A lovely gentleman took care of us, excellent customer service. The food was delicious, my mother has celiac and other food intolerances, she had plenty of options to choose from. I had their prosciutto panini, it was yummy. Highly recommend!
Went for a family lunch and it was great! the waiter was really helpful for recommendations for pescatarian and gluten-free options. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. Absolutely recommend this place for great food and drinks.
I’m so thrilled to have Ethiopian food nearby- in my opinion it is the most underrated cuisine in the West. Teff, used to make injera, is a gluten free grain that’s high in protein and vitamins. The cuisine is vegan friendly and uses so many incredible spices. The restaurant is beautiful, everyone is friendly, and the food is always fresh. Highly recommend the injera chips as an appetizer.
Riko’s Pizza is a must-visit!
I’m celiac and finding amazing pizza that’s safe and delicious isn’t easy — but Riko’s nailed it. The crust is perfectly thin and crisp, and the flavors are incredible. They offer so many gluten-free and gluten-alternative options, and I felt totally taken care of. Their wings are also gluten free! It’s rare to find a spot that gets it right on both taste and dietary needs.
Can’t wait to come back!
Great little place to get pizza and hang out with friends. Enjoyed the gluten free pizza and appreciated the thoughtful server who explained how to tell which pizza was gluten free.
If you don't mind spending a little bit more, DIG makes excellent, healthy food that offers lots of choices and flavors. I never know what to get, and I've never been disappointed! Don't sleep on the gluten-free brownies - they're rich and delicious!

Nora is amazing! For starters, everything she makes is delicious, especially the gluten free carrot cake.
Her cakes are next level incredible. They taste as amazing as they look and boy do they look beautiful. Nora made the cake and cake-pops for my son’s first birthday. I asked her for an under the sea themed cake and she delivered a showstopper! Nora even offered us two different flavors (one for each tier) at no additional charge. Every detail was beautiful, even the teeth on the angler fish, everything was edible, and everything was delicious (even the “sand” and seashells). Nora is truly an artist and a pleasure to work with.
Laylas is definitely growing heavy in my Stamford gluten free rotation. There are ample gf options including the falafel, hummus, and fries and they have a dedicated gf fryer. The staff at the cashier was very helpful and they had good procedures for avoiding cross contamination. I particularly loved the grape leaves. Only bummer is a lack of gluten free pita.
Excellent experience! Super helpful in guiding our gluten free guests through the buffet! Wonderful food! Incredible hot naan served at the table. Highly recommend!
Great welcome with the host! Great food! Braised short Ribs were delicious. Has gluten free options as well including gf pasta. The atmosphere is a bit noisy.
If you’re in Stamford and there’s nowhere else to go then this place, attached to la Quinta, right off 95, has a cool, old school American diner look and a nice hostess. Order something very safe. Do not order any salad, anything with chicken or the French dip au jus, because they are just not good at all. I met my friend and her daughter there. We normally meet at the fabulous New Rochelle diner, but we thought we’d change things up. Sigh. We told the waiter the daughter was celiac and asked several questions about what was gluten free. She got grilled cheese on gf bread which came with French fries that were NOT gluten free. Fortunately the daughter sensed they weren’t and held off eating them. The waiter just didn’t register his mistake. No one ever bused the table which was a mess. We finally went and found a waiter and ordered lemon meringue pie- 2 slices - and deçàf. The decaf was great, the pie had a bit of freezer burn but was fine.
The place looks fun, but it’s just not good or friendly besides the hostess. Then, while we were eating the pie they began to vacuum. Loudly.
We are friendly and there’s nothing off putting about us. We didn’t say anything about the fries mishap or anything else, and they decided to just full out loudly vacuum right there in our faces. No communication/offer to have us move.
In short, they were unfriendly and the food was bad.
As you can see, I like this place a lot. One of the first times I went to Remo’s was for my sixteenth birthday, I am now about to turn 22!
I’ve lived in the Fairfield/Westchester County area my entire life, and have frequented NYC since birth. Remo’s pizza, specifically their margherita pizza with pepperoni holds the highest place in my heart when it comes to pizza.
Whenever I would come back from college for breaks or visits, I ask to go to Remo’s! Their other food is great, and my friends and family and I love coming back. The staff is super friendly too :)
Also, my friend who has celiac’s never had a problem ordering!
Thank you Remo’s!!
Food is limited to pastries, etc. to pair with your favorite beverage. The gluten-free brownie was amazing! I won't tell it's gluten-free if you won't!
While we were there, the bathroom was out of service, so we had to go next door. Also, the music was a bit loud to have a conversation. These small challenges won't stop us from coming back to try more goodies!
Fantastic service and food. We moved here before the spring and everything was shut down, and this place was a savior. Definitely loyal customers, especially when it comes to gluten free food that isn't overpriced, gross pizza. Only complaint is my friend who orders from here frequently when they visit wished their sashimi was on watercress or carrots. "Garnish is gross especially when you order a bigger dish." - my friend and fan of yours
Will always order and maybe even try new things. :)
I love Rikos but it’s not clear that if you order gluten free you get gluten free. Some times they just say it’s gluten free if there is no gluten free sticker and I end up not eating my favorite pizza because it doesn’t feel like it’s taken seriously.
This location is very careful with cross contamination for gluten free sandwiches. They are good about changing gloves and have a whole separate prep area which makes me feel safe eating here.
Nice chai latte and omelette. Dairy free and gluten free options available. Fresh, generous portions. There is no seating inside, so it’s more of a grab and go place.
Delicioso! As a sensitive celiac, I struggle to find authentic cuisine and Chicho's consistently checks all the boxes! Always fresh ingredients, always follow through on my nit-picky order notes and just so so delicious! My dairy-free partner is also happily obsessed. If you're on the fence, give them a try! I haven't been to the restaurant to eat yet, just take out, but you can bet that's next!
I hosted my sister's baby shower here last weekend. I was really impressed by how Will (manager) and the chef accommodated a custom menu that met all the unique dietary requirements of our party (vegan, vegetarian, celiac, dairy free). The view from the semi-private area of the restaurant where we held the party felt quite personal, with a great view of the patio and water. Nice, tall, green hedges sectioned off our area from the rest of the restaurant. We were allowed to arrive early to set up some flower arrangements and all the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful (they provided us with glasses for flowers and an extra high table for party favors, and they cleaned up everything we brought after we left). They even let us linger longer after our three hour time slot had finished. Everything went so smoothly and was very relaxed and delicious. The cocktails and mocktails were GREAT too. Thank you so much for making it a special celebration for our family and friends.
A group from a conference went here for dinner. Everything about the place was magnificent - for the wait staff who were attentive to our questions, food allergen concerns and suggestions to those who brought us our food from the kitchen with a stylish flare and attention to details. The cucucumber cooler mocktail was refreshing while the other ladies had one of the red wines which they loved. I had never had 'duck ragu' and it was delightful with the gluten-free pasta. One of our party had the pasta special - funghi while the other had the linguine and clams. Sorry we took no pictures to showcase the place. I will definetly visit again when I visit Conneticut.
I came here on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend. They prepared a wonderful gluten free ravioli. The atmosphere is extremely romantic. Our server was very attentive to us and to my dietary restrictions.
Nada was amazing, super helpful and knowledgeable with the food. I have a gluten allergy and she was very helpful. The food was wonderful and adorable café. I recommend anybody coming here from out of town!
Came here for the first time tonight :) outstanding food and great customer service. I’m gluten free and they had tons of options to choose from. I ordered the gluten free pizza and it was delicious. My friends tried the gluten free pizza who aren’t gluten free and said it tasted Just like regular pizza. I can’t wait to come again thank you ❤️
We had a great experience at Hop & Vine!! The gluten-free options were fantastic, catering perfectly to my dietary needs. The service was exceptional, attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to hang out with friends. The beer selection was impressive, and the cocktails complemented the food beautifully. I can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!
Good pizza and excellent Italian dishes. Good prices on specials during the week. Has both gluten free pizza and gluten free pasta that actually tastes great. Friendly and attentive staff. Easy parking out front or plenty of parking in the back.
Holy Cow! Eat here. It’s an amazing deli. Fresh. Well executed. Pickles are insanely delicious. The home made chips to DIE FOR.
And the best part is……. They are gluten free friendly.
My partner and I occasionally get the gluten free breakfast sandwiches here and they’re really solid. I appreciate that they are careful about cross contamination. Their matcha lattes are really high quality. The coffee is also great.
My partner has celiacs and we’ve had takeout from here a few times and really enjoy their range of gluten free options. There’s a field to mark your allergies in the online ordering system. We love the saag curry with goat, the paneer tikka masala and dal makhani. We typically order 3-4 entrees and have enough for several meals worth of leftovers later in the week.
We visited for tonight for the restaurants soft opening and were impressed that the quality of the restaurant is already so good! I’ve been a fan of the sister restaurant, Chicho’s, for years and I’m excited that they finally offer a sit down restaurant option in a better location! I also have a dietary restriction and they were really helpful and careful about the food being gluten free, which is really important to me as a customer.
The margaritas were absolutely delicious, especially the tamarind one. There were lots of good and unique flavor options. The guacamole was fresh and good, but they didn’t give us enough chips with it. We also tried the corn and a birria taco, which were both very tasty!
The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They were attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. I’m excited to see how the restaurant continues to improve as time goes on but I recommend all taco / marg lovers give it a try!!
