Great place for seafood and Gluten Free dining. We went for dinner and lunch both. The servers were fun and personable but they can be a little slow. It's worth it though. The food was great and there are numerous GF options.
They were stellar from the moment we walked in. They had my mind at ease immediately assuring me they donβt even bring gluten into the building. The food was amazing it felt like a 5 star dining experience. The whole menu being gluten free and without worries of cross contamination it was a fantastic experience with food and service. I will be returning for all of my events worth celebrating. Not to mention a full side menu of mocktails π
Overpriced, low end of mediocre food served quickly in a blandly functional atmosphere reminiscent of a generic hotel breakfast lounge.
Went here for breakfast. The food was... Not great. For a place called Biscuits and Waffles, we expected the biscuits and waffles to be pretty good. We were disappointed.
My waffle was merely bland and spongy, soaking up the maple syrup cup without really changing the flavor. Inoffensive, but not exactly bad. The bacon I had with it was a bit overcooked, but again, inoffensive.
My friend's biscuit and egg, however, was apparently rather unpleasant*. It was basically dry bread that tasted like too much baking soda in a vague biscuit shape. The egg was all right, nothing special.
*Apparently their biscuits are gluten free, so maybe that's just what those are like. I don't know.
All in all, it's far from the worst breakfast I've ever had, but I've also had much better at the same price point.
This restaurant is a real gem! I have two sons that have Celica's disease. It is very hard to find true gluten free restaurants. From the moment we stepped in, the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about gluten-free options. The menu was extensive, with clearly labeled dishes, and we were able to create a fantastic meal. Even the dessert was a showstopper. The food was flavorful and delicious, and we left feeling satisfied and impressed. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that has Celica's Disease.
A gluten-free paradise! 99% of their offerings are gluten free and they take everything very seriously. On top of that, the food is DELICIOUS, even my non-gf friends were impressed.
I ordered a cake for my daughterβs baby shower. Shanna was terrific! I sent her a photo of our art style, and let her do her thing. The finished result was literally a work of art. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was delicious, moist and fluffy. We chose two flavors, mocha and vanilla. The fondant was perfect. Several of our guests commented that though they had never liked fondant before, they loved this.
No one could believe it was all gluten free.
Corbinβs is pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for.
Had to wait a few minutes to get seated as they were busy. Obviously popular so that's good. Lots of gluten free and vegan options which were clearly marked on the menu and much appreciated. The food was delicious and the staff helpful and friendly.
Have previously loved their gluten free pizza, but ordered it for delivery tonight and got 2 very thin, small pizzas with some anemic little bits of sausage and toppings for $50.. Won't be ordering from here any more.
SO MANY GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS!!! I adore Pinkyβs they have a very up beat and fun vibe to them but also some I impeccable food with a large variety of options! Iβve been enjoying their brunch for years but I recently went for dinner with a girl friend of mine and to no shock their dinner menu is just as perfect as their brunch!
Delivery was a little pricy but worth every penny! I ordered a gluten free 3 piece and I had never had creamed kale before! Everything was absolutely amazing! So delicious and I can't wait to order from here again.
My gluten free family was so happy to find a new gluten free bakery in our travels. Delicious treats (especially the pepperoni rolls) and great prices. We have found our new spot to visit every time we are in the area. π Hopefully next time we can dine in and enjoy the awesome ambience of the restaurant.
Came here on Valentineβs Day. My server Lexi made sure my meals would be shellfish and gluten free. Also love how many gluten free options there are too. I had the devils pass dip which was so flavorful and had the cheeseburger which was good too. Also tried the chocolate decadence which is gluten free too, very rich chocolate flavor
GF waffle was meh. I have celiac so I am judging in comparison to GF foods purely. The cheese had a crust on it like it was American cheese that had been overcooked and the peppers were cooked somehow such that the skin was still super tough but the meat was mush. The service was also quite slow. The savory choice didn't work out. I do not appear to have been glutened however, so a star is earned back for that.
Absolutely fantastic restaurant! My partner has celiac and they have a full gluten free menu. We go at least once a month. I highly recommend for ANYONE!
This place has some positives, but my experience overall was disappointing. The atmosphere was nice, with a spacious bar area and a great beer selection that supports local breweries, which I really appreciated. However, the food and cleanliness left a lot to be desired.
The French dip was a letdown β dry, with an odd choice of American cheese instead of the usual provolone or Swiss, and while mushrooms were included, which I know some places do, theyβre not my preference. Overall, the sandwich just wasnβt good. The potato skins were also subpar, barely a 2 out of 5. On the other hand, the mac and cheese was pretty good, and my kid enjoyed it.
There were some cleanliness issues. I found a small fleck of lint or hair on my cup, and I noticed the bartender using her bare hands to pick a lemon seed off the side of a glass while making water for another guest. These details were off-putting and made me feel a bit skeeved.
While they do offer gluten-free options and a great beer selection, the food quality, service, and overall experience werenβt quite worth the price.
I was referred here because they have clean food and I wasnβt disappointed! I wish they would get grass fed grass finished option for the meat but the organic wild caught salmon and free range clean chicken were great!
They have gluten free beer!
Service was amazing!
Great flexible eating offering lots of gluten free options. Turkey burger was dry but flavorful. Glazed salmon was fantastic. Pork buns were rich, smokey, spiced and delicious.
After several poor attempts at gluten free eats, we finally made it to Whiskey Kitchen. First of all a Celiac heaven. I had crab cakes, which were amazing, fries (they have a dedicated fryer) and slaw. My fiance is from the DMV and had the crab cakes as well. He said they were true crab cakes and the best heβs had in a long time. We didnβt get dessert because our meals were huge. If you have Celiac or gluten intolerance, this is the best place in Virginia Beach.
My wife found this because she's gluten-free. By far one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. I don't think I could've finished my meal fast enough
Bruhhhhhh!!! Let me TELL YOU ABOUT THIS FRIED CHICKEN!! IT WAS GLUTEN FREE!! Seriously so.damn.good!! It's been on my list to try especially since they had gluten free options. The fact that it is actually real fried chicken is a BLESSING! The seasoned fries were YUM too. Big portion sizes as well. And the RANCH.... Made me want to slap my mama! It was so DELICIOUS π Definitely give this place a go! My son didn't like his regular spicy sandwich but my daughter and I who have celiacs say YES! DEFINITELY EAT HERE! We will be back for girls night <3

Love us some Bartaco! Wonderful attentive staff, great drinks, and great food. Had their roasted duck and sesame ribeye taco's for lunch. Loved it so much I went back for dinner; got chicken tortilla soup, and the pork belly and roasted duck tacos. Best damn taco's outside of Texas... Oh, and the reposado margarita's are frickin' awesome. Yes, they have strict gluten-free options as well, one of our guests has celiac disease so that is a big concern.
Fantastic Fish. I had gluten-free breaded fish that was lighter and better than any breaded fish i have ever had. My wife has celiac and was able to have a great meal that was gluten-free and safe from cross-contamination.
Absolutely AMAZING experience! We drove up from West Virginia as it was my son's birthday and he wanted to eat at a place where I could safely eat as well (I have celiac disease). In our area there are very limited gluten free options and even fewer that are actually safe for someone with Celiac disease. From start to finish we were overly pleased. Our waitress was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of celiac. Not only did she ensure that my food was safe, but the chef did as well. I felt accepted there and not that my food limitations were a "bother" to anyone. This restaurant really gets it. In addition to not only having a safe meal to eat, the food was delicious! Aside from going above and beyond with my meal, the entire experience was great. All of the employees were friendly, hard working and we had multiple people check in on us, not just our waitress. My husband and son enjoyed their food as well. AND they made sure that my son felt very special on his birthday. We are planning a trip back next week and we cannot wait!
We love Capitol Ale House! Kylie was fabulous. The club is my absolute favorite but I've tried many menu items with no complaints. I had to take off a star because of my recent visit. I have a gluten allergy friend who loves Capitol Ale because of the gluten free options. She ALWAYS looks forward to the fries. They had a dedicated air fryer. This was a huge bonus for anyone with a gluten allergy. This has changed sometime recently and unfortunately is longer an option. Bring back the gluten free fry option.
Went for a late lunch after visiting the Childrens Museum. The burgers were phenomenal, very tasty beef and homemade gluten free buns. Duck fat fries were an extra special treat. Topped it all off with milkshakes.
This has been our family spot for years when we come for family vacation. Itβs 9 times out of 10 a great experience. Some good things. They have great gluten free options. Their orange crushes are the best. And the prices are deff reasonable. Some not so good things. Caution if you sit outside when there is live music, you canβt hear each other talk and will have to yell. Some of their dishes lack flavor. Their peel and eat shrimp are almost inedible due to not being deveined and hard to clean out yourself.

The food was good. However, the gluten-free bun was awful. Worst bun possible. Fell apart like wet paper. Please go back to your other gluten-free bun.
Well, here is my honest review. When we walked in, there were three employees behind the stand. One was busy on the phone and the other two were just standing around and giggling. We stood there for about a minute and no one acknowledged us. I literally turned around and opened the door and said βI guess they are closed.β (Nigel - you can actually check the camera because itβs a great feedback/teaching moment to your staff.) The two girls still said nothing to us. We stayed because of your Gluten Free options. We got sat and we waited. Then, we waited some more. Then, we flagged down a passing server and inquired where ours was. She told us that she would check. A few moments later, someone appeared at the table. Our server Talina was a bag full of sunshineβ¦ NOT. She was mediocre at best. While waiting for our food, we were subjected to the inappropriate music being blasted from the kitchen. (We sat in the booth right in front of the kitchen expo.)
Speaking of food, I asked for the pasta with chicken; no mushrooms but substitute broccoli. I was charged $3 for a few measly pieces of it but hey, its 2024. The food overall was very, very good. However, due to the lack of hospitality and pleasant atmosphere, it was a fail in my book.
*Bonus tidbit, I called from my seat asking if Nigel was in tonight. They answered βnoβ to which I replied, itβs clearly evident.
WE absolutely LOVE our regular place. Great Happy Hour drink pricing food is amazing all the time and service is top notch! I cannot say enough great things about Toast @ Winterfield. They have a rewards point system so you can rack up points to use towards your bill. Great Daily specials -Call restaurant for deets and the normal menu items are always delish. Great portion sizes and their Chicken wings are HUGE and super yummy, The Pimento cheese Fried wonton app is my fave. Great Delish Pizza specials on Tuesdays! She Crab soup is superb. Great Gluten Free options as well- they pay attention to this option and not cross contaminated. You cant go wrong with this place. Just get there early for good seats.
Ate here for lunch with my husband and son. The food was delicious and service was superb as always. The second we sat down the service was ready to help me get something started for my son who was clearly hangry and on the verge of a toddler meltdown. She was knowledgeable about the menu and navigated his dairy allergy like a champion. He had the kids burger and seemed to enjoy it. I had the steak salad and it was DELICIOUS(made gluten free and Celiac safe). My husband got himself a burger and also said it was great(he is picky about his burgers and said it was cooked perfectly and he didn't have to scrape any condiments off like usual)
Great place all around. Not only is the BBQ amazing, they don't snub their nose at dietary restrictions. After my family ordered, I witnessed a group come in with a girl that had a gluten restriction. Sooners has a dedicated fryer and was very accommodating without being patronizing about it. You can tell they are in it for the customer. True old school small business that cares. I'll definitely be back!
