Absolutely wonderful! My family tried their food for the first time a few days ago to celebrate my daughter‘s (celiac) birthday. I can’t tell you how wonderful it was to see her experience, without any worry, this amazing food. Aside from flat-out rejoicing in the fact that it’s certified gluten-free, the fusion of Indian and Mexican is heaven, and beautifully presented.
We returned just 4 days later for a second round, we hadn’t had enough. Tried a different assortment from the menu and found even more new favorites! ( Actually, if everything on the menu blows you away, is it still safe to say they’re favorites?😆)
I reached out via email to the owner to congratulate him on this amazing food and he responded personally with a call to thank me. Truly an amazing place and our new favorite restaurant, hands-down!!!
Experience vibrant flavors and unique presentations alongside an impressive tequila selection, perfect for sharing with friends.

Michelle and her team did a phenomenal job catering my Baby Shower this weekend! She worked with me to develop a menu in advance, and prepared light, delicious offerings for my guests. She easily accommodated various dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian options, peanut free, etc.).
The real show stopper was the cake. WOW! Not only was it flavorful, but the decorations fit perfectly with the theme of the shower (woodland).
I would absolutely recommend Michelle for any catering gig, especially those that need to be gluten free. Thank you Busy Bee!

Our extended family visited Bandanas in June and we had the best time! Our daughter has celiac and we saw awesome gluten-free options on the menu. They were extremely careful with our her food and showed genuine concern. We spoke with the owner on the way out and he shared with us that a family member of his also had celiac and it was important to him to make sure they offered gluten free options along with taking the proper precautions in the kitchen.
Our entire table loved their food and the service was super friendly. We cannot wait to go back next summer! Stop-in the next time you're in town! 🌮
Chill vibes with a lively atmosphere, great drinks, and a menu packed with unique flavors and visually stunning dishes.

Lobster roll was good. They have a gluten free bun. Tacos were really bad. Shells were cold and they just didn't have any flavor. oysters were inedible.

Very kid friendly, such kind employees and our waitress was beyond caring. They have gluten free options and they taste just as delicious. We got the chips and guacamole and the chips are gluten free. We ordered our meal and the food was done entirely in just about ten minutes and the food was delivered by a waitress who was just as kind as our own. On a Saturday night we got a table right away and we did not have to wait for a table for three, and the environment is very homey. In addition it’s located right next to the beach so it’s worth going to. They have tvs and the windows are open, and the Phillies were on the tvs. This is a good family friendly place to visit for a good meal.
Enjoy a super clean and vibrant spot offering fresh, customizable meals with plenty of choices for different diets, perfect for a quick and healthy bite.

Well said by Emma. As a local as well me and my wife use to love to come here. She is gluten free and we loved the fact that she could get salmon over greens and vegetables. Now with this menu change there is no chance. Prices are sky high I don’t think I can justify 15 dollars for a chicken sandwich :/ even with inflation. If I were to order a side it will be over 20$ for a sandwich and a side. Nachos are $15, the new menu does not match the restaurant. Hopefully things change one day but for now you have lost two more customers. It’s sad because we actually loved this place.

Don’t count on the kitchen being open past 9 pm on a Saturday. My husband and I drove over an hour to try their gluten free seafood. We called before leaving and they told us the kitchen closes at 10, sometimes even 10:30. We got there at 9:30 and the kitchen was closed. Now a celiac stuck in Atlantic Highlands looking for food. Highly disappointed and will be notifying my gluten free friends from NY not to bother making the trip.
Always a go-to for me! I called ahead before ordering delivery and the woman on the phone was very accommodating for my celiac. She said the kitchen will change their gloves and use foil on the grill for my order. Gluten free items on the menu are marked!
Colorful vibes and fresh chips create a lively atmosphere, perfect for enjoying great service and delicious meals.

Colorful venue, great service and clean. They have gluten free options. Our waitress was awesome, very knowledgeable and thoughtful, double checked my order and recommended gf options. My fish taco was great. The chips were so fresh that we finished the entire basket. 😋
Authentic homemade vegan Mexican fare with exciting daily specials; just be sure to order ahead due to the small kitchen.

My family is vegan, and my husband and I can't have gluten. Everytime we go to the beach, we have to google nearby places to eat. This place has no indoor seating so just be sure to order in advance and make plans to eat at a different location.
Stumble upon this gem where happy hour vibes meet a menu packed with delicious, freshly made options and unique, thoughtful details.

when looking for gluten free options, how amazing is it to find a spot that labels the few menu items that *have* gluten instead of everything that is gluten free because there are SO MANY OPTIONS! my chicken tacos were superb, and kid loved the corn-tortilla quesadillas with guacamole

absolutely in love with this place. i recently moved away, but i always get it when i’m back in town. literally cannot recommend it enough. i’m even gluten free (allergy) and have never had an issue with food from here. my go-tos are the tacos (corn tortilla of course) and chips with queso. always delicious!
Like most (but not all) chipotles, this one keeps rice, chicken (sometimes steak), cheese, lettuce, corn, etc. in the back that hasn’t been contaminated. Ask before you order and they are happy to serve you from the back.
Note: the beans (both red and black) and hot salsa have been suspect for gluten
Note: salads and bowls are gluten free, anything utilizing tortillas are not (e.g, tacos, quesadillas, etc.), the chips are also not free from cross.
Enjoy breathtaking water views and a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for a laid-back evening with family and friends.

Great view. Expensive (little side salad $5). Great drinks. decent portions. If you don't like (or can't eat) garlic don't go here. EVERYTHING is loaded with garlic. Garlic mashed with almost every entree (no substitutions), garlic on the chef's vegetables, garlic in the stuffed seafood. Why so much garlic? Dinner was overall good, but it was because our server Ally went above and beyond for me. I have a garlic allergy (yes I know, awful) and I'm gluten free. She went to the other restaurant side and got me a potato herself after the kitchen couldn't accommodate a substitution. Filet mignon was good. I was hoping for seafood but seemed everything had gluten in it. breaded this, stuffed that, etc. I don't recommend going here if you have dietary restrictions because without the fantastic service from Ally I would've not been able to eat much.

Everything was amazing! From the food to the service to the ambience, we loved our dinner this past weekend! My husband and I have been wanting to check out one willow all summer and we finally did! The dining experience was great in its entirety. We first shared the calamari which was gluten free then for our entrees I got the fried eggplant and the watermelon burrata salad and my husband got the swordfish. All the food was delicious!! We also got a side of truffle fries and they were really good too! We also got drinks, those were tasty too! Highly recommend this waterfront restaurant

Delicious, fresh, creative and well proportioned food choices. The Mahi is good over a salad or on tacos, and choices can be made 100% gluten free. We tried them for our first time on a night when they were super busy, and the staff was doing their best to keep up with orders and were still very pleasant to all customers. Highly recommend!

Super nice staff! I had accidentally ordered my tacos with flour tortillas and I have a gluten allergy. They took them back and gave me new tacos on a bit of lettuce. Delicious food, easy ordering, highly recommend for a quick bite.

Had so much fun going there and the food hands down 10/10. The fact that you can build your own taco and it comes out so perfect is amazing. It’s super helpful when you can select what you want when you’re dairy and gluten free. I will def be back

BEWARE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES!!!! Cornbread was labeled vegan and there was regular milk in it and regular butter on top. The service was not attentive to allergies and does not understand the ramifications of mislabeling a meal as vegan/gluten free. Please be careful if you eat here and have allergies! Do not recommend.

My celiac husband and I loved this place! The food was delicious, and the staff was very helpful and even creative in preparing a gluten free meal for my husband. We were sad to hear the chips are fried in a shared fryer, but appreciate the chefs honesty before it was too late.
We hope that they will expand on their gluten free options so my husband and I can enjoy more delicious meals here. Maybe some day we'll see them on the Find Me Gluten Free app!
Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the buttermilk fried chicken. Look out for the specials too. Great Gluten free options for the girlfriend. Friendly/fast/delicious
This is the second time we’ve been here! The staff is super friendly and accommodating, I can’t have wheat or gluten and they’re able to switch the flour tortillas to corn! Shout out to our server Khaliah! She’s wonderful!!!
My daughter has Celiac Disease and two employees at the Bubbakoos, Route 37, Toms River location assured me that the wraps they gave me were corn. As soon as I walked up to the counter to order, I told the employee that she has Celiac Disease, asked the employee to change her gloves, and explained that due to my daughter’s condition, she can only have corn wraps. The female employee said, "Yes, we have corn wraps." When they handed them to me in foil, I asked again, "These are corn, not flour, right?" A male employee then said, "Yes." As my daughter unwrapped the wraps, I saw that they looked like flour. I tasted them and they were clearly flour. I asked the male employee again, "These are corn?" as I pointed at them. He said, "yes," and the female employee overheard and agreed with him. I then explained that I tasted them and they are flour. She then shrugged and said, "Yes, they are flour." No apology. I was shocked. If my daughter ingested gluten at their store, it would have resulted in 4 hours of projectile vomiting and horrific stomach pain. It happens everytime she ingests gluten. These employees need to be properly trained in the seriousness of food allergies and the consequences of their carelessness.

It was ok - good enough food on the boardwalk. However it is NOT gluten free. They advertise GF on the menu and online, but they cook all the food on the same grill. Avoid if you can’t tolerate cross contamination.

Well worth a 5 star review. The food we ordered was SOO GOOD. I got a (gluten free) quesadilla. It was more like a giant soft taco, but it was so good. It melted in my mouth with all the flavors. My gf got tounge tacos ( not my thing) but she said they were great. Next time im in the area ill eat here again for sure.
Enjoy a cozy day out in the fire pit area, sipping on a margarita flight, but be prepared for a slightly pricy bill.

Stopped in for a quick lunch while running errands and had the chicken chimichanga with pineapple habanero salsa. Lunch was served quickly and on point! It was cooked perfectly to order, and had a nice little kick from the salsa. Have eaten here several times, and even more takeouts, and they have never disappointed! They offer a nice selection of alcoholic beverages as well, with some great freshly made margaritas! The staff is very helpful and friendly. Tacos are a must, and the gluten free quesadillas are a nice option for anyone that needs gluten free. Another great choice is the house burger - a half pound burger fine with a little twist!!
Enjoy a vibrant brunch scene with unique options and outdoor seating, plus a solid drink lineup that's sure to impress!

We have been coming for brunch for years and have always had a great meal with exceptional service. We prefer to sit at the bar. The high tops in the bar area have stools with no backs to them, which are not comfortable to us. Bartenders are always so nice and provide excellent service. This week, we tried the kimchi fried rice, pretzel bites, and hot wings. The kimchi rice had a nice spice to it with a runny fried egg on top. For $10 you get a huge bowl of crispy pretzel bites with everything but the bagel seasoning on top. Their wings are not breaded, but crispy and meaty with the perfect amount of sauce. All of our food came out hot and quickly. There are a few gluten free and vegetarian options on the menu. We have tried the chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and burger on previous trips and have loved all of them. There is a separate dining area away from the bar, which can be noisy. On nice days you can sit outside in outside bar area and table seating.
Excellent gluten-free menu. Almost everything on the menu was GF. There is a separate GF frier for items, so patrons can feel good about not being contaminated. They also had lots of V options.
I absolutely love this place and the people with all my heart! Best authentic Mexican restaurant in NJ hands down! Tons of Gluten free options you don't see many at many other Mexican restaurants!
