Nice quiet Cafe, Partner is Gluten free, hence the visit, definitely worth it. Gluten free Toastie and Sausage roll, Lemon Tarte and choc chip biscuits, couldn’t tell they were GF. Great little find. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby.

Is your nan gluten free? Because it was dreadful. Better not go there hungry or you will starve until they finally serve you the food. Too loud music, everyone needs to speak as if you’re inside a club… at noon and having lunch…

We usually stop here when checking out Vivid Sydney as they do gluten free savoury and sweet crepes... and serve alcohol. It's a great spot to begin checking out Vivid too with a short walk to Australia House.

Great atmosphere and location, nestled in the heart of the Sydney botanic Gardens. We had the lunch tasting menu and it was quite nice. To be honest, we were given more drinks than an actual food but overall quite a pleasant experience. Majority of the lunch menu food was gluten-free. The staff were very accommodating and had great service.

CASA is located in a beautiful and charming spot, especially during Vivid — the ambiance is lovely, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. However, a few things during our visit left us disappointed. Even with the heaters on, the place was still quite cold, which made our food cool down very quickly. The fries were overcooked, had a burnt taste, and were completely unseasoned — not even a pinch of salt. I was told there was a gluten-free bruschetta option, but no one mentioned they would replace the bread with pizza dough. That really changed the texture and flavor, and unfortunately, it wasn’t very enjoyable. The BBQ chicken pizza was another letdown. The BBQ sauce was extremely strong and tasted like a generic, store-bought version — overpowering everything else. On a positive note, the pulled pork with potatoes was absolutely delicious — definitely the highlight of the meal. I’ve been to CASA before and had a great pizza, so I know they can do better. I’m sharing this feedback hoping it helps improve the overall experience for future guests.

Pizza not safe for celiac despite the reviews on here as there is major cross contamination. Speak to staff as they are knowledgeable and were able to offer an alternative which was delicious !

Great little sandwich bar (takeaway). Gluten free bread available for no extra charge. Very good quality. Service is good too

Good place they catered to my coeliac a little bit pricy for a breakfast bowl it could have a piece of bread with it but it is in the cbd . They have a great range of salads which are very reasonably priced and the coffee was good .

Ordered the lamb salad and a pizza with chips to share. We asked for the chips to come out first but the lamb salad came out before they did. So we asked how long the pizza would be as one of us had our meal and the other didn’t - waiter said he’s asked them to start making it now…! Second visit here and I had the lamb salad last time which was beautiful and huge. This time, the salad was still lovely but was definitely almost half the size. Don’t know if we’ll be back. The gluten free Portuguese chicken pizza was very average.

Absolutely disappointed with the $35 Prawn linguine pasta. It was VERY watery and the Linguine noodle was overcooked, no taste at all. Not even an exaggeration. 4 prawns and watered down pasta is not what you are expecting when you pay $30++. Definitely the worst pasta I have ever seen and tasted. Avoid at all costs. Although service provided by the wait staff was good. Hopefully they improve the quality of the food being served. They do offer gluten free options on the menu. However, was not able to try it. Will not be coming back.

We recently held our wedding reception at Kitchen by Mike, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the start, communication with Ellen was a breeze, and they were incredibly accommodating with all our requests, including a gluten-free and vegetarian menu. On the day of the event, everything went smoothly, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food was delicious and received numerous compliments from our guests. They also couldn’t stop praising the service, as the staff was super helpful and ensured everyone’s wine glasses were always topped up. Thank you so much!

Really nice spot for morning tea looking out over the water. The staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful. They have a number of gluten free options, and their cake portions are definitely generous! They have a variety of milk options, but no lactose free.

Great vibes and fantastic breakfast options, coffee was burnt but it was busy so I’ll give the benefit of the doubt. Gluten free and dairy options are bang on. Inside ambient lighting and cozy tables give Paris bistro but with an English pub Fitout. Service on par though a little slow given the volume of customers. Will give it another crack sometime when it’s less busy and see how they fare!

disappointed as given the wrong food. asked about their gluten free options as i have coeliac disease, was handed a menu with gf options and double checked which sides were gf as well (bacon, sausage, hash brown). ordered gluten free scrambled eggs with these three sides after checking it was safe. when our meals came out i asked if mine was gluten free and they said “no it’s not”. they proceeded to take the meal away and prepare me a new one which i was happy enough to eat. the food was really nice and i do recommend, but just be careful if you have any allergies or intolerances to double check you have the correct meal. i hope this establishment improves this issue and training of staff as it can be really unsafe.

I recently visited this high tea restaurant and was thoroughly disappointed. While the decor and ambience was gorgeous that was about it. The service was shockingly bad. The staff seemed disinterested, and it took forever for anyone to even acknowledge our presence. The food was the major letdown—the tea selection was mediocre at best, and the sandwiches were dry and tasteless. The pastries, which should have been the highlight, were stale and lacked flavor. But the worst part? The manager. He was visibly annoyed when we asked about the quality of food being served and acted like we were inconveniencing him for raising our concerns & because one of our party has a gluten intolerance that was mentioned in the booking (failure to comply with dietary requirements). He also accused us of complaining on the purpose of not wanting to pay, despite not eating 90% of the food as it was inedible. (We still paid) It’s clear that the staff’s bad attitude starts at the top. For the price of $56 pp, I expected so much more in both quality and experience. This place is a total letdown, and I won't be returning. GO ANYWHERE ELSE !
