A must-see every time we pass by Sestri Levante. The place is located on the seafront, going towards the port. The staff is always very kind; when you arrive they welcome you with an aperitif that they serve you while you choose the fresh fish you want to eat, there is a fish counter, where you can choose what you want, or there is a list with the dishes that you always find. A plus of the place is the fact that they also have gluten-free pizza and if you are celiac they heat up bread for you. They almost always have gluten-free pasta, so you can eat more or less like other people. You absolutely have to try the padella.. in the summer I recommend you book in the olive grove next to the place, where they put a few tables and the atmosphere is beautiful.

Went here twice on the trip because it was sooo good. The mixed seafood platter is amazing with every item crispy, not greasy at all. Gluten free options available for the breading also that was delicious. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I’d highly recommend to anyone in La spezia

Cozy, clean place with friendly and helpful staff. I particularly recommend it to those like me who have to follow a (gluten free) diet: it is the best place in Chiavari to enjoy an excellent breakfast, lunch, aperitif or aperitif without worrying about your dietary needs. I recommend their croissants, focaccia and pasta (all gluten free). They have a wide selection of products and excellent quality!

One random Sunday evening you park in the basement near Colombo's house and search on Google for "typical Genoese cuisine". A thousand thousand red dots light up, all with at least 4 stars and dozens (hundreds!) of reviews. Ok, you can't go wrong, "ndo cojo cojo", it's starting to be 9pm and it's chilly, there's no need to go too far, so we'll stop here, after reading the menu on the notice board. We enter this mini maze of stairs and rooms (in the end there are 2 but there and then you get lost for a moment and Zena knows, make room where you can) and we sit down. In the meantime, a family from Bologna who they had met shortly before enters from the... er... window, also looking for a place to have dinner. Warm furnishings, almost in modernized poor art, which encourage conviviality. Out of the menu on a walking blackboard... Menu apparently printed with one of the first inkjets that didn't use sheets of paper with holes in the sides, but that's not certain. Dishes? Various, real and fairly typical, with a decent offer even for celiacs. Let's start with delicious fried artichokes, then I won't put a photo of the mandillos, which are culinary porpoise, together with a cod and a dessert each. Portions rather in line with modern taverns. Why not 5 stars then? -The tiramisu seemed without eggs, but with whipped cream and mascarpone. I like it but... I think many would object. The honest Neapolitan pastiera. -Friendly service but a little slow and imprecise - The toilets need to be revised. Absolutely. We would need a fix to the doors that squeak like the worst low-grade horror films and... Well they don't even close properly! Ventilation to be redone It wouldn't take much to....

Nice place, big inside and with some tables outside on the street. It is mainly a pizzeria but there are also other types of dishes. Excellent gluten-free pizza! But be prepared to wait a long time and be abandoned

On December 28th I had dinner at your place, I was invited to the wedding of my friends Francesca and Alvaro... What a wonderful view of the spectacular Zena, your place is super welcoming, the dishes are excellent, I didn't find anything imperfect, the service was impeccable Even though there were 70 of us, we all had dinner together and well, every course was hot, beautiful to look at and very tasty, at my table there was a friend of mine who is celiac, you were super attentive to her dishes, always beautiful to look at and good to eat as she said, your guys at the service were fast and attentive to please everyone... Lunch was brilliant - very busy but managed to get a table for 8 inside. The pasta was exceptional - pesto gnocchi was a favourite and we had gluten free spaghetti with pesto sauce and it was exceptional!highly recommended

Chaotic restaurant, mediocre food paid like gold, unfriendly staff. Everyone quite stressed… A gluten-free pizza paid 21 euros, practically a steal! The food was certainly quality, but the price is excessive, you eat in the middle of chaos and in my opinion it is not worth it. Lots of choice both of pizzas and fish or meat and you are served quite quickly. Not very suitable for dinners with small children.

I rediscovered this pizzeria after years and I must say that it did not disappoint me. Pleasant environment, very kind staff. The pizzas are delicious, light and well garnished. I would add that even the pizzas for gluten intolerants are excellent, tasty and above all well cooked and crunchy. Super paccheri with squid sauce!! Great gluten free option! The server offered gluten free focaccia sandwiches. I enjoyed a delicious sandwich with an iced latte and a glass of local wine. They did warn me that there could be cross contamination. My dad had regular bruschetta and really enjoyed it.

We went to the Palmaria restaurant because we were attracted by the AIC certification, since my boyfriend is celiac. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to expectations, especially considering the level of the restaurant. As soon as we arrived, the head waiter asked out loud "Who is intolerant?", and when we answered that it was celiac disease, he replied: "But what's the difference?". A question that, from a restaurant certified for gluten-free, truly surprised us. We would have expected greater awareness and sensitivity on such an important topic for those living with an autoimmune disease. The service itself was discreet, but with a cover charge of €5 per person, we would have expected different and more professional attention. The place is certainly beautiful and has potential, but on some aspects - especially those related to sensitivity towards customers with dietary needs - there is still work to be done.

A nice local restaurant in the heart of Lerici. It’s like entering in a cave, thick walls and no windows. The food was good, served fresh and quick. They even have gluten free bread. The appetizer with 8 samples of seafood was really good. I enjoyed it a lot. The service was also commendable, polite and friendly waiters. Also the dessert was done nicely.

We had a reservation at 18.30. Due to a long traffic delay we couldn’t make that timing so we asked to postpone the reservation for 1 hour. It was no problem at all. The food was amazing, and the staff was very welcoming. He even had gluten free options when we asked. Great place to stay!

This has been the best meal in Italy so far (and the priciest!). They are very aware of how to accommodate gluten allergies. Today's food porn: Osteria della Corte in La Spezia. Don't show up without a reservation, even for lunch. The servers are very kind, have the right sense of humor, and navigated us through our choices. It was so good, in fact, I need to share the entire list of our meal: Purple prawn carpaccio with focaccia crumble and tomato (so good). Spaghetti with oil, garlic, chili, prawns and burrata Organic Fassona fillet with “caffè de Paris” sauce (yellow curry?!) Szechuan Pepper Ice Cream with Coconut Bonbon and Liquid Liquorice Bronte pistachio semifreddo with lavender sauce “Custard” with almonds biscuits(amaretti), rum and chocolate Also, this is the only place that actually offered us gf bread. It was just so nice to not have some generic, dry, bad tasting pre-manufactured effort. They confessed they didn't bake it themselves, but it was so good we asked for another basket which they obliged. All this came to 155€, so that's pretty pricey, but we'd do it again. And again and again. I'd even say go out of your way to eat here even if La Spezia is not in your plan.

We visited this restaurant, but did not eat the pizza sitting at the table (but on the beach, a few minutes walk away). I must admit that, although the pizzeria was full, they served and brought us the pizzas within a few minutes and what's more they were really good, both the classic ones and the GLUTEN-FREE one that my girlfriend got. Soft in the dough, but slightly crunchy underneath, very tasty with refined ingredients and a very extensive menu.

Very nice location in the port, I ate a fixed menu that varies based on the catch of the day, the restaurant is linked to the local fishermen's cooperative. Attentive and helpful service, very decent wine list, very satisfied with the gluten-free options

We've wanted to try this restaurant for a long time, but as we've never been to Genoa there's never been an opportunity. We were finally lucky enough to do it (and I say lucky because it was already sold out when we arrived!). As soon as you enter, you are embraced by warm colors and an extremely comfortable and familiar atmosphere, typical of REAL Italian restaurants, and we love this. The menu is well written and "fun" in the sense that it talks about history, has relevance, lots of offerings and at the same time entertains without being tacky. The only problem with this menu is that all the dishes offered are tempting, which makes it difficult to choose. However, as far as I'm concerned, Toni's anchovies were SPACE! Together with the panissa. I recommend the mixed appetizers if you want to try a bit of everything. As for the first courses, I think I have understood that there is this Raviolo in love which is the Faro dish of the house, unfortunately no longer available last night but it is there, for a little restaurant where everything is homemade and with love (which you can feel and see) I also recommend the Mandilli with pesto, a real bomb of flavours. The fish is very good and of excellent quality, as is the skill with which all the dishes are prepared. Even fried foods are not wet and heavy. Possibility to also satisfy celiacs, they made us gluten-free spaghetti with clams, delicious! Unfortunately we no longer had space for dessert, but I can tell you that the idea of ​​having a coffee maker at the table is brilliant, and the coffee is delicious. As for the service, here too it remains convivial but still very pleasant, it feels like entering a friend's house and immediately feeling at ease, and this is really nice. An extra smile was never missing during the evening and this is nice. Congratulations to everyone, I'll be back!
