Delicious latte and double chocolate donut for under $10. You don't miss the dairy or gluten in any of their products. The donut was soft and moist with decadent chocolate frosting. Haven't tried the breads yet, I'll try to update later, but they definitely pass the squish test, springing right back just like a glutenful item. I also got myself a birthday cupcake :) vegan cream cheese frosting was amazing! You've got a try the savory monkey bread. Highly recommend

What a charming and delicious gluten free bakery. The lattes are two thumbs up as well. Whether it’s sweet or savory, I haven’t found something here I didn’t like or wasn’t so pleasantly surprised out how yummy the gluten free fare is that I selected any given visit. Go here. Order gluten free and give them your money. Such a treat to eat from a gluten free kitchen. The service is terrific as well. Good job Hold the Wheat!

We've been here quite a few times and we're bringing the whole family for this trip. There was concern about gluten as another person posted that they changed their menu. I called and talked to the restaurant, and they stated they have 4 new sandwiches on the menu that contain gluten, but they are prepared away from the other items in their kitchen, and they are very diligent about cross contamination. This is important as we have celiac folks in our party. Everyone loved it, everyone ate every bit of it, and everyone is happy. And the horchatta rice crispy bar is insane.

TL;DR - Substantial drop in food quality and service. I can't imagine myself visiting this location again, and you shouldn't imagine yourself going here either. Pizza Luce has always been a place I could rely on for great food and service, but my most recent visit was incredibly disappointing. During my visit I got a Breggfast pizza to eat there, and Gluten Free Bruscetta to go; both were entirely disappointing. Pizza - I got the Breggfast pizza with their Buffa-Luce sauce... well, at least that's what I ordered. What I got was a pizza crust with some ingredients on it, but no sauce. When I mentioned it to the waiter, he told me it was there. I restated that in fact, no, it was not, and showed him the pizza, and he informed me that I was incorrect and it was there, and then just walked away without another word. So apparently as far as this waiter was concerned, I'm blind and have no taste buds. Gluten Free Bruscetta - Oh, I'm sorry, did I say Bruscetta, I meant the cheapest, most terrible gluten free hamburger buns you can find. Pizza Luce's GF Bruscetta used to be, hands down, the best around. I believe they got the bread from a local bakery and perhaps they aren't around any longer, but if you can't find a good alternative, then just don't have any. If I had to guess, they just use Schar hamburger buns, though that feels like an insult to Shar. These were terrible; they tasted like cardboard and were soggy. Pizza Luce was always a safe bet when I was in the area, for both Pizza and gluten free items, but this visit was a joke, and an expensive one at that.

Like several other recent reviewers, I saw mice running through the restaurant/under booths in the middle of the afternoon while I was there. I told the server about the mice and they said they'd tell the manager. Although I had already lost my appetite by then, the entire back of the restaurant was suddenly filled with the smell of an extremely pungent peppermint-scented disinfectant (or at least that's what I guessed?). I was with two other people and all of us felt like it was irritating our noses and throats. It was so strong that it overwhelmed any other scent/taste. I asked the server if what we were smelling was disinfectant (they said yes) and if we could move to the front of the restaurant to get away from the strong smell. Later I emailed the manager about the incident and he claimed he didn't have any idea what I could be referring to. There's clearly an ongoing mouse problem (just look at other reviews from the past few months) and I learned that strong peppermint oil is used as mice deterrent/repellent. This used to be a go-to place for me, since they have a menu that offers a lot of options for someone with celiac disease, but I don't think I can stomach going back now.

This hole in the wall is an amazing find. The entire menu is gluten-free. They offer several DF dishes as well. You order as the counter, and then they bring it to your table. The service is really good and they provide carafe of water for the table. They are spot on with refills. The only down side is the parking. It's all on street. There is patio and indoor seating. It's rare to find a restaurant that has more than one dish my wife can have with her dietary restrictions. Brim has several. It was great seeing her gitty looking at a menu.

This Bakery is amazing! Not just the gluten free food, but the great prices and the super friendly staff. They go above and beyond. I live in Minneapolis and spend quite a bit time in the St. Cloud Area. This is my 1st stop when I get to town. This is a great oasis for the gluten free community. I can't wait to visit again. Walking in off the street I genuinely gasped when I realized *all* the offerings on the menu board were gluten-free -- I'm a newcomer to dietary restrictions (gluten-free/dairy-free) and it's been a tough journey but I love this place and I'm excited to come back again. The staff were really well-informed about food allergies/finding options that met my specific needs, and it's got a great classic neighborhood bakery feel. The muffins are wonderful but the baguettes are really next level good.

Always the best food. Very large place with a beautiful patio. It is one of my favorite places to go. Everything is always good. Only took a photo of my item last night which was the shroom burger. Beautiful baguette and tasty cheeses to make it the perfect burger. Friends had a poke bowl, Salad and another burger. My friend needed Gluten Free and they were helpful. At the bar they also have THC drinks 🍹 One of my favorite places to get wings. Also one of my favorite appetizers is the Ahi Tuna Crisp. Servers will help you makes choices if you have not been here. Friendly staff! This is a great option in the North Loop.

Absolutely wonderful experience overall. They have plenty of options for most, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free (vegan/gluten free) being hard to find. The atmosphere and view of the lake were great as well. Very clean, nice bathrooms, friendly staff, book adoption for small price, and a dietary restriction diverse pastry selection too! We will definitely be coming back.

We just visited on our vacation to the North Shore. We were blown away by this great pizza restaurant! We started with the garlic cheese toast. I believe it had cilantro on top which was delicious. There was a hearty serving of marinara included, and it was only $1 to add another marinara. My daughter ordered the spinach salad - it had a great balance of savory and sweet, and was a good-sized portion. I ordered the Hulapeño pizza. I don't like pineapple on pizza, so I requested it removed, however when it showed up at the table it was included. I was really hungry from a full day of hiking, and didn't want to wait for another pizza to be made. It was so delicious with the pineapple! The real star, though, was the Hot Honey - I couldn't get enough of it! Who thought that would be great with pizza?? Such a delicious combo!! I have a vegetarian son, and we were astounded by all of the vegetarian options available! Vegan bacon, sausage, pepperoni, and more. Also there were vegan cheese available and gluten-free options. I felt that the variety was more than any restaurant in the much larger city we're from! The atmosphere inside was great. Lots of outstanding local art on the walls to enjoy and available for purchase. A really cool avocado table for big groups. And you can watch them toss pizza crust while you're sitting at a table, which is always fun. The area outside was the only place I felt a little unsafe on our travels, and I skirted the kids away after one Pokemon Go battle. This restaurant is definitely on my list when we return to Duluth!

Hen House Eatery has the feel of an old-time diner, but it is so much more. It has many food choices, and the gluten-free accommodation worked for me. I would definitely eat there again the next time I'm in Minneapolis.

I got sick after eating here, but it may have been from the coffeeshop I went to beforehand (Royal Grounds). Pros: I was very impressed with the menu- lots of GF options and easy to navigate. The pizza was delicious although the crust was average. The watermelon salad was great. Three different GF dessert options but I was too full to try any! Cons: The bruschetta was bad- just a pile of diced tomatoes with some shaved parm, and two bad GF dinner rolls. I asked for some balsamic vinegar to dress it and was told they didn’t have it. A total waste of $12. Lemonade was supposed to have free refills but I never got any. My order ticket gets weirder the more I look at it. First I’m glad that they put in so many allergy alerts. But they say “ALLERGIC TO WHEAT” which is wrong. I told the server “I have a gluten allergy.” So they lost some trust there. And why is every allergy alert on my ticket different? Is the server typing them in manually? If I lived nearby I might try them a second time, but since I would be traveling to Minneapolis I will try a different place next time.

This Pizza Lucé location is very clean, accommodating and has friendly staff. Bathroom and Dining areas all well kept and presentable. A great dining spot for anyone, especially with being able to make pizzas half & half. (My sister and I spilt a pepperoni and elote pizza, My mother got the Gluten Free Greek Pizza!) There are several vegetarian options as well, We tried the Greek salad, it was phenomenal! I highly recommend coming here!

So here's the thing, it's a great spot, and if you dine in, the food is pretty good. They hand-pour cherry Coke on request and take pride in their beer offerings, too. Twin Cities natives LOVE them their local Pizza Luce. BUT - and it's a BIG but (sans Sir Mix-a-Lot) - I got nasty food poisoning from their chicken wings last year, and haven't been able to look at chicken wings since. They also have a problem remembering to add extra cheese on their pizza when you order online. Has happened several times when I've ordered delivery as well as pick-up. Both of these issues are specific to the Roseville location. On the other hand, Katie at the Selby location in St Paul is wonderful if you're lucky enough to be in her service. I was there last week with a VERY diverse group of people - there were about 10 of us - and she was great. She was even juggling a late Friday night when the carbonation ran out at the bar, so no carbonated drinks. They also ran out of their summer special pizza (Taco Supreme), and the kitchen dropped one of our orders. Katie was pleasant, kind, generous, on top of it. She handled her business, as we say in NYC, amidst the chaos. Kudos to you, Katie. I hope you -and your corporate boss - see this review, because you're the reason I will continue to recommend Pizza Luce despite clear ops issues. The vegan meatballs are pretty good, and even have a fire-seared flavor to them that's unexpected in vegan products. I happen to be an omnivore, and also tried the meat meatballs, which are also quite good - though I don't recommend mixing and matching. Generally, the pizzas are super yum, but have a thin, crispy crust, fyi. Also important: they have a pretty good gluten-free selection, including the pizzas. I recommend asking about spiciness if you have sensitivity to burning foods, though. Not everything with "kick" is labeled on the menu. So, after all of that, I still go. I still recommend them. Just know that there may be a learning curve, so I also recommend you go with locals the first few times if you're a traveler or a transplant. Cheers

We came on a weekday for lunch and it wasn't crowded at all. The outdoor semi-covered patio in the back was super nice and the food was wonderful. Gluten friendly items are clearly marked on the menu, and there is cross contamination. Buffalo cauliflower and vegan ranch was to die for! I also had the curry with cauliflower rice and chicken and it was super tasty.

The Red Cow has delicious fare and great service. I was part of a group of four. They have a dedicated gluten-free fryer, so all the fried potato dishes (e.g. french fries, sweet potato fries, etc.) can be made gluten-free (and oat-free).

Definitely try their hot tea..(I don't like tea lol) but loved this!! Also plenty of gluten-free options. The cashew chicken salad sandwich is quite tasty, and yes they have Gluten-free bread, a very big sandwich and options to order half is all I needed. Suggestion not to go during the noon hour. (Busy).

Chimborazo continues to be one of my favorite go to restaurants in the cities! Their food is delicious, with unique flavors and just phenomenal Ecuadorian cuisine. I dream about the mahi mahi encocado and ceviche 🤤 I especially appreciate that they have so many options for someone who is gluten free and lots of good pescatarian options too! Their service is always fast and they’re always incredibly kind! Highly recommend.

Had a supreme experience at Brasa. Jacob took excellent care of us, including with my food allergies. Labelled on their paper allergen menu are major allergens, gluten, garlic/onion/nightshades/cilantro, and even GMO-free. With my egg and nut allergy, I had the vegetarian curry bowl (which is vegan, in fact) as well as rice and beans. Delicious! And on a quiet Monday, it only took about ten minutes to get the food. Lovely outdoor patio and quick service are a wonderful combination! And we're still raving about how great host Jacob is. Will be back!

Makes her happy for the next few days. Super friendly and helpful staff that goes above and beyond in service. Note that they close around 2pm. Parking is OK but can get tight. Highly recommended and we will be back for sure.

The Gluten-free options are absolutely amazing and the care put into preventing cross contamination is perfect for those with celiac's disease. But the service has been subpar the last few times I've eaten there. Yesterday I was told by my Waitress that I wasn't allowed to customize my omelet because "all the omelets are premixed, so you can't substitute the mushrooms with sun-dried tomatoes." When I pressed that I haven't ever been told that I couldn't customize the omelets, she then switched to saying that it's not possible to input substitutions into the ordering device. So I calmly suggest she ask another server how to input substitutions on her device. Instead of asking someone to show her, she just had someone else take my order. She didn't seem to want to learn how to do her job at all. She also didn't bring any water to the table nor did she ask what tea I wanted. She literally chose the tea for me without asking what kind I wanted, and when I told her I wanted the herbal tea not the black tea, she tried to pass off Earl Grey as herbal. I told her again "No, I want the herbal tea, it's the orange one".

Amazing food! From the Ham and Apple Panini with brown sugar cinnamon mayo and the sweet potato mash to the Greek Quinoa salad with homemade hummus and lemon dill sauce to the Double Chocolate Cake- everything was scrumptious and fresh. I especially appreciated that everything was or could be gluten-free. Not just “switch to cheap gluten free bread” but rich, flavorful cuisine that is intentionally inclusive for vegans and gluten free folks. The service was attentive and the atmosphere lends itself to conversation. Definitely on our list to visit again!

The first time I had Hazelwood was in 2021, then I used to go regularly in 2022 and they had changed their menu, then I came back in 2023 and they had changed it again. Unfortunately, both times they had gotten rid of what we came for, but it was my favorite place so I would always try to pick something again. At this point, though, the only thing left for me is the dessert, and while it seems that’s never going away and I can’t recommend it enough, it makes me the odd one out at work meetings. I praise them for their gluten free options and their ability to make me- the biggest bread pudding lover of all time- order the banana creme pie when i’m there though. The bread pudding is splendid as well, I recommend the dessert sampler, that’s just how good the pie is.

We were looking for a breakfast place as we drove up to Duluth early and this place came up with a 4.8 star rating. All I can say is that it deserves that rating. Great service and food. I loved that the menu labeled gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options! The woman serving us was super awesome and between her and other servers they made sure our coffee and water were filled when they got low. It's rare finding places this good, especially on the fly.

BEST experience, all the way around! Brisket was flavorful and DELICIOUS; dipping sauce options were varied, house-made, and tasty; my dietary-delicate husband was able to get a phenomenal burger on a gluten-free bun; sides were unique and mouthwatering (I tried the hush puppies, pecan-topped sweet potatoes, and my husband's fries); and the drinks were excellent - SO MANY bourbon options! We requested to sit on the patio. It was peaceful and the atmosphere was stellar. I cannot recommend this place enough. If I am ever in Duluth again, I'm going back to try the pulled pork. My only complaint is that it said on the menu that gluten-free buns would not be an additional charge, but they did charge us a few dollars extra for it. I think because we told them not to worry about cross-contamination? Lucky for them, everything else was 6/5 stars.

Our server was very friendly, just not super attentive. Sat many times waiting for a drink refill. That being said, as a Gluten Free gal, they have MANY options. The tacos were amazing. My friend got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and wasn’t impressed as it tasted more like curry sauce.

Great atmosphere inside and out. MVK patio is very dog-friendly. Service is friendly and fast. Our server wasn’t very knowledgeable about vegan options. We ordered the only vegan main course, ratatouille. Unfortunately, the vegetables were under cooked and the seasoning wasn’t anything special. The tahini carrots were also undercooked. The spring rolls are premade, so lacked the chewiness of fresh rolls - and cannot be ordered without cilantro 😖 We did enjoy our drinks and the vegan/vegetarian slider that was on HH special was very good… just wish they offered it on a gluten bun. Overall, we wouldn’t recommend MVK for vegan fare, BUT I do recommend if you are looking for an attractive, dog-friendly patio with good drinks, friendly service and a social crowd.
