The variety is very little, the quality can be greatly improved. The place is big and very new. Quite slow attention. There are other gluten-free places nearby so I wouldn't repeat.

Very friendly service, the burger nothing special. It is appreciated that the entire menu is gluten-free. However, the prices on the website were outdated. I will try the desserts again, they look super good.

I love Honest Greens and have been to three of their locations over the years, one in Barcelona and two in Madrid. In terms of a lunchtime atmosphere, this one is my favourite! The decor is light and earthy compared to the moodier lighting at Gran Via (which is of course much busier at peak times). The server was very friendly and patient when I didn’t recognise them saying my own name 😂😂 We pronounce it differently in England I swear! Food is always of a very high standard and service is very fast. If you haven’t been before, I recommend getting the app so you can preorder your food and you don’t have to wait as long. You can also select your allergens in the app which helps refine your search and makes it super easy and safe. I’d also recommend their refillable water over their juices, as I can’t recommend the juices due to the portion size and the cost. The flavoured water however is free to refill and costs half the price. And finally, definitely get a slice of banana bread on the way out! The best gluten free/plant based bread I’ve ever had.

It is a very nice place to go for tapas and/or dinner. There are some gluten-free tapas and also without garlic or onion. I 100% recommend the croquettes, they were delicious!!! And also the Lima cause. The staff is very friendly and willing to serve large groups.

Delighted with this discovery. The breads and pastries are very good, for celiacs and non-celiacs. The raisin and walnut loaves of 10 and the cheese muffins are something to repeat a thousand times. The lady at the counter is very nice, always speaking extremely well about the products and recommending that I try more variety. With employees like this and the quality of the product you will do really well

My husband and I are from Australia and found Viva Chapata in Lavapies at the end of our stay in Madrid. The staff were fantastic, the atmosphere was relaxed, they had gluten free alternatives clearly marked on their menu, and the coffee was the best we had in Europe. We had planned to return early the next morning but needed to catch our flight, so hope the staff see this review - we’re sorry we didn’t make it back! We recommend highly to anyone. Healthy food place that seems to be in fashion judging by the lines you have to wait to get a table, at least at brunch time. They have a good variety of dishes, some of them suitable for celiacs, and the food is very delicious. The price is somewhat high but the portions are substantial, I recommend waiting to finish the dishes before ordering dessert (the waitress asked us when ordering the main dishes). Very good service from the waitress who served us. One detail that I didn't like, putting the suggested tip on the ticket, even if it is something voluntary, is something that puts you in a commitment and makes you feel uncomfortable.

We ordered some patatas bravas that were incredible, and three hamburgers that were also delicious. The burgers come with a side dish of your choice between sweet potatoes, fries or salad. The burger meat is made to the point you order. For dessert we ordered a gluten-free cheesecake that comes with a pistachio cream. The best cheesecake I've ever had (and it's gluten-free). Very good service, very calm waiter, we liked it a lot. The atmosphere is very calm with house in the background. Totally recommended.

Brilliant! Out of 10... The best tavern in Madrid. We entered a little by chance and we loved it. From the friendliness of the waitresses, who couldn't be nicer, to the variety of tapas and portions. Almost all options have a portion, half portion and tapa. In addition, they have many options suitable for celiacs and also for vegetarians. Everything is delicious! This small café is an absolute gem with a great ambiance and excellent service. The coffee here is phenomenal—I’ve tried both the cappuccino and batch brew, and each was incredibly smooth and full of flavor. They also offer a decent selection of food and pastries that look absolutely delicious. I couldn’t resist trying their gluten-free pistachio cheesecake, and it did not disappoint—fantastic flavor and texture! If you’re looking for a a place with a great vibe and with top-notch coffee and treats, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Whole sandwiches on display in the cabinet, but marked prices were actually for half sandwiches (did not know this until we received the half sandwich). Deal advertised with a combination of sandwich and coffee but not applied at checkout when coffee and sandwich were ordered. This could be our mistake - if you want this deal, ensure you specify clearly as it won't be applied if you don't ask. Service was polite. We observed a non Spanish speaker attempting to speak Spanish to the waiter and the staff helped this speaker patiently and respectfully to assist them in their practise, even though they were busy. Has vegan and gluten free options, which is great. We ordered both a vegan option and a meat option and they came wrapped together as one sandwich. This was fine for us, but if it is not fine for you make sure to specify at checkout.
