Tried the "walnut chorizo" tacos with corn tortilla... vegan, gluten free, and AMAZING! The menu had lots of variety for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten free. There were even options for my carnivorous friends. Staff was great and so very friendly!

Have been here for brunch a few times. Always a favorite of ours. Great to sit on the patio when it’s awesome weather. Love the lattes. We had Moroccan Scramble, Gluten Free French Toast and Shakshouka. Highly recommend.

Miserable. Went here for my friend’s bachelorette dinner. Made reservations 2 months in advance. We were seated in a room with 3 other large parties and only 2 waiters. 2 waiters for 30-40 people…needless to say service was extremely slow and poor. It took an hour for us to get drinks despite having a late seating time (8:20 PM) and our food took another hour. To top it off, our friend with celiac received her dinner with hush puppies on the plate. We chose this restaurant because it was recommended for gluten free. At no point did anyone apologize or offer to compensate us. Even the manager did not seem to care. Instead they brought us the bill with a 20% tip included because we were a large group! We have to ask to have the gluten dish comped. All in all awful experience and mediocre food.

Went today on a Wednesday lunch and had a very short wait time, prompt service, and great tasting food. Also great to have options for everybody in the group (one needing gluten free options and one being vegan/vegetarian), everything was so tasty. We had the challah French toast, black eye pea sandwich (no cheese to make vegan), vegetarian biscuits and gravy, bourbon burger with GF bun and drinks we had were espresso martini and old fashioned.

Leopold’s Ice Cream is a beloved and iconic institution in the heart of Savannah, Georgia, serving superior artisan ice cream since 1919. Founded by Greek brothers George, Peter, and Basil Leopold, the shop has kept intact the tradition of creating ice cream with fresh and natural ingredients, using the same original recipes passed down from generation to generation. Entering Leopold's is like taking a trip back in time. The nostalgic atmosphere of the shop, with its period furniture, marble counters, and swivel stools, perfectly recreates the experience of an authentic 1920s ice cream shop. The walls of the restaurant tell the story of the Leopold family, with photographs and memorabilia that add a personal and affectionate touch to this historic ice cream shop. But the real protagonist at Leopold's is, of course, the ice cream. The menu offers a wide range of classic and original flavours, prepared daily with fresh milk, cream and other high-quality ingredients. Some of the most popular flavors include Tutti Frutti, a combination of candied fruit and nuts that has stood the test of time, and Savannah Socialite, a mix of chocolate, peanut butter and pretzels. In addition to traditional flavors, Leopold's also offers dairy-free and gluten-free options to meet the needs of all customers. Despite the long queue that often forms in front of the shop, the wait is always worth it. The tradition, quality and love for detail that can be perceived in every spoonful make Leopold's Ice Cream an unforgettable experience, a place where memories are created one after the other, spoon after spoon. If you find yourself in Savannah, a visit to Leopold's is an absolute must, one that will leave you with a sweet smile and a desire to return for more.
