bbq sauce. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable!!

Fantastic gluten free menu! Definitely recommend the hush puppies and Boat Entree's. All dessert is gluten free and they even have gluten free beer which unfortunately wasn't available the day I went, but usually is.

This Mellow has a 70s disco theme. It was dark but so many bright colors. The food was delicous as always, and their gluten-free crust is always a hit for my daughter. Service was good, slow at times, but that is because it was between busy hours and servers get distracted as new employees come in. Young being young.

Incredible! So many gluten free options, marked clearly on the menu. And FANTASTIC gluten free key lime pie! The owner, Nelson, made sure we knew how much they cared about making an affordable and safe GF dining experience. Loved the ambience and the food; the burger was one of the best I've ever had and the gf bun was soooo fluffy! They give you a FREE cookie at the end and the gf cookie was actually soft and not crumbly. I cried a little I was so excited. I will be back!

Very good burgers, with gluten free options both for buns and for sides. The medium rare beef burger just melts in your mouth, and the gluten free chicken tenders and tater tots are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The wait is also quick, we've been here twice and got our food within 10 minutes. We ate our food before I could remember to take photos, so here's the clean plate club. They also have a rewards club that offers free burgers and such, if you like app/rewards clubs.

We had salads and pizzas delivered for our large group one night. They were fast and efficient. Salads were fresh and delicious (Greek salad). The pizzas satisfied our cravings and went perfectly with the wine we had at home. Solid crust and ingredients. We had a guest that was gluten free and she was able to pick her option and enjoy a great pizza alongside everybody.

Though a little worn (and obviously well patronized), and the outside comes in.... this is a really well designed menu, fabulous staff, and the cheesecake is above the expected. I love how much is gluten free, and no questions asked about the allergy, and that the menu reflects a variety of tastebuds of well researched foodies. These are definitely not the digs of your average pub in a small town. They know their food. I recently brought a group of ladies there, and there was something for everyone. *The Greek Burger needs more sauce, but that's just me. I love Tzatziki sauce. And the Sweet Potato fries are also good with Tzatziki sauce. Thanks to the staff for quick service and accurate drinks (Unsweet tea is a huge deal for those of us with that taste bud). lots of love to Dooley's!

Yikes. Don’t even know where to start. Long story short - don’t come here. We waited over an hour and a half for our food and after that we walked out. Never typically leave reviews for restaurants but this was an exception because it was so bad. I mean the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. We kept getting different excuses from the waiter and the manager. At one point it was that “gluten free pizza takes longer” (which has never been a hold up in the past at Mellow), another time it was “the kitchen made your orders wrong,” and the third time it was “the kitchen lost your ticket and your order hasn’t been made.” After over an hour and a half of waiting and the server asking us our order again and getting the order wrong on the ticket, we decided to leave. Manager and waiter never seemed to care that we had been waiting over an hour and a half, there was no sympathy or apologies, and they were rude. Exceptionally bad customer service. Other tables were waiting for their food and the food pick up section had a large amount of people waiting a long time too. So don’t count on pick up being timely either. Understand delays can happen because of staff shortage and busy hours, but the restaurant was half empty and tons of servers standing around. None of our group will be coming back. Highly recommend you don’t go here or if you really want Mellow Mushroom to visit the Cary or Durham location.

If you’re a celiac, here’s your breakfast spot! They have a printed gluten free menu with SO MANY OPTIONS! The food was absolutely out of this world delicious, the staff were beyond kind and welcoming, the atmosphere is upbeat and fun! I have zero complaints. I’m a vegetarian, and the main menu has almost no meat-free dishes—but Winston’s actually is vegetarian friendly as long as you say something to the waiter. They have a complete alternative menu available: the front lists vegetarian and vegan dishes, and the back has gluten-free dishes. I can’t speak to the gluten-free options, but the vegan and vegetarian choices are excellent!

This place is one of my favorite spots for burgers but with a Spanish twist to it. Has a good variety of burgers and their sides of either fries with truffles, sweet potatoes, and the Mac and cheese. You can’t go wrong with those!! This place also has gluten free bread option that comes in a separate package for you to assemble, very well made and done. Delicious and Gluten free!!!

I never review restaurants but I cannot say enough good things about this place. My girlfriend and I are gluten free and it is often difficult to find a full spectrum menu of things we can eat—however, even if you aren’t gluten free—this place is incredible. From the atmosphere, to the view, to the service; even down to how the dishes are plated…everything is immaculate. The Duck Confit…I would highly recommend. Their deconstructed tiramisu for desert—amazing. Even their coffee there we got with desert…best restaurant coffee I’ve had, period. You have to check this place out. Well worth your time and money.

Yanni Bistro is truly a hidden gem in Matthews, NC. I’ve been here a few times before and always loved their food—especially the salads, which are consistently fresh and flavorful. And let’s not forget the gingersnaps. It seems like every time I visit, they’re generously offering complimentary gingersnaps. Today, I stopped in on a whim during my day off and ordered a lavender latte with almond milk and a gluten-free BLT. I decided to sit outside, soaking in the minimalist decor and letting the sound of birdsong become the soundtrack to my morning. Then something unexpected and lovely happened—the owner brought my BLT out to me personally and struck up a conversation. What started as a quick meal turned into a 30-minute, soul-filling talk about food, wellness, and the importance of clean ingredients. I learned that everything on the menu is sourced locally from the farmers market next door, and I could genuinely feel his passion and care behind every bite. Yanni Bistro gets 10 out of 5 stars for their incredible customer service, peaceful atmosphere, and commitment to healthy, locally-sourced ingredients. They also offer fantastic gluten-free and vegan options, which is a huge plus. If you’re in the area—go. Take yourself on a breakfast date. You might just leave with more than a full belly.

Snooze lives up to its fantastic name and only gets better from there. The atmosphere has a quirky diner vibe, complemented by exceptionally hospitable service. My wife ordered the Denver omelet with hash browns and gluten-free toast, and she devoured nearly all of it—which is a rare feat! I opted for the traditional eggs Benedict with hashbrowns and a side of bacon. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was one of the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had in my life! The bacon was irresistibly crave-worthy, too. Thank you, Snooze, for an outstanding experience!
