Good trattoria in the centre, traditional dishes with the possibility of having the entire menu also gluten-free. The dishes are tasty and plentiful, the prices are average for the center of Palermo, the only important note is that the penne rigate cannot be served with fried courgettes, this first course must absolutely be served with spaghetti or spaghettoni, a blue pencil mistake.

Finally a pizzeria where those with intolerances can enjoy a truly delicious pizza. Special praise goes to Salvo, the waiter who served us during dinner. His preparation in recommending wines was impeccable: he guided us with passion and competence in choosing the perfect pairing for our dishes, transforming the dinner into a small food and wine journey. What a huge disappointment. The two of us got two pizzas. A gluten-free Romana and a margherita with mushrooms whose cooking is rather doubtful as they looked like they were defecated by a seagull. In any case, we go beyond sight and eat them, terrible, very poor quality of both the dough and the ingredients (as simple as they were). But that's not all, we also had considerable difficulty digesting the pizzas, which literally remained on our stomachs. Final gem, two pizzas (one Roman and one Margherita with mushrooms) two cokes and a bottle of water €43.50, a robbery!!! If they had been good I wouldn't have said anything, but two crazy things and excessive prices for the poor quality (saying quality is a compliment)! Huge disappointment!! Never never again

Super nice environment with rooms all furnished differently (the one with the monkeys is beautiful). The tented exterior is welcoming, and in summer you can breathe the air of the garden on Piazza Sant'Oliva. The selection of wines and beers available is excellent. I highly recommend trying Palino.

We had a great experience! The food was great! Sea Bream is a must try imo, so is the clam pasta! They have gluten free options, which is a big plus for us! When we got in (lunch time), it was packed with locals. Which was a great sign. We were not disappointed. We would come back to try other dishes, if we have enough time.

Awful service, weird ambiance (just some random tables in an alley with no actual restaurant), sub-par food, and up-charges for gluten free items that were not listed on the menu or disclosed by the waiter (€3/item). The appetizer was cold even though they said it took a long time since they used fresh oil to fry them (they were obviously not freshly fried as they were cold). Pesto pasta and carbonara pasta took more than an hour to make even with an empty “restaurant” (there was only 1 other table occupied with 2 people). Would not recommend, was our least favorite meal of our 1 week trip in Palermo.
