Great gluten free burgers and buns. I use to love to go here for the dedicated gluten free fryer. However, on my last visit, that changed. The fries are now made in a shared fryer. But the burgers, wings and salads are amazing!

After my spiel, they reassured me both over the phone and in person that they were able to serve Celiacs with confidence. It took me literally two bites and a speed run to the washroom to realize that was completely untrue. I left the meal 98% untouched, and informed the server that the food had made me ill and that we needed to pay ASAP so I could go back to my private hotel bathroom. Paid for everything and left in tears - the staff didn’t even apologise or offer to comp my meal. Was a great last night for our vacation. Slay Noi Thai

The other Paia fish market on the island is far superior in taste, quality, and service. This paia however was really bad. We found hair in our food, our order was incorrect THREE TIMES. They did not take our food allergy concerns seriously when we returned the food back. The lady taking orders obviously hates her job. Service was very slow. Management needs to step up at this location & take things seriously. But we still love fish Paia, just not this location. Rice was not cooked properly or flavorful. Fish was cooked perfectly though. We hope this review is seen and taken seriously as we are repeat customers and love to support local businesses that offer gluten free and dairy free options.

Love this place. Plenty of good gluten free options that are clearly labeled on the menu. The macadamia crusted mahi is amazing and so is the chowder. On my last visit, they had a promotion where they would match up to $50 off your meal if you donated to the Hawaii food bank.

If I could do negative stars, I would. Story time. Husband & I chose this place for the gluten free burger bun option. We went to a previous restaurant that we thought was GF, it was unfortunately not. Husband already ordered/recieved his food to go. We explained this to the host & asked permission to bring husband's food in so that I could order and eat with him - THE HOST AGREED AND SAT US! We were then harassed by both the sever & manager seperately about the outside food. We explained to them both we were here for the gluten free option, and husband would order drink(s) ect. Didn't stop the manager from being rude to us AFTER we already explained our situation and were seated without resistance. As someone who worked in the restaurant industry for 10+ years, I was appalled. Train your staff better; don't agree to seat customers who are being transparent and then harass them anyways.
Don't spend your money here.
A vibrant spot with a massive menu, great outdoor seating, and generous portions perfect for sharing—definitely a favorite for travelers!

I made a reservation for 6pm on my honeymoon.
◯Meat
For my main dish, I chose Porterhouse steak.
During my stay, I went to another famous steak restaurant, and the meat at Ruth's was not only delicious, but the seasoning was relatively well-seasoned, and I could feel the restaurant's commitment to it.
◯Service
The inside of the store has a calm atmosphere and a special feeling.
We prepared a plate to celebrate our honeymoon.
A separate gluten-free menu was available. It is also recommended for people with wheat allergies.
A chill spot in a mall with tasty customizable burgers, quick service, and comfy indoor/outdoor seating.

You can choose as you like.
You can also order your favorite burger.
This time I made a gluten-free teriyaki burger 🍔🍟🥤
You can also choose how well the patty is cooked.
If you don't like red, try medium rare.
Because it's quite rare
Well done might be fine!
The shake is not sweet either
And above all, the staff
Extremely kind
We shared one burger.
They cut it neatly and divided it into pieces.
Are you okay forever? Are you okay? delicious?
Can you go? He asked me 😊
Potato 🍟 is also super delicious 🍟

Gluten free and dairy free options in hawaii! The garlic fries are A MUST TRY!! We hope more dairy free and gluten free options will be added to the menu! The marlin fish was delicious! Hoping they can modify the sauce to be dairy free in the future as we were told it would have made the dish even more delicious. Great service great atmosphere. The pickled egg was SO GOOD!! Thank you for offering gluten and dairy free options!!

We have loved coming to Duke’s for years. Our family of 11 made reservations and I was skeptical I would be able to find anything to eat with them because my baby has a ton of food allergies. Thankfully I brought her own food, but was still amazed I could find anything for myself to eat that was dairy free, egg free, gluten free, nut free…
Fiodor, I hope I am spelling his name right, is incredible. He was incredibly patient with me and helped me find something to eat. His whole
service was amazing! I got the ahi with gluten free shoyu and white rice substituted. It tasted incredible! Instead of ordering something bland with all the sauces removed I got a very tasty meal. I was very thankful for that.
The negative is for $49 it was only three small pieces of ahi. While I thoroughly enjoyed it, I was really hungry by the time we got home. For $49 you should really not go away hungry. The other dishes had plenty of food. Duke’s and really all of Waikiki has gotten so expensive though and they seem to have removed more affordable options from the menu. My cousin was bragging about the burgers and brown lager and neither are on the menu anymore. His prime rib was good, but really lean, not much fat. My husband’s huli huli chicken was fine, nothing special, but $30 something. The hula pie is to die for though. I went for a walk on the beach while they enjoyed their pie and get a break from the noise. It is very noisy under the roof area and with the loud music. It is way less noisy if you can sit in the lower outdoor area with no roof. Not sure how to get reservations down there. We have never gotten the privilege to eat in that area. Of course it is a breathtaking setting. We would go again for lunch or if the food at that price were more worth it or if they expanded their menu. The quality is fine, but not worth it at that price point. You are paying to sit on Waikiki and if that is worth it then go for it.

CELIAC REGRETS. Beautiful place, fun atmosphere, SUPER UNINFORMED staff. My gluten intolerant family member with celiac disease ordered a burger with gluten free bun. The apparently mostly teenage staff didn't know enough to warn her that there is flour IN the burger?? What kind of recipe is that?? WHY would you offer GF bun for wheat-containing patty? She felt an allergic-like reaction in her mouth a few bites in, so I went to ask about the ingredients of the burger. The cashier had to check with everyone else in the joint to find the ingredients. Only the cook seemed to know that the burger was not GF...why would you put a gluten-containing patty on a gluten-free bun?? I see that this is definitely not our smartest moment for not checking the ingredients/reviews beforehand or for trusting the non-dedignated gf menu, but this place is also irresponsible for putting allergens into a dish that shouldn't contain gluten to begin with. She will be in horrible pain all week, so much so that we might have to change our flight dates so she's not sick on the plane.

Best gluten free waffles I’ve ever eaten in my entire life!! However, a breakfast for myself, husband and our 3 kids cost us $157!! It didn’t come across as very child friendly, however, the child menu was great (for non celiacs) and the kids got good value on their meals.

Authentic Italian cuisine at a good value - a must try for visitors and locals alike. Isami our server was the highlight of our experience. You can’t go wrong with the sea food bruschetta as a starter. We ordered the squid ink pasta and truffle carbonara as our main dishes. The table-side black truffle shaving directly onto the carbonara was a nice touch. Both dishes were well balanced and incredibly flavorful. Try the gluten-free hot chocolate cake for desert. Outside seating is noisy but provides a great opportunity for people-watching.

I’ve had juices, smoothies, and açaí bowls here that are always on point. When I need a good, protein packed meal, the ahi sandwich on gluten free bread is does it. The bread is locally made and dressing on the side salad is house made. The staff isn’t super friendly - somewhat cliché of a yogi, college age health bar. Plus, they’re always kinda busy. I suppose when you’re this healthy and good, you can afford to be meh.

From someone who NEVER writes reviews...
When you pair great taste with a waiter who was on top of his game,
It makes for a great meal and what would be our normal go to for dinner out if we were locals!
The great service started with Tony being extremely knowledgeable of celiac disease to the point of understanding cross contamination and being able to tell us which foods to avoid because of it! Not something we're used to back home.
We ordered the Guava BBQ St Louis style ribs. They substituted the fries for garlic mashed without us even having to ask. The flavor of this sauce if you love a sweet sauce this one has an amazing flavor and has no spice/kick to it. Unfortunately the rack that was brought wasn't the greatest of quality of meat. We didn't ask for or expect anything to be done, we even turned down the replacement that was offered. Before we knew it, either the owner or manager was at the table insisting on making up for the toughness of the ribs. He had another half rack brought out and they were amazing.

Since we're gluten free, we only ever grab the pho. And, typically, at the KCC market since it's easier with kids. Just stopped at the restaurant for lunch on a Saturday and it was great. The broth is absolutely divine. I dream about this broth. I've tried to make broth like this and it pales in comparison (and I really know how to cook). There's some magic in the pho at P & the L and we'll keep getting it as often as we can! Even if it requires a flight from NY 👌💖

Gluten-free options are slim in this airport and with it being the holiday, seemed a lot of places were closed. Arrived here 10 mins before bfore closing and despite the chaotic atmosphere, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I ordered the half roast chicken (mixed dark and white meat) with a side salad. I skipped the vegetables, as the mashed potatoes appeared to be mixed into the green beans. While I had low expectations, this turned out to be the best gluten-free airport meal I’ve ever had, the chicken was exceptionally juicy. As a side note, I accidentally paid for someone else’s order and ended up with a complimentary salad.
For Celiacs, I would recommend visually assessing the buffet line and meat cutting area before ordering for potential cross-contact of gluten containing items.

Having a gluten allergy can make dining out difficult, but almost their entire menu can be made this way. Super friendly staff and by far best meal I had on my 2 week vacation. Incredible drinks as well.
A restaurant located on a pier should be able to cook fish. That was not our experience. My husband ordered the double fish burger without the bun as he is celiac. The burgers were dry. I ordered the swordfish which is served with mashed potatoes, green beans and carrots. The fish was dry. The potatoes were good and the vegetables were okay. Service was fine, not special. The saving grace was the entertainment. Nice Hawaiian music and we had a great table next to the outside wall so we had a view of the harbor.

We were already excited about this resteraunt for the food, but it was the service that really blew us away. We had a few dietary restrictions in our group and they were wickedly accommodating, bringing a number of alternatives for our gluten free member and triple checking dishes for the mint. Chris was friendly and attentive and knew so much. Definitely go for the fish and specials, but we loved everything. Thanks for a wonderful Anniversary, Fete!

I came to the store on the bus number 2 after KCC market on Saturday. It was crowded with locals and tourists from mainland America, but we were able to be guided right away.
The staff worked very efficiently, and everyone was friendly and nice!
The breakfast menu is very different from Denny's in Japan. This chain store is very nostalgic for people who have studied abroad in the United States. Overall, the menu is hearty, but for those over 55 years old, there is a menu with slightly smaller portions. There is also a gluten-free menu. I-Hop has gluten-free pancakes, but Denny's doesn't have gluten-free pancakes. I'm just grateful that it's displayed. The egg scramble had lots of cheese and was delicious. Of course you can get refills of hot coffee.
The restroom was also clean and I used it.
A real tasty, classy place. Had some business in Chinatown, finished early and decided to stop in for a drink and a pupu which became a couple drinks and a 4 course dinner. What a treat. Our server Desmond, was most attentive and helpful, it was fun eating in the atrium of the Tower and the food was oh so good. The menu included good gluten free options, both in number and taste. Felt like a European eating experience, will return with guests for sure.

We really enjoyed Et Al. The service was 5/5!!! I got the Kamakua mushroom risotto and had them make it gluten free with added chicken. It was good! The chicken was definitely dry though.
My boyfriend got the burger and he really liked it!!
I like that it’s inside a supermarket. Really nice atmosphere and ambience, reasonable prices.
Food is good & well presented (and convenient), but the majority of the sandwiches on the board are pre-made, so if you request gluten-free bread (a reasonable +$1), they will throw away the bread from the pre-made sandwich and use the fillings. So much unnecessary food waste is disappointing, and would make me hesitant to return.
That being, my egg-provolone-spinach sandwich on sprouted grain (wheat) bread was tasty and toasty, a sandwich, what. There are also açai bowls, if that’s your thing.

F* yeah is my impression! Our server Jerrod is a delight, the spot is super cool, full of people, has great ambiance, and (on Friday and Saturday) live music. It was refreshing and so chill, we enjoyed a couple of hours there.
We also stuffed ourselves with food, the starters are quite big and we did the mains too. Everything was delicious, I had the best burger in a moment, cannot stop thinking about it. The beef bowl was a bit fatty but other than that it was a success all over.
The menu doesn't have marked gluten free options so it's necessary to ask and clarify, but they have gluten free buns.

Overall the food and drinks were terrible. Bonus there is a gluten free burger and fries, don't get too excited, it was served on a dry bun (that fell apart when I picked it up for the first bite) with flavorless meat and brisket and no sauce offered. Their usual sauce is BBQ and not GF so I had to flag down the server for some mayo at least. Atmosphere was busy and there is a beautiful view but also birds pooping above us on the umbrellas and tables/chairs. Server was friendly. Mojito was terrible. Overpriced because of location. 0/10 would not recommend.
Da Spot is a hidden gem in town. It has delicious, healthy affordable dishes at fast "junk" food prices and speed. The portions are plentiful so even a $6 mini plate will likely fill you up. Regular plates are $8 and combos (choice of 2 entrees) are only a couple of bucks more (same or less than McD combo meals). Plates include rice and salad or you can get all rice or all salad.
Meals are very good and include lots of gluten-free and vegan options. Yummy chicken, fish, lamb, and beef with healthy veggies, herbs, and sauces -- all ready to eat in or take out. Made-to-order gyros are available too. Tastes are from around the world -- Egyptian, Moroccan, Thai, Greek, etc. -- so there is something for everyone. The baklava is a great way to top off your meal for only $1.50. The smoothies ($3 small, $5 large) are incredible too and about half the price of Lanikai Juice or similar places. There's plenty of room to eat in the dining area and parking is available in the restaurant's reserved lot around the corner or in the Longs lot across the street.
The food at Helena's it's great. The price is very reasonable and the portion sizes is fair enough. Highly recommend this place. Gluten Free food available (they only have 3 dishes with gluten on their menu).

Celiac / dairy free people be wary. Went to this place twice today as my partner is celiac and dairy free. First experience at lunch was very good - allergens were noted and correct order made. We were pleased so decided to return the same evening for a take out. Different story in the evening, celiac / gluten free was missed initially and the order had normal bread - glad I checked before leaving. they went back to the kitchen to remake the sandwich. Mistakes do happen, and that’s fine as long as it is corrected.
Despite asking for gluten free and dairy free again, the replacement sandwich had pesto spread on the GF bread which wasn’t on the ingredient list of the sandwich. I suspect it was a genuine mistake again, but when I got back to the hotel, my partner had to go hungry as we weren’t sure what was in the pesto and Nalu had closed for the night.
Great place, and tasty food otherwise.

Red Elephant Thai Cuisine" is often praised for its delicious, authentic Thai flavors, and it stands out for several reasons. Here's why some people might consider it one of the best:
1 Authentic Thai Flavors: The restaurant typically focuses on traditional Thai recipes, with a variety of dishes that feature the vibrant, bold flavors of Thailand—spicy, sour, sweet, and salty—all balanced beautifully.
2 Fresh Ingredients: Many fans of Red Elephant emphasize the freshness of the ingredients used, especially in dishes like Thai curry, pad Thai, and stir-fries. Fresh herbs, spices, and vegetables elevate the flavors.
3 Diverse Menu Options: Red Elephant often offers a wide range of choices for different tastes and dietary preferences, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and meat-lovers' options. This diversity allows it to cater to a broad audience.
4 Consistent Quality: One of the hallmarks of great restaurants is consistency, and many regular patrons return to Red Elephant because the quality of food and service is reliable every time.
5 Great Atmosphere: Many locations focus on creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that complements the experience of dining in Thailand, making it more than just a meal but a cultural experience.
If these elements align with your tastes, Red Elephant could definitely feel like the "best" restaurant for Thai cuisine. Of course, the "best" restaurant is subjective and depends on personal preferences, but it’s certainly a favorite for many.
