Holy smokes, Batman! As someone who often struggles to find great food options (especially gluten-free), Irregardless blew me away. Our waitress—whose name I regretfully forgot, and it’s not on my receipt—was phenomenal. I told her I was torn between a few choices, and she confidently recommended the Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich (GF). Honestly? One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in over 12 years. Crispy, flavorful, and totally worth the hype. 🌱 They accommodate a ton of dietary restrictions. 🍽️ Portion sizes? Generous. 🌿 Food? Incredibly fresh and delicious. 🏡 Location? Adorable. 🚗 Parking? A bit tricky, but it’s the only “meh” part. 🪑 Inside? Cozy, charming, and quiet enough to actually enjoy a conversation. If you’re in Raleigh and want something amazing, run—don’t walk—to Irregardless.

If you are GF, this is the place; everything is gluten-free. We happened upon the summer menu filled with fresh ingredients. Highly recommend the cheddar biscuits, the beet appetizer, the braised short ribs, finished with the chocolate torte. Unique selection of cocktails, and the wine menu is extensive. My glass of Malbec was very good. Service was attentive, personable, yet not always in your space. Highly recommend!

One of the most delicious gluten-free meals I’ve had since being diagnosed with celiac in 2013! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The restaurant was spotless—with a perfect 100 sanitation score—and the staff was equally impressive. English and Spanish: I have been to this restaurant several times and have loved it every time! They are allergy-friendly, 100% gluten-free, and are willing to make accommodations. They have this vegan cilantro sauce that is phenomenal. I’ve gotten the vegan beyond arepa with avacados, lettuce, and Fritos. The rice and beans (the beans depend on who is making it; there have been some inconsistencies there), but everything else is good. I also love their fresh juices. I was so excited to try Burtons with their huge gluten free menu, but I was really disappointed. I ordered an appetizer of the bread and it was so tough and dry. Still, I was excited for my entree. I ordered a warm lobster roll with fries. The fries were AMAZING. I actually have a hard time finding good GF fries but theirs were fantastic—which is why I gave 2 stars. The lobster was okay but the bun was pretty gross. The whole thing was just dry and not flavorful at all. The service was not good either :( I got 1 refill after eating most of my meal without a drink (except the table water), and we sat there for 30 minutes waiting to pay. Hopefully today was just an off day for them but based on my experience today, I don’t recommend it.

Everything was wonderful. They were able to work with our food allergies without issue. They accommodated gluten free, nut free, and even a garlic free guest! Room is beautiful, staff was on top of everything, would definitely recommend.

FULLY GLUTEN FREE RESTAURANT 🤩 We’ve been frequenting BIBIBOP in Cary since it has opened. Most all gluten free people know gluten free Asian foods are few and far between. This place is DELICIOUS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I describe it like an Asian chipotle in set-up. You go through line and build a bowl. VERY FRESH and clean ingredients. Tasty teas and lemonades. Yummy free miso soup. Friendly staff and clean space. 10/10 recommend (I promise there is healthy greens under our toppings in the pictures lol)

So I have autoimmune disease called Celiac Disease and that means gluten and me do not get along at all. This place has great gluten free reviews and was super excited coming here. Well now I am about ready to lose my mind. I asked my usual questions concerning gluten free items and preparations for their food/drinks. I ordered a CIDER and got served a BEER without hesitation. This is actually absurd. When somebody asks you about gluten free items and safety precautions and then immediately within 2 minutes get served a gluten containing item, it’s just actually ridiculous. The server was apologetic and kind but not knowing the difference between beer and cider is disheartening.

Wonderful food with a variety of health-conscious options including gluten free and dairy free, including their desserts. We loved it so much we went back twice in the same day haha. Parking is the only challenge, but the food and very friendly service makes it worth it. Highly recommend!

I hired Neomonde to cater two back-to-back parties I was hosting this June (for 75 and 25 people, respectively.) I chose them because I have always liked their food and they were recommended by a friend whose event Neomonde catered back in 2020. Neomonde did an excellent job, and they will be my go-to caterer if I need one in the future. First (and no surprise) the food was excellent and my guests raved about it. The buffet presentation was lovely too. In addition, the catering manager Saida was a delight to work with, and made everything as easy as possible for me. This included suggesting great options on a tasting menu, helping me figure out how much food to order, answering my many questions about logistics (ice, buffet space and set up, how much wine/beer to have, sustainable utensils, gluten-free options, etc etc etc), and managing the set up and tear down of the buffet and packaging all the leftovers for me (yum.) Saida’s support was especially helpful to me as I had never hosted events of that size or complexity before. I highly recommend Neomonde!

The best gluten free burger bun I’ve ever had!!! It was a seeded bun so it had great flavor and was soft and didn’t fall apart at all. The gf chicken nuggets were also delicious paired with the cheer wine bbq sauce. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable!!

My husband and I frequent Old Europe for their delicious cakes and coffee, so when it came time to pick a vendor for our wedding desserts, it was an easy choice! Abby helped us choose a variety of small cake flavors, and made sure each one was gluten free (I have celiac disease). She also walked us through customizing a larger cake for the two of us. Everything turned out beautiful, and our guests raved about how pretty and delicious our desserts were. Also of note- our original wedding was the day after Hurricane Helene. Old Europe made it super easy to reschedule for our new date!

My husband and I chose Strada for our wedding rehearsal dinner catering. Our wedding was originally the weekend of Hurricane Helene, but even amidst the chaos, the Strada catering team got in contact with us to communicate that their kitchen was down, and issued a prompt refund. When we rescheduled our wedding for June 2025, we reached out to see if they would be able to provide catering- this time, my husband was on a strict dairy, soy, gluten and egg free elimination diet. The Strada team worked with us to ensure he had a meal he could safely eat, and also worked to accommodate the vegetarians in our wedding party and my celiac disease. They clearly labeled every allergen, which made everything much easier when we served the catering at our venue- and the food was delicious. We were Strada fans before, but now we’re Strada stans! Highly recommend them for your catered event.

Food was good. We got their beignets and some breakfast stacker crepes. My Celiac wife forgot to tell them that she was gluten free so they had to remake the dish for her. They were very nice about it. Only reason for lack of star was server wasn’t very attentive and forgot silverware

Great pizza and rice pudding! Also the staff was excellent. We meant to order a gluten free pizza and forgot until the pizza came out. When we let the staff know, they so kindly made our gluten free order; no fuss.

It's a good place to eat. The service is typically great. The food and drinks are what they should be. I would classify this as a new-school Greek diner. A very casual, inexpensive, sit-down restaurant with a huge variety on the menu to suit a wide variety of tastes. We have many similar restaurants in the northeast. Some of my family members have celiac (gluten allergy) and Bernie's has done a great job both with preparation as well as variety. I have one complaint: my gyro platter only had 3 kalamata olives on it! Μαλακίες!

Fantastic gluten free menu! Definitely recommend the hush puppies and Boat Entree's. All dessert is gluten free and they even have gluten free beer which unfortunately wasn't available the day I went, but usually is.

We dined at Barcelona Wine Bar for Independence Day and were served by Ashley and Conner. We called early in the afternoon to check on reservations, but were assured we could probably walk in with no wait. The patio quickly filled after we were seated by a manager. Service was attentive and courteous throughout. We enjoyed burrata, lamb chops, chicken thigh, haricot verts and the Branzino entree. Each dish was rich with flavor and beautifully presented. As a celiac, it means a lot that our servers were versed on proper protocol. Pesto for the burrata was served on the side, as it was cross contaminated with the bread previously on the flat-top, for example. We were warned at the beginning of service that entrees would take a little while. Our wait between tapas and entrees must have been longer than usual for the establishment. We were asked if there were any other tapas we would like while the Branzino was being prepared. Taken by complete surprise managers comped both our hericot verts and the entree. Although we would have no complaints paying for both as we understand from the FOH perspective. Fantastic job by all! We will be back!

This Mellow has a 70s disco theme. It was dark but so many bright colors. The food was delicous as always, and their gluten-free crust is always a hit for my daughter. Service was good, slow at times, but that is because it was between busy hours and servers get distracted as new employees come in. Young being young.

Wanted to love it but…we both got sick My husband ordered the lasagna. It was mushy and covered in sauce, when my husband scraped off the sauce topping it revealed a black top layer that was disgusting and left us both feeling queasy and wondering just how long that lasagna had been in the walk-in. If you are celiac, I wouldn’t trust the gf pasta here. I had a reaction after dining here last night that left me wondering if the gf pasta was boiled in cross contaminated water 🤷🏻‍♀️ The noodles were over cooked and not that great even before my belly swole to the size of an 8 month pregnancy. In retrospect, this is a kitchen nightmare and we wouldn’t have been surprised if Gordon Ramsay popped out around the corner while we were dining there. That being said the front of the house was nice and handled our complaint professionally.

Incredible! So many gluten free options, marked clearly on the menu. And FANTASTIC gluten free key lime pie! The owner, Nelson, made sure we knew how much they cared about making an affordable and safe GF dining experience. Loved the ambience and the food; the burger was one of the best I've ever had and the gf bun was soooo fluffy! They give you a FREE cookie at the end and the gf cookie was actually soft and not crumbly. I cried a little I was so excited. I will be back!

Good cake style donuts especially when fresh. They charge $2 for extra trays which is a bit much if you want to share orders. Especially since donuts come in orders of 2-4 on a stick. Gluten free options; may need to order ahead for those.

Very good burgers, with gluten free options both for buns and for sides. The medium rare beef burger just melts in your mouth, and the gluten free chicken tenders and tater tots are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The wait is also quick, we've been here twice and got our food within 10 minutes. We ate our food before I could remember to take photos, so here's the clean plate club. They also have a rewards club that offers free burgers and such, if you like app/rewards clubs.

We had salads and pizzas delivered for our large group one night. They were fast and efficient. Salads were fresh and delicious (Greek salad). The pizzas satisfied our cravings and went perfectly with the wine we had at home. Solid crust and ingredients. We had a guest that was gluten free and she was able to pick her option and enjoy a great pizza alongside everybody.

Found Something FISHy through the @Find Me Gluten Free app, checked out reviews and off we went. It was the PERFECT welcome to the Wilmington area. I got fried shrimp w/ fries while my husband had fish, shrimp & fries. So delicious and ready quick. Fried to perfection! They have a gluten free prep area and dedicated fryer. We later found out that's where hubby's family has been eating for years.

Though a little worn (and obviously well patronized), and the outside comes in.... this is a really well designed menu, fabulous staff, and the cheesecake is above the expected. I love how much is gluten free, and no questions asked about the allergy, and that the menu reflects a variety of tastebuds of well researched foodies. These are definitely not the digs of your average pub in a small town. They know their food. I recently brought a group of ladies there, and there was something for everyone. *The Greek Burger needs more sauce, but that's just me. I love Tzatziki sauce. And the Sweet Potato fries are also good with Tzatziki sauce. Thanks to the staff for quick service and accurate drinks (Unsweet tea is a huge deal for those of us with that taste bud). lots of love to Dooley's!

Our server was kind, but we were given takeout boxes for our entrees and the check upon receiving our food without time to enjoy our meal. The gluten free options are limited, and the pasta was a bit of a let down.

I was shocked to see a negative review from a gluten-free person. I, too, am gluten free, and I have found them to always be very accommodating, including the non-soy soy sauce that they bring without my having to ask. We have eaten at M Sushi many times over the time since they first opened their doors next to The Durham, and we have never had anything but a superb experience. There are always differences of opinion, but we love M Sushi and will be heading there for our 25th wedding anniversary with the people who designed Mike's space.

Yikes. Don’t even know where to start. Long story short - don’t come here. We waited over an hour and a half for our food and after that we walked out. Never typically leave reviews for restaurants but this was an exception because it was so bad. I mean the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. We kept getting different excuses from the waiter and the manager. At one point it was that “gluten free pizza takes longer” (which has never been a hold up in the past at Mellow), another time it was “the kitchen made your orders wrong,” and the third time it was “the kitchen lost your ticket and your order hasn’t been made.” After over an hour and a half of waiting and the server asking us our order again and getting the order wrong on the ticket, we decided to leave. Manager and waiter never seemed to care that we had been waiting over an hour and a half, there was no sympathy or apologies, and they were rude. Exceptionally bad customer service. Other tables were waiting for their food and the food pick up section had a large amount of people waiting a long time too. So don’t count on pick up being timely either. Understand delays can happen because of staff shortage and busy hours, but the restaurant was half empty and tons of servers standing around. None of our group will be coming back. Highly recommend you don’t go here or if you really want Mellow Mushroom to visit the Cary or Durham location.
