This diner is a godsend for those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about safe preparation and the food is solid. Highly recommend!
This was the best gluten free burger I've ever had. Gluten free buns aren't normally very good but this was amazing. My wife got one of their salmon entrees and loved it as well. We got in faster than we thought and our server was attentive and friendly.

If you’re looking for an old time charming diner this is the place to go, no bells and whistles…just outstanding service & super delicious food. We have food sensitivities and Cora (our server) was very attentive to our dietary needs. The other servers were friendly as well. The menu was easy to read( not overwhelming), gluten free options are available and these items were highlighted on the menu. We will definitely be back soon!
Chimney Rock takes food sensitivities very seriously. As a parent of a child with celiac disease, Chimney Rock provides a safe place for my child to eat and feel like any other kid.
When we originally called to talk to them about how they handle food, the first person we spoke to answered confidently that they properly separate food prep areas for people with celiac or other gluten sensitive conditions. This told me they train their staff on this subject. They have a ton of gluten free meals, including pizza.
The first time we ate here after my child's diagnosis we had so many questions. Our waitress was patient, wrote down everything, double checked with the kitchen and management, and came back to our table multiple times to make sure everything we asked was answered to our satisfaction.
Honestly I can't say enough good things about Chimney Rock Inn. We ate here a bunch of times before celiac and it's been good food and service consistently over the years. Eat here. Bring your family. You'll not regret it.
Love it here because of all the gluten free options, and as a celiac it’s so appreciated! Axel was our server this time around and she was super sweet and provided good service. 10/10! ❣️
Almost killed our friend with celiac. Got there at 6:30, didn’t receive food until 8:00. Food received was cold and not appetizing. Never came over to tell us what the issue was and left us hungry.
It’s very difficult to find restaurants with gluten-free items. It’s much appreciative that they have gluten-free waffles and pancakes on the food was good.
I remember back when they were half the size and it is clear why they had to double! The food is excellent and they even have a gluten free/vegan menu!
Love true foods ! Waitress was very accommodating for my daughter order who just wanted a gluten free pizza with red sauce and vegan cheese . Love the lavender matcha ! I always order that and so many vegan options. First time trying the vegan cookie and ice cream was delish !
Brigantine is such a cute town to get away from when staying in AC. I love coming here because they have a wide range of things to eat for breakfast to dinner, and they’re accommodating to gluten free diners. They also allowed my pup outside and brought her chicken breast that I ordered in a doggy bowl. It definitely feels like a homey locals spot and I always look forward to visiting!
Upon arriving, we received a not very warm welcome which set a not nice tone for the evening. However, things quickly became a bit disappointing. When being seated, the host mentioned he saw the Resy notes indicating someone in our party was plant-based and gluten-free and asked if we’d like that menu. If it was already noted in the reservation, it would’ve made sense to have those menus ready at the table or automatically offered. Otherwise — what’s the point of specifying it ahead of time?
Our server, Mary, unfortunately wasn’t very knowledgeable about the plant-based, vegan, or gluten-free options. She seemed unsure of the menu, had to double-check multiple times, and lacked confidence in answering basic questions about ingredients and modifications. It’s frustrating as a guest when you take the time to add dietary preferences in advance specifically to avoid situations like this.
The veggie soup was far too salty and unenjoyable, though the eggplant parmesan was actually pretty good. The Saratoga still water isn’t a personal favorite and it was the only option, so I had to add several lemon wedges just to make it palatable.
The most disappointing moment was when I asked about plant-based desserts. Mary seemed confused by the request until my mom clarified by saying “vegan dessert,” which then prompted her to bring over a tray of pre-made dessert shooters to choose from. Honestly, that felt off-putting. Who knows how long those had been sitting out or how many tables they’d been to that night. It just wasn’t an appealing or thoughtful presentation, especially for a restaurant that prides itself on seasonal and fresh offerings.
The restaurant was nearly empty given it was the 4th of July, so it would’ve been an ideal opportunity for attentive service. I’m hoping this was just an off night, perhaps due to holiday staffing. I might give them another try on a regular evening to see if it was an isolated issue — but based on this visit, it definitely missed the mark.
My experience here was definitely average; 2.5 stars seems more accurate that 2. It looked nice from the outside and and the menu offerings looked good when we previewed online,
FOOD: my gluten free buttermilk chicken sandwich and gluten free fries were good.
However, my husband ordered the coffee (not good) and the cheesesteak sandwich, which he said tasted like steak ums. (So quality for the price was a mixed bag for us.)
SERVICE: A major plus was the hostess and busser. The hostess was super friendly and gracious, and the busser (who also appeared to refill water) was observant and quick to take care. The server was knowledgeable of the menu (I’m gluten free, so that’s important to me), but her quality of service completely paled in comparison to the other staff.
ATMOSPHERE: I really thought it would be great (and loved this antique cash register at the hostess stand!) But the vibe felt pretentious and put-on; plus, the place was unexpectedly loud. Like the acoustics of the place weren’t set well or sound didn’t absorb well; every sound seemed magnified.
I don’t usually write such long reviews, but this experience was so strange to me.
Overall, I’d order gluten free takeout from there, but that’s about it. When we choose to go out to eat, we want to love the experience; this review probably makes me seem like a “Karen”, but I’ve had a lot of serving experience and am pretty understanding. Blue Plate just didn’t meet the expectations that they set with the way they present themselves as an establishment.
Lots of gluten free and dairy free options! The GF pancakes with vegan butter were fantastic. I Highly recommend Bella Vida Cafe if your looking for delicious food, especially for those with food allergies. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The interior is bit outdated the food was ok came pretty fasts about 17 minutes it was not busy since we went early for dinner the food was greasy if you can at dinner time 6-7pm is very crowded so we went early at 5:20ish I got a gluten-free burger
Fantastic diner with good (fresh) coffee and hot food as well as Gluten-Free options! Friendly staff. Eggs Benedict is good as well as great kids meals! Been to other diners in area and they’re just not as good as Majestic.
Excellent Mexican food with great service. Staff was very knowledgeable about my party’s food allergies(gluten, nut) and was able to prepare the food safely. 10/10 would eat here again.
I love this spot; I’m gluten free and always suspicious of restaurants that say they have good gluten free options. But their French toast was incredible! Coffee was hot and fresh, it was very loud so if you’re noise sensitive I would recommend going at a lighter trafficked time of day or sit outside.
The waiter and hostess were fabulous and helpful.
The food was pretty if not very good. And the atmosphere was good. But the service was absolutely terrible my mom is gluten and dairy free and she asked for a plain burger and a flat bread with out cheese and the poured lots of cheese on everything. Then the dessert took 1 hour to come out for some thing that isn’t worth the wait
I've been coming here now for several years. Every time I'm here I always have a good time. They do take reservations.
The service is always spot on. The food is delicious and because this restaurant serves food that is seasonal, I know it will be fresh and tasty.
This place is nicely decorated with booths, and large tables. They have Semi-Private and Private rooms to have an event, Birthdays,Bridal Showers, Bridesmaids Luncheons, Rehearsal Dinners, Cocktail Parties, or Weddings, Corporate Meetings which are equipped to host high-definition webcasting and interactive IPTV presentations via a secure, closed network, and Valet Parking.
You can also sit at the bar and have lunch or dinner.
Season's 52 has Happy Hour Monday- thru Thursday 3-6pm. $6 dollar Wines, and $7 Cocktails.
You can never go wrong with their flat breads. They serve wonderful flatbreads all day and at any given time you can choose from 6 different ones. The toppings are seasonal. Season's 52 has a nice array of Starters, Soups and Salads. They offer Gluten Free, and Vegan Dishes. They offer a complete Kids Menu, and they offer Sides to share.
For my Entree I ordered their Caramelized Grilled Sea Scallops- comes with Risotto and Broccolini. The scallops were cooked perfectly and very tender. The risotto had tons of flavor, and the broccolini was delicious.
My friend ordered Wood Grilled Kona Crusted Lamb Loin- It came with roasted asparagus, Yukon mash, and herb butter. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her meal.
My other friend ordered Cedar Plank-Roasted Salmon-Norwegian salmon, French green beans, Marble potatoes, Dill-mustard sauce. The presentation was lovely, and she too loved her entree.
Since we were celebrating both of my friend's birthdays I decided to order several of their Mini Desserts- with an assortment of flavors. It's just enough to satisfy anyone's sugar craving.
I definitely recommend this place.
Delicious food and great service. Tip for dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan folks: you have options! Get the gluten-free pancakes or gluten-free waffles. Those are made with almond milk, hence dairy free, and end up being vegan as well. You can get any of their specialty pancakes or waffles with the gluten-free recipe. Just make sure the toppings (like whipped cream) are removed if you're dairy-free or vegan. You can also get the almond milk latte if you're looking for a milky coffee option.
Wonderful lunch 2 days in row while in the area. They offer gluten free burgers and fries and even have dairy free oat based cheese for those with sensitivities.
My first time at a Seasons 52 and if you haven't been, find yourself a date (you count, treat yo' self!) and go here. Daniel was our server and he was the best, Emily the manager keeps that place running perfectly, and the food was very good! The mocktails on the menu are very refreshing, and do yourself a favor and get the Chipotle Marble Potatoes and Korean BBQ Carrots - both were incredible! They also have a vegetarian and vegan menu, as well as Gluten Free options, just ask for the specialty menu!
It was the Saturday before Easter, a beautiful, sunny spring day, so we decided to take the Corvette to the Tulip Festival in Upper Freehold, NJ. We weren't the only ones with that idea, as an extra 25,000 people seemed to have the same plan! Arriving at the gate, after finding free parking, we were told they had reached capacity. Rats! It looked like a fantastic sight – tulips in every color imaginable stretching as far as you could see, along with food trucks and a charming windmill. I even chatted with two ladies who were close friends with the Dutch owners, flown in to help with the event.
Disappointed but undeterred, we hopped back in the Corvette, put the top down, and enjoyed the drive. My wife, Jeanne, discovered a small restaurant in Hightstown, NJ, called 12 Farms Restaurant. It was 20 minutes away and off we went. Public parking was plentiful, and we entered the over 150-year-old building, immediately enveloped by its rich history and the delightful aroma of good food. Our waitress, Quinn (the same name as my granddaughter!), greeted us warmly and described the specials. My wife quickly chose the lobster mac-n-cheese, while I perused the extensive menu.
They don't serve alcohol, so we both opted for their delicious peach iced tea. 12 Farms prides itself on sourcing high-quality ingredients, including grass-fed beef, fresh seafood, and local produce from family-run farms like their own farmette, Little Big Acres in Millstone, NJ. Their aim is to offer diverse and creative menus catering to various dietary needs, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.
The menu was indeed impressive, a great mix of gluten-free, vegetarian, and protein dishes. Options like the Jersey Tomato Panini and the Acho Chili Braised shredded chicken sounded wonderful. After much deliberation and another refreshing peach iced tea, I decided on the OG burger: a Wagyu beef burger with thick bacon, local cheddar, and onion jam.
While we waited, enjoying the view of Hightstown's bustling main street, a fresh greens salad arrived – a bright and tasty sweet and sour mix with pine nuts, thinly sliced turnips and cucumber, and a flavorful vinaigrette. The edible orange slice was a lovely touch.
Soon after, our entrees arrived. The Lobster Mac-n-Cheese was a generous bowl of large macaroni with plenty of lobster chunks and a creamy three-cheese sauce topped with greens. My wife clearly loved it. My OG burger was substantial, topped with cheese, thick bacon, and their house-onion made jam, accompanied by seven small home fries and more greens. Large burgers can often suffer from a soggy bottom bun, but I decided to eat the flavorful Wagyu beef, onion jam, and pickled jalapenos separately, thoroughly enjoying the delicious combination.
Completely full, we skipped dessert. It's worth noting that 12 Farms is a cash-only establishment.
Overall, I give 12 Farms a 4 out of 5. We definitely plan to return and explore more of their enticing menu.
Great place. First time eating here. LOTS of gluten free and vegan options. Service was excellent and food was excellent. Everyone was happy. Will be coming back
We had some amazing sandwiches, including some of the best Gluten Free bread that I have had in a while. Well worth a visit if you are in the Princeton area.
We ate here on Father’s Day. Very busy but the service was great! Carrot cake pancakes were delicious. Also, had gluten free options and staff were knowledgable about cross contamination.
The entrees are very gluten-free friendly. All sandwiches and wraps can be made with gluten-free breads. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable - he told me their fryers aren’t dedicated to just French fries and gave me a salad on the side instead.
Came here for a treat on the company post a run…was not dissatisfied not disappointed. They were punching out donuts like crazy for runners and walkers from the event. Tasty well earned treats and piping hot along with fresh! Yes they’re calling have drinks here along with gluten free options!
I have celiac disease and my partner has a nut allergy. Our server Olivia was absolutely incredible about communicating with us and the kitchen about what to order and how to prep it. It was the best gluten free meal I've had in New Jersey. The atmosphere was incredible with beautiful decor and lighting. I will definitely be back

Omg this place was so
Good! I love the food especially the chicken sandwich. I came from Maryland with my mom and I really enjoyed it. I am gluten free sensitive and the fries were fresh too with my sandwich. Very good service by my server! And Bree came and was very friendly as well with good conversation and recommendations about other things to try on the menu. I will be back! If you are in NJ come check it out you won’t regret! Fresh food and you can come late at night too :) Thank you!
First time at Seasons 52 and wasn't sure what to expect. Took the family out to celebrate our daughter's birthday. The menu is lean but does have some interesting options. The other side contained alot of wine choices mostly. There were some cocktail options as well. We opted to stay with water. Didn't see too many other drink options like beer or soft drinks. We started with their mushroom appetizer. Which was pretty good. I had the lobster bisque soup which was ok and the Philadelphia cheese steak flatbread. My wife had the chicken flatbread gluten free which see enjoyed. The gnocchi dish had a interesting flavor paired with cherry tomatoes, basil and chives. Also had the half chicken platter which seemed to be a good option especially if you are hungry. Remember, tip, almost all dishes are under 600 calories. So if you are on a diet or watching calories this is the place to try. Ambiance was great 👍, loved the fireplace when you Walk in and the feel is quaint and cozy. Would be a good place for a first date. For 5 dinners, 2 soups and 1 appetizer was around $156 with tip. Hope this helps!
Yes!!! An amazing selection of fun coffee drinks detailed breakfast menu not your boring diner!! Great prices you enter to friendly staff and leave the same way will 100% be back side note they offer Gluten free bread!

This is a shout out to server Ashley. She went above and beyond to keep me from consuming gluten on menu items that had been advertised as gluten free but had changed. I expect an attentive chef also played a part in helping to avert this potential vacation disaster. What great customer service! I am truly grateful!
