This is a great spot for food allergies. My wife had a fried chicken sandwich which was gluten free and she was in heaven. I had their signature black bean burger and the jalapeno jam was very tasty.
Enjoy a vibrant mix of Mediterranean flavors with standout dishes, accommodating large groups and diverse dietary needs seamlessly.

So I have autoimmune disease called Celiac Disease and that means gluten and me do not get along at all. This place has great gluten free reviews and was super excited coming here. Well now I am about ready to lose my mind. I asked my usual questions concerning gluten free items and preparations for their food/drinks. I ordered a CIDER and got served a BEER without hesitation. This is actually absurd. When somebody asks you about gluten free items and safety precautions and then immediately within 2 minutes get served a gluten containing item, it’s just actually ridiculous. The server was apologetic and kind but not knowing the difference between beer and cider is disheartening.
This spot serves up creatively healthy dishes in a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for those looking for tasty options without the heaviness.

Was in town for work and wanted something marginally healthy with gluten free options for my friend. I got a salad, they let me sub shrimp for chicken for a small fee and the salad was delightful. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. The staff was nice. Lots of tables inside and out.
A top-notch spot with fantastic options, perfect for special occasions and great for accommodating diverse dining needs—definitely a must-visit!

This is by far one of the BEST Italian restaurants I have ever been to! My friends and I were visiting Asheville from Charlotte and stopped in for takeout after coming across Strada on my Find Me Gluten Free app. I have never been to an Italian restaurant that was as accommodating for dietary restrictions as Strada. Just walking in, I knew this place would be great. The staff who greeted us were extremely friendly and professional. They made us feel welcome and cared for. They went out of their way to make sure our orders were correct. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and was so excited to find out that not only do they offer gluten free pasta, but they offer rice-based gluten free pasta! A lot of places only offer corn-based gluten free pasta and that doesn't taste as good as rice and it's harsher on my stomach. This pasta tasted amazing! The gluten free pasta didn't even cost much extra which was AMAZING because I went to another restaurant in Asheville that charged me an additional $5 just for a side of carrots as I couldn't eat any of their other sides. Strada also has a lovely set up with a gorgeous bar and lounge area. The next time I am in Asheville, I definitely want to eat here!
Enjoy a charming atmosphere with a variety of generous crepes and drinks, plus a lovely outdoor seating area perfect for families.

Food was good. We got their beignets and some breakfast stacker crepes. My Celiac wife forgot to tell them that she was gluten free so they had to remake the dish for her. They were very nice about it. Only reason for lack of star was server wasn’t very attentive and forgot silverware
A stunning spot with an amazing vibe and a menu brimming with diverse options that keeps everyone coming back for more.

Every single time we come to Asheville, I eat the Chicken and waffles at Early Girl. It's phenomenal. (and Celiac safe!) They have tons of other options, too. Laid back casual diner with delicious, unique brunch fare. Worth the wait, if you catch it during the busy season!

Y'all are really blessed to have such great food. I had a biscuit with fried chicken gravy, and it was simply incredible. The best biscuit and gravy I've had in... some years lol. I was also able to pick up a gluten-free/vegan biscuit for my friend, which is just lovely. If I'm ever back in town, I'll be stopping by again :)
Experience a unique vibe with flavorful dishes and attentive service, though be prepared for tight parking and lively atmosphere.

Service and food were great! My only disappointment is that HQ is changing their menu and taking several items off including one of my favorite gluten free foods…street noodles.

I want to start by saying, we really liked the restaurant and food was great! Their gluten free bread was really good also.
The reason for the 3 star review though is solely based on our experience with the waitress. When we ordered I ordered their Turkey club, hella good btw, and asked for gluten free bread. I then asked for the french fries. Her body language and attitude immediately changed very aggressively and replied, “I can’t give you that” I asked why, and she said “because they’re fried in the same oil as other things”. I then tried to explain that I have more of a gluten intolerance and would be fine. I live with it and know my body. “She then got even more rude and defensive and said “ Well I will not be responsible if you get sick then” I have never been treated like that over gluten before.
I greatly appreciate the concern she was trying to convey however the level of rude and tone of talking to me like a child was extremely off putting and honestly will never go back there because of her. We genuinely really loved the atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant until her. Maybe she was having a bad day but to be nice and friendly and then a complete 180 difference was extremely disappointing.
This casual spot is great for a tasty meal with fresh, local ingredients and a fun atmosphere perfect for work or friends.

I love this place. I've been here a few times and I like it more the more I visit.
The food options are numerous for me (Gluten allergy) and I'm all about organic foods. They are also very conscious of allergies and accommodate accordingly.
The staff is friendly and playful, too! They clearly care about the principles of this place.
And atmosphere is nothing special, but gets the job done. 5 stars for sustainability though, with their steel cutlery and plates.
Come check it out! Totally worth it.

Amazing savory and sweet crepes, and best of all for me, all are available in gluten free. We discovered this restaurant when we visited UNCW with our son, and now that he is a student there, we make sure to visit Our Crepes & More whenever we’re in town. My favorites are the Monte-Cristo savory and the Mont-Blanc sweet, but really, we’ve enjoyed everything we’ve tried.
With top-notch service and vibrant flavors, this spot is a go-to for delicious bites and a lively atmosphere.

Amazing menus that you would not know was over 90% gluten free. This is how it should be done. Most people just go here because the food is great, and those of us who can’t eat at most restaurants can just be like a normal customer here.

I’m a vegetarian, and the main menu has almost no meat-free dishes—but Winston’s actually is vegetarian friendly as long as you say something to the waiter. They have a complete alternative menu available: the front lists vegetarian and vegan dishes, and the back has gluten-free dishes. I can’t speak to the gluten-free options, but the vegan and vegetarian choices are excellent!

Our waitress was Kate and she was fantastic! She recommended the fried chicken which we got in two different dishes and it was delicious (and gluten free). The Biscuit French was absolutely amazing - sweet, soft, and topped with homemade whipped cream. Best meal we had in Asheville (actually by a long shot).

Yanni Bistro is truly a hidden gem in Matthews, NC.
I’ve been here a few times before and always loved their food—especially the salads, which are consistently fresh and flavorful. And let’s not forget the gingersnaps. It seems like every time I visit, they’re generously offering complimentary gingersnaps.
Today, I stopped in on a whim during my day off and ordered a lavender latte with almond milk and a gluten-free BLT. I decided to sit outside, soaking in the minimalist decor and letting the sound of birdsong become the soundtrack to my morning.
Then something unexpected and lovely happened—the owner brought my BLT out to me personally and struck up a conversation. What started as a quick meal turned into a 30-minute, soul-filling talk about food, wellness, and the importance of clean ingredients. I learned that everything on the menu is sourced locally from the farmers market next door, and I could genuinely feel his passion and care behind every bite.
Yanni Bistro gets 10 out of 5 stars for their incredible customer service, peaceful atmosphere, and commitment to healthy, locally-sourced ingredients. They also offer fantastic gluten-free and vegan options, which is a huge plus.
If you’re in the area—go. Take yourself on a breakfast date. You might just leave with more than a full belly.
Discover a charming spot with a cozy outdoor space, offering a creative twist on classics and plenty of delicious options for all tastes.

Really nice outdoor seating space, and the crab cake sandwich I had was fantastic. What I appreciated most is when I had questions about ingredients in some of the dishes, the cook came out and talked to me and made sure I ordered something completely gluten free. We'll be back there again next year!

The Crown Restaurant Brasstown is a true gem. The restaurant was recommended to us by an acquaintance and it did not disappoint. It is a quaint restaurant with amazing views, food and service. My husband and I have found our new favorite restaurant. I’m Celiac and can’t have gluten, dairy or egg. The whole restaurant is gluten free and have many vegan options as well. It is really hard for me to find “safe” places to eat. The food was AMAZING!!! Megan was our server and by the end of the evening we felt as if we had a new friend. She was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Megan even wrote down the name of a cookbook for me to try with gluten free and vegan options. Try out The Crown Restaurant! Trust me, it will be your new favorite place too! Also, make sure to ask for Megan and you will have great service and you’ll make a new friend!

This was my first visit to Bad Daddy's. I have Celiac disease, so gluten free options are extremely important to me, and it's a real treat for me to have a proper burger-in-a-bun rather than a lettuce wrap, even if it is a GF bun (they tend to fall apart without gluten to hold them together; no fault of the restaurant). My burger was delicious; I'll definitely come back when I need a burger fix. However, my review is mixed because I found the ambience lacking - the music was loud and of what I considered to be an obnoxious selection (personal taste, I know, but hey, it's my review). Also my menu was dirty, which was a real turn-off. A few customer-focused tweaks and it could be a five-star experience for me, but currently it's not.
