While strolling around Myogadani, I suddenly came across the ``biossa gluten-free bakery specialty store''. Attracted by the word gluten-free, I decided to buy the "salted butter roll" to try it out. When I took a bite, I couldn't help but smile at how delicious it was. The rich flavor of butter and the perfect amount of salt spreads in your mouth, and the chewy texture is irresistible. Butter rolls are delicious enough to eat on their own, but they also go well with a variety of dishes and side dishes. You can imagine what kind of combinations you would enjoy. There are many delicious bakeries in Myogadani, so if the bread at the first shop you stumble across is so delicious, you may be satisfied without trying other bakeries. However, if you definitely add ``Biossa gluten-free bakery specialty store'' to your repertoire, you will be able to live a richer baking life. The bread at this shop is completely gluten-free (rice flour bread). When you think of gluten-free bread, you have the impression that you have to compromise on taste and texture, but this is not the case at all with the salted butter rolls here. In fact, I found it to be so perfectly delicious that I didn't even realize it was gluten-free. When you come to Myogadani, be sure to stop by ``biossa gluten-free bakery specialty store.'' I'm sure you'll be waiting for an encounter with delicious bread that will change your concept of gluten-free.

As someone with celiac’s, it’s amazing when you can find a place that has such delicious treats that are gluten free! We stopped here after visiting Senso-ji temple. The shop is small and very cute. The staff was super friendly. And the cake was so soft and perfectly subtly sweet. We added the whipped cream which made this a heavenly food experience that I’ll be thinking about for a long time. Thank you!

This place is amazing. A quick walk from Kichijōji station, there's several pleasant spots to tuck in and eat. My wife is celiac and she had a life-restoring Ratatouille moment of eating a cake and creampuff unlike anything she had eaten since she was young in Europe and able to have gluten. Thank you so much for a great treat!

I wanted to buy gluten-free bread, so I went in just after lunch on a weekday. There was a cute, friendly female staff member at the back of the counter preparing the bread? Making the dough? There didn't seem to be any customers at the cafe. It said it was a cafe, so I was worried I'd be able to buy just the bread, but I was able to. The shop is located a little way down the road across from MUJI, across from 246. From Takashimaya, it's just past Tsubame Grill and on the left. From Futako Tamagawa Station, it's about a 5-6 minute walk. I don't know if it's intentional, but the feel of the shop, from the exterior and interior, to the slightly dark atmosphere and concept, is very British (those who have been to England should know...) I didn't call out to the staff, but they stopped what they were doing and came to the register, probably because they saw me pick up a loaf of bread from the display, so I was able to pay smoothly. Rice flour bread is sold in tiny miniature loaves, and the price varies depending on the type, but it's about 400 to 500 yen per loaf. From what I saw, there were four kinds: plain, sweet sake, chocolate, and raisin. In terms of size, one loaf is about the size of a hot dog bun, I think. So, one person can eat a whole loaf in no time. The bread is rice flour bread, and the inside is chewy. The crust is crispy and very delicious. The inside is chewy, but it doesn't have the heavy, dense feeling that rice flour bread often has, and I think it's relatively fluffy for rice flour bread. It was my first time there, but I really liked it. I want to go again. There aren't many bakeries around here that make gluten-free bread, so I hope they keep doing their best.

I ate here no more than 20 minutes ago and it was wonderful. It’s difficult to find gluten free places in Japan, especially along with being vegan - This restaurant was lovely, the food was great and the staff are so kind, friendly and sweet. We had the lunch plates (where you basically get to try a bit of everything, everywhere should do that am I right?!), donut, chocolate waffle and regular waffle - Everything was so nice, I’m vegetarian and my partner is a meat eater, we loved all of it but had opposite favourites to one another so it’s definitely worth a try! Enjoy everyone!

Ayrton Senna section and philosophy was brilliant. Would highly recommend for great authentic Indian food and able to cater for Coeliac, and plenty of vegetarian options.

This place is absolutely perfect in everything. The ambience is super relaxing and the food is super tasty. If you're allergic to gluten and want to relax and eat good food - this is the place. Also, they give you a tarot message with each meal you buy. If you're a fan of tarot or a tarot reader, this is a very nice detail :).

I couldn’t believe there was such a famous sweets store in Kameido! I ordered a chiffon whole cake. It's so delicious that you can't believe it's gluten-free (rice flour). Plus the sweetness of the fruit. Above all, the deliciousness of fresh cream! The best in everything!

Delicious taco bowl, perfectly seasoned and it was gluten free which is hard to find in Japan! There are a few other gluten free items on the menu too :) well worth the visit.

Really loved this place! I’m a very sensitive coeliac but despite the small risk of cross contamination I was totally fine and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I even ordered a dessert crepe afterwards seeing as the ice cream was gf too! Service was quick and the staff were lovely - I was informed that they had cleaned the plate they cook the crepes on but that they couldn’t guarantee it was safe - which was nice to see they understand the severity of coeliac and still try to accomodate! Safe to say it was well worth the slight risk

I can't do more than give it a 5 for everything, the chef is super nice and most of the dishes are gluten free. They come marked and everything. An experience in a super special place, in a basement on a secluded street

Probably one of my fav locations of theirs. Kura sushi chain is great! They have an allergen menu online that you can use to guide you and order directly from the screen. It can be a but difficult to navigate getting a table but its yummy and really affordable. There are also a lot of locations so it became a good backup option to have while travelling.

The French bakery at Ginza No. 6 has a variety of items, with a delicate texture and strong gluten. The chewing process is a little laborious, but the aftertaste is fragrant and long-lasting. I don’t know how long I haven’t eaten such delicious bread. Although there were a lot of people queuing up at the checkout, the cashier was very systematic and quickly digested the flow of people without waiting for a long time.

I had a late brunch here with a friend. I am gluten sensitive, and she is lactose intolerant, so we thought that this place would be perfect for our sweet tooth cravings. Unfortunately, the pancake options are just two, and, if I may say, they are also quite expensive considering the average pancake price in town. That said, I am aware that in this society, finding allergens free food options in restaurants is not only extremely hard but also a quite expensive thing. We were, of course, interested in trying their limited/fall edition 焼き芋 pancake set and, leaving aside the fact that, as always, it looked really pretty but mostly tasted like sugar, the worst thing was actually the waiter's behaviour which was kinda rude and looked bored and annoyed most of the time. Considering the food price, he could've at least pretended to smile a little bit, right? Don't know if we want to come back again.

A curry shop located a little off Sunshine Street. From the entrance, I go down a flashy, narrow staircase to the basement. The inside of the store has a fun atmosphere with manga on shelves and posters. The chair is made of logs and leather and is very bulky lol The curry seems to be a gluten-free curry, and the roux takes two weeks to complete. Spice curry with vegetables, fruits, and 26 types of Chinese herbal medicine. No white sugar, milk, or trans fat. ◆Mushroom curry (¥1,054) ・Dry (normal curry shop dry) ・Gluten-free glutinous rice The curry roux has the sourness of vegetables, the fruitiness of fruit, and the punch of spice. It has a particularly strong sour taste. After eating it, the spices left a feeling of heat in my stomach, making it perfect for the cold winter. The mushrooms were plentiful and delicious. I think when I ordered curry, I was given one potato for free. It's been a while since I've been there, but I thought it had evolved into a buffet style, bar-like snack menu, cocktails, and more. What is Mouyan Curry (quoted from Instagram) When founder Chitaro Tsuji was a sports trainer, he wondered what foods were good for the body. As a result of repeated research and human experiments, we arrived at a ``spice-flavored simmered mixture of large amounts of various vegetables and fruits.'' I've been looking for a delicious birthday cake that is gluten-free. This cheesecake was mellow and delicious with little cheese flavor. It was also well received by my family. I would like to purchase this cake again in the future as a celebration cake. 【request】 I would be even happier if I could choose a gluten-free birthday plate.

I'm glad there aren't many restaurants with a wide variety of gluten-free menu items. I ordered a half and half set. The cheesecake was a taste I'd never had before, it was salty and I couldn't really say it was tasty. I was hoping for a regular cheesecake so it was disappointing. Next time I'll try a different cake.

I would absolutely recommend this to other people who are gluten free / celiac. As a celiac I have eaten here twice and they are very helpful when making food that is gluten free. They have an allergy list on their menu which allows you to see all the dishes that are wheat free. Noting they do mention gluten as it is not a formal allergy in Japan. They do offer gluten free bread though! Additionally, they were able to provide meal substitutes - removing a certain sauce - to make it wheat / gluten free. However, do not worry as I have eaten here twice - October 2024 and April 2025 - and as a symptomatic celiac I have had no reaction to it. If you are vegetarian / vegan this may be quite hard to have a full meal here as most dishes involve meat of some sort.

Mexican is my favourite cuisine and this was comfortably the best Mexican I have ever eaten. The food was so fresh, with a lot of choice. Also gluten-free friendly options, which we found rare in Japan. The location is very small, only 6 indoor seats, so may be worth keeping this in mind. Otherwise, couldn’t recommend enough
