The restaurant is good for organizing meals for large groups. The waiters are friendly and the food isn't bad, but there is better quality in nearby restaurants. The cod omelet and the cecina are very good. On the other hand, the breading on the croquettes and the cachopo isn't very good, as it's gluten-free and there's no other option. The cachopo is very good (large) and comes with plenty of potatoes. The mushrooms with cheese were also very good. Finally, I would like to highlight that the wine list is good and the prices aren't too high.

We were very comfortable, we went with our dog and they gave us a table on the terrace. When ordering, they advised us very well and we managed to get the amount right (which is not always easy). I made a reservation several days in advance for a special occasion, and the experience was still completely disappointing. After driving an hour to get to the restaurant for dinner, we found it closed without any advance notice. Furthermore, there were people with celiac disease, so finding a safe place to dine isn't something that can be easily improvised. This lack of seriousness and consideration for customers is unacceptable. It's a shame, because we expected much more. I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you're coming from far away or have special dietary needs.

Two adults and a child went for lunch. Our limitation when it comes to eating out is that one of us is celiac. Well, I have to say that we arrived without a reservation and they made room for us. As soon as they found out there was a celiac at the table, both the waitress came over to give us the menu we could order and the head waiter assured us they knew what the deal was. They immediately informed the kitchen, and the service we received was a treat. Great cheap eats on the Main Street. Lots of gluten free options. My celiac son was thrilled with the delicious pizzas and French fries. The bocadillos were great too. Nothing fancy, just good food at a decent price. We liked it so much we went twice even though we were only in Cangas Del Narcea for about 36 hours. The staff were so great with my terrible Spanish- very patient and helpful. Also the house wine was good and not much more than a euro a glass. If we lived nearby we’d be regulars. We went on a Sunday for lunch with 2 small children. The children's area is great, very complete with areas separated by ages. Also an outdoor area with dinosaurs that is painted, a disco, a children's cinema... impressive. This cider house is located in Pito, right next to the palace. It has a large covered terrace where you can relax. If you go between the last week of June and the first week of July, make a reservation, otherwise you'll find it fully booked. The service is very friendly. We had the cured meat croquettes, fried octopus, calamari, regular and gluten-free cachopo, and Padrón peppers, and everything was delicious. You can also get takeout if you're staying at a rural house and want to eat at home. Definitely recommend it.

We went to celebrate 5 friends' birthdays on Friday for dinner. What a great discovery. The kitchen of scandal (that is, when you have been thinking for 15 years that you don't like artichokes and you leave there thinking that you want to eat them cooked like this 3 days a week).
