Great atmosphere and interior design. Just came here for some lunch. The food was good but I don’t think it reflected the price paid. Did not try anything off the drinks menu though the drinks at other tables did look great. I really appreciated that the whole menu was gluten free and there were plenty of vegan options.

I have been with a group of friends there twice, I am celiac and I have not had any problems eating, the girl who served us very kindly explained to us that everything was gluten-free. The food was delicious and in terms of quality and price it was great. I totally recommend this site.

Finding somewhere to eat as a coeliac, is always a very difficult task. WOW, not only did we feel truly welcomed by the fabulous manager, he also pulled up a seat and sat with us to ensure we would have a great dining experience. The coeliac meal was prepared with the utmost care and the food was wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Service - Great hospitality by Debra, super cordial and can tell she likes being around people. Felix is quite friendly as well. Food - Used Groupon vouchers but the food was plentiful and made 4x different variations on each meal and got all correct. They do extra crispy bacon and poached eggs as an option. The gluten free option (no extra charge!), girlfriend thought they were excellent and we thought they tasted even better than our normal pancakes 🥞 Atmosphere - very clean and organised

I wanted to order a takeaway through uber for my partners birthday. We have previously eaten here before and get a gluten free base pizza. I called to ask if that was ok if I could order through the app and request if they did a gluten free base. The guy on the phone said they don’t do gluten free bases there. I responded that I’ve had them before here and he said well you can write it in the notes. I said well I’m not going to pay for pizzas if they are not going to be gluten free bases so I said will they be gluten free base and he responded no. Terrible, terrible service and did not make me feel welcome at all. Not accommodating and quite frankly rude.

The first place I have seen that sells gluten-free souffle pancake. Very interesting. Welcoming staffs. Clean premise. The place did not seem to be air-conditioned. However, they have sufficient fans around the place, which was thoughtful. Ordered tiramisu souffle pancake. The pancake was very jiggly and wasn't too sweet. It was nice.

Cracking place in hardware lane - pho was top shelf but the real star of the show were the Hanoi net spring rolls! As good a spring roll as you’ll ever have. Bravo 🙌 Gluten free friendly sauces too 👍

The best gelato in Melbourne! Such a range of great flavours, and they always have exciting specials. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable of coeliac disease. I believe almost every flavour was gluten free, and they also used a fresh spoon from a fresh batch of gelato to reduce cross contamination, after I advised I was coeliac. Cannot recommend this spot enough!

I treated my sister who is gluten free to the Summer Sips high tea. We were very impressed with the attentive service that we experienced. The staff had excellent attention to detail, they made sure we had a wonderful afternoon. The cocktails were well balanced with the food selection. The biggest highlight was the GF selection, the savory pastry was delicious!

Highly recommended as this restaurant is in a beautiful area, staff are friendly and efficient, food is delicious and atmosphere is chilled. We had the Sweet Potato poached eggs on gluten-free toast with avacado and red chillie scrambled eggs with coffee's. It was delicious, and coffee was amazing. We were lucky with our timing and got a table straight away. However, within 5 mins, there were huge queues for the restaurant. So it's advisable to book if you can. I would still strongly advise: it's worth the wait as we had a wonderful experience. Thank you so much to the staff and restaurant.

I am so glad I found this joint! A cool space with a good atmosphere and excellent customer service. If you’ve seen any of my food posts you’ll know I’m that person with a ridiculous food intolerance that is usually not considered. Here it was! They have a separate emu that lists the items open for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, fructose free, onion free and garlic and onion free! What? So good! My bloke and I shared a few dishes when eating out for the first time in… for ever! Delicious cabbage and pork dumplings, legit fried rice, crispy pork belly and eye fillet steak - we had sauces on the side for him to enjoy and me to avoid and both thoroughly enjoyed a top notch, tasty meal along with a couple of crisp and light rice lagers. I bought some of the yummy smelling teas to go. A first class experience. Thanks!

A beautiful little Italian restaurant tucked away down one of Melbourne’s side streets. From the get go, they were welcoming and attentive. They made recommendations, and accommodated a few modifications we needed to make (my partner is gluten free). Great atmosphere! They were clearly passionate about what they do, and that shows. Excellent spot especially for food allergies. Wife and I had an great 3 course meal that cater for low fodmap and celiac diets. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about our requirements and there recommendations of baked brie and the risotto were spot on! The low fodmap wagyu burger was one of the best I have eaten. This meal was the highlight of our stay in the city. Will definitely be back and will bring more people :-)

Hubby and I went here for our 10 year anniversary dinner in December and it was lovely. The venue was packed (definately recommend booking), the staff were lovely and the food was amazing. We had a gluten free pasta dish which was nice, but the gluten free Pizza was delish! The base was beautiful and soft...it felt like I was eating "normal" pizza! Very yummy. Highly recommend.

I love this café for a few reasons, first and foremost. They have the best orange Matcha that is so creative and tasty! Second is their staff is really friendly. We were waiting outside before they opened, staff at the opposite side of the laneway told us in the very abrupt way that they were open until 830 however they didn’t know that we were actually waiting for 10 square Café to open. When we came up right up to Ten Square at 8 AM, they were so friendly sat us down really quick to serve on top of all this they also have really wonderful food! They have gluten-free vegan and nut free options and I’ve had a number of things here and they’re all very delicious. Great place to come if you’re staying in the Melbourne CBD.

Strange vibe here. The food was very quick but felt sort of lackluster and the gluten free bun was very dry and hard. It’s clear that they’re cutting some corners with staffing which makes the customer service poor. You can’t ask for anything from your table really. You have to go to the bar. And if you already have food at your table and want dessert you have to go outside to order dessert. Just a weird set up that makes the whole experience make the customer feel like a bother.

Dinner for 2 on a Tuesday night which was packed with people, luckily we made a booking. We got the signature set for $190 per person, which I felt was plenty of food. Everything we had was delicious and cooked to perfection, especially the citrus butter scallops, glazed fish collar, wagyu shish and slow roasted lamb shoulder. They tried to accomodate my gluten intolerance by swapping for gf bread, gf breadcrumbs and gf chocolate mousse which was great! Atmosphere was classy and dark however was noisy due to being cramped with people. Service was amazing with waiters explaining each dish however again it was too noisy to hear them. It is on the pricier side, we spent almost $500 including drinks for 2 of us, so not a place I’d come to often. But it was nice for a birthday celebration.

We managed to get a table outside and were promptly attended to by wait staff. The menu is diverse with delicious options and cater for vegetarians and gluten intolerances. All meals arrived in a timely manner and each was delectable with alterations made as requested (no mayo on burger, gf bread for teriyaki mushrooms and added fried egg). Burgers looked so good there was an appetite of food envy! Would come back esp to try those.

Loved the vibe of this cafe! Buzzing and mostly corporate clientele during the week. Very thick fluffy gluten free bread which is always a good surprise! Lovely presentation of the scrambled eggs which were creamy and big portion. Good selection of pastries and amazing breakfast menu. They do a pretty good matcha. Not the best I’ve had but still good. Would absolutely come back on a weekend where I have more time to sit back and enjoy.

We waited 40min to get our order… we were only a table of 3 people. All the tables around us have been served before us but arrived later. The okonomiyaki was burnt, the corn cheese was floating in oil, the noodles were too much cooked, the clay pot was fade…. No indication for gluten free meal.. no tap water … Never again !

Dine in- the restaurant is fun. Staff are really friendly, killer menu. We managed to get out of there without ordering dessert but I still have that bucket thing on my mind. I had the chicken burger. Sauce and cheese were super tasty. And the chicken was high qual. My partner had the GF burger and the bun was decent (for being gluten free).

What a great cafe! Owner and staff were super friendly, the menu is great and plenty of gluten free options. The prices are very reasonable and the portions sizes are generous. We had the smashed avo and it was delicious, my only let down was there could have been a little more feta, we only got 2 small cubes. Coffee was great too. We'll definitely come back when we're in Melbourne next

@LaTonadaRestaurant is located down the leafy streets of North Carlton lies this Latino Spanish restaurant. I'd asked for menu recommendations and chose the octopus for starters and the special, chicken in mango sauce which sounds a little unusual. Pulpo Arrecife al Grill: Locally sourced Octopus cooked at a very low temperature and then flamed grilled with wine accompanied by avocado, spinach, capsicum, red cabbage and mango. This is a hearty meal for a starter. Lots of delicious tender chunks of octopus atop a creamy mayo, a pile of greens atop an avocado green goddess kind of sauce which is delicious and provides freshness against the meaty octopus and oil dressing, as too the chunks of mango, and corn chips for crunch. This is a very satisfying meal and could have easily have stopped here and had a dessert. Pechugita de pollo cocinada a baja temperatura en salsa de mango Chicken breast cooked at low temperature in mango sauce accompanied by potato-mozzarella croquettes (gluten free) and grilled vegetables. Then a plate of juicy, tender, succulent chicken is served. I can't say I've eaten chicken so tender. The mango sauce is more flavour and not all that sweet, tempered by the chef in the creation of the dish, complimenting the chicken. Plantain, like banana but more starchy and barely sweet forms a fritter for crunch. I'm a huge fan of croquettes and the parmesan flavoured crispy crunchy croquettes oozes creamy bechamel coated potato. Indulgent. The grilled vegetables are just what this dish needs and so too the balsamic vinegar blobs for that touch of sweet acidity. Wonderful to experience such a historic tearoom in Melbourne - lovely historic decor too. The tea was very very expensive. The food did look lovely. Noticed they had gluten free treats, like pavlova, but couldn’t eat it, because they store it next to gluten filled cake - not coeliac safe! Felt rushed in a passive aggressive way by the staff to leave, understand it was busy but maybe inform customers that there’s a time slot to prevent a slight uncomfortable feeling?? The surcharge was also rather excessive, especially when the service was satisfactory.

Super busy so expect to wait if you haven't booked ahead. Expect very casual dining. Self service via a QR code and a robot delivering your order. The food is fabulous. Fresh, tasty and good portion sizes. A great selection for all dietary needs including Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan menus. Overall great value for money.
