This weekend we had a small reunion with friends, all vegans, one of whom was celiac.
The staff was very knowledgeable and kind, their pizza with cheese and vegan pesto... spectacular!!!
Also very good risotto with artichokes and veg cheese.
We also had the choice of dessert: either a strawberry pudding or an orange cake, I gave in to the cake!
Very good and fresh, nothing to envy of the "normal" ones.
I don't think these sweets are on the menu, it's always better to call first to let them know what you need and ask.
Congratulations, super recommended place.
A charming spot with refined decor, offering a well-crafted menu that highlights traditional dishes and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

We had dinner in this nice restaurant with friends, we were all very satisfied, really excellent cheese focaccia, even the gluten-free foods are really delicious, both the fresh pasta and the cheese focaccia. We will certainly return.
Bright lights and a cozy vibe make this spot perfect for a relaxing time, with attentive service and a vibrant drink selection that hits the spot.

Excellent restaurant, near the old port, with traditional dishes and more. Many gluten-free options (and I'm not talking about the usual salad or steak, which are already gluten-free, I'm talking about pizzas, traditional first courses including trofie with pesto, or casonsei with walnut sauce, pizzas, second courses and desserts). I highly recommend the trofie with octopus and taggiasca olives, which I really liked.
With a stunning sea view, this pizzeria offers delicious, well-leavened pizzas and a solid range of craft beers, all at great prices.

Small pizzeria but with truly exceptional pizzas. Long leavening, very good dough, both normal and wholemeal or cereals, excellent seasonings. The service is fast and efficient. It also makes gluten-free pizzas. Spaces a little small

A huge thank you, and super compliments to the chef..
for the care and attention to the preparation for us celiacs, with contamination... May GOD bless you. Thank you so much for your heartfelt work, and your awareness of our intolerance.

What more could you want, a typical Genoese trattoria, on the sea, plentiful dishes, cheap price, and delicious food. They also do gluten-free. If you don't want to feel bad, go somewhere else.
Mediocre "normal" pizzas, tasteless cereal pizza and gluten-free pizza that literally made you want to throw up, burnt underneath but raw, tasted like wet bread. I ate the first two slices because I'm against food waste but halfway through the second slice I had to leave it on the plate, it was eaten by others precisely so as not to throw it away. After about twenty minutes I had to go to the bathroom to throw up (and I went several times), the old waiter approached the table to eavesdrop on what we were saying about it, in all of this he had an arrogant and rude behavior for the whole evening, even before feeling bad. They went to ask to make me a tea because I felt bad from the pizza and I couldn't stand up and they even made me pay for it. Terrible experience, I'm surprised they're still open because all the celiac people I know have felt bad after eating there. There are plenty of other good places that don't try to poison you, do yourself a favor and avoid.
Experience a welcoming vibe with delicious pizza and impressive hospitality, making it a top pick for gatherings, even with kids in tow!

Really satisfied, we arrived in Genoa and we didn't know where to go, we found a nice place, the place isn't the best but it's fine, very kind staff but the pizza really good, highly recommended for gluten-free, the only thing my wife told me good but a little low, but that's okay😉

I ordered a gluten-free pizza the other night via deliveroo. The pizza was very good, the ingredients (eggplant and cacioricotta if I'm not mistaken) very good, of excellent quality. It was really worth it, it didn't feel like glutenfeee. I would also like to point out the very kind and nice staff: I ordered through deliveroo
1) in addition to the gluten-free pizza, I had requested french fries. They had the foresight to call me to warn me that there could be contamination since it was French fries and they wanted to make sure that it was okay for me. Much appreciated this, they could have not called me
2) I had politely asked them to let me know when they were about to deliver (so I could leave the hotel for collection) and they called me shortly before
Very positive experience, I will definitely order again in the next few days🤪
Ps I didn't have time to take a photo because the pizza was delicious.
Pps pizza delivered super hot!

We have known the Donne del Vino association for a few years and given the positive experience of the previous time we decided to repeat the evening in Recco. The reference winery of the evening was Tenuta Carretta of the Miroglio family.
We ate two starters: a very good sea bass tartare and the excellent focaccia from Recco, all paired with Alta Langa.
First, pansotti with walnut sauce, while second, "Ciupin" (typical Ligurian fish soup) with Canorei.
To finish we tasted an excellent dark chocolate dessert combined with Carretta's Moscato d'Asti.
Super organized for gluten. Very good and kind Paola (and obviously all her staff!)
A hidden gem with a fantastic vibe, great variety, and quality dishes that won’t break the bank—definitely worth a visit!

Unfortunately disappointing experience in this tavern. Young waiters, okay, but inexperienced; they brought the first courses before the appetizers, the wine arrived a quarter of an hour after the glasses, with the meal almost over. The gluten free option is appreciated, however there is a lack of vegan options (as a lactose intolerant I found milk and derivatives in almost all the fish-based dishes). Pleasant environment, in a basement room inside a historic building, dominated by an imposing vault. Average prices, but decidedly high considering the service. Poor wine list, with a poor choice of Ligurian wines, of which only one red can be ordered by the glass and this was absolutely not worth the price.
Experience a delightful blend of flavors and a warm atmosphere, perfect for families and seafood lovers alike, right by the beautiful coastline.

The Le Gardenie restaurant in Riva Trigoso is truly exceptional.
Value for money of the highest level, they have a very wide choice of dishes (not to mention the wine list and the Cantine Lunae Black Label... if you find a restaurant that has it on the menu, you should NEVER miss it) almost all also available for celiacs - despite not being a distinctly Gluten Free restaurant - as well as the pizza which they also do to take away.
The staff is attentive to every need, so much so that they created special dishes for me and also brought me, instead of the usual pre-packaged bread, a gluten-free flatbread made sensationally good on the spot.
The only flaw: it is almost always full and you have to book well in advance.
PS: dispassionate advice, the chocolate nuggets of dessert are so delicious that they alone are worth the dinner

This is my favorite restaurant in Sestri! The food is amazing, especially if you’re gluten-free or dairy-free like me. The Fritto di Pesce senza glutine is the best I’ve ever had! I came back twice for lunch. You need to be patient with the lady serving; she means well and she is really nice.

Good choice ! Nice story !
When they say: "a name, a guarantee".
Here is a clear example.
And with this I could also stop here but I continue to strongly recommend everyone, not only "foreigners" but above all Genoese people, to visit this lovely place in the Porto Antico area, right in front of the former fish market.
This too is a good choice.
"Family" managed but no less professional, "Da licki gli mustache" is a very pleasant experience.
Cozy, well furnished, with attention to detail and very clean.
It offers "home cooking" with typically Ligurian dishes with a look at more modern recipes for both meat and fish and where even celiacs will be satisfied.
The menu tells a beautiful story: that of the cook Vanessa, owner of the restaurant since 2017 together with her husband Andrea, and of her love for cooking and home recipes since she was a child. Dishes prepared with love and attention ranging from a selection of captivating appetizers - special mention to the Fassona Cheesecake and Cappon Magro - to first courses, fish or typically Genoese ones with pesto or walnut sauce. Among the second courses, excellent quality of meat with perfect cooking, Stockfish del Baffo that you would never finish eating and Snails alla Verazzina, an ancient recipe from Borgio Verezzi. The anchovy rolls were also delicious and reminded me of Sicily... the region of origin of Vanessa's family.
Every day three or four dishes are off the menu such as a superb Ligurian rabbit, very fresh grilled or Ligurian fish, artichokes when in season are offered fried "in rounds" and not in wedges.
Don't joke about desserts either...you will be spoiled for choice.
The wine list is not extensive but complete and a house wine is up to the task.
The bill? Excellent quality/cost ratio, a pleasant surprise too.
Congratulations to Vanessa and thanks to Andrea for his kind welcome and his kind service in the room.
Well done, keep it up

I was recently lucky enough to dine at this seafood restaurant, opting for the five-course tasting menu, and I have to say it was a fantastic experience!
Each dish was a delicious surprise, with the freshest ingredients and presentations that were almost too pretty to eat.
The service was exceptional: the waiters were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making the atmosphere welcoming and relaxing. They were able to advise us perfectly and were attentive to every detail, without ever being intrusive. They were especially very attentive towards my wife who, as a celiac, cannot eat anything that contains gluten.
Bottom line, everything was just perfect. If you are looking for a place to enjoy amazing seafood and feel pampered from start to finish, this restaurant is a must try. I can't wait to go back!

We visited this restaurant, but did not eat the pizza sitting at the table (but on the beach, a few minutes walk away). I must admit that, although the pizzeria was full, they served and brought us the pizzas within a few minutes and what's more they were really good, both the classic ones and the GLUTEN-FREE one that my girlfriend got. Soft in the dough, but slightly crunchy underneath, very tasty with refined ingredients and a very extensive menu.

Absolutely charming, if I could have given more than 5/5 I would! Freshly made gluten free ravioli, with pesto and shrimp was incredible. Fresh gluten free bread served at the table with olive oil, delicious starter, desert wonderful, and the host was so kind and friendly.
