I was THRILLED when I stumbled across this bakery today. I couldn’t believe my eyes! A gluten free bakery! I got three cupcakes, two butter tarts, and an apple crisp, and everything was absolutely 10/10. The texture of the cupcakes was AMAZING— absolutely blown away. Thank you!!!!!

Pesto pasta was delicious (very flavourful). Gluten free penne was slightly overcooked and falling apart. I upgraded my dish to include chicken (an extra $6). I was expecting to see either strips of grilled chicken or a whole chicken breast on the plate. There were only a few chicken breast chunks. I was a little disappointed with the amount of chicken for $6.

I know the food is good here and they cater to gluten free as well. On Saturday we were in the area and saw the sign "Serving Breakfast and Lunch all day" It was 3:00 p.m and they close at 4:00. We were looking forward to a crepe. When we got to the counter they told us we couldn't order crepes because they were closing soon. An hour seems a bit much as a cut off time to order a crepe. Especially with most restaurants saying they are struggling these days... They only at that time sell what is on the counter which we could not have because of being gluten free. Super disappointing. I'm quite sure I would of given them a 5 star for the food.

I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant. I was in the area for business and stopped here for dinner. I ordered the mahi mahi fish entree and it was arguably one of the best meals of my life. The service is very quick, professional and outstanding. What impressed me the most was the attention and care they take when preparing and serving meals for gluten-free (GF) diners like me. They can prepare must dishes GF upon request. Seldom have I witnessed such attention to detail with precautions taken. The GF cheesecake dessert was something to die for. I want to travel back to Kanata merely to dine at this location. So they were pretty busy when we came here for dinner a week ago. We didn't wait more than 15 minutes to get a table despite them being so busy. They have a gluten free menu so celiacs can feel safe eating here and not worry about potential language barriers or issues in explaining the whole celiac thing. Sushi, sashimi, salads, and more. Everything is got was yummy 😋. They did mess up my drink order, but once told they immediately fixed it. 🙂 Atmosphere is pleasant but unfortunately we were close to the door so it was noisy.

It's my first time to visit the restaurant in Kanata. Went there with my family today. Staff were nice and visible. My table was cleared periodically. The place is nicely spacious and tables are clean. The buffet offers a generous selection of salads, gluten free food and regular food. I had some chicken madras, rice biryani and butter chicken. Food tasted authentic indian and was definitely fresh. I enjoyed the warm gulab jammon to end my meal. Definitely will be back for another visit 🙂 Thank for the chef and the service team for your hospitality 🙂🙂

This was by far the best crispy chicken burger I have ever had! I am gluten intolerant and I was able to have the burger and the bun and I had no issues with any of the usual IBS symptoms. Place was very clean and the service was excellent!

Montana's is a great any occasion spot. We made a reservation ahead of our visit and were glad we did because otherwise Friday at supper time there is a waiting time for a table. Our server was great and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our starters prior to having our meals come out. She was also prompt to offer drink refills when needed. We were a group of 5 and never felt rushed to finish up our meal and exit, we were celebrating an occasion and able to enjoy our visit. The food was hot, everyone ordered different items, including a gluten free and a vegetarian meal and we each enjoyed our individual choices. We left plenty full, the pricing at Montana's is very fair. The restaurant was a mix of young adults, families with kids in tow (they have some really cool kids drinks on the menu) and seniors with adult children. A great spot, great food and amazing service - we will be back.

Great, hearty burritos full of flavor and juice. I only order takeout so I can't say much about the service or atmosphere but the food is excellent. I have not tried their other dishes but if I go based off of the burritos I am sure they are just as good. Check the app or online ordering for deals and promotions. They do offer gluten free wraps/tortillas.

Typical dine in , with lots of options, pastas, pizzas, burgers , salads . Had Tilapia couple of times which is a great dish. Also they took a very good care, of my relative who is gluten allergic. Kids options are also great.

Cool diner atmosphere. We stopped here because our usual spot, Pure Kirchen, was closed for a staff event. I was excited to find out they have vegan options, but their service team needs more training to understand dietary restrictions and the seriousness in ensuring things are delivered as expected. Our vegan poutine came with dairy curds in it and left me feeling sick for the rest of the drive home. To their credit, they waived my whole meal, but I'd take feeling right over free food. If you're gluten-free, don't even bother.

Our waiter was so nice, made sure my food was gluten free. They made sure to seat everyone spaced out in the restaurant which was lovely. Food was great. The seasoning on those fries was amazing and the portion of coleslaw! Someone finally gets it!

Had my daughter’s engagement party upstairs with 50 people! Friends and family had a blast. The kitchen manager Clark went above by accommodating my gluten allergy. Robyn Kailin and Gage on the bar kept us all well hydrated! Can’t wait for our next party here!!

We ordered a variety of pizzas this evening for a family gathering. The order included vegetarian and gluten free options. They were great! And the GF pizzas were some of the best we have found in Ottawa. Tomaso's is now a family favorite.

Pretty great! Was very clean when I walked in and someone helped me as soon as I was in (as soon as the little bell on the door rang). Was not busy and the music was quite low so not too over stimulating. They have gluten free options (gluten free crust & cauliflower crust), which was my priority. More welcoming than other locations in my opinion. Has always been a staple.

The only place burrito place around town that offers tofu & actually marinated it properly. The sautéed veggies are seasoned well. Huge portions for the cost. Definitely will come back for an easy gluten free & vegan meal. One thing to note is the website specifies they have corn shells & you can get them as your salad base. But in store they only have flour tortilla

Our favourite place for eating out for breakfast has always been Rockin Johnny’s in Kanata. We don’t get out there as often as we used to. This morning we ventured out for a couple family errands this weekend. So thought it was a great time to go out for breakfast. The place was packed. Hard to find parking. But there was a couple of tables available. Pros: 1) All day breakfast!! 2) Warm, attentive and friendly staff. 3) Great variety of options on the menu. Including healthier and gluten free options. 4) Fantastic food - though I noticed their home fries are different to what they always used to be. Their home fries before were very addictive. 5) Very clean - the staff is very quick to wipe down and clean the tables and chairs as customers leave. This was already common practice before covid. 6) love the old timey pictures and music. The music isn’t too loud. You can still hear and talk to those around you and the staff. Cons: 1) Parking - the restaurant is in a mini shopping Center so the parking lot is large, but it’s always full before lunch. 2) One of my children’s feedback was that their eggs were cold. They had ordered “Ultimate meal” which includes eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, toast, home fries and 2 pancakes. So I had to reduce a star based on this. 3) There is typically a line up to even get a table. But well worth it. Today there was no line but we had to wait almost an hour for our food. Yet others that got here after us, got their food before we did. So I reduced a star based on this. 4) Changed the potatoes (home fries) I guess you can tell by now I miss the potatoes. 5) $90 for breakfast for 4. We miss when you could get a breakfast for us under $50.

This has become my family’s favourite spot to get sushi takeout! Not only is the price to quality ratio decent compared to other options nearby, but the service is very quick with relatively few hiccups. Lots of different options for maki roll and other types of sushi. The hostess is also very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, so she was able to point out the gluten friendly options for my partner. The seating area is small and simple, and there is complementary green tea that you can serve yourself with. I’ve gotten complementary/bonus maki rolls with my take-out orders before, which is a huge bonus! They also dress up the orders with lots of garnishes like pieces of mango and arugula which is nice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a local spot for sushi.

I love this place. Staff is so friendly and fast. Food is always delicious… their dill dip sauce is something else👍🏻 they don’t claim they’re making anything gluten free but non-breaded options are available and didn’t do anything to me after eating.. I will visit again for sure!

Caution ‼️‼️NOT GLUTEN-FREE ‼️If you have the same worries, please note their rice noodles are not gluten free even when they told me yes after I double check with them . I had allergy reaction after eating there. Either they don’t know their food ingredients, or they don’t cook carefully even when I told them I need gluten free. So, friendly reminder to those who are like me, be cautious about what you choose.

This location is by far my absolute favourite! I called awhile ago inquiring about their gluten free options (celiac girl here) and not only was the gentleman very informative, he even said he could make their potatoes for me without the breadcrumbs! Every single time the food is delicious and always looks tasty! The service (both in the restaurant and the drivers) are friendly and prompt! One of my favourite celiac friendly food places!

Amazing!!! Finally somewhere reasonably priced that I can take my whole family! 1 vegetarian, 1 celiac (gluten free), 1 Keto and one hardcore meat lover!!! The food tastes great and I appreciate as a celiac that I can eat here safely, but the portion sizes for the price are absurd, especially when you consider it is vegetarian. I have been going to PK locations across the city for 5 years, and they have gone downhill. Prices keep rising and the portions keep shrinking. Not sure I will return.

Great option if you’re looking for a slightly elevated restaurant experience in Kanata or staying at the hotel. The menu is small, but offers a great variety of options including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. Service is great with friendly staff and good turnaround times for food and drink orders.

Such a great spot. My wife is gluten free and they made an awesome lettuce wrapped burger for her. My toddler spilled his milk all over the table and floor and Dadem, the staff member, brought us a new milk and told us it was totally fine, he helped us move to another table and then cleaned up the other one. We were so grateful for his kindness. Good was excellent and we will definitely be back. We especially loved that the kids meal comes with milk, and a great granola bar with pretty awesome ingredients.
