True Food Kitchen is at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. The ambiance feels like a calm escape from the busy Las Vegas Strip, with a bar and a comfortable dining area.
I chose to eat here as the menu focuses on healthy American cuisine with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. I ordered tuna poke bowl in black rice. It was very flavorful. Tuna poke was fresh. They also serve salmon bowl, avocado toast, and vegan items like the Teriyaki Quinoa Bowl.
Staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming and will go out of their way to make guests feel special. Prices are reasonable for the quality, especially considering the location. Most entrees are under $30, and portions are generous.
We had the table side salsa and chips as an appetizer—good but would try a different appetizer next time. We then had the short rib and the lamb birria—phenomenal. Wonderful flavor combinations on both. Tender meats, bold sauces. We finished it off with the Tres leches cake—wonderful end to the evening if you like coconut! The service was absolutely wonderful too, although the hostess could be more welcoming. I would highly recommend eating here. Absolutely perfect for a gluten free meal too.
Paul P… was the best! We highly recommend him as server extraordinaire! He was great with our large party and very knowledgeable about the menu which is a bonus for us celiac folks.

Deanza gave us the best customer service of our trip to Vegas she is so personable and quick, just the best. This place has saved my butt so many times. I’ve had restaurants not seat me for 30 mins after my rez time and I just say forget it and come here. Gluten free labels on the menu a huge plus. Forget the steak come to Nacho Daddy and get some bomb carnitas nachos.
Great options for food allergies. The gluten free lasagna and chocolate chip cookie were great. The staff was great excellent service and very friendly.
The vibe in here is so cute. They have these little tents outside and it makes it super private. The cocktails are amazing. They don’t have a lot of gluten free options but what they do have is soooo yummy. The chef and servers make sure they are respecting dietary restrictions
This was a delight. A fun environment, pleasant staff, and delicious menu - (with tasty gluten free options!) We tried several different dishes, the Brioche French Toast was the favorite. We will be going back!
I’ve had the pleasure of eating here 2 times now. The 2nd time was largely due to my friend’s gluten allergy and a lot of their menu is Gluten Free. The food is amazing, I particularly love the Spicy Pork Bulgogi. Don’t skip on trying the Soju. Christine has been our server both times and she’s really fun and knowledgeable. Highly recommend giving this place a shot.

Awesome food and service by all of the staff. Great communication and knowledge of the menu and dietary requirements. Very friendly and welcoming, which makes you want to go back again. Food great with fantastic pizzas and salads. The cauliflower crust on the Gluten Free pizzas was very tasty with a perfect crunch and texture.
Everything about this place is amazing. For starters the food is some of the best fancy vegan food we ever had. We had the gluten free truffle pasta which was one of the more amazing dishes. Service was great. Atmosphere very refreshing as a little calmer in the bustle of vegas. Small thing but also nice you didn’t have to trek through the labyrinth of a large hotel to get there. It was right near the entrance. Cocktails also were amazing and the staff really attentive.
What an experience! So I’m celiac and ordering is always nerve racking but not here(: our server(Yadi) was super understanding and reassuring that our food would be completely GF, the manager was the one who brought out our food, she made sure the whole process was done without cross-contamination! Couldn’t be more appreciative of the service here!!
We had a wonderful dinner here for a third year anniversary. Every person who worked there told us happy anniversary and gave us the best treatment. Alex was a wonderful waiter and they even have gluten-free options. Best food and steak! They are very accomodating!
I decided to visit my favorite restaurant once again today!! I ordered my favorite gluten free barbecue chicken pizza, california cobb salad, gluten free pizza dough as my appetizer and delicious ice tea.
I had a very attentive waiter named Taz, which was an amazing waiter, got everything correctly, and went above and beyond, for my gluten allergy that I suffer from, making sure that everything I ate, was safe for me. The food is so delicious and it's a very fun atmosphere. And I kick out of watching the robot kitty go by which is very entertaining to me. So very cute with the different themed costumes that they dress, the robot up in. I will definitely be back again.Probably next month to visit the location at the downtown summer mall. Keep up the awesome work i look forward coming back once again
Fantastic spot for...well, Tacos and Beer! I suppose I wouldn't know about the beer, having a gluten allergy, but speaking of which they are very accommodating and have many options for dietary restrictions.
So no review on the beer, but they make their cocktails very well, not too strong but also not cheaping out on the drink, a great balance.
This has become my regular weekend dinner spot, absolutely love this place.
This is probably an odd take on the score but we had a nightmare of an experience after we ate here. We had a large group for an engagement party. The service was fantastic. For the gluten tolerant people of the group, the pizza was fantastic. For the gluten intolerant, We were told that they were able to make gluten free pizza. This sounded like a great option, we ate and had a great time, the after effects were horrible. This was one of the worst flair ups from gluten that I have ever seen my wife have. Also, one of the children of the group has just recently been diagnosed with celiac and she was deal with the same issue. Aleworx should not be claiming gluten free pizza if it is not truly gluten free.
We stumbled into this place by fate (we booked the wrong restaurant) BUT we were meant to be at this restaurant. The food is phenomenal. The steak will melt in your mouth. I have dietary restrictions (gluten free) and they had no issues accommodating me. Everyone there is so kind and personal including the pianist. Our waiter was the highlight of our night. This place is a hidden gem. This place checks all the boxes- live music, good food, romance, ambience, elegance, and GREAT service. We will be back and we are planning an event here. Thank you for an incredible dinner experience!

Service was flawless, the food was delicious, and the drinks were amazing. They were able to accommodate my gluten and dairy allergies. I recommend the Taco Belle, sashimi platter, cucumber salad, and Lychee Martini.

GLUTEN-FREE FRIED CHICKEN!! I don't know any other places in Reno with GF fried chicken! I could just stop my review there ;)
I've never actually written a review for Centro because I was always underwhelmed by the food and the gluten-free options were minimal. This was despite going there occasionally because the space is so cozy and cute and the location convenient.
However, I learned that there is a new owner/Chef and the menu has evolved for the better! While keeping some of the things that were always there. There are so many gluten-free choices now because the fryer is 100% GF and they are using cornstarch and GF flour! There is some hidden soy in a few things but the Chef is super knowledgeable.
Everything we had was amazing and I can't wait to go back to try everything. I'm excited about all these things that are GF (there are others too): Fried Chicken, Fried Artichokes, Brussel sprouts, the Pan fried Corvina with rice cakes and bokchoy, grilled octopus, roasted harissa carrots, hamachi, lemon tart, and almond cake. Sounds like the menu changes frequently so these exact things might not be there and the menu isn't marked Gluten Free because of the frequent changes. But I'm guessing it will all be as good and its easy to ask!
Great food. Menu is super friendly for gluten free. Joel, our server was great, well informed on the menu when it came to allergies. Creative cocktails. Looking forward to next time!
Great spot for the family. There’s a kids section, great food, cocktails, and beer. Gluten-free options too, but the pizza is at risk of cross contamination, though the crust is awesome if you want to risk it. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer and amazing fries. Be sure to let them know if you have allergies or Celiac so that they can note it down and help you order.
Made a reservation for dinner downtown on the fly. We have been here once before and really enjoyed it. We arrived on time and were greeted by our friendly wait staff and we were seated right away. Our server was attentive and outgoing. He was a pleasure to work with. I started with the beet salad And my wife had bacon wrapped dates. These appetizers did not disappoint. Good size portions and extremely delicious. For dinner, I enjoyed the filet mignon with shrimp and my wife had the short ribs. The meat was tender and juicy and of a five-star quality. The wine list was excellent quality and still affordable. They also offered gluten-free options! I highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant/bar when in downtown Reno!
Excellent large portioned breakfast. I asked for gluten free toast as a non-symptomatic celiac and they gave me a thoughtful run through of cross contamination issues and what they recommend I stayed away from.
Went for breakfast. Tons of options. Hashbrowns are gluten free. Got an omelette. Server offered corn tortillas instead of bread. Loved it. They’re super knowledgeable.
We went on a Saturday for a friend's birthday party and it was great! The hostess had the party information and we were immediately seated. I am plant-based and I was surprised at the vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. I ordered the smoked portabello mushrooms, and they were delicious. Smoky, good texture, and filling. I would never think to put barbecue sauce with mushrooms, but any of the sauces on the table taste great with them. I got the corn bread as my side, and it was one of the best sides of corn bread I have ever had! Someone at the table ordered the crispy Brussel Sprouts, and that was unexpectedly delicious 😋. Good atmosphere, great food, and good service.
This is my favorite place to grab a drink and relax! My kids love to play outside at the bocce court while my husband and I enjoy the patio. The giant TV is great for catching a big game with friends. The taps are always changing and usually offer gluten free options as well as cocktails on tap. But my favorite is a Paloma from the bar. The bartender on trivia night, KJ, is always so friendly and helpful.

The young lady behind the bar was excellent. She was happy to offer samples and suggestions. Costa Oeste was a great West Coast IPA. My wife, trying to stay gluten-free, enjoyed their cider. Nothing ostentatious here, just a comfortable place to enjoy fantastic beer and service.

It took 10 minutes for us to be greeted by a server despite there being only 5 other parties in the entire restaurant. It then took at least another 15 minutes before our drinks were brought to the table. (The ice water we ordered was brought out 5 minutes after our bar drinks). Two out of the three drinks we were served were incorrect (we ordered captain and coke but were served Jameson and coke).
Members of our party have food allergies including a gluten allergy. There are very limited options for people with gluten allergies on the menu. The Yukon mashed potatoes needed to be made special since they apparently add flour to them (?). The mashed potatoes tasted artificial like they came out of a box. They did not have the silky, full flavor I’ve come to expect from mashed potatoes at high-end steak houses in town. The only saving grace was the steaks and salmon were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. I know it was a great steak because I cut it with a butter knife since our server never brought steak knives to the table.
In summary, the mains were fantastic, the sides left something to be desired, and the service was questionable. I’ll be choosing a different steakhouse for dinner next time I go to the strip.
