Holy smokes, Batman! As someone who often struggles to find great food options (especially gluten-free), Irregardless blew me away. Our waitress—whose name I regretfully forgot, and it’s not on my receipt—was phenomenal. I told her I was torn between a few choices, and she confidently recommended the Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich (GF). Honestly? One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in over 12 years. Crispy, flavorful, and totally worth the hype. 🌱 They accommodate a ton of dietary restrictions. 🍽️ Portion sizes? Generous. 🌿 Food? Incredibly fresh and delicious. 🏡 Location? Adorable. 🚗 Parking? A bit tricky, but it’s the only “meh” part. 🪑 Inside? Cozy, charming, and quiet enough to actually enjoy a conversation. If you’re in Raleigh and want something amazing, run—don’t walk—to Irregardless.

Food was good. We got their beignets and some breakfast stacker crepes. My Celiac wife forgot to tell them that she was gluten free so they had to remake the dish for her. They were very nice about it. Only reason for lack of star was server wasn’t very attentive and forgot silverware

Review in English + Spanish This bakery was such a gem to find! The inside is super cute, and they offer a nice variety of products—including some vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free options. Usually, they have about 1 to 3 flavors available that meet those needs, but they can sell out quickly, so I recommend ordering ahead or stopping by earlier in the day. My favorite is their vegan, gluten-free strawberry cupcake—it tastes like there's real jam mixed into the frosting. You can really taste the strawberry throughout, and it's just the right balance of sweetness. That said, one thing to note: they store the gluten-free cupcakes on the top shelf of the display with non-gluten-free items, which could be an issue for people with celiac disease or serious cross-contamination concerns. Also, there have been a couple of times when the cupcake quality wasn't consistent, which was disappointing—but most of the time, they taste great. The frosting is on the sweeter side and very generously applied. If you're not big on sweet frosting, I actually recommend saving some to spread on other baked goods (I do that!) or sandwiching the cupcake by cutting it in half. I've also had coffee from here, and I've never had a bad reaction to any of their drinks or baked goods. Just a heads-up: there's limited street parking nearby, and it's paid—so plan ahead if you're driving. Overall, a lovely spot worth checking out—with just a few things to keep in mind if you have dietary restrictions. After several hours at the Marbles museum, the five of us (three adults and two kids) stopped for lunch at Lime and Lemon. The servers were very attentive to all of us and helped us find dairy free items. We had Tofu Vindaloo, Madras Chicken Curry, and two chicken weekday lunch combos. Everything was delicious with the five year old saying the chicken 65 was "like amazing!". We sat at a half booth/half table where everyone was able to sit comfortably. You could have a celebratory meal, a date, or just drop by for lunch or dinner. The website menu allows you to filter by dietary restrictions, including dairy free, nut free, soy free, gluten free. The bathrooms are two gender neutral single stalls. Parking in front of the restaurant is for Zaxbys, so be sure to get street parking or park in a garage. We will be back!

I met a client here for a morning coffee meeting and it was a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The entire restaurant is gluten free, which was fantastic to learn. They do have some vegan drink and food options, but not many. Macadamia and Almond milk are the plant milk options. I got a hot Golden Latte and added a shot of espresso. It was delicious! My client got a smoothie bowl, which she loved. Please note that all of the smoothies contain whey protein so they are NOT vegan, but you can ask for the plant protein as a swap instead. Overall, the atmosphere and experience were very enjoyable. The only thing that would make this place better was if they incorporated more inherently vegan/ plant based options in order to cater to a wider variety of people.

I've been here before a year ago or so, the service and atmosphere are wonderful, I really enjoy eating there! I got the smoked salmon frittata and it was delicious! I had to ask for a bit more salad dressing, but our server was very kind and was happy to get me some more. The reason I've given the good a low review isn't because it's bad, but because they've gotten rid of their gluten free/friendly options (still have gf toast though, it was pretty good). I was super excited to go back and even more so when I saw all the delicious Fall options for pancakes, only to find out they no longer had the option to make them gf. I hope to hear they reintroduce that in the future.

Decent cappuccino and breakfast sandwich with gluten free bread was great! Service was very fast! Went in on a Tuesday around 830am. Place was very busy, all tables full, four or five people ahead of me in line and others waiting for orders, and I was still in and out in less than 10 minutes. After staying in Raleigh for the weekend, we were able to acclimate to the food climate in the downtown area and overall very impressed with the options. Our visit to heirloom was for brunch, it is in a nice location with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, as well as bike racks. The Japanese omelet over rice was an incredible dish that satisfied the morning appetite. The sauce was salty and sweet and complemented the kewpie mayo and egg perfectly. Such an incredible dish that is so simple as well. The breakfast baguette was also a hit, great quality bread and the bacon was crispy and flavorful. Unfortunately, I was in the mood for a donut so I tried the mochi gluten free donut they had. This was the biggest mistake of my trip, it was the worst donut I’ve had the misfortune of putting in my mouth. The texture was so tough and the flavor was even worse. Stick to gluten donuts. I still give this place 5 stars since the main dishes were that good, cool place and decent price.

Overall, good breakfast spot, with nice selection and good staff. BUT, if pancakes are your thing for breakfast, go somewhere else. The pancakes are tougher than a thick leather belt. I imagine they stir the batter with every single order that goes on the griddle so, by 9am, its just a mass of rubbery gluten. Bring sharp teeth and a steak knife for the pancakes.

Our experience was excellent for lunch. I have both gluten and dairy allergies and our waitress was very knowledgeable and even suggested substitutions with sides and sauces to accommodate me. I had the seared sea scallops and my husband had Jambalaya. Both were excellent. We were received a survey to rate our experience and after I filled it out, I received a very personalized email from the Manager thanking me for my positive feedback and indicated they take dietary restrictions very seriously. I was very impressed with the food and the follow-up

I had a few early morning appointments across town and needed to grab food in between. Due to my mindful lifestyle and autoimmune issues, I’m very particular about the quality of ingredients, preparation, and nutrients, so I don't eat out often. I ordered the "Triathlete" plate with a side of chicken sausage and gluten-free toast. The first plate came out with old-looking fruit, no tomatoes, no toast, no pico, and no mushrooms—half the ingredients of the dish were missing. Essentially, it was just an egg white omelette with canned green chili and onions, a few grapes, and the chicken sausage I ordered. I had to call the server over, as she hadn’t checked on me. I pointed out the missing items, and she took the dish back to be remade. She mentioned they were out of mushrooms initially but were now cooking more. It seemed like they hoped I wouldn’t notice the missing ingredients. About 10 minutes later, the server returned with the dish, which still lacked pico and had only one piece of diced tomato. They did add more fruit, which was nice. Again, I had to call out to the server, who was hanging out at the hostess stand. I told her I was over the experience and wasn’t going to send the food back again. She brought me a box for my fruit and handed me a gift card as I left. Overall, it was a lackluster experience and a stark reminder of why I’ve been avoiding eating out post-c0vid. The photo is the "remake".

The front of house staff were very friendly but unfortunately there were hardly any gluten free options. The fryer (and all apps except one) were cross contaminated, and few entrees were exclusively gluten free even with modifications. Ended up with a burger (which was delicious), but no fries etc.

We had great experience! We accidentally forgot to say my wife was gluten-free so the meal came with bread on it. Our Server “Nour” immediately said they would remake it and it came back out very quickly. We were very pleased with the service !

When you enter there are a couple stairs to reach the counter. There are lots of yummy treats available. Many pastries. Prices are between $4 and $10. They have a couple gluten free options but no gluten free pastry. There are multiple coffee options. I had an Americano and it was good. My son really enjoyed the fruit pastry he got. It had custard and strawberry type preserves. Well baked and flaky. There are 2 restrooms available. The one I used was clean. The one complaint is that it was hot inside. They could enjoy the use of the air conditioner more to make patrons more comfortable.
