Extremely good restaurant also for celiacs: starters and main courses are prepared without using gluten. The location is fantastic and you will probably need to book in the summer. Prices are affordable.
Bright lights and a cozy vibe make this spot perfect for a relaxing time, with attentive service and a vibrant drink selection that hits the spot.

Just had lunch at Zena Zuena with friends. Very kind staff, varied menu, various vegetarian and gluten-free options. We'll be back! Thanks to all the staff for their hospitality and professionalism

Strategic place on the Genoa pier, very good but quite expensive pizza. Especially the gluten-free menu (1/3 of the menu for everyone) is scarce and very expensive... but as usual celiacs always pay more in money and taste of food.
It would be nice to have the exact same menu also available in the gluten-free version given the price paid.
Tucked away in the charming Genoese alleys, this spot impresses with delicious tigelline and a heartwarming social mission.

I was here for a snack, delicious and cheap tigelle, the lady who served me was super cheerful, I don't remember her name but I know she is of Colombian origin, in addition to the good food we also had a nice chat where she told me a little his story, I was almost moved, I will definitely return and I recommend everyone to try their tigelle, one last thing they also make tigelle for celiacs

Excellent restaurant, near the old port, with traditional dishes and more. Many gluten-free options (and I'm not talking about the usual salad or steak, which are already gluten-free, I'm talking about pizzas, traditional first courses including trofie with pesto, or casonsei with walnut sauce, pizzas, second courses and desserts). I highly recommend the trofie with octopus and taggiasca olives, which I really liked.
Enjoy a delightful ice cream experience with a wide variety of flavors and generous portions in a totally gluten-free environment.

The ice cream in this shop is labeled as containing no gluten coloring or artificial flavors. There are many styles to choose from. They are smooth and delicious, but the price is a bit expensive.

Excellent restaurant and pizzeria offering many different options suitable for all needs. The pizzas, with excellent quality ingredients, are made in three different formats (the peel one is highly recommended!), and several gluten-free ones are also available. The restaurant menu is very varied, and offers the possibility of dining with meat or first courses. The staff is very courteous and attentive to customer requests; the venue has several rooms and is therefore also suitable for large groups. If you are looking for a place to dine in the heart of the historic center that can satisfy everyone, you will not be disappointed here!
Experience a welcoming vibe with delicious pizza and impressive hospitality, making it a top pick for gatherings, even with kids in tow!

Really satisfied, we arrived in Genoa and we didn't know where to go, we found a nice place, the place isn't the best but it's fine, very kind staff but the pizza really good, highly recommended for gluten-free, the only thing my wife told me good but a little low, but that's okay😉
A hidden gem with a fantastic vibe, great variety, and quality dishes that won’t break the bank—definitely worth a visit!

Unfortunately disappointing experience in this tavern. Young waiters, okay, but inexperienced; they brought the first courses before the appetizers, the wine arrived a quarter of an hour after the glasses, with the meal almost over. The gluten free option is appreciated, however there is a lack of vegan options (as a lactose intolerant I found milk and derivatives in almost all the fish-based dishes). Pleasant environment, in a basement room inside a historic building, dominated by an imposing vault. Average prices, but decidedly high considering the service. Poor wine list, with a poor choice of Ligurian wines, of which only one red can be ordered by the glass and this was absolutely not worth the price.
Nestled in the heights of Genoa, this cozy spot boasts stunning views and a unique atmosphere with historic decor and a variety of delicious pizzas.

welcoming place, extremely clean and very efficient and kind staff, but the highlight are the pizzas, choice between 4 types of dough plus gluten-free, furthermore for Vegans and intolerants there is vegetable cheese which can be put on each pizza without surcharge!!
and the prices are very honest, without lacking in quality 👍 so much so that I was amazed at the bill 😳 €16 for pizza, farinata, medium beer and cover charge 🔝
I highly recommend it ☺️🫶

Best restaurant we ate at on our honeymoon in Italy. The pasta was expertly prepared. I had the cod ravioli with butter and chives, and she had the gluten free pasta with walnut filling.. she literally cried with joy.
The main dishes of the seafood stew and the rabbit were both excellent. It was delightful to try traditional cuisines from the area. We really felt like we were eating regional dishes that had heart and soul put into them. The owner was conversing with people at each table and you could tell he's very passionate about serving quality food.
Amazing dining experience.

I waited a long time to write this review, because I am a regular customer and I understand that a bad night can happen, but when the months go by and the level gets lower and lower, then there must be something wrong. Burnt pizzas, raw pizzas, missing ingredients, pizzas not cut when required out of necessity, gluten-free dough more like mush than pizza, dough that they make you drink all day. It's a real shame because they have always been punctual, but now the quality of the past is only a vague memory

The pizza is delicious and also available for celiacs. The service excellent. The central location and close to car parks make it easily accessible.

We chose this restaurant because of the mention that they offer gluten-free pizza. When we got there, we asked briefly whether this was the case and we were told that they had gluten-free pizza on offer. We then chose two pizzas, but unfortunately the menu was only available in Italian and could not be translated, which made it difficult to find the pizzas. Please note that certain pizzas are delivered without tomato sauce, so the ham is placed directly on the dough. It's definitely a matter of taste, but it worked for us. The ham or the cuttings are freshly cut in one piece by the machine.
Although the toilet was handicapped accessible, many of the dowels were already out of the wall, which is why I doubt anyone would be able to hold on to them. In general the whole ambience is ok. but I think we could make it out of it.
Since we were so hungry we completely forgot to take a photo, but the pizzas look very appetizing and inviting.
Experience a cozy charm with unique room layouts, attentive service, and a constantly changing menu that delights every visit.

Historic pastry shop, the pastry chef is always experimenting with new recipes and is always happy to please his customers. I've been going to the pastry shop for about seven years, ever since I was diagnosed with celiac disease, because the gluten-free desserts are really good. I love pastry chef Roberto's desserts and even my partner who is not celiac eats them with pleasure.
A lively spot with unique gourmet options and fresh ingredients, though the noise levels can get high and parking is tricky.

Really excellent gluten-free pizza, expensive scrunchie but with quality products.
Service to be reviewed; waiters who ask you if you have already booked, a glass of beer spilled and three wrong orders on a table are not up to par with the food

I went with some friends because of the gluten-free (+4€) in the pizza dough. My pizza had raw dough, raw sauce, little cheese and tasteless courgettes... my friends had cheese focaccias which were very good but with childish portions, my boyfriend had a breaded cutlet (half raw ). The millefeuille dessert was good. We spent around 30 euros each, expensive for no reason.

One random Sunday evening you park in the basement near Colombo's house and search on Google for "typical Genoese cuisine". A thousand thousand red dots light up, all with at least 4 stars and dozens (hundreds!) of reviews. Ok, you can't go wrong, "ndo cojo cojo", it's starting to be 9pm and it's chilly, there's no need to go too far, so we'll stop here, after reading the menu on the notice board.
We enter this mini maze of stairs and rooms (in the end there are 2 but there and then you get lost for a moment and Zena knows, make room where you can) and we sit down. In the meantime, a family from Bologna who they had met shortly before enters from the... er... window, also looking for a place to have dinner.
Warm furnishings, almost in modernized poor art, which encourage conviviality. Out of the menu on a walking blackboard... Menu apparently printed with one of the first inkjets that didn't use sheets of paper with holes in the sides, but that's not certain. Dishes? Various, real and fairly typical, with a decent offer even for celiacs.
Let's start with delicious fried artichokes, then I won't put a photo of the mandillos, which are culinary porpoise, together with a cod and a dessert each.
Portions rather in line with modern taverns.
Why not 5 stars then?
-The tiramisu seemed without eggs, but with whipped cream and mascarpone. I like it but... I think many would object. The honest Neapolitan pastiera.
-Friendly service but a little slow and imprecise
- The toilets need to be revised. Absolutely.
We would need a fix to the doors that squeak like the worst low-grade horror films and... Well they don't even close properly! Ventilation to be redone
It wouldn't take much to....
With a fantastic variety of fresh and dry pasta, this place surprises with excellent quality and affordable prices, perfect for pasta enthusiasts.
