Most amazing gluten free bread, pastries and sweets I’ve ever eaten. Owners take time to know their customers and all staff are lovely. I could not recommend this place enough. I’ve been going for 2 years and travel 2 hours to refill bread and treats
Saturday night date night with hubby. Wanted to try Onda as I am Coeliac. This 100% Certified Coeliac gluten free restaurant is one of the best. The food was delicious amazing. Service attention to detail was fantastic. We had the feed me menu and it was amazing. Now need to come back to try the rest of the dishes. Great experience. Thank you for a great night.
Rick's place is an absolute gem!
We recently visited and had the most amazing night!
The food was exceptional with delicious options that cater for lots of different dietary requirements.
We needed gluten, dairy and onion free, and had the first dining experience where this was "too easy" and we felt like the inclusion and not exclusion.
Rick and Andy are warm, friendly, attentive and genuinely thoughtful, making us all feel so welcome. They take so much pride in providing a fantastic dining experience for all.
Couldn't recommend Rick's Place enough!
Looking forward to our next visit!
Whilst it is expensive, the bread is beautiful, along with the pasties.
The sausage rolls are good just a little oily. Cakes are like I remember them when I wasn't a coeliac.
Ordered the food via phone than online. Easier to call as the online app was a little weird but that could of been the phone. The gf grilled Barra was really nice but the normal calami and prawns were over cooked/fried. We like the chips to. Are at the beach.
Perfect place for all gluten free people and their friends. Food is amazing and even coeliac friendly. Suitable for everyday meal or special occasion. We vere very happy to decide to have our special dinner here.
Cute little place, defiantly book if wanting a table inside as small sitting area
Very cosy and well priced for the quality of the food is out of this world!! Will defiantly be heading back
As someone with coeliac disease, I felt so comfortable speaking with the lady at the register who I think was the owner. She took me through what they have that is gluten free and coeliac safe, spoke to me about the seperate fryer without me asking and the food was delicious! We travelled 30 minutes to come here after reading reviews and were not disappointed. I haven’t had charcoal chicken in over 5 years since being diagnosed and am so incredibly happy to find somewhere that is delicious and safe! We will be back! The only thing I’ll say is it would be nice if there was a gluten free gravy but I’m so happy with the options that are available! :)
Delicious and Gluten Free available -with separate fryer !
Cleanest fish and chip shop I’ve ever seen! Smiling friendly staff ! Found this gem online looking for a GF meal after a day on the peninsula ! Will definitely be returning . Highly recommended 10/10 Ordered flake, scallops, dimsim , potato cake , chips and fried pineapple all very tasty and fresh !
As always, amazing food and great service!! Excellent vegetarian and GF options as well great care taken to cater for my family member with coeliac disease.
Waitress was very thorough clarifying dietary requirements for gluten free Southern Fried chicken & chips pack. I had asked for chicken salt on my chips but they were not salted and were not as crispy as I would have liked. The chicken however was so delicious, it was offered as a 3 piece pack but to my surprise they gave 4 pieces. Even my hubby who isn't coeliac was impressed with the chicken and said it was better than the Colonel's version 😆
TLDR: amazing service, quality food with good portions, well trained staff, able to accommodate many dietary requirements and accommodate different budgets.

My most recent visit was my fourth time dining at Chin Chin, this time it was with work colleagues for a Christmas lunch.
The food was delicious as per usual, and it is worth noting that despite the fact that the restaurant was absolutely packed and insanely busy, all of our dietary requirements were met without fail (lactose intolerance, gluten intolerance).
In terms of cuisine you wont find anything “traditional” at Chin Chin, it is Asian fusion at its finest, but everything is well thought out, well balanced and also fun.
The service was excellent with the staff explaining each dish, making sure our drinks were topped up, checking in with us in between courses and even taking the time to have a quick chat with our table. Additionally when I passed by the kitchen it was very clear that they had their communication locked down.
Always a pleasure to dine here.
Mission District serves hands down the best Mexican food I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating, ever! There was seriously not a single thing that we ordered that I disliked, as everything was irrefutably DE! LI! CIOUS!
This place now holds a special place in my heart because it’s where I ate a burrito (Yes, a BURRITO! NOT a burrito bowl! — Fellow coeliacs, iykyk) for the first time in my life and honestly, I absolutely, totally get the craze now! 🤤🤤🤤
Furthermore, the fact that the restaurant is accredited by Coeliac Australia is a monumental bonus which negates the typical dining out anxiety.
The venue has some cute decor choices— not something I typically mention in my reviews but couldn’t help but compliment anyway. The service staff were very friendly too, which is one of the many, many awesome things about this place.
Mission District is most definitely and officially my top place for Mexican now for sure; there’s really no other place that compares!
GF friends, look no further for your lunch or dinner in St Kilda!!
Absolute gluten free taco perfection! *please note - I do not say this lightly*
We had the beef, pork and fish tacos, and I honestly can’t tell you which was my favourite! Full of flavour. The fish was probably the best fish taco I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot of tacos) haha
The owner, chef, bartender and overall awesome guy, Peter is worth just popping in to have a chat with if you’re not hungry! Grab their new house GF beer, and if you’re feeling brave - maybe have a boogie on the dance floor!
Thank you so much for a lovely experience, tasty food and great chat. We will definitely be back soon.
This is not the first time we’ve been here - our previous visit for a birthday celebration was amazing and we were very keen to return.
This time was to celebrate our wedding anniversary - booking online we asked to be seated in the balcony if available. This was ignored, even though there were plenty of free tables on the balcony and being a Monday night it wasn’t particularly busy. When we asked about it afterwards, we were dismissed with “it was wet today” even though there are blinds protecting the area and the rain had cleared by lunchtime, plus other people were sitting out there.
The food was as delicious as we remembered, and their ability to cater for gluten free outstanding.
The lady who served us was lovely…when she was waiting on us. However the general service was appalling this time around. We waited close to 15 minutes before we were even given a menu. Throughout the evening we witnessed other tables being looked after very well, being served before us, finished their meal before us even though they came in much later than our booking. Our waitress was topping up other tables’ water then not even checking our glasses. Our meals sat on the middle serving table waiting to be dished up for long enough for them to be lukewarm, and our dessert ice cream melting. At the end of our meal we didn’t get any hot towels (every other table we watched did). Overall we felt very invisible and ignored.
The table behind us had 4 businessmen who had had far too much to drink, being very loud with extremely inappropriate language - swearing their heads off. Saying quite inappropriate derogatory comments.
At the end of our meal (that took 2 hours and 40 minutes to get through because of the lack of service), Simon (we assume the manager) brought over the eftpos machine and almost insisted we give a tip (in Australia a tip is not customary). When we said not today, he appeared annoyed and when we mentioned the behaviour of the table behind us, he was very dismissive and didn’t seem to care.
Overall, not a great experience this time and disappointing given our previous experience.
I have been with a group of friends there twice, I am celiac and I have not had any problems eating, the girl who served us very kindly explained to us that everything was gluten-free. The food was delicious and in terms of quality and price it was great. I totally recommend this site.

I popped in tonite and ordered the brisket, but I'm gluten and dairy free, the staff were fantastic it turns out for once dairy was a bigger issue than gluten (all options marked and a seperate fryer) but they swapped it over for steak. Which was safe and delicious. Thanks so much

Great place in ballarat for anything you want . Also have quite a few things gluten free on the menu. Wonderful place having a meal looking over the lake.
Had a great International Tiara Day. Staff were soooo, accommodating! Food was delicious...even the Gluten/Dairy free HighTea.
Thanks again👸👸👸🤴🤴🤴Maria.B.
Very lovely staff and service, I had the delight of a gluten-free, dairy-free, sausage roll. You would not have guessed given how crispy the pastry and juicy and flavoursome the sausage...
