I went with my partner who is celiac and allergic to lactose at midday on Easter day! Online booking! Full restaurant but everything served to perfection! Making gluten-free cuisine is never easy, then with the restaurant under attack everything seems difficult! I thank everyone but I want to mention Ionila for the table service with professionalism, courtesy and availability! Lastly Pierluigi who, despite a small misunderstanding at first, proved to be a person of great human depth! I conclude that quality/price are factors that catch the eye! Even though it is an AIC restaurant, I would give it a Michelin star for the presentation of the dishes! Service and location Not everyone happens to eat with a lake view just a couple of meters away! Congratulations to everyone and thank you very much! Until next time

Restaurant located in Borgo Trento with a simple and welcoming atmosphere. The dishes are well prepared, the raw materials are of a high standard and well treated (beef in special oil, as well as the belly). Allergens are well reported (I have celiac disease and didn't have any problems). Although the restaurant was full, probably due to the division of the spaces, there was no annoying noise. We were placed in a room where only our table was located, which made the evening with friends even more special. Parking along the street was found without difficulty. I recommend it without a shadow of a doubt.

The restaurant is in a lovely location and is easy to reach by car or on foot. There is actually gluten-free pasta, but unfortunately not today. We had two starters with cheese and ham selection, spagetti limón, seafood risotto and very special pasta with bacon. We booked through the fork and received a discount.

My family spent a week in Italy (Florence and at Lake Garda/Desenzano) and our first dinner at Al Portico was so fantastic and the experience at this family owned restaurant so delightful that we had to go back. The second meal was even better as we felt like we were having a Sunday family dinner in Naples! They were also incredibly helpful around our gluten sensitivity issues as well. I highly recommend having a meal here when in Desenzano!
