The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious! I went with a group to carry things back for the family, and I'm convinced the only thing we didn't take was the bakery with us :)
Things we got: date, key lime & strawberry squares, cinnamon buns, lemon blueberry danishes, chubby bunnies, bourbon tarts, a chicken pot pie, and a cherry pie.
For a family that has egg allergies, gluten & dairy intolerance, everyone enjoyed the food. The only constructive criticism I'd give is maybe that the sucrose could be a bit less? However, overall, we enjoyed ghe food and will absolutely be back :)
This bakery offers stunning and delicious custom cakes and treats that surprise everyone with their incredible flavor and moisture.

Extremely disappointed in our experience today. The display case was bare, yet the macarons and tiger cake we purchased were all rock hard and very stale. When you’re paying such a premium for a gluten free item, the bare minimum is the product isn’t stale. Every item we bought smelled of refrigerator and not of anything remotely like the product it was advertised as. Whisked is monopolizing on the very small gluten free market and selling people stale items at an unfair markup considering the poor quality.
Innovative and inclusive vibes shine here, offering a deliciously creative menu that's perfect for everyone, making each visit truly memorable.

Stumbled upon this place as we were visiting the area from Toronto. I loved that everything was GF. A lot of dairy free options as well! The food was fresh, minimal ingredients and my stomach felt great after. We tried the breakfast platter, London fog latte, and a few DF/GF pastries that were delicious! Highly recommend the crème brûlée! I haven’t had one since my gluten/dairy intolerance and I was in heaven! I purchased a few more for the road. They also had a Mother’s Day high tea which was so cool because I haven’t found a gluten free high tea place in Toronto. We hope to be back next time we are in the area and would love to try high tea.
This spot is a hidden gem for unique treats that taste indistinguishable from non-gluten-free options, making every visit a delightful surprise.

Winnie’s is the best! As someone who doesn’t necessarily need gluten free options, I would still choose to eat here. The food is so delicious you don’t even notice it’s gluten free. My husband feels the same and he is a tough critic! They do have dairy free options as well which is great for me. From sweet to savory they have it all. I even got an amazing cake made for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Toronto that was not only delicious but so cute and fun!
This spot is a go-to for an amazing variety of gluten-free goodies, from flaky pastries to must-try frozen finds, perfect for everyone!

I absolutely LOVE this bakery! Truly a celiac heaven - I've been back twice since going with my partner because I was so happy with the experience.
I recommend the beef patties, anything by Riz, eclairs, crullers, and my friend loved the samosa (he's not even GF)!
Absolutely worth a long browse through their market, freezers and fresh bakes.
Offering wholesome, generous servings with plenty of plant-based options, this spot is perfect for a quick, healthy meal or post-workout treat.

This place was incredible!!! We looked for a safe gf place for our celiac daughter, and this one was such a treat in that it is all gf. But even more amazing was the healthy, plentiful and incredibly tasty meals we had. We left fully satisfied and it kept us going for a very long time. Amazing service as well. Would highly recommend! Thank you for giving us an amazing meal. We hope for Impact restaurants to come to Vancouver, our home.

I was THRILLED when I stumbled across this bakery today. I couldn’t believe my eyes! A gluten free bakery! I got three cupcakes, two butter tarts, and an apple crisp, and everything was absolutely 10/10. The texture of the cupcakes was AMAZING— absolutely blown away. Thank you!!!!!

Plant Matter Kitchen is such a wonderful place to enjoy healthier, delicious options. Everything on the menu is vegan, and most items are gluten-free or can be made gluten-free, which I really appreciate.
One of my absolute favourite desserts is their blueberry cheesecake—so creamy and flavourful, you’d never guess it’s vegan and gluten-free. Their chocolate cake is just as divine—rich, moist, and totally indulgent. Truly a slice of heaven! The presentation is always so beautiful.
The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the staff, especially the waitresses, are always so friendly and lovely. It’s a spot I keep coming back to, and I always leave feeling satisfied and happy.

What a treat. I live gluten-free and to be able to feed a little urge for classics like baked goods or a chicken pot pie is just wonderful. And they are sooo friendly ☺️

Read the reviews about the gluten-free fish and chips, and decided to check it out for a date with a Celiac girl. We were blown away, crispy batter, moist tender fish, house cut fries, all in a quiet, tucked away little spot with plenty of old school diner/pub themes. Will definitely be coming back.

Nice atmosphere and service, but inedible gluten free pastries. As someone who has tried the majority of gluten free bakeries in Toronto and countless storebought goods, it’s ludicrous that this bakery is charging $5.93 for a single black forest cupcake. The cupcake had a weird texture, it was like munching on uncooked quinoa in between cake crumb. The frosting was overwhelmingly sweet and not creamy at all. I’ve had plenty of good vegan frosting at other bakeries—this was not it. There was very little cherry filling and it should have been a jam-like consistency, instead I think they just soaked dried cherries in sugar syrup. Not to mention the black forest cupcake is a “seasonal” flavor which is how the bakery justifies an extra $0.75 surcharge. Last I checked, dried cherries are available year-round so I’m confused and you should be too.
Tucked away in a university food court, this hidden gem delights with vibrant dishes, attentive service, and a warm, relaxed vibe.

Fantastic service, they were so kind and happy to help us when we visited. Food was amazing, and everything can be prepared gluten free in dedicated appliances so there is no crosscontamination. Would definitely come back if we are in town!

Two friends and I had a lovely Moms Day off brunch here. First time visiting, I’d googled places my friend, who’s celiac, would be able to find good options. We opened the door and were greeted with a smile from the host and the wonderful smells of fresh baked goodies. There wasn’t a wait, but I wouldn’t have minded as I’d have had more time to look through to-go items for sale in the front. Our sever was friendly and prompt. Helped me decide between two things I was interested in, thoroughly assured my friend on what was gluten-free, substitutes to make things so, and our coffees were never empty. I will absolutely be coming back with my family soon.
A must-visit in Collingwood for incredible baked treats, accommodating service, and a fantastic variety that keeps everyone coming back for more!

Nice to have a "safe" bakery in the community. Treats are tasty and not super sweet or dry like most gluten free desserts. Frozen items available to take home as well. Wish they would do fresh breads as I would be all over that! They prefer cash or debit. Surcharge with credit card purchase.
A cozy spot with an intimate vibe serving local ingredients and creative breakfast dishes, it’s worth the wait for an unforgettable meal experience.

I’m annoyed enough to write this review because I just spent $25 on food that went into the garbage. After hearing good things I thought I would try them out. I got a gluten free muffin which was dry and mealy with over sugared icing. We got a couple sandwich cookies which were also mealy and so insanely sweet that I couldn’t taste anything other than sugar. They need to reduce the sugar by 50% to allow any other flavours to come out. We also got a butter tart. I’ve eaten a lot of butter tarts in my life and this was the worst. It was dense thick, icing, almost solid sugar, poured into a hard tart shell. Butter tarts are supposed to be gooey or even a tad runny and soft flaky crust. I have no idea why people recommend this place. Almost any bakery in the city does a better job.
This spot is a must-visit for delicious treats and a cozy vibe, perfect for anyone craving something special without worry.

Absolutely stellar experience at JWW! The owner was one of the most jovial food truck owners I’ve ever encountered and immediately made my fiancé and I feel welcomed as celiac diners. Jimmy was quick to ease our fears about CC and went above and beyond to offer our little pup an ice cream treat while we waited. We ordered several things off the menu for takeout including the corn dog, chicken club, chicken dinner and fries. We immediately drove it over to my parent’s place for lunch and it travelled beautifully (didn’t go soggy or cold). We were over the moon with the taste and texture and have raved about it to all our family and friends ever since (GF and non GF folk alike) because you absolutely can’t tell the difference. Thank you for catering to celiacs, a growing group of customers often dismissed/overlooked in the food space, and we can’t wait to dine with you again!

So impressed to find a place that cares about the ingredients they use for the health and well being of their clients. LOVE that they are gluten free and have vegan options. Take out, or sit down that doesn't set your health back is what Toronto needs more of, and this company has it!

I came in on April 4th, around 8pm, I was an hour late for my reservation, i was having major anxiety and felt like an ass for being so late. Your staff were unbelievably kind and helpful. The staff here were the absolutely nicest I have ever encountered. I was really struggling that day and everyone helped turn my day around (even though I know I was acting weird). I really needed a night out and I am really thankful to everyone. Also having a seperate gluten free menu is amazing!

Please bring back your old gluten free butter tarts!! They were so good and tasted just like a regular one. I don't know if the recipe has changed, but they aren't as gooy anymore! Otherwise, good gluten free items and sandwiches are yummy!

First I had a chocolate chip muffin, came back same day for an oatmeal cookie, came back next day for this incredible Breakfast Bowl. What a gem! I’m plant exclusive and gluten free, and here, I ate like a king. I’m coming back to Toronto this summer, this will be a must stop.

Mel’s Diner offers a classic diner experience with friendly staff, good food, and a retro vibe. We came at 9:30 on a Sunday and had a 20-minute wait for a table to open for 5 people, which felt like a reasonable wait time. There was counter seating available for smaller groups. We ordered quite a lot of food, and all of it was pretty good— nothing life-changing but a good, solid diner breakfast, with surprisingly good coffee. I typically find diner coffee to be pretty underwhelming. Mel’s menu also caters well for vegan and gluten-free people, which is something a lot of diners and breakfast places are missing. Mel’s has been around for a long time, and it makes sense why good food at reasonable prices with something for everyone on their menu.

Had a great time catching up with my bestfriend here. She is Celiac and wanted to try this place out for quite a while. We both ordered the Chicken Fajita Poutine. It was really tasty and really healthy. I got a special drink called "Rachael's Tears" which was a mix of earl grey tea and chai, with their sheep's milk. It was absolutely delicious. My bestfriend got the matcha organic tea and she loved it.
Care and thought is put into everything here. They offer so many health friendly products and foods. They also had a fridge with fresh local produce. Lots of parking in the front.
It is not wheelchair accessible, and does not have a washroom on the premises.

I LOVE Scoops! I’m a Celiac (must eat gluten-free medically) and go to Niagara probably twice a year if not more and I always make this a stop! Sometimes going two days for breakfast! They’re accommodations and understand of cross contamination and it’s one of the only places I can have breakfast safely! But they’re also super friendly we’ve enjoyed every time my husband and I have went and really can’t believe I’ve waited this long to review them! I have def told people on various GF sites to go there for breakfast! YUM! I’d give you 10 stars if I could 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 - we were there this past Monday the 20th and although quieter than a weekend day our waitress was delightful and even when I used the washroom prior to leaving the gentlemen (staff?) sitting at the employee table was super nice and wished us a great day! I hope they’re there forever!

My husband and friend loved your donuts. I have celiac and was so happy to see that you have two gluten-free options. They were more "cakey" than "donuty" but still very good. Rice flower is lighter and a little extra xantham gum might get that "chewyness" that glutenous donuts have. :)
