It’s great that options for gluten free are being made but as someone who is Celiac and has had their fair share of Gluten Free items, you can find better tasting desserts in middle of no where places like Scranton, PA. I want to be as constructive as possible in this review because it really is great that there are dedicated GF bakeries for those that are intolerant or Celiac, but that’s the only reason why it’s two stars and not one. PRICING I ordered a red velvet and vanilla cupcake and before I could even enjoy my cupcake I was very alarmed when I saw each cupcake rang up as 4 dollars. Again, these are normal sized cupcakes and if anything they are a bit on the smaller size. I understand that this is a niche small business trying to stay afloat but you have to consider that eating gluten free does not mean I have money to waste. Because I have Celiacs, I have no other option but to eat GF but today I decided it would be nice to splurge a little on a cupcake. However, if you are the average person in Miami, you will not be able to justify the cost of a singular cupcake. I’m also going to add on to here that the machine asked automatically for 18%,20%, or 25% tip… for takeout. TASTE Vanilla tasted strongly artificial and not pleasant. Red velvet was bitter and mild in every other flavor and was not well balanced with the cream cheese. Texture was gritty on both, more so on the vanilla. Aftertaste is not pleasant and is a somewhat tarty/sour, acidic, and bitter taste. CONCLUSION Saying you’re gluten free is not an excuse to make a bad menu item. The recipes are not refined and feel like a first attempt at making a gluten free dessert. Especially at the price range, I do not recommend the average person come here as the food will be subpar for what you pay for. Overall, I am disappointed after having read so many excellent reviews. I will continue to search for better GF options in Miami but I will not come here again. Thanks for spending the time to read this.

Epik staff take allergies quite seriously. While they don’t have a dedicated space. They changed gloves and tried led up the paper on the work surface. They also changed out cooking equipment. There was an error on the milkshake and it was handled in such a respectful way. But the best part was the BUN on the burger. I got a juicy burger and the bun didn’t fall apart. Better news is they are opening a second location in the Nocatee area?

Great First Experience, Especially for Gluten-Free/Dairy-Free Diners Tried Burton’s for the first time and had a fantastic experience. We’ve recently started a gluten-free and dairy-free diet, which usually makes dining out tricky — but Burton’s made it feel easy. What really stood out was how their entire menu is mirrored with a dedicated gluten-free version. You’re not stuck with a handful of second-tier options — instead, you can order the same dishes as everyone else, just with gluten-free substitutions. That’s rare and genuinely appreciated. Our server was excellent — informed, attentive, and accommodating. As soon as we mentioned the dietary restrictions, he immediately pointed us to the gluten-free menu and said, “I got you on the dairy-free.” He walked us through our options and made sure everything we ordered was safe and satisfying. And the food? Outstanding. We had roasted vegetables with steak and salmon (one of each), and both dishes were flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared — not always the case with gluten-free meals. Everyone in our group (party of nine!) seemed happy with their dishes as well. The only note is that it’s on the pricier side. With an appetizer, one glass of wine, a tea/lemonade, and two entrees, the bill came to about $109 including tip. But for the quality, service, and allergy awareness, it’s worth it — definitely a great spot for a date night or a special occasion.

If you want amazing fried fish, check this place out. I haven’t had fried fish since I was diagnosed with Celiac (about 6 years ago). It was amazing. A nice crispy light batter made with brown rice flour. It was great!

Food was very good but the music and service was more of an issue. It is already very busy and very loud, and adding a live band was not a good idea. We had to shout to hear each other, the toddler I was with wouldn’t eat her food until the breaks in between songs due to her covering her ears cause the music was so loud. Server dropped one of our meals and it took another 15 minutes before it came back out. We had a gluten free meal that came out around 15 minutes after everyone else’s food. Wrong sides with some meals as well. But being next to the water and slightly outside has a nice vibe and atmosphere.

AMAZING EMPANADAS! I’m severely celiac and I left Empanada Brothers feeling safe and satisfied!! Their menu changes all the time so check them out on social media for the most updated menu! Everything is gluten free (except for ONE sauce). Staff is super friendly staff!

Everything we ordered was amazing, the food there always leaves us feeling full but energetic. It’s great being able to have a nice meal without feeling tired or bloated after. Ron provides amazing service and gives the best recommendations. We started with the mussels, they were delicious and the sauce was so good we had to order more of their gluten free bread to soak it up. Their bread tastes delicious and literally melts in your mouth. The spicy watermelon margarita was one of the best alcoholic beverages I’ve ever had, I had planned on doing the wine pairing but the margarita was so good I ended up ordering another instead. Then I tried the French onion soup, it was so fresh and delicious with a great heap of goat cheddar on top. For my main course I had lasagna at Ron’s recommendation. It was phenomenal, it was hard to believe it was gluten free. I did steal a few bites of my fiancée’s carbonara with filet added and it was also delicious. We ended the night with the orange cake, it was the perfect end to the night, so much flavor!

Had such a great experience here! I am gluten free and ordered a pizza for pick up - the team was so nice and honest and let us know it would be longer than expected because my pizza was in contact with gluten so they were completely remaking it. I love the honesty and safety they provided and the pizza was great as always. I highly recommend for any allergy needs to come here, they’ll keep you safe!

Ripe is our favorite restaurant! The food is always prepared fresh and you can tell they put all the care into sourcing fresh ingredients and preparing everything from scratch--a true "slow food" philosophy and experience (look it up, it's a whole movement countering fast food and hyper processed junk). You feel like you are eating real food, prepared lovingly and with the utmost care. And that is to say nothing of the service! Everyone at ripe is kind, attentive, and always seeking to make every patron's experience the best! Emilio, chef and owner, is always present, tending to every detail of the operation, and interacting with guests! That is to say nothing of their accommodations for allergies! Did I mention Ripe is 100% gluten free?? For customers with a gluten intolerance, you can eat and rest assured that everything you consume will be fresh, healthy, and wholesome. If I could give Ripe ten stars, I would! Highly recommend!

Riccup has been slowly going downhill over this last year. New management/ lady at the counter is not friendly nor helpful unlike the previous gentleman/owner. The KFC has too much breading and the amount of rice to everything else is in the bowl is simply ridiculous. Used to frequent this restaurant because of my gluten, dairy and numerous other issues but, after a rude encounter with the lady behind the counter we will not be back.

I'm not a big chain restaurant fan, however, True Food kitchen is an exception. It really is whole food. I appreciate that there are several vegan and gluten-free options. The butternut squash soup and the hot tulsi ginger and tea are somethings I always look forward to.

Place was kind of dirty; staff was rude, food was meh. The woman behind the counter was just awful, she seemed to have an attitude when I asked about the allergen information. I can't have gluten so when I asked her about the gluten free options she scoffed, rolled her eyes, and proceeded to have an attitude as she explained it to me. Her name started with a J I can't remember the full name because as soon as she plopped the noodles in my bowl she went off to the backroom somewhere like she couldn't even be bothered to do her job.

I had not heard of nor tried Bolay Kitchen before this event, so this was my first time here. I live in Pinellas so it was a little bit of drive to get to them but I can honestly say the drive was worth it! I came in during what I would have assumed to be dinner rush time but aside from myself there was only 1 other customer in the restaurant which struck me as odd. I was indecisive as to what to actually order for my first time here but after talking to one of the staff members, I decided to go with his recommendation & ordered the the steak street salad bowl, & I am so glad I did! The steak was cooked perfectly, the chimichurri tomatoes were amazing, & the creamy garlic & herb dressing brought the whole bowl together! I got a chocolate chip cookie which was still soft & sweet, so I knew it was just made today. I also got the berry patch tea to go with it, the tea was nice & refreshing, I got a refill of the tea but switched it up & got the mandarin cardamon tea. That tea was a bit more robust but still delicious & satisfying. The restaurant layout & atmosphere is really nice, I liked learning they are gluten free. I honestly don't know why there weren't more people here, but I will definitely be making the trek back over here again soon!

The great menu here that offers and highlights each vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-friendly options is great. I loved the tomaro soup and sweet potato chips. The back ground music is very loud both inside at accessible tables and out door accessible tables. Indoors they also offer a full bar with high top car seats and 2 TVs. Accessible entry and exit with several single and double doors, which made finding the his read a bit of a challenge. We ate here two times in a week and had a great time with each visit. The food is good, plentiful, and there are many gluten-free options. The atmosphere is what you expect for a Jimmy Buffet-started restaurant, with continuous videos of his concerts and an erupting Volcano. My kids loved it.

Amazing vegan restaurant. Almost all the menu is gluten-free. Spicy foods are identified, which is nice. The menu is large and varied. Everything was good. The pad thai and mac and cheese were great. The sides as well. Smoothie was refreshing. The dessert menu is extensive and all gluten-free. As a vegan and gluten-free individual, it's rare to find cinnamon rolls, and it was super tasty. The waitress was polite and friendly! I wish this restaurant existed in my home town.

So this place delivered in the food category. So much to like here with the food selection. They obviously are trying other things to get attention but they have the primary focus covered. Gluten free menu also. Tap water wasn't the best tasting or that cold. But for German food this is one of the best in Florida.

An Unforgettable GF & VG Dining Experience at Lila – Sarasota, FL Visiting from Ridgefield, CT, my wife Julie and I had the pleasure of dining at Lila during our trip to Sarasota for US Rowing Youth Nationals — and we were absolutely blown away. Julie follows a gluten-free and dairy-free diet, and this was hands down the best GF and DF dinner she has ever had. The flavors, presentation, and care put into each dish were exceptional. I ordered a regular entrée (the Green Circle Airline Chicken breast) and was equally impressed — it’s clear that Lila is dedicated to delivering a high-quality experience for all diners, no matter their dietary preferences. To top it all off, we shared the GF and DF Key Lime pie for dessert, and it was exquisite! — creamy, tangy, and the perfect finish to a memorable meal. Thank you, Lila, for making us feel so welcome and for proving that gluten-free and dairy-free food can be both indulgent and refined. We’ll be dreaming about this meal for a long time, and look forward to coming back!

The Kings Sandwich was most definitely my favorite! It’s a for sure crowd pleaser and a taste of everything! Fries come out hot, fresh, seasoned well, and crispy! Both the regular and the waffle cut sweet potato fries. Sauces were on the table to try at your discretion and the sides are mostly included in everything. The lean brisket was good and next time I’d like to get it more fatty. All the meats and all the sauces (minus one) were gluten free. Come in between 3-6pm for happy hour 10 for 10 wings. I had to get some to go and I was told that they DON’T disappoint! Try it and be satisfied! You can trust me b/c I DON’T play about my food!!!!

This place offers delicious and healthy gluten-free and vegan options. The food was very flavorful, and the space is very clean and inviting. I gave it four stars because when I sat down outside to eat, the tofu, noodles, and black rice were already cold. Hopefully, management can look into this, as no one really enjoys eating cold food—unless it’s meant to be, like a salad. Update: I wish I could go back to this place, but unfortunately, I was sick for the rest of the day after eating here. I’m very sensitive to gluten and dairy, and I’m not sure what was in my meal that caused such a bad reaction. Sadly, I was unwell the entire day.
