La Grotta is an exceptional restaurant. My boyfriend is coeliac and they were more than accommodating. We had a fabulous charcuterie board to start which was out of this world. My pesto cream pasta for main was genuinely one of the nicest pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Aperols were flowing, service was top tier. Thank you

Bad experience, little attention, a lot of rudeness and watch out for contamination ‼️ Introduction: it is not the first time we have booked at this place because for me, being celiac, the quality of the pizza is very high. However, I never expected the treatment I received this last time. We should have already understood that the evening would go badly from the moment we went there at 9.00 pm and discovered that our reservation had been lost in the hyperuranium. Our table for 6 people was still prepared but outside, without the foresight of placing a heating mushroom near us since it was 15 degrees. After an hour of receiving the order, nothing had yet been brought to us, not even 3 beers and 3 cokes (which also arrived incorrectly). After asking several times where our pizzas were and, seeing as we had been waiting for 2 hours in the cold, in annoyance they finally moved us inside, unaware that the worst was yet to come. At 11.30pm the pizzas finally arrive... all of them, except mine gluten-free. After about twenty minutes my pizza finally arrived...SPOILER: IT WAS WRONG. I had ordered a simple "margherita" and I was brought a "margherita 2.0" complete with parmesan, buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes. Having alerted the waiter of the incorrect serving, the PIZZA WAS BROUGHT BACK TO ME AND IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT BACK WITHOUT TOMATOES (among other things, CONTAMINATED since they were taken away from me with sweet, beautiful hands contaminated by gluten). I FELT DEEPLY TAKEN OFF, so I got up to go and ask for explanations of my treatment. The manager, once again angrily, initially denied what had happened, trying to make me believe that their margherita pizza was like this (too bad they DON'T declare the ingredients on the menu... which is quite dangerous given the food allergies and totally illegal), then he turned to the chef with a "then make this margherita"... When everyone else had finished eating, I also managed to have my pizza. But it didn't end here... At midnight no one bothered to come and ask if we wanted a dessert or a coffee so we had to get up ourselves. Once we got to the cashier to close on a high note we were even told that we had been given a discount (a few pennies)…

There are also very delicious dishes, gluten-free and lactose-free pizzas and pastas. Simply fabulous flavors and very nice staff. Everything was fine, the best place and right on the beach. One of our favorite places, we will definitely be back.

Let me start by saying that I know them very well. But finding a place that always welcomes you with a smile, always kind, is not always a given. And then you ask for lactose-free milk and they have it... ask for soy milk... oat milk... well what can I say they have to do with that. Gluten-free products. The "Dalla Padella alla Brace" is a well-kept restaurant without attitude, which is why guests can eat there without being afraid of the threshold. We visited on April 23, 2025; a telephone reservation is recommended. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Italian and English are spoken. The service is experienced and attentive. The guest is then asked whether they want the mineral water chilled or at room temperature. The food, with some Ligurian specialties and products from local and regional "Slow Food Presidios", is absolutely fresh and of the best quality. Gluten-free dishes are indicated on the menu. The wine list includes numerous Ligurian and other Italian wines. The advice is unobtrusive and professional, the prices are hospitable. Overall a successful evening.

I booked on a particularly busy day but even though everything was full they still found a place for us, and I was also able to have lunch peacefully even if I had celiac disease because they were informed about the problem and provided with gluten-free pasta and crackers.

From the perspective of a German tourist: This is a simple, yet lively, and well-attended pizzeria in a backyard, frequented predominantly by locals. On a Saturday evening, we were given the last available table. The food is typical, with gluten-free options available. The quality is decent, and the service is prompt. In addition to wine by the glass, several bottles of decent regional wine are also available. We opted for an Ormeasco, as Dolcetto is called here. This review explicitly reflects the authenticity of its simplicity and normality. Anyone expecting "showmanship" is in the wrong place.

It's not the first time we go to this restaurant but unfortunately the service is no longer like it used to be. After ordering a dish that is indicated as gluten-free on the menu, we are told that in reality the sauce is gluten-free (thank goodness we had warned the waitress that my partner is allergic to gluten!!!). After 30 minutes of waiting we receive the starter and the second course at the same time. After asking for two coffees we receive one and the other after 10 minutes......and finally after waiting for the bill for 15 minutes we decide to go to the cashier to pay directly and after having reported that it was not as usual the gentleman at the checkout shrugs as if he doesn't care in the slightest. I have always recommended this restaurant but unfortunately I will not do so again. Sin

Fantastic restaurant, with great gluten-free options (not a given, and much appreciated!). Fresh and tasty fish, full plates. Special mention to the breaded prawns that won me over, and the tuna tartare that melted in your mouth. Fast and attentive service. Highly recommended, if you pass by Diano Marina don't miss it.

We chose this restaurant by looking at the menu and seeing options for food intolerances. We were pleasantly surprised. As soon as we pointed out that one of the guests was gluten intolerant, the waiter brought warm gluten-free bread. All recipes are annotated with potentially allergenic foods which is really a plus. The dishes we had were really very good, nothing to complain about, from the presentation to the service, everything was impeccable.

Loved it. The food, ambiance, staff. We had our favorite red shrimp, local olives, artichoke, oil, sea bass - all fish fresh and picked up this afternoon. I have celiac’s disease so I can’t have gluten - they made me gluten free pasta with Genoa pesto (famous to the region) - everything top notch. Couldn’t recommend more. Excellent dinner: special tagliatelle with pesto, excellent Ligurian rabbit and special mention of the desserts. Only note: pay more attention to the bread on the side, putting just two small pieces in the bags for 4 people is a bit extreme. Perhaps a focaccia or some breadsticks could best accompany the meal. Various options for celiacs.

I have come to Bussana Vecchia at least three times and I always come to eat here... the location is typical and suggestive... the staff are kind and friendly... The typical dishes are simple and clearly freshly cooked and very good....definitely if I come back I will come here again....also a good choice for my son's girlfriend who, being celiac, cannot eat anything... Cooked gluten free pasta .,...well done guys...for me 5 stars You deserve them above all for the friendliness and kindness of the girl who welcomed us and served us at the table.

Absolutely stunning restaurant!!! Fully deserving of its Michelin star rating. Four of us experienced the fixed tasting menu of 14 dishes. One of our party is gluten intolerant and they customized several of the dishes. We had 6, mostly local wines to accompany the fantastic dishes. Every dish was delicious and the wine pairings were perfect. Each dish was artistically presented and had many textural elements. All were very different and yet complemented each other to perfection. Service was wonderful and not rushed. We chatted briefly with the chef; he was very gracious. If I could give this restaurant 10 stars 🌟 I still feel it would be an understatement.
