Delicious burger! This quiet outdoor courtyard was just a pleasant bonus. They have such variety of gluten free options. They also have vegan and vegetarian options for those interested. Our server was attentive and offered lots of extras. We took her up on a few.

First, let me say the food was amazing. Lots of normal and particularly gluten-free options for my wife. The restaurant was a very good size with an outdoor space despite the small curbside footprint. One thing that really turned me off about the attitude of the waiter; when asked if my wife and I could side side by side, the waiter said it wouldn’t be possible as we would need a 4 person table. Normally I’d agree, but showed up right at opening and the restaurant was empty and remainder virtually empty the entire time we were there. Not impressed.

I started with the arancini with mortadella and pistachio cream and it was crazy good! Also I’ve never seen an arancini like this before. Instead of little deep fried rice balls, Mama Eat basically makes their arancini into one long, gigantic log. Next I had the eggplant parmigiana and at first glance I was a little disappointed it wasn’t breaded, but the flavor was so good I quickly forgave them.

As a Neapolitan I can tell you that I ate one of the best gluten-free pizzas of my entire life. It is not easy to find suitable solutions for those with allergies and intolerances, well they found it. Congratulations again. I've never had a gluten-free pizza of this quality before. Wow! Eduardo, my host, was extremely attentive. I initially had a table outside. When the sun started shining too brightly in my face, he repeatedly asked me if I wanted to move to another table. Normally, you don't like doing that because you then have to clean two tables. Great! I can't confirm the long wait times mentioned in the reviews. Firstly, I was on vacation, and secondly, I enjoyed the view of the Medici Chapel. Everything was perfect, and I would gladly go back!

We had dinner during a business trip. Helpful, kind and fast staff, pizza among the best ever eaten before. Different flours (cereals, wholemeal, gluten-free, ...), mozzarella also lactose-free and 3 different gluten-free beers, which are usually unobtainable. As soon as you sit down, an aperitif on the house arrives that makes you feel pampered. Large, clean, bright place. Excellent quality/price ratio. Highly recommended!

Waiter Daniele Panini super kind and helpful, really an excellent welcome. Unfortunately the rating on the food was significantly lower, gluten-free pizza not cooked and rubbery, not spread well. Left almost all on the plate. Asked for cooking again but it came back still raw. The normal pizza was not bad. Congratulations again to Daniele though!

Last night I went to Cantina del gelato with some friends. Excellent ice cream shop with unusual, exotic and gluten-free flavors for every need. In addition to the quality of the ice cream I must emphasize the hospitality of the employees. My friends already knew the place and had told me about the old-fashioned closed containers like wells that were definitely more HYGIENIC than the open ones and yesterday I went back to being a child for a moment (in the 80s many ice cream makers had well-shaped containers). Friends indicated how delicious the affogato coffee made with cream from my city was, next time I won't miss it. The 5 stars deserved. Something artisanal in Florence has remained. Thank you

I have been going to this restaurant for many years and it has always been exceptional in everything: pizza, fish, desserts, service and also a fair bill for the high quality of the food. I have been gluten intolerant for 3 years and here is truly the best gluten-free pizza in Florence 😍 the gluten-free dough seems almost the same as that of a pizza with gluten. It is soft, but crunchy and digestible. Also noteworthy is the quality of all the foods and the raw fish! The staff and owner are very kind, attentive to the needs of each individual customer and always with a smile! Also recommended for birthdays!!!

It's always an excellent point of reference where you can have a delicious breakfast, or an excellent brunch or an excellent lunch!! Beautiful environment, beautiful external courtyard!! Excellent gluten-free food with a wide choice of dishes. All gluten free, but for those who don't have gluten free needs, they won't notice the difference. All very good. The owner greeted us on the first evening and invited us to return if we had a good time: we stayed three evenings in a row. According to him, we were the most regular customers. Good food, and if you eat at the restaurant the gluten-free pizza is very good. But there is a problem with gluten-free pizza on delivery. Every time my pizza arrives completely decomposed, all the ingredients do not stay on the pizza, and it is a disaster. Instead that normal pizza of my partner never happens. It is strange, I understand and also a problem of movement in transport but it has not without that only the gluten-free pizza arrives like this and the others do not.

Maybe it's in my city, but the location is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen around the world. The food is good for the standard of type and even we celiacs are welcome. The staff is always friendly and pleasant. Prices normal for HardRock.

Ordered take-away pizzas, they were very kind to have them ready at the requested time, fresh from the oven. Excellent flavor, even the gluten-free one, they made the Meyer day hospital jealous for the aroma released. Honest price (39€) for 3 porcini and truffle pizzas, they also offered us 3 drinks. It had been a few years since I had a meal at their place, also because of my wife's gluten intolerance, but now that I know that even that is not a problem... we will definitely be back.

I've been coming with my friends for about a year and we always leave with full bellies and satisfied. I am gluten intolerant and gluten-free focaccia is served instead of bread (which is not to be taken for granted when receiving a good product and not packaged bread), but the first courses can be made gluten-free. Really delicious and lean meat, cured meats and cheeses. I really recommend it to anyone who wants to have a quality dinner or lunch!!! Excellent service and Fabio (the waiter) is very competent, polite and attentive to the customer

The place is very pretty and picturesque, steeped in history and retaining its essence. The service is perfect; we were served quickly and in Spanish. There are gluten-free options, but the pasta is only spaghetti, with any sauce you like. The food isn't spectacular, but it's good. And it's very cheap! Bread is included in the dinner supplement, which is €3 per person. We ate during the week without a reservation, but booking is recommended.

We stopped by here during a trip to Florence from London. A friend had insisted that we make the journey out of the city to try this pizza. I was dubious as I have celiac and have to eat gluten free. Expectations were very high, but every single one of them was exceeded. The gluten free pizza was specially developed by the head chef, which the menu explained. The texture was incredible, the perfect balance of crispy and chewy. The simple ingredients topping it were of very high quality and perfectly complemented the dough. My husband had a regular pizza with gluten which he also spoke very highly of. Even the desserts were sensational - my gluten free tiramisu made for a beautiful end to the meal. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough; if you are gluten free and you come to Florence, you must make the journey to visit Giovanni Santarpia.
