I’ve been to Dough Street frequently due to it being so close and every time the food is absolutely delicious. Since being diagnosed coeliac 10+ years ago, one of the things I miss the most of tasting real - it’s a H&C croissant and these have never disappointed. This humble store served me easily the best gluten free donut I've ever tasted, it's so crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, most gluten free baked goods I've tried are just cardboard in texture and don't compare to their gluten counterpart.. but I was in heaven having this, and you can't even really tell it's gluten free! Jam and cream were both fresh and the lady was friendly. Highly recommend!!

We came here for lunch on a Sunday, we had a really enjoyable time. The service was very friendly and always there when needed. The bread tastes amazing, I definitely recommend having a piece as entree. If you’re vegan, you can have olive oil instead of butter. No gluten free option unfortunately. They have a vegan menu which highlights the dishes which are vegan friendly. Also gluten free is accommodated, you just have to ask as the menu doesn’t show any dietary icons. The atmosphere was amazing, warm light and soft lounge music playing in the background. You can see the kitchen which makes it very authentic. A wide range of really good wine and aperitif’s. It’s definitely a bit more expensive but worth every bite.

Absolutely the BEST cakes and sweets ever. I ordered a whole cake, and a bunch of desserts for a party. They were absolutely delicious. The main cake was gluten free- you couldn’t tell the difference. The service was so patient and kind (even when I came to pick up my order and I realised I had made the order for the WRONG DAY). Despite it being my fault, the staff turned what could have been a very stressful situation into something that wasn’t an issue at all. They were still able to fulfill the majority of my order with no fuss.

The brownie was great too and somehow gluten free. It was moist and not too sugary, so you could taste other flavors. It also has chocolate chunks in it.

I go through here most mornings when I'm working out that way , what can I say but the young girl behind the counter is amazing , always friendly and up for a chat ☺️ having the outside animal part is awesome and a nice touch when I get to sit and watch emus and goats etc when sipping me coffee .. now onto the food .. holy crap !!!! .. everything I've had from there has been so awesome !! .. my favourite is the lemon cloud cookie and you can see how much effort goes into even this item and I'm more than happy to pay the price for quality , I have also just discovered the gf option raspberry cheesecake ( even though gluten does nothing to me ) ... and omfg it's amazing !!! .. well done young counter girl and owner.. you have amazing staff and shop
