Started coming here because it is a spitting image of another pizza company where I went to college. Who doesn't love an unlimited topping pizza for a decent price? Employees have always done a great job, they're always very friendly here. One time I came in a few min early for an online order, and they were pulling mine out but it had a big hole! They remade it ASAP, and were super apologetic about the wait. They were slammed that night too. The only downside is they don't have options for those with gluten intolerance (salad will be cross contaminated).
Nice place to get a burger and specialty fries. Freddy's Sauce is really good and a great twist on the shoestring fries they serve. Our Food was served relatively fast and hot. They offer a lettuce wrap for all the sandwiches for those with a gluten allergy. If you like Sunday's, they have a pretty good Turtle Sunday.
Hawaiian Bros has completely won me over especially with their Huli Huli Chicken! Tender, flavorful, and grilled to perfection, it is hands-down my go-to every time. As someone with celiac disease, I deeply appreciate that they offer clearly labeled gluten-free options without sacrificing taste or authenticity. It is such a relief to enjoy a delicious, safe meal without the stress.
But the real cherry on top? That Pineapple Soft Serve. Oh my goodness. It instantly transports me back to Hawaii with every sweet, creamy bite. It is like a mini vacation in a cup, smooth, tropical, and downright addictive. I could eat it every day and never get tired of it. LOVE, love, love it!
Whether you are gluten free or just craving island comfort food, Hawaiian Bros delivers with heart, flavor, and a whole lot of aloha. 🌸
Food is always delicious, perfect temperature and friendly and helpful staff. I have a gluten allergy and can always count on them to be very careful to avoid cross contamination in the kitchen. 5 stars!!
Have loved Xaboo Mephaa since before their restaurant! I have celiac disease and never get sick from cross contamination. Aside from that, the food is delicious. The spicy tomatillo salsa has so much flavor - I always order the same thing and it never disappoints.
I always like to go to Culvers. I like the diverse food options. It's always hot and prepared well. It's in the top 3 of fast food for me.
Today I had a child in my party who has a gluten allergy. I had them order so as to avoid any confusion. They stated they had a gluten allergy and the staff member asked them if they wanted a gluten free bun and menti9ned that if they wanted fries thst the fries would be contaminated because the oil is used for other non-gluten free foods.
The food was brought out on seperate trays and the bun was still in it's wrapper. The hamburger patty was on its own on the cardboard serving tray.
I was impressed with how well trained the staff took this and how well the food was handled.
Amazing!
This is the place if you want a gluten free alternative or just good food! Been coming here since they opened. It’s our families FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT!
I got the Cesar wrap and omg it was good! I would have liked a little less lettuce so I’ll order it like that next time so no biggie! The fries were also so tasty!! I’ll probably order extra cheese on those next time too cause I really loved the taste of them! Over all 5 stars even with what I would have changed! And to see that they have Gluten Free options? Yes!
The gluten free bun is awesome! I get to enjoy a true burger meal that taste like it should! I miss a good burger and am so thankful I can have one at Culver's!
We stopped here at the recommendation of a friend and were not dissappointed.
This was our first time and the staff was really friendly with answering questions so we could decide what we wanted to try first.
The food came quickly and was the best fast food roast beef I've ever had! The sauces were a standout and they had gluten free buns!
We will definitely be stopping again when we're around STL!
We tried this place due to its reputation for gluten free options. Hubby got the King roast beef sandwich and he got enough roast beef for 3 sandwiches. He LOVED their gluten free bun. They also have a dedicated fryer for French fries. I had the gluten free chicken strips that tasted fine but the portion was skimpy. I think others with larger appetites might leave hungry. The salad on the other hand was fresh and huge. I could only eat half. This was the first time at a Lion's Choice and 2 counter people were a bit rude when I didn't know I was supposed to take my salad out of the cooler and for another incident. Also, none of the sauces or dressings are listed in the nutrition guide. For a business that does such a great job addressing gluten issues, I was surprised they are ignoring possible allergy issues in this part of their menu. We will probably eat her again but we won't my rushing back.
This was my first visit, and I was not impressed with the food, especially for what you pay in prices!!! I had a sandwich on the gluten free bread which was inedible!! It was like eating good ingredients on sawdust!!! My son's sandwich was dripping with excessive amount of sauce. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant was clean and the meat on my sandwich was good, but the bread was nasty!!!
Can't really go wrong with a Barbacoa Burrito Bowl that's deliciously gluten and dairy free! This location gave very generous portions and we left feeling a bit over-full 😅 Unfortunately, this location has no changing tables in the bathrooms so we had an uncomfortable emergency diaper change on the dirty bathroom floor. This is the third location I've been to now without changing tables which is incredibly frustrating in today's day and age. Do better Chipotle.
I ordered a single bacon burger on gluten free bun no cheese with sweet potato fries. The gentleman who took my order was pleasant and kind. My food was exactly as ordered came quick and was so good! I honestly haven’t enjoyed a meal like that in a long time!
I wouldn't eat here if you're gluten sensitive. They may have gluten free options but they don't take gluten free seriously. I asked in the drive thru if the chips and queso is gluten free and the lady said I'll have to look online because they don't look into that. What an answer lol took my business elsewhere. I recommend Corner pub and grill down the street from them who is owned by a celiac family.
The parking lot and traffic flow at this location is hectic. So definitely be prepared to be patient and on the lookout for distracted drivers. This said, the food is okay, but the service was amazing!! They do offer a gluten-free bun which is nice, but it definitely isn't the best I've had - it is prepackaged so not a slight to this location - it's the same at all Culver's (being just okay). The fries were surprisingly good, which surprised me as I'm not a crinkle-cut fan. Overall it's better than expected, especially after dealing with the chaos in the parking lot.
I had heard nothing but great things. I decided to come as they had gluten free options and it’s rare to find a place with a GF hot dog bun.
The gentleman who took our order was very nice and the food came out efficiently. The taste of the food (2 dogs and a brat, two fries) were great, my nieces enjoyed theirs a lot. Mine tasted great, although the GF option isn’t really a hot dog bun…it was more like a sub sandwich bun. Within an hour of leaving this place I was SO SICK. Nausea and severe stomach pains - which is what happens if I am accidentally exposed to a fair amount of gluten. While I understand this is not a dedicated gluten free restaurant, I have eaten at many other places that are not either. I suspect Steve’s Hot Dog cross contamination practices are very lax & this is disappointing. If you’re going to offer GF items, you need to be knowledgeable and attempt to at least not make people sick!
Before we left, we waited to use the rest room (one was out of order). An employee came out and he had the worst smelling B.O. I have ever experienced. We were gagging in the bathroom. It sort of grosses you out when you know someone is working in the kitchen and they have a body odor issue like that.
If you are gluten-free, especially if you react badly, check your order. Out of 3 times, I've gotten a wheat bun, even when I stressed gf. Tonite, the team lead was really huffy (literally huffed) when I brought my hamburger back and asked him to fix it.
Edited: I didn't realize until After I left that my new shirt was ruined here a $23 shirt I've had for a week ruined by the bleach they left from wiping down the table. I don't have the kind of money to replace my clothes that frequently. I'm really upset about it.
Food was alright, I went during the lunch rush on 3/14 so the atmosphere was very chaotic. I felt the sandwiches were a little bland, but the flavor of the meat itself was excellent. The natural cut fries were delicious despite their lack of salt. They do have gluten free buns but the fries are not guaranteed to be gluten free.
They cleaned their bathrooms in middle of lunch rush leaving the wet floor sign in the middle of the doorway, which made it extremely difficult for me (someone using a mobility device to access the bathroom.
Not sure if I'd go back but I wouldn't tell people not to go there, it's not bad just not my preference.
I don't know how Culver's no matter where I go is the only fast food both fully staffed and on top of everything.
Major bonus:Gluten free buns.
Possibly iffy for Celiac because I'm fairly sure the fryers are shared but I'd wager you can no doubt ask for tour sandwiches to be prepared in a safe area given the buns were given in their own package.
I love this place. Good gluten free options that are tasty with a good portion size. Quick and easy pickup. I stop in every time I'm in the St Louis area.
