Some relatives brought me sobaos and palmeritas since I am celiac and the truth is that the flavor is very good but the sobaos are very very dry and the palmeritas are very hard. I understand that making things gluten-free is more difficult but I say this in case it can be improved since the sobao is dry and crumbly, a disappointment 😞

I've been spending my summers in Santander for seven years, and I always eat lunch or dinner at this restaurant. It's perfect for us: excellent, varied food of exquisite quality, and suitable for those with celiac disease. A place not to be missed if you go to Cabárceno. Very friendly. I have celiac disease and they adapted the menu for me to eat. I know that some fries aren't much, but eating them away from home is a luxury for some people. Thank you for taking the trouble to treat the public so well. To repeat.

Fantastic. I am celiac. We ordered a sea bass and some scrambled eggs with ham. The sea bass was €43/kg and they gave us a 1.4kg piece of sea bass It was great, but I don't know why I expected less. The attention to gluten and other issues was exquisite, they have it quite controlled, they make cachopos if you notify in advance without gluten and croquettes...etc. They told me that one of the cooks was celiac, so it was pretty quiet. The food was very good to me. They have gluten-free bread.

A horrible restaurant. The salad was disgusting and unmixed. They charged us five euros for bread, and we asked for water, but they gave us vermouth. We ordered a toad and they charged us two, but that was awesome. The mussels were by far the best on the menu. The octopus was passable. A bad experience, but also very good. Recommended for crooks and dishonest people. Someone from the 11th floor came and charged us 15 euros for nothing. I think he's employed by the restaurant and is on commission. The waitress repeatedly reprimanded us. Don't come with children. If you're allergic to gluten, there's a lot of cross-contamination. The waiters' attitude is not cool. If you have a dog, don't come either. They gave the poor dog salt water, rushing to the vet for dehydration. If you have a rare disease, don't come either. They don't make reservations. I asked if they had food for celiacs and they answered yes. But in reality what they have are general menus, with dishes that they offer to the entire public and some of them can be eaten by celiacs. But they didn't have bread for celiacs. The knuckle, for example, could be eaten by celiacs, but something was missing from the stew that had a slightly thick sauce. The price of the menu seemed expensive to us, for the quality they serve. The atmosphere was not bad, but with minimal privacy. They didn't have tails for celiacs. I do not recommend.

I recommend Pedro Garcia's store 100 x 100 if you come to Solares, it is an obligatory stop, yes or if you have to try, it is a place that teleports you to the 50s when people went to buy traditional groceries, an old hardware store, which has not nothing has changed, to enter the dining room you enter through the bar counter, we have been living there for many years and it is a pleasure to always repeat, the old decoration but everything very well cared for. You can still see the drawers where they put the screws of different sizes, etc. All the dishes are very delicious on this occasion we tried the blonde cow entrecôte half point + and half point -, the mussels in sauce it is a tradition to order them, the artichokes and for dessert a crazy homemade tiramisu. On other occasions we have tried more dishes such as gluten-free rabas, scorpionfish pie, Russian salad and a few more. It is worth it that these places do not lose tradition. The treatment of all the staff is very friendly, close and very professional, as if you were at home, with a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Congratulations on that great team. It's a good place for takeaway food or eating in. It's not expensive and the quantity and quality are quite good. During peak hours, it's very busy, so it's best to book. It's one of the best places in Colindres for burgers and sandwiches, in terms of value for money. If you want, they'll deliver to your home. If you have gluten problems, they have food options with a separate fryer.

Disastrous experience in the corner of Valle Real. There are no gluten-free options, except for 1 muffin that you don't know how long it's been in the jar. We have ordered 2 coffees, 1 warm and the other with oat milk... No attention is paid to cross contamination between milks and lousy coffee
