This is by far the best vegan and gluten free pizza I have ever had. The crust was soo fluffy and thick and soft and delicious. The cheese actually tasted like cheese. Where do I begin… Absolutely the best of the best of the best!!! I have never experienced better service anywhere than I do at this shop. Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful. The owner, Melissa, is such a sweetheart — you can feel the love she puts into her handmade truffles. I love that everything is gluten free and vegan. I never have to worry about gifting to friends or clients. I have so many favorites; from the whiskey truffles to chocolate covered potato chips … can’t get enough. Oh —and the free full size samples!! I mean really!? The generosity there is beyond. Customer for life!!

Best patio for winter so far! Just wow. It’s like being on a magical porch in your friends yard with twinkle lights and art. Has a backyard vibe. However it’s heated and completely enclosed. Perfect for chilly, rainy or windy days. Best part is it’s dog friendly. They have two rented outdoor patios. There is a fire pit and two tables with chair backs. The rest are picnic tables. Our dog was convinced the metal fish art were friends to play with. Fantastic ambiance. Used to having to sit in the freezing cold to enjoy dinner with our dog, but not here! Don’t be intimidated by darkness of fish and chips. It’s perfectly flavored and lightly breaded and melts in your mouth with locally sourced tender rock fish. Husband also really enjoyed the burger. Lemonade was house made. They have gluten free options here too. We came on a Monday night and it had a chill vibe. Wasn’t too packed and the music was mellow and it was easy to carry on a conversation.

This was a great restaurant experience. We had a group of 8 and half of us showed up early and had some cocktails on their patio. Once we were all there we asked if they could seat 8 people and they were able put something together in just a few minutes. The host and waiter were very nice and helpful. The food was amazing. Most of my group got sandwiches or tortas and they had high praise. They regrettably don't have a gluten-free torta option 😞. They did have amazing vegetarian options. I did get a bowl with carnitas and it was still super good. I will definitely eat here again.

So good! Their pepper bacon was delicious and their latte was perfect. They also have some decent gluten free options! And my friend, who's a bit indecisive about food, asked the waitress about her thoughts and she was able to help them make a decision that they really enjoyed! Highly, highly recommend.

One of the best gluten free sandwiches in Portland. I had a Teagan with turkey and added avocado and giardiniera. A little on the messy side, but who cares. The GF bread held together really well, and I think it was placed in the griddle with a little butter. Such a nice touch. A little pricey for what feels like a super casual spot ($20 after adding GF bread) but the flavor?? Worth it. 10/10 will be back again.

Church Bar is born again and this revival is well worth the wait! The NEW Church Bar was resurrected and opened on April 15, 2022 I am in awe of the new owners (Lauren and Anthony) for all their dedication to beautifying Church Bar!! They have put heir heart and souls into completely updating the interior and rebranding Church. Their attention to detail is glorious! Their carefully created cocktail list is diverse and offers a little bit of something for everyone. They also have a wide spectrum of draft beers as well as seltzer and cider offerings. Their daily slushies are joyous and tasty! Their food menu is great with a little of something for everyone! I LOVE everything on the menu and trust me, I’ve tried everything!! I love to start with the delectable deviled eggs and the tantalizing sacred nuts! Mercy me! The ribletts and Shoestring Sweet Onions (V/GF) are two of my absolute favorite go-tos! The shoestring fries are thinly sliced onions marinated in buttermilk,dredged in seasoned flour then fried, served with ranch dressing. Every time I eat them, I am certain that I am in culinary heaven. The Fried Spaghetti Squash (Roasted spaghetti squash, herbs, mixed cheese, leeks served with smoked tomato sauce) is another favorite of mine! They have plenty of gluten-free and vegan options available. They also have occasional food pop-up such as Trinidad and ??? Food. The new owners had it custom coded yes one more unique beautiful aspect of the newly reborn Church Bar! The “confessional” is a photo booth. We’ve made so many fun memories in the “confessional” Church has a huge array DJ’s that provide lively dancing music every night. They have extended their hours and hours constantly reinventing themselves. They’ve added trivia on Wednesday nights and they have a fairly regular stream of pop up food options. Follow them on social media for updates, special events, pop-up info The revival of Church Bar is awe-inspiring! Huge shout out to all the friends, family and customers that continue to support Church Bar - especially during this seemingly never ending pandemic purgatory. I beseech you to join me in helping making Church Bar hugely successful. I have faith that their efforts will payoff in dividends and they will have faithful followers. Truly delightful! Everything we ordered was beautifully cooked and so flavorful. I would highly recommend the espresso with sweetened condensed milk - such a tasty treat! Also had some good gluten free options.

We went for coffee at Seven Virtues the other day. The coffee was delicious. Being GF and having a celiac in the family I was delighted to find out that all their house made treats were GF. The berry bar was amazing! Better than anything I’ve gotten at GEM. They do offer regular and GF bagels. The cashier was very knowledgeable and helpful about cross contamination with gluten. I think they should get a second toaster for GF bagels. I’m excited to bring along my GF/celiac family members soon.

Their vegan pho and garden rolls are 10/10! I love how they prepared the tofu in the garden rolls - very unique and tasty. And the tofu in their vegan pho was literally perfect and not overcooked like it is at so many other places. They were also super accommodating of my gluten allergy, letting me know right away that the peanut sauce contains gluten and offering a delicious gluten-free sweet sauce instead. Reasonably priced for the flavors, portion sizes and friendly, attentive staff. Thank you!

To call this place a hidden gem is so cliche, but it is truly hidden, and truly a gem, so what else can I say?My Korean friend said it tasted like her mom's cooking, so she felt it was very authentic, and everything I had was delicious. They also bent over backwards to accommodate my vegan, gluten-free diet. Excellent food, great service, and a lovely ambience with a small indoor seating area opening to an outdoor courtyard combine to make this a lucky find. If you can find it and get in, and you enjoy Korean food, you'll be happy you made the effort.

Absolutely the best bagels ever! The plain bagel with sea salt and the pumpernickel are my favorite. They make a mean breakfast sandwich with a lot of cheese and decent meat selection including pastrami and roast beef. They usually have gluten free and vegan options for cookies and bars as well that aren't bad at all. Not the best place to hang out and eat in, but definitely good for a quick bite. Very busy on Saturday mornings- be prepared to wait s few extra minutes.

I think it is better than Ken’s. (Allegedly one of the worlds best pizza places) Grana was able to fit us in even though we didn’t have a reservation. It was still a long wait but it was definitely worth it. The flour is imported from Italy and it goes through a three day process to break down the gluten. My gluten free Fiance could eat the pizza with no problems. Definitely feels like Portland finally has an authentic Italian pizza place now!

got the sandwich I was hoping for, thanks! there was a little bit of accidental onion on the no onion sandwich (I'm somewhat allergic to onion but didn't mention that, just said no onion) but they did wipe down the counter before making the gluten free sandwich to minimize crossover and I appreciate that. the atmosphere could have been more welcoming, there are big signs saying the bathrooms are only for paying customers, and as a disabled person it's always disappointing to see bathrooms that could be accessible to people that need them closed or put behind a paywall like that. no masks on anyone, I hardly expect it these days the way people act but it's still always disappointing

AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! I know Portland is a pizza town but this New Yorker hasn't been impressed with most spots here. I finally got around to trying this place, and it was amazing! This pizza is SO TASTY. When my husband and I took our first bite we both said, "WOW!" The crust was somehow but crispy and chewy at the same time. The sauce was super flavorful and the fresh basil was perfect. They have a cold fermented crust which is easier for people who are gluten free. Also, the staff was super friendly. I finally found my favorite pizza spot in Portland!

Always great beer, but especially nice during the pandemic due to the large open areas and ample outdoor seating. There are even heaters for the colder days. Staff was very friendly. No gluten free burger buns if that is something your into.

Lemongrass has some stinking fantastic Thai food, and they're very careful about being gluten free (make sure you notify your server if this is important to you)! Cash only, so don't expect to pay by card. They have an ATM in the establishment if you get stuck.
