Saw this on Instagram. We were in a hurry and didnβt review the menu before we went. Not authentic Thai food. Ordered the Pad Ka Prow and had 95% green beans and maybe 2 tablespoons of ground meat. I get the overall healthy, gluten free nature but if you want real Thai then this is not it. I should have been clued in by the location.

Food was delicious !
Service was excellent and our server was knowledgeable about gluten free options.
Sadly the only option for dessert was the Frozen Yoghurt was gluten free. I didnβt end up getting it because i was too cold to eat something cold since we sat in the patio area.
With a vibrant atmosphere reminiscent of a Mexican cantina, this spot offers fresh flavors, cozy seating, and a lively vibe that keeps guests returning.

One of the best breakfests I've ever had!
Got the lemon poppyseed French toast special and it was delicious. Absolutely perfect and decadent. Made with a lemon poppy seed poundcake or bread and a delicious glaze. Got it as the "Lemon Poppy Paris Texas Platter" which also came with migas, which they recommended with queso as the sauce, also super rich and decadent so I maybe would've got it with a different sauce but super delicious nonethless. They have a really wide menu with a lot of variety from savory to sweet and some vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options on the menu.
Got an iced orange mocha with oat milk, super great drink.
The staff were all very kind and helpful and made the experience really pleasant. Great value for the quality and amount of food you get. A really enjoyable and tasty meal!

Great Gluten Free (GF) options labeled on menu, although I wish places just had a separate GF menu. Pork chop & Peahces was phenomenal, along with the soup, Cesar salad, and meatloaf!
Usually no wait so reservations not always necessary.
Feels healthy.

Jack Allen's is legit one of the best places in Austin. We've been a fan for years, and they've even catered our wedding back in 2011 when they used to do that.
Jack's menu has stood the test of time. Their specials are fantastic, and when they found out the margaritas has gluten in them (my wife is allergic) they even changed their recipe for it.
Hands down great value. You can seat 2 adults, two kids, appetizers, drinks, and dessert for far more reasonable prices than "trendy" places who either charge more or dont have nearly as good food.
If you don't like Jack's, your standards are wrong and I suggest you just move back to LA where at least you can feel important about it.
This spot is a top pick for vegans with a chill vibe, unique dishes, and scrumptious desserts that'll keep you coming back for more.

The best mochi donuts in Austin! Teresa and Anthony, a husband-wife power duo, run this little pop-up business all on their own. They use a traditional Korean recipe and use 100% rice flour in their donuts, making it completely gluten-free. The flavors change often and are creative, fun and ALWAYS delicious!

Overall, the atmosphere is fairly nice with very kind and friendly wait staff. True Food Kitchen has a well rounded menu with accommodates for vegetarian, gluten free, and vegan with clearly labled dishes for such. Additionally, the flavor profile is fairly diverse so if you are vegan like me, you will not be restricted to a single option and have a few choices to make.

I love this place for our family for brunch because they have delicious healthy options for me and classic diner options for my kids. It's a win-win. There's an entire gluten free menu, lots of vegetarian options, and delicious buddha bowls. They also have beer on tap and an espresso machine. I like the atmosphere - it's like a diner but feels more Austin. They're also great for take out and kids.

They have more than one option for gluten free. All the items I got were gluten free. I got a chocolate frosted donut, chocolate chip muffin, chocolate chip cookies (package of 2) and a white chocolate mocha frappe (with coffee). My total was $20.04
Everything in the case is clearly labeled. The lady at the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Donut was cakey, but not too thick. It had chocolate icing.
Muffin was so soft. Tasted buttery and not too sweet for being chocolate chip. I ate it the fastest out of the items.
Cookies look like they were hard, but they were soft once you bit into them.
Frappe was a good accompaniment to my breakfast.
With incredible flavor and a lively atmosphere, this cute spot offers a creative menu and a lovely patio for diners to enjoy.

Food was phenomenal. In our group we also had a person from Mexico and one from Colombia and they also raved about the food. We had the tacos, flautas, quesadilla and caesar and all were amazing (and gluten free!) We wound up accidentally leaving something at our table and the staff were so quick to message me via OpenTable, where we made the reservation, to let me know. Highly recommend!

Love Kerbey Lane, but this one at around 8 pm was not good. I had gluten free pancakes which were very dry like they had been sitting around for a while and warmed up. My friend ordered a salad and the brought out the wrong one. Very disappointing.

I was really excited to try the Original Pancake House after reading positive reviews, especially about their gluten-free waffles. As someone with a severe gluten intolerance, I was eager to finally enjoy a decent GF waffle. When we arrived, I made sure to clearly specify my need for the gluten-free option when ordering.
At first, everything seemed great. The waffles were delicious, and both my husband and I were impressed by how good they tasted, especially for a gluten-free version. However, a few bites in, I started feeling uncomfortable. At first, I thought maybe it was just me, but it quickly escalated. I had to rush to the restroom and realized something was very wrong. It turns out, after my husband checked with the waitress, we had actually been served regular, full wheat wafflesβnot the gluten-free ones Iβd ordered.
This is a huge issue, especially for anyone with serious gluten intolerance or allergies. Itβs not just a minor mistakeβthis could have been dangerous. I am extremely disappointed, and this is something that should never happen, especially when dietary restrictions are clearly communicated. Itβs hard to trust a place that canβt get something so basic right. I wonβt be returning, and Iβd advise others with gluten sensitivities to be cautious.

I celebrated my birthday here, and hands down, this was the best dining experience Iβve had in Austin in the last three years. The ambiance, customer service, and music were all top-tier. I ordered the chefβs specialβa five-course meal that turned into six, thanks to our incredible server, Kendra. She was thoughtful, kind, and knew the menu inside and out. Every recommendation she made was spot on. Plus, my lady is gluten- and dairy-free, and anytime a restaurant can accommodate her needs without skipping a beat, itβs a huge win. 5-star everythingβcanβt wait to come back!

Aiden was an energetic host and server that kept the coffee mugs full. The food was outstanding. The bake potatoe omlette was an unexpected yum (the green onions really made the flavor pop). My sister had plenty of gluten free options, her pancakes actually had flavor. Don't care for the diner look but I am old school. I miss the cozy home feel of the original location.

A long time Austin standard, Maudie's offers satisfying texmex with gluten friendly options. Going to the trouble of making the GF chips in safe fryers, they come in sealed plastic bags and are available upon request. Their breakfast tacos are loaded and delicious, but the enchilada plates are my favorite.

Friendly old school (1978) diner with American comfort food classics. Dont expect anything to be healthy :) They donβt have fresh squeezed orange juice, or real maple syrup (though they do offer some whole wheat, vegetarian, & gluten free options. They also have organic apple juice.) They keep cost down, service is efficient and friendly, and all food was perfectly prepared. Very kid friendly.

Bird Bird Biscuit fills a hole in my heart with their gluten-free Biscuitarian. The first one I had actually made me cry happy tears. It had been years since I'd had a proper southern biscuit and it is *perfect*. Perfect texture, perfect melt-in-your mouth buttery magic. The egg is perfect, the veggie sausage perfect. If you are unhappily gluten-free like me, give yourself this joy. Remember to order at least an hour ahead!

This is a really good bakery. I ordered a variety of items and have tried several (my favorite is the cowboy cookie). They took the time to check whether an item had corn syrup in it (I have a friend who is allergic to it, but I wanted to get something for her, too). The item (the passionfruit-cocunut dessert) is both gluten-free and corn-free. That's hard to find. On top of all that, the staff was friendly and efficient. I'll definitely be back. :)
Update: I have now tried several things. They were all excellent. This really is a good shop. :)
