I went to Al Dente next door to here and asked if I could sit at the bar and the gentleman at the front (owner?) was very pleasant in directing me to “his bar” in Benevetos. So they’re related. The menus are similar except Benevotos has a great open kitchen with a wood fired pizza oven. I was a bit pasta-d out so I was hoping for the Sea Bass Al Dente but it isn’t on this menu. So I went for pizza, and they had a gluten free crust (+$5, a little steep) which was very good. The bar tender, who did a great job, said it would be thin, crunchy and good, and she was right. Overall it was a good pizza with plenty of fresh ingredients. Perhaps undercooked on top, which can happen with a Gf crust, but solid. I’ll try the sea bass next door next time.

Amazing experience all around. Innovative menu, great service and atmosphere, and delicious food. The fusion between French and Cambodian is done with separate menu sections, but some influence across boundaries. Perfect for a date night or a group. The bar has an annoyingly-large and out of place TV though.
Appetizer: Kapik King, a slow-cooked spiced pork belly with a rice croquette and pickles, was perfectly cooked and spiced, and a good portion. The three parts of the dish complemented each other - the melt-in-your-mouth sweet-and-spicy meat, crispy rice, and crunchy salty pickles. 5/5
Appetizer: Leah Chah, mussels in a white whine sauce but with an Asian twist, almost like a light curry. Definitely better than the standard, but two complaints: pretty small portion, and no bread for dipping. 4/5
Entree: Pavé de Saumon, beautifully cooked salmon with mushrooms, over mashed potatoes, and with an arugula side salad. Flavorful, French, and good portion. 5/5
Entree: Curry d’Agneau aux Légumes, braised lamb curry with veggies, Cambodian, bursting with flavor from all the spice, good portion size. 5/5
Desserts: Le Péché au Chocolat, a rich French chocolate truffle cake with raspberry, and Sangkhia l’Pao, a Cambodian squash and coconut cake that was less sweet but nonetheless an awesome dessert with good texture. 4/5
Drinks: non-alcoholic:
Elephant Walk Punch (blood orange, passion fruit, lime) 5/5
Kalamansi agave limeade (kalamansi is a Filipino relative of an orange), but it was too orangey, 4/5
Some of these dishes were on the special menu, which is always long, so you may not find these exact dishes when you go.
Good vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten free-options.
We went for Dine Out Boston, so it was $46 for appetizer, entree, and dessert, and we got $9 nonalcoholic spritzers, but normally it would be $13-17 for an appetizer and and $24-32 for an entree. So not too bad.
We ate brunch here and it was amazing. The food was delicious and unlike any Japanese food I've had before. There is amazing attention to detail in the taste. They are also incredibly Gluten-free friendly. Only one item on the brunch menu had wheat and the fryer was wheat free.

One of the coolest spots in little Italy, I loved the set up. The food was really cool, they offered gluten free pasta and vegan cheese which made my day! The service was a bit slammed, we had to wait a while to get seated and checked out but that’s to be expected when it’s a popular spot.
Expect a lively vibe with a diverse menu featuring unique vegan options, though service can be hit or miss on busy days.

Lots of interesting food but I wouldn't go here if you are coeliac because they can't promise there's been no cross contamination (due to the chicken alternative Seitan).
The strawberry milkshake was the best I've had in a while.

GLUTEN FREE DREAM!!!!!!
This is a small towny restaurant - it’s actually very small ha, but in a cute cabin-like way. The owner, John, came to introduce himself and tell us about the menu. He has been gluten-free for the last 25+ years and understands the importance of gluten-free items on the menu. He said that all, but four items on the menu are either naturally gluten-free or could be made gluten-free. They have a gluten-free only section in the kitchen that is separated from the rest and they do their absolute best effort at avoiding cross contamination. Raquel our waitress was super sweet and attentive as well.
Their mud pie dessert has GF Oreo cookies! DELICIOUS. We ordered fried oysters, calamari, lobster penne vodka, and surf and turf with friend clam strips. OMG DELICIOUS. I have been so limited for so long as someone with celiac disease and I finally found a place I could peacefully enjoy fried foods at!
Enjoy fresh seafood with a light batter in a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for families and great service, just be ready for smaller portions!

Amazing mexi food! The tacos were awesome and basically everything on the menu (besides dessert) is gluten free. We got a bunch of tacos to try and the guac, which was so flavorful and a decent portion size. Pork belly taco was the best imo, also so fun to try the fried fish (I was told it’s fried in rice flour/batter). Watermelon marg was delicious. They have outdoor seating, but it’s not the nicest views (street/parking lot) and indoors is a nice atmosphere, so I’d recommend going inside

Fantastic spot for interesting, creative food without breaking the bank. 1 drink and enough food we all left satisfied was only 120 bucks total for a table of 4. Our servers were fantastic and the kitchen and serving staff were very accommodating of my girlfriend's celiac concerns. Absolutely fantastic.
Enjoy an incredible variety of tasty options and unique offerings that keep everyone coming back for more!

Very good burgers! Loved that the waiter knew exactly what I was asking about the French fries being gluten free. Fries and tots are safe and fried in a separate frier! Very tasty fries and the gluten free bun was good too!

Homemade GF pasta and mozzarella sticks!!! Yes please!! My sister and I both have celiac and our waiter put us at ease right away, letting us know that the gluten-free food was prepared in a separate area. I did have my 10 year old niece with me. She was not as appreciative of the menu. There were not many options for her as a child.
A bright, unassuming gem with a creative menu, offering a variety of delicious vegetarian and vegan options perfect for food lovers.

We’ve eaten a few times at your place since moving to the area, food has been great every single time.
I’ll cut to the chase.
My partner is celiac.
It would appear one of your staffs comprehension of the English language is not satisfactory enough to understand this.
She took our order, peanut soup was ordered, we clearly stated no bread please on the side. When the soup arrived, bread was on the plate and the server has absolutely no idea what the issue was and didn’t know what to do. I removed the bread from my partners plate and told her it’s ok now and that I will eat the bread as I’m not celiac, she attempted to take away my plate, I again said it’s ok leave the bread I’ll eat it. The server then lifted my plate and took it away.
We then ordered pizza, one gluten free and one ordinary pizza.
The same server as before came over to our table, laid down the pizza she was holding and announced it was gluten free!!!
30 seconds later, a tall blonde lady server comes over and announces that the pizza she is holding is gluten free!
Summary, your server around 5ft with long black hair simply should not be taking orders for people with food allergies, it’s my observation that her grasp of English isn’t of a good enough standard.
I did email however received no reply from 3 weeks ago.

Yay for GF options! Overall, a great experience! Rice noodles disintegrated, but I’m used to that in gluten free dishes. Chicken was delicious, peanut sauce was a tasty but a little thick, needed a little more heat, veggies were AMAZING. Kale/bok choy and broccoli was the best. I had high hopes for the GF dumplings, but they managed to be both crunchy and dry on the outside and mushy on the inside. Thai basil lemonade is awesome! Overall, really fun space, great seating upstairs, and we will remember this place next time we are in Boston!

Extensive gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options!
The gluten free “spaceballs” are meant to be gf garlic bread. It’s just a pizza crust with seasonings and parmesan shaker cheese.
I tried the gf cauliflower bites and they were alright! They were baked, not fried.
The pizza was pretty good but nothing special.

Great place!! The service was top-notch, the inside is a bit cramped (it's the north end) and wicked hot inside but otherwise good! The real star was of course the food. Hands down amazing from the appetizer to the main course- and they accommodated all my allergies very well! I'm GF and DF, they were able to do a lot and had Vegan options too. I'm celiac, felt safe and didn't get sick. Highly recommend.

Great spot--especially for those with dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, Jain, gluten free all have tons of fantastic options). Very authentic food, cooked fresh from real ingredients. The Spring Dosa is a go-to for us, and the paneer Tikka masala is decadent for a cold day. Most things on the menu have a low but noticable level of spiciness (and some things are truly hot)--and not just on the Boston scale for heat.

had both the sushi bites and the poke and both were amazing. loved the restaurant was so friendly for gluten free people. Tried the fire luau bowl and it was delicious, it was a great portion too. the sauce options for the sushi bite were delicious. the passionfruit vinaigrette in particular was amazing but the spicy mayo and pineapple aioli were also great.

I was part of a group of 14 yesterday who stopped here for lunch on the way home from Boston. I can't say enough good about out experience. Everyone was happy,as there were more than enough choices to satify everyone. The restaurant was very attentive to dietary needs. ie gluten free, allergies etc. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was very personable and prompt. We were pleasantly surprised as everything came out of the kitchen as ordered and all pretty much at the same time. The food was very good, as was the presentation. Our waitress kept our beverage glasses full. We are all planning out next visit, as this one was so good.

We stopped in on a whim, traveling back to Maine and we are so glad we did. The gluten free options are what drew us in, but the top tier service and quality of this food have now made this our official spot when we come down. The hostess was incredibly friendly, our server was kind, and the food (GF fried pickles, calamari, bang bang shrimp, and onion rings) were incredible, as was the heated deck atmosphere. We will be back, very very soon.

I’m honestly super disappointed. We order take out every Friday night. This is the one day a week we choose not to cook. For the past couple months it has been one bad experience after the other. My food is either consistently wrong. We are given a time frame and arrive on time only to stand around another hour. Or the quality is just plain terrible for what we pay. Now you may ask, why bother going back? Well I wish I could go somewhere else but as a person with Celiac Disease I am left with very limited safe options. I feel safe at this establishment but the service is all over the place. They always appear to be short staffed. While I sympathize with this as someone who use to work in the industry, the attitude we get from the staff is unreal. I hope the establishment grows from these reoccurring reviews.
Retro vibes with a killer arcade and a lively atmosphere make this the ultimate hangout spot for gamers and pop culture fans alike.

I wanted to like this place but the service was really terrible. It took us an hour to receive an order of chicken fingers and they still messed up the order fairly seriously (we ordered gluten free chicken fingers and stated that it was due to an allergy multiple times). When our order finally came out (45 minutes after the couple that were were with received their food), it was definitely not gluten free. It took several minutes to flag down our server to ask if the order was GF, she took it back to the kitchen, and 10 minutes later she came out with a new plate and just said “this one is definitely gluten free.” No acknowledgement or apology for almost getting us sick or the hour that it took to receive our food, and we still paid full price. Which $15+ for 4 chicken fingers and some tater tots is insane.
I watched the kitchen runner bring food to the wrong table at least 4 or 5 times. Just blindly asking people “did you order this?” The lack of attention could get someone sick when dealing with food allergies.
Half of the arcade games were either out of order or in desperate need of service. I really wanted to like this place but we left feeling ripped off.
Nestled by the river, this upscale spot boasts a beautiful view, a lively atmosphere, and a diverse menu that pleases every palate.

Really tough time trying out Clancy’s tonight. Overall, the food was expensive but reasonable (large portions, flavorful), but we had one of the genuinely worst service experiences of my entire life here tonight.
From the start, our waiter Lery made our party extremely uncomfortable. One of our friends is celiac and has a very serious gluten allergy. When she inquired if there was a separate fryer for the gluten-free food (a typical question to avoid cross-contamination), he was extremely rude and said, “Doesn’t it say gluten free on the menu? Obviously it is.” When our food came out, he specifically called her out and said, “Wait for yours, make sure you don’t even look at anyone else’s, because yours is coming out RIGHT NOW”, in a joking tone, to continue to make fun of her dietary restriction. When she tried to clarify that this was a severe allergy and not a preference, he said, “Wow, she must be the mom, okay boss, okay boss”.
After a series of other uncomfortable exchanges, another one of our friends asked if she could please get a Maitai. He looked at her and laughed and said, “You’re not old enough, no”. He continued to tell her she looked like a child, even though we were all adults in the room. He also asked if our other friend was okay, all because he had ordered two drinks in a two hour dinner period. After he said he was fine, Lery said, “Well I know I’ll be having four later tonight!”
The last situation occurred at the very end of the evening. After these weird exchanges and targeted remarks, we were all very ready to leave. When he was bringing up the bill, he pointed at me directly and asked twice, “Where are you from?”. I should say that I was the only person of color in our table. After I told him, he said back, “I can tell YOU are not from around here”. When I asked why, he said that people on the Cape “look alike” and it was evident that I was different.
All in all, such a disappointing experience when just trying to enjoy a nice dinner at what seemed to be an excellent restaurant. Extremely sad for our party to have received such unfortunate, unprofessional, and inappropriate treatment from a member of this wait staff. What an ugly ending to a beautiful night at a restaurant with a stunning sunset view.
