I had heard a lot about Legal Sea Food and had been advised to try it out especially as they pride themselves in gluten free fish fry and have other fried items all dedicated gf .
We started with the house sangrias : one red & one white . Refreshing especially on a hot and humid summer evening .
Ordered the classic fish and chips prepared gluten free (no pictured) and the cod that was salt-vinegar crusted with a bed of bacon slaw , potato wedges and a lightly mustard remoulade. Delicious dish . Fish was perfectly cooked and crispy . The sauce was just right and tied it all together .
Staff was a bit slow but there was a huge amount of people during peak times so they tried to keep up . I could have had more sangrias but it was a little hard to flag staff down . Not a big concern . The food was excellent !
Although I had been told no reservations were needed I was glad I made them in advanced as the place was hoping and can get a little loud .
Very nice experience will be back next time in Boston
This place has such a cute New England vibe. The staff was happy and friendly, the view is great, and the food was just okay but basically everything could be made gluten free which is a huge plus for me. I would definitely frequent this spot if I lived in the area.
The best food and the most friendly people! They have great gluten free options as well. My family and I have been coming here for years and it’s always been amazing!
Stopped in before a movie with my boyfriend, Stephanie was a great bartender super friendly and knowledgeable and took extra care of me with my gluten allergy. Extra points to earls in general for havin gluten free calamari!!

I had a fantastic experience getting takeout. The staff were kind, they all seemed to know and like each other, there were holiday decorations, and honestly you could taste a higher quality in the sushi given that its advertised as Organic. The one issue I have is wondering just how much of the menu is organic. It was difficult to figure that part out. But I can’t wait to go back. Its totally worth your time, especially something as simple as the Baked Salmon roll. Wow. Absolutely delightful. You can also change rolls to Brown Rice or make them entirely Gluten Free! We need more places like this!
Had lunch there because they have great gluten-free options. I got the fish and chips and hubby got the shrimp and crab cake combo. They were both delicious. We thought we had room for dessert and while the key lime pie and Boston Cream cake were also very good, we were too full to finish them. We came in contact with several employees and each one was cheerful and helpful.

Burlington Mall's Legal Sea Foods is located at 75 Middlesex Turnpike, Burlington, Massachusetts 01803. In every aspect, Legal Sea Foods at Burlington Mall surpassed my expectations.
The spotless, airy, and stylish ambiance set the stage for an incredible meal as soon as we entered. To make us feel cared for and welcomed, the staff went above and beyond.
Eating out can frequently be stressful for someone with celiac disease, but this was not the case here. The fact that practically the whole menu had gluten-free options truly delighted me. Such a wide selection is uncommon, and the level of care taken to accommodate dietary requirements was unmatched.
A considerate and comforting touch were the gluten-free rolls, which were brought out by a different waiter to prevent cross-contamination. The waitress who waited on us was simply wonderful. Extremely kind, informed, and went above and beyond by suggesting a favorite dish.
When my friends adopted their recommendation, he was ecstatic! It's encouraging to see that the employees actually care about the experiences of their visitors.
Fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared, the food was amazing. The feeling of being able to savor a meal without worrying about gluten contamination is difficult to describe. I felt "normal" eating out for the first time in a long time.
I would go here every day if I could, so my only wish is that it were closer to home! We appreciate Legal Sea Foods for reviving the joy of dining out and setting the bar for outstanding service. Strongly advised!
Delicious! A solid, gluten-free meal that my wife and I could both enjoy. The cocktails were strong and food. The lobster was delicious. A very good option for folks eating gluten free.
Beautiful decorations and lively but comfortable seating, the music was awesome. We had the drunken noodles, pad Thai, a sushi dish, appetizers, as well
as spicy marg and a lovely drink called persephone. Reserving was easy, food wqs made very well (great options for spice level, vegan, gluten free etc.), we did not wait long to have great food and leftovers to enjoy. Came for a chill and wonderful celebrating occasion and had. an amazing time, I even had a separate problem after my reservation I had misplaced a belonging I found later on,
still the staff and owner were so kind and quick to help me look. long live the mad
monkfish, have been coming and ordering for years and always enjoy
To go order for my parents, they loved it.
Always great.
Ty.
Gluten free options, dedicated gluten free fryer 🤘.

I have to eat gluten-free, and this place is a gem. I’ve never had any symptoms from cross-contamination. The sushi is my go-to, but the fried rice and General Gau’s chicken are great too. Takeout is quick, usually ready in about 30 minutes. Highly recommend!
As you know, I don't do food photos as you know. It comes on a plate most times, and Legal.Seafood in Dedham really knocked it out of the park in that category. I might add a Pic from outside.
Excellent location, btw! All kinds of shopping. I would suggest getting on your device and adding a reservation. It's pretty busy.
Nathan was our server. He was well-versed and enthusiastic about Legal Seafood's attentiveness to the nation's recent rash of food allergies. The Manager as well, I didn't get her name, was as well. Essentially, if you are looking for a place in SW Boston where you can safely get a very decent meal even totally gluten free, this is the place. Sevice: excellent
On to the food: great variety of Seafood as one would think. Very fresh, very well prepared, and plated.
This was our first Legal Seafood, and we were exceptionally pleased. We found the prices very reasonable, and certainly worth the time (quick service in any event).
But I would suggest going on your device and hooking yourself up with a reservation. It's easy enough.
Having said that, enjoy.
AVOID NOT GF FRIENDLY:
Our “waitress” brought my husband soy sauce that looked exactly like every other soy sauce, we questioned this, and she said it was fine. It clearly had gluten in it and he had pains so bad we contemplated going to the hospital. WILL NOT BE BACK
From the delicious food to the friendly and attentive staff to the incredibly cool ambience, Karma is the place to dine at for a wonderful experience (especially if you have a gluten allergy like myself)! They have a completely separate gluten free menu and the staff are very knowledgeable of allergies. I ordered the spicy beef with a side of white rice and it vanished in no time at all! I can't wait to go back! 10/10 would recommend.
Loved the food. Quick service
Food is very tasty. They do have vegetarian and gluten free options on menu. Bento box is only lunch menu till 3pm. Paid Parking on street side or garage just around the corner.
I love Waikiki! Celiac-safe with gluten free labels clearly marked. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get (which is a LOT). Delicious and pleasant atmosphere.

Sad to say but not safe for celiacs- at least not the sushi. Actually really sad about this because I loved this place and actually really trusted the diligence and knowledge of allergies but I got sat at the sushi bar tonight and saw my order get cross contaminated, rolling fish in tempura and then using the same glove and knife on my supposedly gluten free sushi roll (for those who don’t know with celiac even the smallest amount of gluten can make someone really sick for days). Very disappointed because it makes me question if my food was ever really safe even in the kitchen. Unfortunately I am only symptomatic sometimes so I can’t tell if I was “glutened” many times before and didn’t know. Even when asymptomatic any amount of gluten will cause an autoimmune response for someone with celiac and damage their intestines. Hoping that the restaurant reads these reviews and makes it safer for their gluten free community since I can see they try to include us in their menu options.
3 Monkeys was a great time! The food is tasty and I enjoyed the drinks as well. I hade the Poke bowl with big eye tuna and a spicy sushi roll topped with a radish slice and a dab of siracha sauce. A bit expensive, but worth the time and money for a good meal in town. They also had plenty of gluten free options, as well as accommodations for peanut and treenut allergies, which worked very well for me.
Amazing customer service and amazing food. Hot pot is delicious and servers are the kindest people and are very patient with people who are new to hot pot. Also coming from someone with celiac very gluten free friendly, I was able to eat everything I wanted on the menu
Hands down the best sushi in the Boston area. So fresh and creative. You usually need a reservation to have dinner here and they only accept them via phone or email (an online booking would be really great in the future!). Takeout sushi is just as outstanding. They can make gluten free sushi as well which is awesome.
It was my best experience at Japanese restaurant! They have many gluten free options; salmon teriyaki is very tasty, and dragon maki is best of the best. All products are very fresh. In two days we were here 4 times!!! GOD BLESS FUJI!!!
I would have loved to leave a 5-star review—our server was fantastic: warm, attentive, and clearly cared about our experience. The appetizers were also genuinely delicious. However, the way this restaurant handled a gluten allergy specifically celiac disease was deeply disappointing.
We informed the host about the allergy when we arrived, expecting it to be clearly communicated to the kitchen. Despite that, the wrong entrée—one that was not gluten-free was served to my friend with celiac. Unfortunately, they took a bite before we realized the mistake. Our server quickly caught it, removed the dish, and brought the correct one, and we appreciated their fast response.
What was unacceptable was how the manager handled the situation. She came over and simply kept asking, "Is she okay?" even after we explained that this wasn’t a mild intolerance, but a medical condition that requires strict avoidance of gluten. There was no real apology, no acknowledgment of the seriousness of the mistake, and no meaningful follow-up after that brief interaction.
Yes, the restaurant was busy but it’s still an allergy. Celiac disease isn’t something that can be brushed off with a quick “are you okay?” It requires care, attention, and clear communication from both the kitchen and the management.
At a restaurant of this caliber, I expected far better. The manager’s dismissive approach left a bad taste, and unfortunately, it overshadowed what should have been a great dining experience.
We loved this place so much that we went here two nights in a row. Even though we ended up with the wrong sushi roll and ended up with a spicy tuna tataki . The spicy tuna tataki will be added to all future orders in addition to the steamed gyoza, chicken pad Thai, and pineapple fried rice. This is high quality food and in my opinion worth the price. You get what you pay for. This fed 4 people and we even have some leftovers for tomorrow.
The staff was super friendly and also very alert to allergies which was highly appreciated since we have a family of almost all Gluten and shellfish allergies.
I can't wait to come back during my next visit!
❤️
Absolutely perfect experience. I never write reviews, and this experience made me so happy, I couldn’t wait to write one. MELANIE is the absolute best server I’ve ever had.
I have a ton of food allergies, it is so hard for me to find places to eat. We were in town for a wedding we were working & I found bluefins online in my findmeglutenfree app. The gentleman that answered the phone was so lovely he called me back with an answer about an allergy question. Then coming in, the restaurant was perfect, the wine was amazing, the food was incredible and Melanie was what made our trip even better.
We loved her, she was the best waitress. So funny and great. Did her job perfectly. So attentive to us. I am sad I can’t come back tomorrow!!! I can’t come back soon enough and I hope every person has Melanie as their waitress!!!
My family went out to dinner here passing through Boston and the options were good for gluten free and vegetarian eaters! The food and service were very good, it was a little bit cold inside but it was a nice place to sit and eat. Prices were reasonable and the food was delicious!
Last week on Flag Day I went here for dinner, and everything was amazing. Especially Ryan who led me to my table greeted me with a smile, and my server Virginia was positive and polite. The food was great and had a lot of Gluten Free options. I will definitely be returning because the service and food was great!
Great, innovative, fresh, delicious, sushi in big portions - with celiac safe gluten free gf menu.
We got delivery over to seaport - easy, no hassle.
Daughter got the ice cream with a fish waffle.
The lobster sushi was really good - nice use of garnish and very fresh seafood.
Good sushi, lots of different options. They have gluten free soy sauce available which is great. The miso soup is delicious. Good tall mai tai. Went in on a Monday night and even though the restaurant didn’t look busy, the service was pretty slow.
Sam, our server, was awesome! Food was great, cocktails and desserts too!
Highly recommend! The place was packed yet the service was on point!!
I’m gluten free and Sam attended to my needs perfectly! Even the manager came out to church on me .
Cute little hole in the wall (or ground as the case may be 😅) serving a blend of Thai and Japanese-American staples. I tried their hamachi nigiri, which had an excellent quality fish. Their fried tofu was some of the best I've ever had, except there wasn't enough of the sweet and sour sauce so it was a little dry. But the tofu itself had this amazingly crispy outside and cloud soft texture inside. Their fried tofu is gluten free and they GF soy sauce as well. Don't be alarmed, they label their gluten free soy sauce as "gluten".

Amazing fresh food very friendly staff would 100% recommend with a lot of diversity on the menu . My group of people all have very different dietary restrictions - gluten allergy , vegan, gastric sleeve, fruit and shell fish allergy and they were extremely accommodating
Everything we ordered was good. What was special though was the General Gao's chicken. I have an egg allergy and a gluten allergy (as of 6 years ago). I rarely find general's chicken that I can eat that is a both egg free and GF. When I do, it usually sucks. The General's chicken at Blue Fiji however was delicious! I've already gone back twice for more!
If I could rate this as a negative star review, I would.
We had a reservation for 6 pm, and came early in order to make sure we came in on time. Thank goodness we had a reservation at all, because we waited an additional half an hour in order to get our table, hinting that this place overbooks their reservations, knowing you will have nowhere else to go at that point.
We made it abundantly clear one of our parties was allergic to soy, and to also bring out our appetizers and entrees at the same time, as the allergic member of our party had not eaten yet.
We got our appetizers separately instead of together, which at this point was an hour and fifteen minutes into our stay. Our appetizers were fine, which was the only saving grace of our meal, however it was expeditiously devoured, and left us still hungrily awaiting another forty five minutes for the main course. Our server, Michelle, ignored us several times, and only came to our table once in the interim to fill our water.
Finally, when we received our meals, two hours into our meal, our server asked our soy allergic member of our party if they would like GLUTEN FREE SOY SAUCE. Read that back again if you need to, I was as shocked. I had ordered their Kraken Roll, with a whopping price tag of sixteen dollars, to be promptly disappointed by the small, sad roll that was displayed before me. Not only was this the case, but many of our parties rolls were served with blue-tinted rice… A moniker that indicates that the rice is beginning to turn. As we ate, our server had the gall to ask us if we were enjoying our meal. At this point, after they had mistakenly gave my partner a cucumber roll, we decided to walk out of our party and head outside.
All in all, if I was stranded on a deserted island and this food was airdropped to me via rescue team, I’d promptly drink the sea water. The only saving grace was the appetizer, and the other patrons which mocked the situation the staff had placed themselves in. Do not eat at Iya unless you want to laugh at the all white sushi chefs and the owner which tries (and fails) to accommodate.
Came here to get a small bite to eat after seeing reviews that they can accommodate GF. They changed gloves and made it according to allergy protocols, I felt very safe. The food was very good too, I had a hand roll. The bowls looked good too and they had Gluten free options marked.
My wife and I are new to the Cape and had been recommended this place by many friends. Needless to say, we were not let down. Probably the best burger I have had in the Cape area. Their selection of burgers and beer did not disappoint. They are also one of the few places I have found that offer a Gluten-free bun for my wife. We will definitely be going back and look forward to trying the turkey burgers and salmon burgers as well.
