We received a recommendation today for the best Lasagna Bolognese in Bologna - it was correct. We had a fantastic meal tonight at La Capriata. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and we were offered a dedicated Gluten Free menu which was a nice touch. All four of us really enjoyed our dinner.

They have a lot of gluten free options. The bread is extraordinary! My husband and I ordered tagliere for 2 and it was great. Because I’m celiac, both breads were gluten free and he actuallly said it was very tasteful. I 100% Recommend this place if you are gluten intolerant/ celiac. Location wise? It couldn’t be better. Just a few meters away from the Torre Dell’Orologio and the Neptune Fountain.

We had lunch in this restaurant for my graduation, the food was delicious, from the pizzas to the first courses and also the desserts, the staff was very kind, and the place was very welcoming. The gluten-free cuisine is reliable and is effectively gluten-free and contamination-free, as unfortunately does not happen in other restaurants. Even though we were a little late due to some problems and with lunch we exceeded the closing time of the restaurant, the staff was still very kind and helpful in understanding the situation, without making us feel it in any way. I highly recommend this restaurant, thanks again!

Great gluten free food with many options to choose. I was so happy to find this place as I am gluten inteligent and it is hard to find good breakfast in new places. It saved my life cause I was very hungry after the trip. I came back several times and I will be back again for sure :)

Wow wow wow! Great joint for lunch. Great friendly welcome. Menu explained, GF pizza all round! ( warning, the kitchen is a one and all for us coeliacs) in saying that, I’m feeling fine hours later and I react pretty fast. So well done on them. Pizza was massive, I’m a big guy and struggled ( but won! ) tasted amazing. The nautical theme is awesome. Big ups. Go, you know you want to now.

Lots of gluten-free options, I went there for an aperitif and had tigelle with a cutting board. Everything was very good, very kind and friendly staff. I highly recommend booking. The only flaw is the price, in my opinion a bit high compared to the quantity given.

A dinner on November 2nd in the heart of Bologna, the key word is Hospitality from the owner to the waiters who take care of the guests. Excellent food and fast service, attention also paid to dogs. Gluten-free pasta and dishes!

A iconic stereotypical Italian corner restaurant/cafe, which I would recommend everyone to visit. The topping of the sandwich was very tasty with a lot of flavor, but the gluten free bread was quite directly dry. So much dry that I wonder if the ones deciding the bread even has tried it, because even cheap supermarket bread would be preferred above it. But it should be mentioned that the breads with gluten were by the rest of the group met with better reviews. The staff was few making at one point a long queue, as of the one attending the cash register where helping preparing the food. To be fair, the restaurant were at this moment quite crowded.

I went for dinner the other night, it's not a suitable restaurant for those with celiac disease. Even though all the dishes are plant-based / vegan, you have to be very careful about contamination.

It's misleading to write gluten-free options which then send you away if you have celiac disease. Plus the girls aren't the most friendly. Not recommended *** You told me the first time that there was the possibility of contamination, I said okay and sat down, then another lady came to reiterate the concept, so was it me who wanted to leave or was it you who didn't have want to let me eat in your restaurant? Unfortunately we know that if the cuisine is unique there can be contamination, you just need to be very careful, which you probably don't want to do. Also, there are few restaurants that have double kitchens but they are happy to pay attention. However, I repeat that it is not recommended for celiacs.

Good place for breakfast and snacks, specially if you like middle eastern food. It was very busy when I went (Sunday 12:30pm) so I didn’t get a very good costumer service. The staff couldn’t explain what was really Gluten Free or not, and when you don’t eat gluten, that information is crucial.

One of the highlights on our Bologna trip 🇮🇹 From the start you feel the passion in the people at Oltre. They love food and they want you to have a good time. The menu is delicious and they can even commodate glutenfree alternatives. Their regú is exceptional. Also a shout-out to their bartender and sommelier. They did Such a fine job in making it an experience to remember. And a funny little detail was they had Street Fighter in the basement 🔥

Who in their right mind serves raw beef to humans? Even if this is a traditional food for bears or wolves, people should know what a "steak" means in their menu. At least warn clients that they are about to pay for dog food. Warining others about allergies and gluten BS, but not warning anyone they are about to be served animal food is the lowest insult.

A super characteristic environment, from the cool internal courtyard covered for the warmer season to the welcoming basement that takes you back to a medieval era. Abundant and very good food, the careful choice of ingredients is evident in all dishes. Affordable prices and finally excellent wines. Super recommended!

GLUTEN FREE burgers I have already eaten their sandwiches several times and they are very good, all choices have the possibility of being made with gluten-free bread for a surcharge, but in any case the food is very good. Obviously it's not an AIC place because they heat the bread on the same griddle, but the shop assistants are super prepared and say so as soon as you ask for the variation. Finally a cash free restaurant in the big European cities, it's about time civilization arrived here too! The only flaw: the gluten-free sandwiches always arrive cold, whether they are ordered or taken on the spot.
