Myself and another coworker along with three people we support had dinner at this location. We sat on the patio. My experience at a different Scaddabush location was not that great so I was apprehensive about eating at this location. But it was the best decision we made and that was because Mark our waiter made sure we had a great experience. Mark was Awesome! He was friendly, patient, accommodating and was just over all a great person It was also great especially for the gentleman with us who eats gluten free. Thank you so much Mark! Keep smiling! Amazing experience here, the food, the drinks, the customer service and attentiveness from the waitstaff is a breath of fresh air! Our server Brie was a complete sweetheart and took outstanding care of us, making sure that my food allergies (celiac disease) were taken care of and I didn’t have to worry about a thing! With how much Canada has changed since I was young, it's good that a place like The Old Spaghetti Factory survived the nonsense of the last 5 years. I met Beth after her work yesterday to enjoy the day, and we found our way to a Toronto icon. The nostalgia hit in a positive way. This place is like a time capsule: the old world Toronto esthetics, with the 3 course meal (soup/salad, main, ice cream) experience and the warm staff. Beth and I were extremely lucky as our server Mégane was hard working, fast, friendly, and personable. I honestly wish you the best in your desire to pursue acting as a profession. Always a smile and upbeat when in the carousel area you were serving. The other staff were working hard, but Mégane you were aces. The food was great. When chatting, we liked some of the options like there is a "factory size" for a modest upchage to make the portion bigger. There were some selections where you can get a gluten-free version for a reasonable charge for those who desire or need that. The food was excellent. The Caesar salad is really good. Lick the plate good. I had a gluten free pizza and it actually had a crunchy crust and dough like interior... Which never happens! Highly recommend that. Service on a Saturday night was snooty and hard to come by... But they did the job and it was busy as heck. However I did watch an empty table for four sit empty for about 30-45 minutes... While there were people lined up out the door. Interesting. Interior is nice looking and lots of room between tables which is appreciated. Less snooty like service would be even better... felt rushed. But the food was fab. Steak was also had, all plates were cleaned!!

The service was great the waitress was super nice and related to my gluten allergy. We got the calamari and tiger shrimp and for a main I got the Linguini de Mare and it was all so good but Oh My god the bread. If you come here get the bread. if you have leftover sauce get the bread. I have never had as good bread in my entire life. My gluten allergy could never hold me back from this bread. My stomach hurt so bad after (because of the allergy not the quality of the food; food quality was great) but it was so worth it and I would go back just to get that exact same meal again. Everything was 10/10 but the bread was the best bread I ever had in my entire life

As someone who is gluten free, and who often tries to minimize my dairy consumption, I am appreciative of Defina’s offerings! This pizzeria has gluten free bases, as well as well-thought out vegan toppings (they do change up). The gluten free dough is very good. It’s more fluffy as opposed to flat (I prefer this Neapolitan style of pizza). What I like most about Defina is their creative toppings. There really is something for everyone here! You want a regular margarita? Got it. You want a lot of cheese? Got it. You want chicken wings? Somehow - got it! The service has also always been friendly, attentive, and willing to talk me through my dietary needs. I also like the more intimate atmosphere, which makes it perfect for a date (friendship, romantic, or even self-dating). The food was good and the gluten-free options were great. It was definitely one of the better gluten-free pizzas I’ve had. I liked the amount of pepperoni on my pizza and the spiciness of the pepperoni. We also ordered the amalfi coast spritz cocktail, which was really good. Our waiter was super friendly and very helpful with the allergies in our group. The best part is the view though. I don’t like sitting outside so we sat inside and you still get a full waterfront view. It was honestly so beautiful I wanted to sit there forever. I ordered a cappuccino at the end and that was also surprisingly really good.

Tabule has always been my favourite restaurant, my top choice for lunch in the neighborhood. The menu offers a variety of healthy options including gluten free items. The staff here are all pleasant and helpful especially Mina. I look forward to see her there every time.

4.5. Great classic spot, been around forever. Amazing rooftop patio and classic Italian fare- always specials too. Atmosphere is lovely and service is attentive. Servers are knowledgeable and have typically been there a while. Like a many Toronto spots- more attention if you’re ordering drinks, less attention if you’re not. The busser’s are good about refilling the water and they always leave a bottle on the table. Atmosphere is bustling throughout the restaraunt, the patio is also beautiful and a fun vibe. Great for people of all-ages (a little quieter outside which is nice). Food is great and they also have an allergen menu which indicates dairy free, gluten free, and vegan options- so accommodating and helpful. Aside from this they don’t really ever make accommodations to the food. They’re good about allergies - specifically helpful with a soy allergy. The bread is made in house and is delicious- ingredients listed on side of the basket. The food is consistent - some dishes really shine. Don’t sleep on the funghi salad starter, the grilled calamari starter, the spaghetti a limone, or the bolognese. Cocktails are GREAT, albeit a little on the pricier side. A classic Toronto spot that always comes through.

We enjoyed the fixed dinner menu which had great choices and was a very fair price! The risotto was our favourite (my boyfriend had the tagliatelle salsiccia which was well done just not "AMAZING!"). The orange polenta cake was gorgeous and on a vegetarian & gluten free diet I still had so many choices. Cocktails were beautiful and unique also. We will be back!

The gluten free gnocchi is insanely good. I’m so shocked it’s gluten free, it was so good. The sauce is so cheesy and creamy and delicious. The gluten free pizza is decent, but nothing too special. The gnocchi is 100% more of a highlight. Their crust is more like a thin cracker, which is still good but not my absolute favourite. Our server was really nice and chatty. They have strong opinions about the order and speed at which you eat lol. I think it’s a tad overpriced, but not crazy. Like it was not a $27 pizza in my opinion.

Brooklyn and Brandon took care of us for dinner one evening and they exceeded all customer service expectations! The atmosphere was inviting, warm, and always positive. Both Brandon and Brooklyn anticipated our needs of what we wanted without having to ask! Could not recommend the food or service anymore. The octopus, caprese, and penne alla vodka was superb. Would definitely come back and recommend :) The wine was also excellent and dietary restrictions were friendly as I am gluten intolerant!

Food was outstanding. I am gluten free (not celiac), shared with friends, but I still found enough to satisfy me and eat around what I couldn't. Service was very attentive and friendly. Didnt hurt that our server looked like Paul Rudd :) honestly, the atmosphere is great. We went on a friday night and it was packed, so i do feel like our conversations were overlapping with other tables. But thats our fault for trying to catch up at a super busy restaurant on a friday!

My colleague and I stopped here to get some dinner after a conference at the University of Toronto. They offer all of their pizzas and pastas with a gluten free option. My coworker had the gluten free pasta and I had the Diavolo pizza on regular crust. It was a solid pizza and I would definitely go there again should I find myself back in the area. Her pasta was cooked al dente, so that should make the gluten free folks feel good. Not soggy like some places. Our server was attentive and friendly. Drinks and food arrived quickly and it cost us about 25 per person not including beer and cocktails.

The food was really really really good for the price. The $27 Cantina 3-course meal was scrumdiddlyumptious. Our waiter Jacob was really nice. However, there was a $5 upcharge for gluten-free pasta, which my girlfriend and I found just a little unreasonable. The walls in the Cantina were also interestingly green.

The gluten-free spaghetti and flourless chocoate torte at Grazie Toronto is absolutely out of this world! Hands down, this was my favourite restaurant meal ever. Every bite was pure heaven. The only thing that could make it better was a gluten-free bread option to complete the perfect three-course experience. Huge cheers to Sophie, who went above and beyond, taking care of us (and what looked like an entire section of the restaurant) with such warmth and attention on a busy Tuesday night. The food is delicious but the service was annoying. Many different and uncoordinated waiters served us. They took advantage of the fact that we are tourists to make them pay for mineral water when it is clear that this is not what they intended. They serve gluten-free pasta (I don't usually like corn pasta, but it was good and well-made) but there is no marking on the menu about dishes that can be served gluten-free, and verbally they gave confused answers. We made a reservation in advance and yet we were seated at the bar. There was annoying music in the background throughout the event.

My partner and I loved the food and the service. The location of our table felt like it was very busy and it was very hard to hear inside. I wish the pizza could be made gluten free, but I understand it could be an issue with reducing cross contamination in the small kitchen.

We were there for a Christmas work party. We need to eat gluten free. I had a seafood pasta ( gluten free) which was chock full of shrimp, squid, scallops, mussels and clams. Delicious. My husband had a steak that melted in your mouth. The service was excellent. We also enjoyed Caprese salad with cherry tomatoes. It was bursting with flavour. Great atmosphere too.

If you're looking for a place with quality food and amazing staff look no further. Our server was a gem and made sure that we knew all of our options in detail. He even brought out gluten free crackers for me without me asking. I've never had someone do that but it's the little details like that which set this restaurant apart. I ordered a gluten free pasta and my boyfriend got a pizza. Both were delicious! Their chocolate mousse is the perfect balance of decadent and light. This was my first time dining here but I will definitely be back!

Atmosphere - nice and cozy Service - good as toronto standard Food - sauces, ingredients and combinations are good and unique. Strong flavors give you distinct surprices among all different dishes without similarity feeling. BUT, seems no one mention about the texture of the fresh pasta, it is a bit sticky to your teeth. Maybe this is their style of cooking to serve "al dante" pasta, to me (I also make my own pasta), a smooth and glutenous pasta is more preferable! All in all, Viaggio worth a try to inspire your taste.

Delicious and our server (Christian) was amazing! So friendly and helpful. First time dining there. Was looking for Italian food that could accommodate gluten free options. Would definitely come back! My only two complaints: the tables are quite high (I’m short) and the fragrance in the men’s bathroom is insanely strong and was unpleasant. Other than that highly recommend!

Great food and vibes, and the location is superb, of course. My only feedback is that I’d love to see more cider and gluten-free options on the menu. While it's nice that most pastas can be substituted with gluten-free penne, it would be even better to have another gluten-free pasta option that isn’t penne. Gluten-free farfalle, for example, would be a fantastic addition to your menu.

Delicious food, with gluten free options available. We sat on the heated patio with a group of 5. The service was great but after sitting there for a while it was cold if you weren't sitting under/right beside the heater. The flour less chocolate cake was very delightful and overall a nice place to have dinner with friends. PARKING WAS A HASTLE. We went around 7:15 and there was nowhere to park I drove around for 15 minutes before finding street parking that was a decent walk away.

We came by for dinner on a Tuesday evening. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. We let the staff know about of gluten allergy and there was no issue with the accommodation. I got the gluten free penne with the Bolognese. And my partner got the Lion’s Mane Bistecca. We shared the shishito pepper appetizer and garlic mushroom side. Nothing was good. Except for the first bite. The shishito peppers were bland. They were grilled and coated in olive oil. We squeezed the provide lemon over them, but they could have really used some salt or additional spices. My Bolognese was fine, but nothing remarkable. The penne was cooked well. The Lion’s mane managed to be rich and bland. It was an odd experience. The garlic mushrooms did not taste like garlic, but instead were quite acidic. Perhaps there was too much of a vinegar. Everything was generally off. Like someone in the kitchen’s pallets was really off that night. I would not recommend going here for the price. As our bill came out to about $160 for 2.

Thank you for having gluten free options!! Please get a gluten free dough for pizza too. I loved the gluten free spaghetti pomodoro, I added chicken in it. My friends liked their food as well. Chicken was juicy. Service was wonderful, highly attentive and friendly. Definitely matched value for how much you pay. There’s parking across and adjacent to Figo. Bathrooms are unisex. Lots of wines and drink options. Note, there’s an automatic gratuity on groups of 6+ or 5+

Ordered from catering for a few things for the Rosh Hashana meal: Brisket Potato Kugel Chicken soup with matzo balls The food was delicious! Ellen was a pleasure to work with, was very attentive to allergy restrictions and food safety. We had celiac, nut, sesame and fish allergies to contend with. Will definitely be ordering from them again for my next event.
