We always have fun at Picazzos. The food is gluten-free, which is great for my wife and my daughter. The waiters are happy and fun. They are very good at keeping everything fresh and hot. Highly recommend.
We were a party of eight for Easter brunch, we ordered the tomato mozzarella drizzled in balsamic vinegar. The tomato was thin and appeared to have been overproduced from Saturday or even Friday a fresh basil leaf would have enlivened the presentation. We also ordered fried mozzarella. The breading was fresh and nicely fried, there was no flavor transfer indicating good fryer discipline. The gluten free mushrooms and cheese pizza enjoyed by my companions was well presented but not distinctive. The Tomato sauce used for the chicken parm and as a basis for the other tomato pasta dishes was flavorful. I noticed all of the pasta dishes were made with linguini. Unfortunately, the pasta appears to have been cooked long past al dente in bulk long ahead of service. NOT cooked to order. I’m not even sure the pasta was rinsed and chilled in ice water because the texture was so starchy because it may not have been cooked in enough water. It may not have been reheated in water but rather brought up to heat in some kind of green congealed creamy sauce with little distinct flavor of pesto no visible arugula or basil leaf entwined in a vibrant pasta pesto. The sunflower seeds were interesting but my northern Italian culinary training pesto is Pinole. When the dish was presented it appeared to have been molded in a bowl and turned onto plate guaranteed to hold its shape. The Service was friendly customer focused and very responsive. Outdoors under the veranda was perfect. Overall we enjoyed each others company

Went to lunch on Monday at the Happy Valley location. Upon arrival we were greeted from the manager and had Danny as our waiter. The atmosphere is nice and Danny had a few recommendations for the side item from the lunch menu. They have Gluten free choices as well as some vegetarian dishes to choose from. The food was good and the customer service is on point. I liked the involvement the manager had with his staff and the way it’s being run. Good job to the crew at
PF Chang’s!

Amazing food, live music and the owner and staff were all great people. would highly recommend this place. Came with a bachelor party, the groom wanted good Mexican food and this place exceeded expectations. The owner let us stay after hours to finish up and offered up some free drinks for our party of 7. Anyone looking for good Mexican that’s gluten free go here!
Tacos during church? No. Tacos AT church? AMEN! Dining on tacos in an old church is unique, to say the least. Eating some of the best tacos you’ll ever put in your pie-hole in an old church with beautiful murals tops my list of taco eateries. Dining at Taco Guild is a culinary experience. The food and service are outstanding. Expect to have a good time and create a few new, happy gastronomical memories.
The house-made corn tortillas are delicious! The complimentary chips with four salsas started the party, along with herbaceous guacamole. I’m not a fan of lamb, but the server recommended it as one of the four tacos I ordered. It was pure foodgasm, as were the chipotle cherry steak, street style carnitas, and crispy pork belly versions I happily consumed. The street corn is not to be missed. If you’ve never had it, order it. Thank me later. I like that the husks were left still attached because they can serve as a handle, and they heavily garnished the corn with butter, Crema, Tajin, cotija and cilantro. At the end of my meal, I saw a server walk by with a bowl of their Green Chili Queso. I couldn’t resist. My curiosity got the best of me, and I’m glad it did. Make sure you order it with the chorizo.
They offer a quesadilla, torta (sandwich), and salad on their menu. But since the word was out that their tacos are “the bomb,” I couldn’t invest stomach space to commit to a sandwich and a salad. It had to be tacos for me and that was the right choice. Their tacos were some of the best I’ve ever eaten, hands down.
As for the service, it is just as superb as the food. Taco Guild makes sure your dining experience is positive from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave. The restaurant clearly marks the menu with gluten-free and vegetarian options. I look forward to my return visit. Well done Guild.
Amazing place, excellent service, Gluten free and vegan, but even if you aren't GF or Vegan do not be afraid to eat here. Many of the items taste as good if not better than those with dairy or Gluten. I've only been GF for a few years and was shocked at how good these items were. Also I'm not dairy free and could not tell the difference at all.
This place is really chill and offers great food and service. The pancakes are amazing and come with real maple syrup. The Denver Omelette hit the spot and they had plenty of gluten free options.
This place is absolutely amazing! The service is outstanding! They went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best gluten free experience ever! Oh how I wish we had one of these in North Carolina!
Highly recommend this place for their food and for all the gluten free options! 95% of the menu is gluten free, our server was really knowledgeable about Celiac, and was really accommodating. 5 star food!
I had a very friendly and knowledgeable server. They were familiar with what was needed and did everything to ensure my safety. Food came out of quick and I enjoyed the yummy corned beef hash. I didn’t have any reactions after eating here. I’d recommend this snooze location to fellow celiacs.
Server seemed knowledgeable about celiac, but was slightly rude about it when I asked my questions to confirm safety. Also, the ordering process didn’t completely put my mind at ease. However, after receiving the steak fajitas (made with tamari, soy is mentioned on the menu), I enjoyed the meal and had no issues afterwards. The chips are fried in a solely gluten free fryer. But, I didn’t end up having those. Would recommend if you want some Mexican food.
Amazing little find with so many gluten free options...everything on the menu can be made gf!! Food was delicious. Tried a variety of their tapas plates and was not disappointed. Great food, great atmosphere and stellar service. I will definitely be back again.
this place was SO accommodating to our bachelorette, and the food was amazing (the girls said it was the best pasta they've had all year!).
Their team added a table so our group could dine outside, and even moved us so we wouldn't have to leave early or after the designated 2 hour window. I worked with the hostess to have champagne at the table when we arrived.
For food allergies... I have celiac, and the server and hostesses were super clear and supportive of my dietary needs.
Our server Shaun, was FAB! Really lovely and even brought us complimentary shots to celebrate the bride! Really a great experience all around. So thankful for their team!
We had a lovely time at Snooze A.M. Tempe. We're familiar with the location in Tucson, AZ which has always been a lovely go-to for brunch. The service, food, and atmosphere in Tempe's location was spot on. I mostly appreciate the gluten free options. I never have to think twice about going to Snooze A.M. It's on our list of regular dine-in restaurants.
One of the best burgers I’ve ever had and appreciative of the gluten free bun option. Cute and quaint town with great views of the red rocks near Sedona
Took my wife here for her birthday breakfast. She's gluten-free and I eat gluten-free for her. Snooze made everything gluten-free and were so awesome with the menu! We've already been back twice! Great place!
Be careful coming here with a gluten allergy. Although we made it explicitly clear this is a life threatening allergy this situation was handled with no care. This pancake was very clearly not the one I ordered but the waitress insisted I eat it until 5 minutes later she takes it back and doesn’t even say a word, and guess what. I still got cross contaminated and am sick from this food. Absolutely terrible place I wish I never came.
I love this place. Being vegan and gluten free, this was a find. Great food, great drinks, amazing deal for the money. Wonderful staff that really take care of you. A must go.

Thanks to some recommendations I found on Eat Gluten Free AZ on Instagram, we stopped at Diego Pops near our hotel in Old Town Scottsdale for happy hour where all apps and margaritas are half off. They have a marked gluten free menu which is important to me as a Celiac. I was told that their fryer is dedicated but flour tortillas are stored near it, so to avoid potential cross contamination, avoid the fried foods.
After being put on a 15 minute wait list, we were seated outside. The weather was fantastic so it was very comfortable in the outdoor dining area next to the bar. On the table are 6 different sauces. Try them all - my favs were the pink one and the light green serrano one.
We got a frozen house blue raspberry margarita, 2 Diego (house) margaritas, a cheese quesadilla (not GF, but my husband loved it), elote (great), a bowl of tortilla soup (12/10 it was delicious), a corn cheese dip (fine) with tortillas rather than chips to avoid potential gluten cross contamination, and a pineapple pork bowl with coconut rice (not a fan.)
Between ordering our drinks and when our food came out, it was like maybe 40 minutes. We didn't mind because the weather was good and we were chatting and had our drinks, but our waitress kept updating us that she was on the kitchen to bring out our stuff. We were like, "it's fine." She came out 2 more times and said the kitchen had lost our ticket. Whatever, we were in no rush. Stuff happens.
She was super apologetic even though we didn't complain and the manager came over and gave us vouchers for 6 free tacos and comped our entire meal!!! We told them it wasn't necessary and we could pay but the waitress said it was thanks for being so nice and understanding. That made me feel sad that they clearly deal with a lot of rude, unreasonable people. It wasn't necessary to comp our meal or give us free taco vouchers. We did tip her in cash an amount that would have been 1/3 of the original bill.
Please don't go expecting free food but if you're in Scottsdale, please go check out the food at Diego Pops and get the tortilla soup for sure.
The chile rellenos were the stand out, and available as gluten free. The short rib fell off the bone which was nice, but not quite the flavor I was hoping for it to have. I would recommend skipping the pasta here as the flavor lacked luster. I would come back if I was in the area again, but only for the chile rellenos.
We went to Taverna to celebrate our NAU Graduate. Even though it was Graduation weekend and we were unfortunately very late for our reservation Taverna graciously accommodated us and had us seated immediately. We were a large group ordering multiple dishes and they were all outstanding! The only one we didn't like was the lunch special rice bowl. Our host actually recommended something else and unfortunately I didn't listen but I should have! He was right it wasn't very good but that was okay because everything else was amazing! Very grateful for all their care for dietary options- makes it perfect for a large group. We had someone with a nut allergy and they got us a scoop of ice cream which was really love. Loved the gluten free chocolate cake! Honestly my family and I had the BEST time here. It felt like a giant party and we were so well taken care of. Thank you, Taverna! You are doing great.
Raw bar - yay!! Several choices of raw oysters, my favorite was called "Sweet Jesus"
Delightful sushi, including several gluten free options. My daughter has celiac disease which is why we decided to try this restaurant. It didn't disappoint
The food was honestly very average. The meat was pretty dry in our apps and entrees. I will still come back because there are a lot of gluten free options and we really loved our server Alexa! The overall ambiance is really nice too, and I've come here for brunch before and I remember liking it.

This place is awesome! The food is always on point and they have the best gluten free enchiladas I have tasted. I highly recommend it and it is definitely one of our favorite restaurants to frequent here in the valley.

The quality of the food has definitely dropped, based on my experience there last night. The egg drop soup used to be rich and flavorful, last night it was thin and bland. The lettuce wraps are now served with ridiculously small lettuce leaves that you can’t make a wrap with, and the peanut sauce tasted like salad dressing. They have also eliminated many gluten free options, a reason I used to enjoy this restaurant. I’d no longer recommend it. The waitstaff were very good, too bad the food wasn’t.
Stopped by for brunch. This was our first time coming here and was lucky enough to be seated right when we walked in (it was super packed)! The dishes we got (Smoked Salmon Benedict and Smoked Beet Sandwich) were very delicious and the gluten free English muffins were amazing! Our server was super nice and very informative of what they could/couldn’t do gluten free. We are definitely coming back to try the dinner menu.
Great place. The menu is a bit small, limited for someone in my group who is lactose and gluten free, however, very good food otherwise. The black truffle mushroom pizza is glorious and I would not have tried it unless our server, Eleazar, had not recommended it. He is a great server and very professional! Also, the Two to Mango is AMAZING.
I have supported Pitch since the day they opened, and I will no longer be doing so. I had a reservation for Saturday night, was seated with my party, and then had to get up 20 minutes later to ask the hostess if we had a server. Another server was approached by the hostess, and he appeared to be reluctant to take our table. He came over to get us drinks while they figured out the server issue, but then stated he would take our table for the night.
When ordering our meal, he asked if 2 people in our party wanted the kitchen to split their meal or if they would do it at the table. HOWEVER, he did not mention there would be a $4 upcharge for the kitchen to do so. Then, he told our table to think about dessert because he was going to buy dessert for us given the snafoo. He then clarified that the restaurant would actually be comping the dessert. So when dessert time came, he brought everyone at the table their own dessert menu to order. He took the orders without saying a word. Upon presenting the bill, he then asked if we all ordered dessert because of what he said, to which we replied in the affirmative. He then stated that he could only comp 1 dessert, which left the other people in the party to each pay $11 for a dessert that they each did not even really want but did not want to be rude or disrespectful by declining his original offer. Too boot, there was also a surcharge for using a credit card for payment, which he also failed to relay to our table.
My experience with Pitch has been that they charge for every little thing, including a $0.50 salad dressing order change! It's absolutely ridiculous and now getting out of hand. The customer is never told or asked about these additional charges, and over the years, they have just seemed to pile up!
Additionally, the quality of the food has significantly declined. The last time I ordered a take out pizza, I had to drive all the way back because it was paper thin, burnt, and hard. The staff suspected they made the pizza with a gluten-free crust instead of the regular crust. The staff also seems to be an issue. It's like a revolving door with new staff with no prior experience. When we were seated, we asked the bus boy for lemons for our water. He proceeded to carry the lemons in his bare hands and then squeeze them into the glasses with his bare hands. Completely unsanitary!
Needless to say, Pitch has lost at least 4 loyal customers who reside around the corner. And there will be many more to come once the word gets out in the community.
Vecina - A Gluten-Free Gem with Layered Flavors and Classy Ambiance
After hearing rave reviews about Vecina, I decided to see what all the buzz was about, particularly their renowned salmon tacos. Specifically, I tried the *Faroe Island Salmon Tacos* with Yuzu Kosho Aioli, Seasonal Citrus, Toasted Peanut, and Corn Tortilla. The combination of flavors was nothing short of spectacular, with the rich and fresh taste of the salmon perfectly complemented by the bright citrus and subtle heat from the Yuzu Kosho Aioli. The texture of the toasted peanut added a delightful crunch that made every bite interesting.
In addition to the tacos, I also tried the *Karaage*, which, despite the menu not explicitly stating it, is a Japanese-style fried chicken. As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, finding fried chicken that I can enjoy is a rare treat, making this dish an absolute delight. It was crispy on the outside, yet tender and juicy on the inside, with a balanced flavor that had just the right amount of seasoning without being overwhelming.
What truly sets Vecina apart is its impressive gluten-free menu. As someone who appreciates gluten-free options, I was thrilled to see such a wide array of dishes to choose from without compromising on flavor or quality. The thoughtfulness in crafting these dishes is evident, and the result is food that is not only accommodating but also incredibly flavorful and satisfying.
Beyond the food, the ambiance of Vecina adds to the overall experience. The restaurant has a classy and inviting atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a nice dinner out. Whether you’re gluten-free or just a lover of good food, Vecina is definitely worth a visit.
Chilte is an absolute gem in the heart of Phoenix!
From the moment we walked in, the vibe was electric — the music, the ambiance, the warm staff — all set the tone for what turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in the city.
Let’s talk about the food: INSANE. The burger? Hands down the best my husband has ever had! The kitchen doesn’t just accommodate dietary needs — it elevates them. I’m gluten-free. Every dish was bold, intentional, and bursting with flavor. The craft cocktails were equally unforgettable — creative, balanced, and beautifully presented.

Whether you’re local or visiting Phoenix, Chilte is a must. It’s not just a restaurant — it’s a whole experience. We’ll be back. Again. And again. Making a reservation NOW!

The Herb Box was great. Tons of outdoor space for kiddos to run around. They have great gluten free options including multiple desserts (Cakes!!!). The food was good and had a strong healthy component to the menu.
Wow. A little hot bowl of mic droppin’ goodness found here. A homey fast paced open kitchen atmosphere creates to the vibe. Kids bowls were a hit. Mic Drop! Dish with chefs recommended spicy broth was unbelievable!! Gluten free noodle option for the wife. Make sure if you don’t like spice to ask ahead if dishes are spicy. Cooks are amazing team workers. They didn’t even say a word to each other and I watched them prepare almost 100 dishes while I sat there. Just straight business!!
Super cool spot, great service and better food and drinks. Coffee black manhattan was delish and the pad this and fried chicken were legit. Gluten free friendly as well! The banana roti was a chefs kiss too.
I've been here many times. They take good caution with gluten free needs, when requested to wait staff. I've had steak, fish, scallops and all have been delicious. This restaurant gets very busy and reservations are required, unless you don't mind finding a spot at the bar.
I love the outdoor patio and they frequently change their menu so there is always something new to try.
All of their food is great but their burgers are usually my go to and I love that they have gluten free buns available for them.
They have seasonal cocktails that I love to try.
This is a popular spot for dog owners because of the dog-friendly patio, so it's an added bonus to get to pet all the cute dogs.
Went here for brunch since they have gluten-free options. It does get busy. We decided to sit outside (in June) - it was about 11am and with their fans and mister system, it did not feel hot or uncomfortable. We got a protein bowl and avo toast. The protein bowl was amazing. Got their signature coffee. It was good. Good balance of cream and sweetener, for me.
I was nervous about trying this place with my Celiac / Gluten Free restricted hunny.
Crema literally knocked the experience out of the park! They have multiple gluten-free options, and it was such a cute little city vibe. I would 10/10 recommend and come here on our next visit!!!
There are literally almost no meals nor appetizers, nor dessert that are suitable for gluten free, nor for vegans or even vegetarians. I am GF and my friend is vegetarian and another non dairy and the options were almost nothing. I was able to eat the pepper appetizer. The first one was good and mild so we ordered another and the second was so hot that no one could eat it. The tuna I ate off of the tuna nachos was very good. I asked not once, but twice for my soup to be gluten free and it came with the croutons anyway. Thank God I am not celiac. I didn't have time to ask for a new one as the main course was already coming out by the time I could have. So I just picked them out. But that's not OK when I asked twice for gluten free.
My steak was wonderful, but I did order the most expensive steam on the menu. The mashed potatoes were great too but for the price my side of potato's was a few tablespoons and my side of carrots was 3 mini carrots. Delicious but barely enough to pair with the 18oz steak that I got. So it left my longing. My friends got the smaller steak and, unfortunately it was so small that they all also felt dissatisfied. But those were the only 2 steak choices on the menu.
My friend was so excited for the strawberry shortcake. But there was a ton of dry biscuit and literally no strawberry sauce. There was a bit of whipped cream and a few slices of strawberry. My friend said it was very dry and lacking. I had the creme brulee and it was an astounding upper layer and the lower layer was also amazing in consistency and sweetness. But I would have loved something dun added to it. I saw one made with homemade almond tequila somewhere... things like that.
Also of their food was very bland.
All the people with dietary restrictions left feeling left out.
The food that was acceptable basic was very good for what it was. Nothing unique about the potatoes or steak but they were very nicely done. So kudos for that.
Thanks to all the staff - especially Summer - who made a great dining experience - even serving me gluten free ice cubes! The starters were just stunning - and the beef fillet was top drawer! Lovely to meet the chef - you could see every table was having an amazing time and dining experience. 10/10!
