We have visited Rocco's every year, typically multiple times, that we have visited AZ and thought the pizza was very good. This year was disappointing. My wife's gluten free had a less than satisfactory taste, my regular crust pepperoni/bacon was ok my not up to prior years' experiences. I doubt we will return in the future.
Delicious gluten free pizza and pasta! Though they used to use their gluten free pizza dough as bread and our waitress told us they don’t do that anymore, which is really disappointing
Wow. I was so excited to try Vero Amore. I was astounded by how much our server hates gluten free and was completely unwilling to even discuss options. I asked about sauces for the pasta and she said, “I don’t know what you are allergic to, the description on the menu tells you what is in it” I wound up with gf penne with crushed tomato sauce and baked chicken. I was told I couldn’t have any cheese as it all had gluten. She was aggressively unwilling to help to the point I had to ask for her to get someone else to help me. I didn’t choose to have celiac disease and I know it can be hard for restaurants. I try to ask reasonable questions to stay safe and have never encountered this level of unwillingness to even try to accommodate. I thought going to a local restaurant with gluten free options on the menu would be fun and it turned out to be embarrassing and uncomfortable for our entire party in a way that I have never experienced. I gave one stars because I didn’t get sick. It was flavorless food and the worst service I have ever experienced. Don’t go here.
Actually, the bar tender was really nice and the drinks were great. The GM was also really nice when we talked with him before our meal.
Our waiter Kyler was very kind and patient with us. There was great service and the food was delicious. I love that they had an extensive gluten free menu.

Went to lunch on Monday at the Happy Valley location. Upon arrival we were greeted from the manager and had Danny as our waiter. The atmosphere is nice and Danny had a few recommendations for the side item from the lunch menu. They have Gluten free choices as well as some vegetarian dishes to choose from. The food was good and the customer service is on point. I liked the involvement the manager had with his staff and the way it’s being run. Good job to the crew at
PF Chang’s!
Update: been here a few times since the first review and unfortunately haven't had the same service. Today nobody was up front. We stood there for about 10mins and then I walked around asking for help, then a girl named Lyla came up straight faced, didn't say a thing. So I said "do we sit ourselves" she grabbed menus and just walked off. Our server, Jaya didn't know any options for gluten-free, non attentive and not a great server overall. Stinks that the staff does really matter on the experience you have and today was a let down. Bummed!
One of things that I feel a lot of restaurants miss the mark on is the hostess/host being friendly but not here! We walked in and was met by Brooke who had a smile on her face, was friendly and knew a lot about the menu! Then our server, Mikeal came over to our table and explained the menu and the options they had for gluten-free (which is a ton!!). The pizza came out quick, hot ... and SO delicious!!! I also have to mention they have crushed ice. Yummmm
Meh my experience was mid. When Arrived the sign said to seat yourself so my boyfriend and his grandparents and I chose a table near the patio door. A server passed by and pretty rudely asked if we talked to the host I was about to tell her about the sign but she quickly and loudly said we have to see a host and stormed outside. Then another gentleman came over right after and gave us menus and I told him what the sign said. The day who spoke to us first became our server and realized we were handed gluten free menus, which we are not. The rest of the service was a lot better I think they felt bad. Overall its very loud im there, not really a place to get to talk to family. And the food was okay nothing exciting
Very great experience. The staff was amazing Phoebe you made my experience that much more for myself and my family. Thank u for your kindness and making us feel as if we were home. The cook-GM you rocked are Pizza. The Godfather Gluten free was to die for and just a regular cheese Gluten free just as good, oh yeah extra marinara sauce topped it off.
Thank u again
Was in town with my daughter who is Celiac. She was so excited to see that the had gluten free pasta. However, her excitement turned to disappointment when our server informed us that the Alfredo sauce is made with a flour based roux. So unfortunately she had to settle for the gluten free pepperoni pizza, which was good but didn’t make up for her craving for Fettuccini Alfredo. That being said, the service was good and the staff was knowledgeable regarding being gluten free which was appreciated.
My gluten free pizza today was less than adequate, if you look at the bottom of the picture there was not even any cheese or mushrooms. The sausage was flavorful and that is all I can say good about my experience. For the price I paid which is more than normal since it is gluten free. I will not be returning.
The a waitress was amazing but that’s about it after we placed our order we almost left .. my husband had bariatric surgery they wouldn’t let him order off the kids menu, I am gluten free and had a hard time finding options so I ended up with just a side of chicken .. my husband got chicken fingers that didn’t come until we were done eating they did comp for that so I will be thankful and they gave my son an ice cream sorry just overall won’t go back proof Is right across the way and way better
They were great in accommodating gluten issues. Everything on the menu is gluten free except for the buns, so I got a "protein" burger with lettuce. The fries and burger hot and fresh!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Maggiano’s Little Italy! The food was outstanding, with generous portions that left me completely satisfied. Their gluten-free pasta was a fantastic option, and the children’s menu made it a hit for the whole family. The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and truly made us feel special. Free valet parking was a convenient touch, especially for a celebratory evening. This is the perfect spot for any special occasion, with a warm atmosphere and delicious Italian dishes. Highly recommend!
Tacos during church? No. Tacos AT church? AMEN! Dining on tacos in an old church is unique, to say the least. Eating some of the best tacos you’ll ever put in your pie-hole in an old church with beautiful murals tops my list of taco eateries. Dining at Taco Guild is a culinary experience. The food and service are outstanding. Expect to have a good time and create a few new, happy gastronomical memories.
The house-made corn tortillas are delicious! The complimentary chips with four salsas started the party, along with herbaceous guacamole. I’m not a fan of lamb, but the server recommended it as one of the four tacos I ordered. It was pure foodgasm, as were the chipotle cherry steak, street style carnitas, and crispy pork belly versions I happily consumed. The street corn is not to be missed. If you’ve never had it, order it. Thank me later. I like that the husks were left still attached because they can serve as a handle, and they heavily garnished the corn with butter, Crema, Tajin, cotija and cilantro. At the end of my meal, I saw a server walk by with a bowl of their Green Chili Queso. I couldn’t resist. My curiosity got the best of me, and I’m glad it did. Make sure you order it with the chorizo.
They offer a quesadilla, torta (sandwich), and salad on their menu. But since the word was out that their tacos are “the bomb,” I couldn’t invest stomach space to commit to a sandwich and a salad. It had to be tacos for me and that was the right choice. Their tacos were some of the best I’ve ever eaten, hands down.
As for the service, it is just as superb as the food. Taco Guild makes sure your dining experience is positive from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave. The restaurant clearly marks the menu with gluten-free and vegetarian options. I look forward to my return visit. Well done Guild.
Red Robin is just as good as I remember, minus the atmosphere. I am celiac and our waitress provided me with so much comfort and assurance about their protocols. She even deeply informed me about their frying process. I was able to have a DELICIOUS burger and fries and it made me so happy. The fries and burger are so good, they don’t miss.
We have been here many times now, each time the food tastes as good as it looks, which is mouth watering! The staff works very hard and efficient even though they seem a tiny bit under staffed. They’ve always been upbeat, compassionate and professional. I love their gluten free and vegetarian options since that’s what my partner is restricted in eating. It’s refreshing to have food in a restaurant that cares about how healthy and customizable their food is. I’ve tried just about every bowl they are all incredible. The sweet potatoes are yummy! You can’t go wrong ordering anything here, safe part of the neighborhood and beautiful atmosphere sitting outside or in
When does this place ever get it wrong? As a celiac, I was thrilled to have so many gluten free options. I’m writing this review after having already made quite a few visits, but none of them deserved fewer than 5 stars. I hope for Spinato’s to open a great many more locations, and regularly make this a go-to whenever I’m in the area.
The non-pizza, long fermented pizza was great - worth a try. The decorations looked good, too. Though the long fermented dough is gluten-friendly and not gluten-free, it is nonetheless healthier than the quickly made average pizza.
Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers – 7th Ave Location
If you have food allergies, do NOT eat here. I called this location to ask about allergen info before dining, and not only did the staff have no answers—they didn’t even know what an allergen warning was. That’s not just unprofessional, that’s dangerous. Food allergies can be life-threatening, and for a restaurant to be this clueless in 2025 is mind-blowing.
What makes it worse is that this isn’t just a one-off issue. I checked their entire website and there is no proper allergen breakdown, no ingredient guide, and no downloadable allergen menu. Just a vague “gluten-friendly” mention and nothing else. That’s unacceptable for a chain this size.
This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. It feels like they either don’t care or are trying to avoid liability by not publishing allergen info. Either way, it’s a total fail in food safety and should absolutely be investigated.
If you or someone you love has allergies, steer clear. It’s not worth the risk. I’m reporting them to the health department because someone could die from this level
This was my first time eating at BJ's and I will never come back. I got a chicken sandwich and my girlfriend got a cauliflower pizza. The food wasn't anything special and definitely over-priced. We finished it off with a "gluten free" cookie dessert which was pretty good. Immediately finishing our meals, we both rushed to the bathroom, 3 days later we are both still battling these food poisoning symptoms.

Highly recommend Karma for people with gluten sensitivities. The staff here are very knowledgeable about the ingredients and wheat-free tamari is the default soy sauce on the table. The menu is clearly marked. No dedicated fryer, however. Skillful and friendly staff and high-quality food and drinks.
My husband and I used to love coming here for the gluten free pastry options, but they have really been lacking lately. The Bundt Cake is no longer gluten free, which is a real bummer, considering I know non-gluten free people still used to order/eat it and it seems like an easy thing to keep gluten free. Additionally, the last couple times we have gone, they have not had their gluten free Pop Tarts either, leaving a sad muffin as the only option for gluten free folks. This spot used to be a fan favorite in our house, but I’m not sure why they changed up their offerings.
Great location! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Wish they had the dairy free shake like some locations have! Other than that, the place was clean and the food was incredible like always! Love the gluten free options!!

There was no one monitoring the front. It's all kiosk. I had an ingredient question about a sauce, no one I could ask, and their menu was not forth coming. I only knew their gluten-free nuggets were also nightshade free because I'd asked last time we were in - when there were cashiers. There is a timer for when your food is supposed to be done, that flipped to 'coming soon' for everyone as the timers ran out. I get wanting to operate lean, but at the expense of customer satisfaction/service?
Regarding the food. I remember it being decent last time. This time, however, both hubby and I were so-so with our chicken. We both thought the ginger slaw was bland (barely any ginger). The "ceasar"ish salad was delicious, though. The other plus is they have that pebble/sheet ice which is my favorite (I'm not a soda drinker so I put it in my water).
Genuinely confused how this place has this good of ratings?!?! Couldn’t even get my kid a pepperoni pizza, the pepperonis are so spicy. All pizzas have basically no toppings and all they are is crust and for $25. Gluten free asparagus pasta tasted like baby food. Again not a $25 plate. Portions are SO SMALL. Would not recommend going here. It’s was busy but took forever to get refills. Really would NEVER recommend this place to anyone for the price.
Highly recommend this place for their food and for all the gluten free options! 95% of the menu is gluten free, our server was really knowledgeable about Celiac, and was really accommodating. 5 star food!
It’s loud, cramped, and chaotic AND the pizza is incredible, service is excellent, and prices are super reasonable! Salads are HUGE and fresh, they have gluten free options, and the bathrooms are clean.
Such a CUTE place of downtown! I love, love, love their upstairs outdoor patio. I would 10/10 recommend. They had gluten free options. I wish I got to try a coffee because it looked sooooo delicious and if it was anything like, the mac n cheese, Mahi Mahi, the Nachos or THE CRUSTLESS PUMPKIN PIE🤤 I'm sure it would have been just as scrumptious 😋
Server seemed knowledgeable about celiac, but was slightly rude about it when I asked my questions to confirm safety. Also, the ordering process didn’t completely put my mind at ease. However, after receiving the steak fajitas (made with tamari, soy is mentioned on the menu), I enjoyed the meal and had no issues afterwards. The chips are fried in a solely gluten free fryer. But, I didn’t end up having those. Would recommend if you want some Mexican food.
One of our favorite lunch food stops when we travel I-10. Kitchen is very accommodating our WFPB (Whole Food Plant Based) gluten-free preference. We bring our veggie cheese and they build a gluten-free veggie pizza that is gourmet quality and they're normal menu is sure to please anyone!
This is a relaxed sports bar venue that is great for a fast meal or an afternoon or evening of food, drink, games, & entertainment. I'm sure must snowbird RVers will agree!
Just passing through with your RV? Silly Al's can accommodating with RV parking in the spaces behind the restaurant for only $5!
A lot of gluten free options for people with celiac. The meats were cooked to perfection and the sides were few but delicious. The sauces were also gluten free. The staff were very friendly and professional. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside. Very nice!
FOOD I could eat. They offer gluten free options. Separate fryer for the fries, bonus. Great quality food. We sat outside and people watching was awesome lol
OMG. Have celiac disease and eating out anywhere is a challenge. While the P.F. Chang’s at arrowhead could really add more gluten free chicken dishes (they only offer one and it’s spicy), the chicken fried rice is what dreams are made of. The taste was out of this world.
Cute and efficient pizza stop with custom made options!
I love the opportunity to pay the same price for the ingredients I desire vs. the restaurant’s signature pies. What a wonderful option!
If you crave pizza and don’t have a lot of time, know what you will get a good pizza with exactly the toppings you want here at Your Pie.
The servers were super sweet too, and it’s a high ceiling, open concept room with tables - and booths if you prefer more privacy. They also have a huge patio and I heard we’re dog friendly.
Prices are less than I last paid for a good pizza - and they have gluten free options if you need.
Well done! 👍
The cucumber lemonade was incredibly refreshing after a long summer day in a hot worksite. There were many delicious options and plenty of gluten-free substitutions available. The Turkey panini and Brussels salad were perfect. I will definitely be back when I'm in town again for work - I want to try the entire bruschetta menu!
