Fryer is not gluten free so don't get anything that could be fried like the spare ribs. I have had fried rice, all noodle dishes, chicken and broccoli, green beans, and fresh rolls. no reactions and great flavor. Just doesn't offer dine in.
The whole menu looked amazing. I was with my husband who's gluten free and we were just wanting to share a snack. There were only a few GF options, so I'd love to come back and try many other things! We had the green papaya salad, a chicken skewer and sticky rice, mango desert. The skewer was ok, but the other two items amazing. Worth checking out!
A clean and comfortable shop with tons of gluten free options. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and shrimp pho while my fiancé got the beef pho, we both absolutely enjoyed our meals and they stayed hot even after having to take a quick stop before getting home. Broth was aromatic and flavorful and the portions were perfect. 10/10 would recommend if you're celiac and craving Vietnamese food.
This is a dangerous place for anyone with celiac disease. They have multiple items on their menu that is labeled gf but is made with gluten. I know this because servers have told me in confidence that, for example, the spicy tuna roll, is made with a small amount of soy sauce. I’ve also been told by servers that their ginger that they serve with gf dishes is not gf either. On top of all that, the last time I was there, the fish was old enough to give my partner and I diarrhea and stomach pain.
It’s been awhile to go there but an old favorite. Almost everything is gluten free naturally (except the Naan bread, and possibly a few other items). Very knowledgeable on gluten free items. Chicken Marcella (sp.?) was great as was the lamb. The owner is very personable and came table side to discuss the dishes. Service was superb, her name was Massa-hen (I think, but don’t know how to spell it). She was very friendly and attentive. Very good Chai tea and the spices were full but not overpowering. I got a 2 star heat and it was just perfect for me. Will probably be on our weekly rotation from now on!
I enjoyed the food a lot! We went on a busy Friday night and there were no tables available at that moment so we decided to take the option to sit at the bar. I was worried at the beginning that we would get overlooked at the bar in terms of service, thinking that the drinks would take priority, but that was not the case. The bartender was very nice and attentive and provided us with good service. The curry ramen with gluten free noodles was excellent and hit the spot on a rainy December night. My husband really enjoyed the Impossi-bao and gyoza. The Citrus Yuzu with Mint was some of the best mochi that I have had and my husband really enjoyed the chocolate habanero mochi as well. All in all, I can see why this place is busy on a rainy winter night, it's good food. I will try to make a reservation the next time that we stop by so I can try to get a table and be more cozy and happy while eating ramen. Thank you!
Was visiting the Tacoma area and was looking for a place to eat on Sunday evening that didn't close early. There were not too many places, but luckily found this place. There was no mention of gluten free items, but my partner called and spoke to someone who confirmed there was no gluten in the pho. It is located in a small plaza and the parking area was tight and pretty full. Luckily someone was just leaving so we got that spot. The restaurant is a cozy spot, not too fancy, but has a good atmosphere. They gave us menus and then told us that we order & pay at the counter. They have so many options on their menu, that it is a little overwhelming at first. I ended up getting the T4, which was teriyaki chicken, salad, white rice & an egg roll & my partner got the spicy tofu pho. Our food came out very quickly. The bowl of pho was huge and the teriyaki was a large portion also. It was all very good. The staff was busy the entire time, but was very friendly and patient. They checked on us once before we left. I thought it was a great spot and for the amount of food that you get, is very reasonable & the employees are friendly. I am sure we will be back in the future!!
New to Tacoma. Stopped here for dinner and OMG. I love this place! We had dinner and then ordered takeout so we could eat it tomorrow too😁 Everything we had was so good, and our server was amazing. I have celiac and our server knew the menu so we’ll, he was able to offer suggestions for me, and swap sauces on a couple of items so I could eat them. We intend to work our way through the menu! We definitely see this place becoming one of our favorites.
Excellent food. Incredible service. Outgoing owners are willing to go the extra mile to make your order just right. Knowledgable staff was very helpful when dealing with an allergy list. Lots of gluten free items. Have not been dissapointed after 4 visits. Brought my whole family through.
Ordered gluten free chicken pad Thai for my son and I. Order had very little chicken and also had tofu throughout, wasn't expecting tofu. My son didn't like his and didn't finish it. He's a 15 yo boy, if he doesn't finish a meal something isn't right. Won't be returning.
4.6!!!!
What else needs to be said. I asked and received gluten free chicken pad Thai. My service was quick, food was tasty and portion was just right. I would gladly eat here again.
One beautiful young entrepreneur is running the entire establishment. Her demeanor and pleasantness made the visit even more enjoyable. I have attached pictures have a look. Follow me to see more reviews. Thanks.
