Stopped in for a quick bite and ended up staying for dessert too - butter chicken was fire, and that gluten-free cupcake? Unreal. Definitely coming back.
Alexander’s Tavern is owned by someone knowledgeable about Celiac and offers a multitude of safe gluten-free options with a dedicated kitchen space and fryer! I recommend the nachos and tater tots!
The Corner Pantry is a Baltimore gem with thoughtfully curated and creative selections and amazing gluten free breads and pastries. Everything on the menu from coffee to savory to sweet options simultaneously evoke comfort and decadence. Their holiday pies are also a staple for my family's festive menus, and whenever I visit, the staff is warm and inviting. On days when you need a little extra joy in your life, I highly recommend visiting TCP!
Mindpub is home away from home. The food is amazing (especially the gluten free which honestly is so good, it’s hard to find gluten free in Federal hill that isn’t insanely expensive for no reason) the staff are great and know a lot - especially when asking for different recommendations. Coffee is locally roasted down the street! If I moved away - I would ALWAYS make sure to come here first when I visit
Love sobo cafe!! They are so careful and have so many gf options. I’ve eaten there so many times and never had an issue. The food is so yummy, my gf mom also loves this place. Cocktails are great too!!
They have gluten free pizza that they can make on a separate pan to avoid cross contamination and a dedicated fryer for delicious fried brussel sprouts!
We visited Baltimore this weekend and had lunch @ Philips, it was a great experience especially thanks to Ruslan’s service, I have dietary restrictions due to celiac disease and he was very supportive of my need and everything was good, no issues with food
Food was tasty and had good quality, we sat outside as the weather was very nice and very enjoyable
Amazing food and service! Our waitress Jae was so helpful and attentive. My boyfriend has celiac disease and she took the time to mark up a paper copy of the menu with every gluten free option. We ordered a bottle of wine and the sommelier recommended a great bottle of wine in our price range. All of the food was great! The tapas are larger than at most American Spanish restaurants and are closer to the size of an appetizer. Strongly recommend the duck breast, the shrimp with chorizo, and the crème brûlée.
Amazing. Must go. Gluten-free friendly, fresh tortillas made in house with imported Mexican corn. Flights of Mezcal. Excellent tacos. Astounding tamales. Just get there!
Papi’s is so great! They have dairy free and gluten free options and you get free chips and salsa for the table. Their short rib burrito is awesome and they have a nice happy hour too.
nice casual place for drinks and food, id say food is solid and reliable but not like super spectacular. crab soup is whack, burgers are good, not a smash burger place. its somewhere youd go regularly. great for gluten free folks. brunch is nice too, and their mimosas are good for groups. fav drinks are the jackrabbit and the crush with less simple syrup.
christmas eve dinner with family. seated immediately but took 10 min+ for waiter to address table for drinks. no menu's for several minutes after that. no bread brought to table until we asked, which was well after we placed our order. advised waiter 3 times we had a gluten allergy at the table and he acknowledged but low and behold the side dish came out with bread crumbs on it. Also ordered a salad as main course and when delivered to table it was a plate of lettuce! no tomato, no peppers, no onions, no cucumbers..nothing but a plate of lettuce for $13. They did take that of off the bill but what a way to celebrate xmas eve. that experience completely put a cloud over the celebration. Never again.
Poor service, poor quality of food selection for allergies. have eaten at several comparable and lesser reputable restaurants which have gone out of their way to accommodate this allergy concern and provided a quality meal. Despite it being xmas eve the restaurant was not busy so that was not the reason for the poor service. many empty tables.
I absolutely love Tagliata. They have the best gluten free pasta and take precautions to make the dishes safe for celiac. Honorable mention to their pasta bolognese - it’s so good!!
Food was good but nothing spectacular. My other guests loved the crispy chicken sandwich. The service at lunch was slow. They should have more gluten free options.

Decent amount of gluten free items including burgers and fries in dedicated fryer. Waitress was very knowledgeable about my celiac and seemed very attentive! It was nice to find a place safe to eat while traveling. They have a gluten free menu, just ask for it when being seated.
