Pizza not safe for celiac despite the reviews on here as there is major cross contamination. Speak to staff as they are knowledgeable and were able to offer an alternative which was delicious !

Had a great experience here, new favourite restaurant in Sydney. Food is incredible, waitstaff were great too. Majority of the menu was gluten free. Most of the pastas could be had with a delicious gluten free pasta that seemed to be freshly made. Mafaldine crab was amazing. As were the artichokes.

Ordered the lamb salad and a pizza with chips to share. We asked for the chips to come out first but the lamb salad came out before they did. So we asked how long the pizza would be as one of us had our meal and the other didn’t - waiter said he’s asked them to start making it now…! Second visit here and I had the lamb salad last time which was beautiful and huge. This time, the salad was still lovely but was definitely almost half the size. Don’t know if we’ll be back. The gluten free Portuguese chicken pizza was very average.

The atmosphere was excellent and if you don't have any dietary requirements, this place looked excellent. Everyone who could eat without care raved about how good the food was. In saying this, my review wouldn't be two stars without issues. As the lone gluten free person, my food was absolutely not worth $80 in any world. I had some salad (shared with everyone), salmon carpaccio (which was nice enough), and two pastas that I could share with our vegan at the table. The pastas were gluten free dry boxed pastas, and one wasn't even properly cooked (it was still relatively hard and dry, which is how I could tell they were boxed dried pasta). Additionally, our vegan was told that both pastas were gluten free and vegan. As it turned out, one was lamb. I wouldn't trust this restaurant if you have any allergies. Also, for vegan food they provided some shared salad, bruschetta, and actually only one (gluten free dried) pasta. That was also $80. I won't be coming back to this restaurant if I can avoid it. I'd rather spend $80 at the pokies next door if I want to feel disappointment.

Absolutely disappointed with the $35 Prawn linguine pasta. It was VERY watery and the Linguine noodle was overcooked, no taste at all. Not even an exaggeration. 4 prawns and watered down pasta is not what you are expecting when you pay $30++. Definitely the worst pasta I have ever seen and tasted. Avoid at all costs. Although service provided by the wait staff was good. Hopefully they improve the quality of the food being served. They do offer gluten free options on the menu. However, was not able to try it. Will not be coming back.

We recently held our wedding reception at Kitchen by Mike, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the start, communication with Ellen was a breeze, and they were incredibly accommodating with all our requests, including a gluten-free and vegetarian menu. On the day of the event, everything went smoothly, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food was delicious and received numerous compliments from our guests. They also couldn’t stop praising the service, as the staff was super helpful and ensured everyone’s wine glasses were always topped up. Thank you so much!

Really nice spot for morning tea looking out over the water. The staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful. They have a number of gluten free options, and their cake portions are definitely generous! They have a variety of milk options, but no lactose free.

Great vibes and fantastic breakfast options, coffee was burnt but it was busy so I’ll give the benefit of the doubt. Gluten free and dairy options are bang on. Inside ambient lighting and cozy tables give Paris bistro but with an English pub Fitout. Service on par though a little slow given the volume of customers. Will give it another crack sometime when it’s less busy and see how they fare!

Ordered a GF burger and chips. Menu said may contain gluten, but the staff had relatives with coeliac and ate it with no troubles. Burger and chips was excellent.

So well looked after here! The chef and his staff were so friendly and accommodating to our dietary needs (coeliac) and made sure everything that came to our table had no cross contamination of gluten products. We enjoyed some of the nicest brazillian bbq dishes off their all you can eat menu and two servings of their truffle desserts. We like to eat so we spent a little more than the average person, but you can easily enjoy a decent meal here for $40-$70/person. 10/10 recommend.

I visited Bentley Restaurant and Bar with my partner for our anniversary last weekend and we had an amazing time. We had the vegan tasting menu and both of us have dietary requirements which the staff were more than happy to help us with. I found the staff to be extremely friendly, helpful and kind. The food was really interesting and delicious- there was a wide range of textures and tastes that I haven't tried before. I was impressed with the range (about 12 different dishes) considering that between the two of us we had about 5 or 6 allergies. The staff made gluten free bread specifically for us so I really felt like I wasn't missing out. The cocktails were delicious and very interesting. I particularly liked the rose and the yuzu pepper cocktail. I do wish there was a few more cocktail options but this is definitely a place for wine lovers (there are wine bottles lining the walls)! While it was very expensive, it is definitely worth it for an occasional splurge and I would definitely consider coming back for a special occasion! I recommend this place if you're vegan and are an adventurous eater.

disappointed as given the wrong food. asked about their gluten free options as i have coeliac disease, was handed a menu with gf options and double checked which sides were gf as well (bacon, sausage, hash brown). ordered gluten free scrambled eggs with these three sides after checking it was safe. when our meals came out i asked if mine was gluten free and they said “no it’s not”. they proceeded to take the meal away and prepare me a new one which i was happy enough to eat. the food was really nice and i do recommend, but just be careful if you have any allergies or intolerances to double check you have the correct meal. i hope this establishment improves this issue and training of staff as it can be really unsafe.

Hubby and I had to come into Sydney this week for a couple of appointments and we stopped at Mission cafe for a coffee and cake before heading home. The owner is so nice and helpful. I can only eat gluten free cakes and was very happy with the passion fruit slice that I was given and the coffee is to die for. The staff are very nice.
