I’ve been enjoying their brunch for years but I recently went for dinner with a girl friend of mine and to no shock their dinner menu is just as perfect as their brunch!

Lots of healthy options. I tried their sausage biscuit and Cyprus side salad. The biscuit was good but the salad was stellar! So fresh and delicious. The dressing so light and flavorful. They had lots of gluten free and vegan options. Enjoyed the inside, very warm and inviting.

Came here on Valentine’s Day. My server Lexi made sure my meals would be shellfish and gluten free. Also love how many gluten free options there are too. I had the devils pass dip which was so flavorful and had the cheeseburger which was good too. Also tried the chocolate decadence which is gluten free too, very rich chocolate flavor

10/10, this is one of my favorite restaurants to go to, I have Celiac so finding gluten free options are hard but they even have a gluten free menu with plenty of delicious options! I've had 2 different burgers and pizza as well as their lava cake and all were absolutely divine.

I was referred here because they have clean food and I wasn’t disappointed! I wish they would get grass fed grass finished option for the meat but the organic wild caught salmon and free range clean chicken were great! They have gluten free beer! Service was amazing!

After several poor attempts at gluten free eats, we finally made it to Whiskey Kitchen. First of all a Celiac heaven. I had crab cakes, which were amazing, fries (they have a dedicated fryer) and slaw. My fiance is from the DMV and had the crab cakes as well. He said they were true crab cakes and the best he’s had in a long time. We didn’t get dessert because our meals were huge. If you have Celiac or gluten intolerance, this is the best place in Virginia Beach.

Wow. I have NCGS and cannot handle gluten cross contamination. I have spent all year trying to find a pizza that won’t make me sick and doesn’t taste bad…and this is it. The gentleman on the phone checked the ingredient lists without my asking to make sure I was safe to order everything (I can’t tolerate olive oil either, sadly) and the pizza tasted “real” and I’m not sick. Absolutely incredible. My only unfortunate part is that we live two hours away!! I’ll absolutely be back (hopefully) for my birthday next month to get another amazing pizza. Thank you for caring!

We love Capitol Ale House! Kylie was fabulous. The club is my absolute favorite but I've tried many menu items with no complaints. I had to take off a star because of my recent visit. I have a gluten allergy friend who loves Capitol Ale because of the gluten free options. She ALWAYS looks forward to the fries. They had a dedicated air fryer. This was a huge bonus for anyone with a gluten allergy. This has changed sometime recently and unfortunately is longer an option. Bring back the gluten free fry option.

Well, here is my honest review. When we walked in, there were three employees behind the stand. One was busy on the phone and the other two were just standing around and giggling. We stood there for about a minute and no one acknowledged us. I literally turned around and opened the door and said “I guess they are closed.” (Nigel - you can actually check the camera because it’s a great feedback/teaching moment to your staff.) The two girls still said nothing to us. We stayed because of your Gluten Free options. We got sat and we waited. Then, we waited some more. Then, we flagged down a passing server and inquired where ours was. She told us that she would check. A few moments later, someone appeared at the table. Our server Talina was a bag full of sunshine… NOT. She was mediocre at best. While waiting for our food, we were subjected to the inappropriate music being blasted from the kitchen. (We sat in the booth right in front of the kitchen expo.) Speaking of food, I asked for the pasta with chicken; no mushrooms but substitute broccoli. I was charged $3 for a few measly pieces of it but hey, its 2024. The food overall was very, very good. However, due to the lack of hospitality and pleasant atmosphere, it was a fail in my book. *Bonus tidbit, I called from my seat asking if Nigel was in tonight. They answered “no” to which I replied, it’s clearly evident.

The wine area downstairs is fine, but charging me $11 for like a thimble size of turkey, one small piece of cheese, and one freaking mustard packet is mind blowing. I have celiacs so can’t have the bread, and they gave me enough to feed a mouse at full price. Ridiculous.

I can't speak highly enough of Brood Restaurant and Bar. Every visit has been an exceptional experience. Brood is 100% gluten free, but surprisingly does not lack in flavor. The seafood, poultry, and salads always leave my stomach feeling pure bliss. I'm also a fan of the focused cocktail list, but am very happy that the bar can crank out just about anything requested. Table service is prompt, friendly, and accurate. Brood is and will forever be me and my dad's birthday splurge!

My first time here! Having celiac disease makes it very difficult to eat out. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about everything. Our food was top notch and even pointed out the spiced mustard was not gluten free. I never eat a full dish and I cleared my plate. I believe our server was Alainna! First time dining here. Great dog friendly porch. Had a fabulous lunch/brunch. They have multiple gluten free options on the menu. Service was great and staff went out of their way to make sure our dog had it's own water bowl and shady spot to get out of the sun. The food was terrific. I had a breakfast bowl with pork bbq. Huge portion that I couldn't finish. Can't wait to come back for Supper!

We had an absolutely fantastic meal here on Valentine's Day. Even on a busy night, we were seated promptly for our reservation, but not rushed through our meal. The drinks menu is delightful, and the zero-proof options are thoughtful and complex. We had delicious appetizers (GF Corn Muffins, yum!) but could have skipped the chicken wings. Entrees were delicious and both of us commented on how nice it was that the dishes came with several accompany vegetables - it made it feel like a complete meal without having to order a ton of sides. Finally, the desserts were delicious - the chocolate mud pie is definitely shareable, and we also enjoyed the banana pudding. One of us ordered gluten free items and they were all delicious, definitely recommend for dietary restrictions!

I really debated about posting this, because I’ve been a frequent customer. Unfortunately this is a big safety concern for anyone who has allergies or sensitivities. On Thursday 11/26/23 around 1:00pm. I sat at the bar and ordered the truffle burger on a gluten free bun. When I received it and took a bite I quickly realized the bun wasn’t gluten free. I politely asked my server if it was gluten free and she responded no and grabbed the plate. She didn’t seem concerned or to care at all. But I was ok with that. Then the back of the house manager(assuming) brought out the same burger I took a bite of with a gluten free bun. I ate the burger because I didn’t want to start anything and I thought it would be ok. I ended up having digestive issues. There was no sorry and no one even came to check to make sure I was ok. We paid the bill and still left a 18% tip. I understand times are tough right now and finding passionate employees can be hard at the moment. Unfortunately I believe this is unacceptable. So if you have any food allergies or sensitivities I would stay clear of this place. Unfortunately they really don’t do a great job of honoring those food restrictions.

Great experience! I went for lunch and had the fish tacos, which were delicious. Unlike other restaurants, they had a good-sized filet of cod instead of just a few small pieces. My daughter had the steak salad and loved it. The staff was knowledgeable about gluten issues, which was a plus. Overall, a very good meal.

In its "glory days" it was ranked in 2017 & 2020 as the "Best Food Allergy Champion" for their extensive allergy menus and their preparation for making food safely. These are proudly listed on their website too. In fact it used to be a safe go-to place for me as GD had many Gluten Free options. I could even get loaded fries that were safe! Due to the change in ownership the company as a whole has gotten rid of the dedicated fryers and significantly reduced the GF menu. Big bummer and crumby of the company to disregard so many of their customers. I've had several worsening experiences but this takes the cake. The grilled wings continuously come out charred and inedible. Spending $53 and 19 out of my 24 wings ordered were charred to a crisp...

I was genuinely surprised by how good this place was. We were in town visiting family and weren't familiar with the spot. I have a gluten allergy, and the server was knowledgeable, and the gluten friendly options were really good. I actually told my husband that the only suggestion I would make to people would be to sit at the tables rather than in the booths. The booths moved every time the person on the other side moved, and the backs weren't thick enough between sides. We both found that frustrating. If that's the only thing to complain about, though, then I'd say it's about as perfect a place as you'll get! Top notch!

Come here and get the tacos. Albeit expensive this place is delicious and consistent. Expect to spend $25/per person. Take-out sides are very very tiny, that is my only complaint. My kids love the poblano Mac n cheese. Gluten-free friendly, great bar staff and a good beer menu make this the best bbq shop in Williamsburg. Don't eat at busch gardens, go here.

Excellent choice - I had the Makers Steak and Fries, enjoyed every bite. Also polished off two of the guava margarita's... They do have a good selection of gluten-free options, one of our guests has celiac disease. Dog friendly if you sit outside!

Hands down the best Lebanese / Mediterranean restaurant in Loudoun!!! I don't understand how you could rate this spot lower than 5 stars! Exceptional service, exceptional food, atmosphere is great, not crowded at all. There is plenty of space to enjoy privacy if you want. I love this spot. I will be back with friends and family! I'm excited to try new foods here. You must get the LAMB, Baklava, and Turkish Coffee. Their Massaya red wine was 11/10. The only comment I would have is to get gluten free bread if possible! Again, I love this spot, love the owner. He is very respectful, kind and engaging. What a great place!!!

10/10 totally recommend! We went to Nora’s Terrace Tea Room in the front of O’Brien’s pub. This part of O’Brien’s is in honor of the owner’s mother who passed away from ovarian cancer. It’s a beautiful tribute and the room was absolutely gorgeous with the perfect ambiance. Although the pub was filled with people, it was quiet in the tea room and comfortable. The tea list had so many options! I was in a party of 4 and we each got a different flavor and shared. The servings that came with the tea were delightful and delicious. Little sandwiches, cakes, and scones. The scones are all personally made by the owner and they are the best I’ve ever had. The scones would be worth the trip on their own! This hidden gem right in Warrenton is incredibly underrated. The staff went above and beyond to make the experience so delightful. The owner even came to our table to wish us Happy Mother’s Day! We only had one small problem that was our own fault… when we made our reservation we forgot to let them know someone in our party was gluten free. Even though we had already been served, once we informed the staff, without request or prompt they made gluten free sandwiches! It was such wonderful customer service and a generous surprise! I will absolutely be going back and can’t wait to bring my friends - it’s open on the weekends! I want to start by saying that our waitress was great, and I don’t blame her for any of our issues. That said, we rented a yurt and half of our party has a gluten allergy. We ordered GF appetizers, and when they were brought out they were sat down and the food runner called them “gluten free.” We proceeded to eat, and about 10–15 minutes later the waitress came out and let us know the food was not gluten free. Not good, considering half of our party was gluten intolerant. When we got the bill, nothing was comped or discounted and we had to ask. We ended up getting the erroneous appetizer comped and 10% off, but this is potentially going to be a big problem for half of the people in our party. The manager never came to apologize, and had we not said something we wouldn’t have gotten anything taken off of our bill. The whole experience left us dissatisfied.

This was such a quaint spot to stop into while browsing the Downtown Mall area of Charlottesville! It’s a little hidden and we stumbled upon it by accident, but I believe that adds to the charm of the place. It’s on the top floor so you will need to walk up steps and I didn’t see an elevator for those with mobility concerns. At the top you’re greeted by a Bedouin themed area with both table and chair seating and traditional Bedouin style seating (low tables and cushions for seats). There is also a private seating area in the back with similar Bedouin style seating and a few outdoor table/chair seats. Although it has varying tea options, there were a decent amount of food options as well. The restaurant is vegetarian with a decent number of vegan options as well. They do also have the option to add salmon to some of their dishes if you prefer meat protein. Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten Free options are labeled on the menu so no need for guessing. We ordered Blossoming Tea, the Smoked Salmon Sandwich with a side of Dahl, the Coconut Cardamon Cake, and the Vegan Spice Cake. First time trying dahl so for those who also haven’t tried it before, it’s made of lentils so tastes like a grainer porridge. We enjoyed the spice cake but found the Cardamon Teacake a tad dry. The Smoked Salmon Sandwich was wonderful. As a tea enthusiast this was a great visit, but this is also a must visit if you just want a cool place to take a break or if you want a cozy spot to eat. August 2023, back at GD. GREAT experience again today. Our server Selma was great. My salmon was perfect and my son loved their breaded cauliflower❤️ my white sangria was fantastic - and finally in a wine glass. ❤️ July 2023 - Loved my experience at GD on Columbia Pike. My salmon was delicious. My sister has major allergies, and they offered an array of gluten Free options. While there was a slight error in her meal, our waitress (Sydney - who was fantastic btw) fixed it right away, and the manager even came out to make sure we were okay! White sangria was delicious - although I would prefer to have wine in an actual wine glass. Loved my experience. Will be back again.🙂
