Everything was OK, especially the bufala and the salad, and the ‘normal’ pizza. The gluten-free version of a pizza was a bit floury and strange but the toppings were great. The mozzarella sticks for kids would have been enough for an entire class and the coating was unusual for our kid.
Came here because we heard their gluten-free pasta was good. And it is! The gluten-free pizza is also on point.
I wouldn’t recommend the Alfredo sauce (fairly bland, even with more table Parmesan and salt). Also, the service dropped off with the business… when it was busiest, the attention was regular but as it thinned out, attention became less frequent. Also, they started cleaning the windows while we still eating, and the smell of windex adds nothing to the food.
Also note: the vegetarian and gluten-free options are on the same menu, with little differentiation between them ; fortunately the waiter was on the ball and made sure we got the gluten-free options.
Wow! Everything we had was delicious. Anna is a goddess who came to us with assurance that we can have a great meal without gluten. We had the nachos with pork, chicken and beef cheesesteaks (on amazing gluten-free bread!), and the Chai-tini. We couldn't finish the other half of our sandwiches so we ate them on a hike the next day (soo good!). We'd love to come back whenever we're in town again.
Loved this spot in Moab! Great gluten free options - gotta try the gf coffee cake and chocolate chip pecan bar. To die for! And the salads come in a very generous portion with a treat. We enjoyed an Asian chicken salad that was very flavorful. Mention you’re gluten free and they will include a gf treat. I got a macaroon that was perfectly soft inside and crunchy on the outside. My husband loved the carrot cake and he’s picky about his cake.
A great resturant to relax qnd enjoy a drink or two after an active day in the moab area. They have some strong cocktails and good burger options. Vegan and gluten free options are available as well
Amazing dinner provided by good people! They were accommodating and knowledgeable about gluten. We were thankful to have a great dinner without worries. Thank you!
Gloria’s in Moab is fantastic. I am gluten free and they had so many options. Their smoothies are delicious and fresh, perfect for a refreshing treat after exploring. The customer service is super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Definitely a great spot to stop by if you’re in town!
The pizzas were rich with quality toppings. Wife had the gluten free crust which was good and had flavor and texture. I had the Godfather and was pleased
Zax was willing to accommodate our 18 person group with several kids and gluten sensitive diners. Sitting upstairs on the patio is fun! Good food. Good service.
A friendly spot to stop in and get a local brew or other drink. They have many gluten free as well as vegan options to choose from as well as a regular menu.
Our gluten-free teenager said his burger was the best he has ever had! The owner was super friendly and shared her passion for cooking good food with us. She makes her own scrumptious bread pudding from scratch. We highly recommend catching a meal here when in Moab.
This place was amazing we came in two days in a row! They are the only ones open late and I am gluten free and they had so many options for me that tasted great!
We thought there was no room but instead they made us sit in a short time. A location with a very nice panoramic terrace, efficient service, Julia was very kind, she helped us and advised us on our gluten free needs. We recommend it, come and you won't regret it!
We ate there tonight and Shay was our server and she was amazing. She went out of her way to make sure everything was gluten free, she even found out all the ingredients in the sauce for me. The gf bun was really good, it was moist and didn’t fall apart. The sweet potato fries were delicious!
I can’t possibly say enough about this place. First I will be back. Every single time I visit Moab. Vegan and Gluten free friendly. Over the top on this. So many options. The food tastes clean. By clean I mean this tastes homemade and healthy not packaged. . The environment is kind of like being a guest in someone’s home. They are probably the absolute cleanest restaurant I have ever been in, ever. Again, like being a guest in a home that people love. The staff are friendly, warm, kind and absolutely wonderful overall. Finally, I just can’t say enough about the quality of the food offered here. Moab is going to be a regular spot for me moving forward and this place will be my regular spot as well. Hands down best quality in a restaurant I’ve ever seen.
So glad we checked out this gem of a restaurant! Our resort recommended it. And I read many great reviews! As soon as you enter a warm aroma of the spices greets you! The service was excellent - you can tell they truly care about your enjoyment! I had the Chicken shish kabob (made gluten free). My mom had the havarti chicken shish kabob. My dad had the stuffed eggplant. We also had the sautéed shrimp appetizer which was phenomenal. All of the food was outstanding - the flavors, textures, presentation. We got full and left pleased. If you are in the Moab area, this out this place!
I don’t think the hours listed on google are accurate, as it says it closed at 8pm. We got there at 7:30p. And several folks came in to eat after 8pm. So may want to double check their hours.
We stop at the blue pig every year we go to Moab for rodeo good food. They have options for me I have Graves disease and hyperthyroidism and autoimmune and gluten allergy.
Absolutely awesome, authentic Thai food! We went for an early dinner after visiting Canyonlands. My wife is Celiac and must eat gluten free...she had the Green Curry and it was outstanding! My Panang Curry was delicious, as was my daughter's Drunken Noodles and son's Chicken Verde (pasta with green curry). Service was terrific, friendly and knowledgeable. It was so good, we went back the next night after visiting Arches National Park and sat outside in their quaint courtyard! This time, they prepared the Drunken Noodles gluten-free, which was amazing. The kids loved the pho and the shumai, and even the Thai Cucumber Salad was delicious. I highly recommend Arches Thai! Please open a second location in Atlanta (Peachtree Corners)! :)
NOT a good place to go if you have food sensitivities or allergies. The menu has gluten free options but I wouldn't trust it. Was told everything in the kitchen gets cross contaminated with allergens and gluten.
I’ve always liked this place. The food is solid, service is usually quick and friendly. But this last visit was rough. Our server, Evelyn, had a really off-putting attitude from the start. My girlfriend, who has celiac, politely asked about gluten-free options, and Evelyn responded in a snappy, dismissive tone, didn’t make eye contact, and acted like it was a burden to answer. She didn’t check on us once after taking our order.
When we didn’t leave a tip (because the service was just bad), she actually came outside and asked for cash, saying she only makes $2.50 an hour — as if that somehow justified the way she treated us. Totally unprofessional and disappointing from a place I’ve always enjoyed.
Couldn’t tell you how many times we have been here, but it’s more than 20 times. It’s a tradition to go there every time we go adventuring in Moab. Love the green chili. My wife loves the enchiladas. The fajitas are pretty great too. The only thing I wish they had, is a separate fryer so that the chips were gluten free. Great margaritas too.
They have a delicious chai latte! Also have some good foods options, and a couple of gluten free options like donuts and brownies. They’re open later than a lot of the other coffee shops, and are a great spot for a quick snack or a drink in the afternoon. I went back a second day because their chai was so good.
So excited for a delicious gluten-free Meg's breakfast sandwich and my husband had the meg's on an everything bagel, Yum!
So good we came again the next day!!
Variety of options. Most of the frozen yogurt is labeled gluten free. They also have a gluten free chocolate chip cookie (I didn’t try it but it looked big). The yogurt was tasty and lots of options for toppings.
Horsethief is a hidden gem located at Moab Springs Ranch. Celiacs/Wheat intolerant folks…rejoice, there are fresh baked GF items including GF bagels on the menu. The breakfast menu has quite a few delicious sounding options. The Out of Towner bagel sandwiches were delicious and so fresh. Our barista, Crystal, was friendly and helpful. The Cafe Mocha was excellent as well as the Chai. The outdoor space is sunny with ample seating as well as blankets to keep you from getting chilled... easy parking also. If you are lucky you might be visited by the MSR cat, Wiz. As locals, this is now our favorite spot for coffee and bites. They are open 7 days a week, 6:30am-11am. It is well worth your time to make the trip to Horsethief.
This restaurant was a great stop. The food was amazing, definitely try the birria tacos and the guacamole dip. We also had the frozen margaritas which were delicious (highly recommend the strawberry/mango or the blackberry). Lastly, the service was wonderful. Everyone was so kind and helpful. We absolutely loved this place! They were even able to provide gluten free options for my friend.
City Market is the major supermarket in Moab, Utah (there is a second biggest as well - but that's it) and Moab expands yearly from their 5000 locals to 3-5 MILLION. I have seen over the years how CM has done it's best to keep up it's stock catering to the dietary habits of all those people (from water, an essential here, to gluten free, lactose free, etc). During the Covid pandemic it was even rumored how the manager kept the local restaurants afloat by catoring employee lunches when there was little to no tourists.
That said, I still find City Market to be the go-to supermarket in Moab as I generally find what I am looking for at a decent price!
We stopped by here while in Moab and are so glad we did! The staff was very friendly, and I had the best café de olla I’ve ever had. They had alternative milk options and some packaged items that were gluten free/vegan.
I had the Gold Knob Nachos and they were great! I really appreciated that everything on the menu was either gluten free or could be modified to gf. There were no prices on the menu, which I always find odd, but it was nice to see a plant-based food truck.
We went about 3pm. Most people were sitting outside, so I think that’s why service was slow. The staff was super friendly.
I got the portabello Bahn mi, gluten free.
It was AMAZING. The gluten-free on me came on a hoagie roll.
The french fries are gluten-free flavored incredibly.
We also got fish tacos, which were so well done and kids chicken tenders, which were a big hit
The food was great.
Nachos were very good. The chicken cordon Bleu was a unique spin and really flavorful, as was the trout. The portion of steak with the steak Alfredo was surprisingly generous.
Service was really fast and prices were good. Good gluten free options.
Highly recommend
Came for the live music was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful service and excellent quality of food and true 10/10! Was not disappointed! Amazing service, Ashely was very accommodating to my dietary restrictions (gluten free). I felt very welcomed! Will be back on my next trip to moab!!
